If these promos with the oldest Jonas Brother, Russell Brand and Britney Spears are any hint what the MTV VMAs are going to be like, they are seriously going to suck a$$ big time. Where did MTV find Russell Brand? You know it is bad when Britney is the funnier one in the promo and the better actress. How sad is that?
So if you care the MTV Video Music Awards are going to air live on from Paramount Pictures Studios on September 7th.

“Gemini Division,” stars Rosario Dawson and Justin Hartley. Starting on August 18th NBC.com and SciFi.com will begin airing 50 webisodes daily of Gemini Division starring the incredibly well-built Justin Hartley. Joining Hartley (who is returning to Smallville also) is Rosario Dawson and these webisodes look like they are going to be so full of action, that we be exhausted after watching them.
I can’t wait to see how Gemini Division starting on August 18th turns out because by the looks of that trailer it looks like it is going to be better than most of the shows of on TV!
Nikki Finke is reporting that Tori Spelling has dropped out 90210 completely over money.
Donna Martin for just "$10,000-$20,000" per episode. But then Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty were signed for "$35,000-$50,000" a show. When Tori found out her former co-stars were getting paid way more than she was, she got pissed and demanded equal pay. But the network suits have refused. So now my sources tell me that Tori has pulled out of the series, which premieres with a 2-hour special on September 2nd. "She thought she deserved parity, and she's got a point," an insider explained to me.
I can see Tori's point, but I think she should do it because I think it will help her get her acting career back on track. Besides her reality show on Oxygen what else does she have going on for her?
UPDATE: After seeing this video of her singing with her husband Dean McDermott, she really needs to say yes to 90210!
Madonna twisted her ankle over the weekend and decided to postpone her 50th birthday celebration according to OK! Magazine.
A source said: "She [Madonna] twisted her ankle over the weekend."She views this as a sign she should postpone the birthday bash and play it by ear instead."
Yeah right it was a sign, she just didn't want to put it on and have everyone asking about marriage. That and face that fact she is turning 50.

Hayden Panettiere's dad was arrested this morning for allegedly hitting her mother according to The Insider.
Alan Panettiere, 49, was taken into custody at around 3:00 a.m. in West Hollywood, according to a police booking report, which lists a bail amount of $50,000.
When I saw this story, it reminded me of all the turmoil Lindsay Lohan went through with her parents and I wonder if The Panettieres will be the next Lohans. Plus in ways I think Hayden is on her way to being like Lindsay, you know being 18 and dating a man 13 years her senior, their relationship still grosses me out.

Both Alison Sweeney and Samantha Harris showed up to the same event wearing almost the same dress. Oh to be a fly on the wall when the two saw each other wearing almost the same thing. I wonder if each was green with envy of the other?
BTW when it comes to who wore it better, I am going to say Alison Sweeney because I like her better and she looks better in it!

How precious is that video of a father trying to teach his kid to high five him, but the dog steps in to help him out!
For years I have been saying I would go see Band From TV, and on Saturday I finally did it! OMG these guys and gals sing and play as good as they act. Saturday night’s lineup included James Denton, Jesse Spencer, Greg Grunberg, Bob Guiney, Hayden Panittere, Jorge Garcia, Teri Hatcher, Zach Levi and Hugh Laurie. Laurie wasn’t scheduled to be there, but when he came on stage I nearly plotzed. It was so cool to see him playing a keyboard a few feet away from me after watching him do it for all these years on House. Talking about House, Jesse Spencer plays a mean violin, who knew you could play a mean violin? Jorge Garcia was a late add, and I am so happy he was there what a voice on him! It was also cool to see the Heroes guys and gal jam. In fact before the show started Christine Rose aka Angela Petrelli was standing next to me and all I wanted to do was ask her for spoilers for the new season but then the band came on. James Denton was also really good, I loved his Viva Las Vegas. Now I can’t believe I admitting this, but Teri Hatcher was a lot better than I thought.
It was great to see some to see some of the actors and actresses from my favorite TV shows like House, Lost, Desperate Housewives and Heroes jam together in Band From TV, but it is also admirable of these guys donate all the money to charity! I respect the actors who give back and this group let’s us be a part of it. So if you get a chance to see Band From TV live, I know I won’t wait another 2 years, do it!!!
