Anna Kournikova dashes Enrique Iglesias’ marriage plans

Pop heartthrob Enrique Iglesias says he has asked his longtime girlfriend Anna Kournikova to marry him, but she keeps turning him down. The couple was rumored to be engaged in December after Kournikova was spotted wearing a large diamond ring on her wedding finger. Since then, Iglesias and Kournikova have refused to confirm or dismiss the engagement reports.

But Iglesias who spoke to reporters Friday after arriving in the Dominican Republic for the first of nine concerts planned across Latin America, shot down the rumors of marriage.

Iglesias says he keeps asking and Kournikova keeps ignoring his appeals to wed. In his words, “I always try, but she pays me no attention.”

The Madrid-born artist is the son of crooner Julio Iglesias.

Separately the 26-year-old beauty recently commented on fellow tennis player 25-year old Andy Roddick’s recent engagement to model Brooklyn Decker. “They’re really young, but I hope it works out. I’m never getting married.”

CNN reporter Richard Quest arrested in Central Park

CNN reporter Richard Quest was arrested this morning outside of Central Park in NYC for breaking park curfew. The park shuts down from 1 to 6 in the morning. The police noticed Richard in the park at around 3:40 this morning. As they were walking him out of the park, he apparently panicked and told them, ““I have meth in my pocket.” Obviously a celebrity rookie at drug busts. The usual response only after the police themseleves search you is:

“I don’t know what that is. Those sir are not my pants.”

Richie, who is British and openly gay, hosts “CNN Business Traveler” and “Quest.”

At his arraignment in Manhattan’s Criminal Court, a Judge told Quest that if he attends counseling and therapy designated by prosecutors for the next six months, his case will dismissed. That seems pretty lenient since there wasn’t even a trial?

Quest’s lawyer, said his client “did not realize the park had a curfew. He was returning to his hotel with friends.”

Which friends were those, the meth in his pocket?

Madonna $25 million for two concerts?

Madonna is reportedly finalizing negotiations to play 2 concerts in money rich Dubai for $25 million.

TWO gigs for $25 million? Score!!

The plan is for Madge to end her world tour with the Dubai concerts this November. The UK Sun reports that if each show is 90-minutes long and with her cut at $15 million, she’ll make around $165,000 a minute or $10,000 for every crotch thrust.

She’s also in talks to perform at a private party in Dubai for $10 million. She recently said that she wouldn’t do privates parties for less than $10 million. The bitch got her wish.

A source said, “Madonna is about to break another record by playing the most lucrative concert of her whole career – or anyone’s career for that matter. The figure is so big because of her new contract with Live Nation and the huge funds available from private promoters in Dubai.”

Manicurists tremble as Foxy Brown is released from prison

Inga Marchand, aka rapper Foxy Brown is finally a FREE woman!

29-year-old Foxy walked outta Rikers Island on Friday, after serving 8 out of the 12 months she was sentenced to serve including 40 days in solitary confinement for attacking 2 women over a $20 manicure.

She appealed to a judge in a handwritten letter for early release, “Yes, I’ve made some bad choices and stupid mistakes. But please understand that sitting in a prison with murderers and criminals is not rehabilitating or what I need to deal with my inner issues.” And, lucky for her the appeal worked!

Manicurists all over the Tri-State area have closed shop early upon hearing the news that Foxy is out out of prison! Or at least they should have.

Foxy is due back in court on May 5th for allegedly throwing a BlackBerry mobile device at a neighbor during an argument last summer. Foxy has anger management issues!

Meanwhile Foxy is already back to work. She’s filming a Vh1 reality show which will show her adjusting to life on the outside, and also has a new album, “Brooklyn’s Don Diva,” due for release on May 13.
Can’t wait to watch her ‘deal with her inner issues’ on the small screen.

Gary Busey evicted from his home

Gary Busey has been thown out of his home in Malibu, California, for failing to pay his rent. Not just a little rent though.

Reports are that he owes over $50,000 in back rent. So why doesn’t he just pay up?

Apparently, he’s refusing to do so because he claims that the “unclean air conditioning vents” were posing a serious health risk to him.

The eviction notice was posted on the front door of his Malibu home on Thursday.

Tonight, Busey will be going public with his eviction battle, and will appear on Access Hollywood to tell his side.

After the whole Oscar fiasco when he acted so hyper with Ryan Seacrest and Jennifer Garner and now this I think Busey needs to take his meds?

We’re hoping Gary has a warm safe place to stay but if not he’s going to fit right in with the ‘eccentric’ homeless people in Hollywood.

Jennifer Aniston “surprise guest” on Oprah’s Big Give

Jennifer Aniston will be the “surprise guest” on the season finale of Oprah’s Big Give this Sunday, Winfrey’s pal Nate Berkus has confirmed. Berkus told the New York Daily News:

“I have known Jen for years and she is an awesome woman. Jen’s wonderful and generous,” he said. “She is a huge part of Sunday night’s show and people will be surprised to see how big a part she plays in the actual Big Give.”

The Big Give, which focuses on 10 contestants as they travel across the country with a large sum of money, and tests their creativity as they try and help people in unique ways. One contestant is eliminated at the end of each episode. The show has already inspired many celebrity donations, including one from American Idol judge Simon Cowell, who gave $162,000 to a couple whose 3-year-old daughter Madeline was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer.

Michael Lohan recently said his actress daughter Lindsay was going to India to do missionary work. Unfortunately her people quickly shot down the story by saying, “It’s not true.“

Apparently embarrassed and unable to directly communicate with his daughter, he took a page from his ex-wife’s book, and went to the press with his response. He told Gatecrasher:

“I think we can all see that her present so-called friends and management have her focused on the wrong projects and things. If Lindsay would just listen to me and follow my guidance, like she did when her life was on the right path, and before the people you see now that are in her life, I guarantee that her life would straighten out and she’d be back to being the gifted actress everyone knew and loved.“

Oh these kids Michael, they just don’t want to listen! I think some missionary work for Lindsay would be just the ticket to getting the ‘gifted actress’ the hell away from us.

Shortly after daddy spoke, Lindsay was a guest on radio’s The Billy Bush Show and responded to Michael’s comments on needing new people in her life.

She said, “I just wish that he wouldn’t go and talk to the media. It’s not attractive to me, it really upsets me and I wish he would stop. … I love my father. I just don’t know why he’s doing what he’s doing. It’s a weird situation, very odd.”

Amy Winehouse now has reportedly started making plans to end her marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil. A crack addict making plans? The soul singer is supposedly waiting for Blake to be released from jail before she breaks the news to him, according to The UK Sun.
Fielder-Civil is currently awaiting trial at Pentonville Prison on charges of assault and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Winehouse has apparently missed several visits to the North London prison and is behaving like a “single woman” with friends. The troubled singer, 24, did not visit Blake on his 26th birthday in jail on Wednesday or send a card in time.

“Amy does everything she can not to visit,” said a source. “She forgets she is married half the time. There are a few men she is close to and Blake can’t stand it.”

The Back To Black star’s father commented: “It wouldn’t surprise me if Amy and Blake had broken up. Truthfully I don’t think even Amy knows what she wants.

We have now transitioned from are they getting married, where are the rings and now before you know it the honeymoon is over. Reports are newlyweds, Beyonce and Jay-Z, are already fighting. Yup, that’s what making it legal does to a couple.

The two were partying at the Hollywood Bowl where Jay-Z got up on stage to back presidential candidate Barack Obama. After a dig at George W Bush, the rap megastar tried to lift the mood by rapping over a few songs. Flicking through the DJ at the show decided to play their song, “Crazy in Love.” Jay-Z screamed at Beyonce and the audience,
“Fuck that. Sorry Bey but fuck that - let’s play something else.”

I feel the same way whenever that song starts playing on my iTunes. I tell my laptop the same thing.

Beyonce immediately stormed off. A source said, “He meant it as a joke, but Beyonce didn’t take it that way. After he came off stage, she confronted him, demanding to know what the hell his comments had been about. She was gesturing wildly and not looking happy.”

After some likely groveling by Jay-Z, They managed to kiss and make up, and were seen smiling and holding hands again.
The source also said Bey and Jay were showing off “their tattooed wedding ring fingers. Both have ‘IV’ - the date of their wedding’ - inked on.”

Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiancé Casey Aldridge are looking to welcome their first child in a new home. Spears is 7 months pregnant and is believed to be expecting a girl.

The teen star who turned 17 on April 14th, is due to give birth this summer. Jamie and Casey who just started house hunting have allegedly made a $300,000 offer on a three-bedroom house in Liberty, Mississippi. The house is also said to have a loft, marble floors, a remodeled kitchen and games room. Raising the baby far from the bright lights of Hollywood sounds like a good idea.

Politicians can be ruthless! Russian outgoing President Vladimir Putin is reportedly planning to leave his wife of 25 years for a former Olympic gymnast and once-time actress and model half his age.

The 56-year-old president allegedly secretly divorced his 50-year-old wife Ludmilla, mother of his two daughters, two months ago so he would be free to marry nubile gold medal-winning rythmic gymnast and one-time model Alina Kabaeva, 24. The London daily quoted the Russian newspaper Moskovski Korrespondent as saying the couple are to marry in mid-June, little more than a month after Mr. Putin steps down as President.

Mr Putin, a former KGB spy, had been flaunting his love in Moscow restaurants, Russian newspapers say. The former KGB spy rose from obscurity after winning the Russian presidential election in 2000 and again in 2004. Putin claims that he has rebuilt the pride of a nation shattered by post communist chaos. His second term ends on May 7, 2008 when Dmitry Medvedev will begin serving as the next Russian president. Putin was named Person of the Year 2007 by Time magazine.

Alina is a model and actress and recently became a seated member of Russia’s parliament last December. Alina is foremost known for her extreme natural flexibility. She is Russia’s most successful rhythmic gymnast to date, and is also one of the most decorated gymnasts in the history of rhythmic gymnastics. Alina represented Russia in rhythmic gymnastics at the Sydney and Athens Olympic Games. She took home a gold medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, and a bronze medal in 2000 Sydney. Alina Kabaeva also became a film star, and played in the Japanese kung-fu / ninja film Red Shadow. She also has done a little modeling before entering politics in 2005 and eventually being seated as a Deputy to the Russian Parliament, the Duma in 2007.
