Joe Elliott of Def Leppard was recently handed the Detroit Red Wings’ Stanley Cup at the NHL Face-Off Rocks segments at the Fox Theater in Detroit and when he put it down he put it down the upside-down according to Puck Daddy. Poo Joe, good thing he is not Canadian or he would be banned from the country.
Britney Spears’ website finally has a new look, replacing the image that has been there for over a year. Right now there is a countdown on the Britney Spears’ site, which makes me wonder if the countdown is for the launch of the new site or the premiere of the video for Womanizer during ABC’s 20/20 tonight at 10p.

Celebrity Rehab 2 is back in session on VH1 on October 23rd. Minus Jeff Conaway CR2 is back with new celebs and looks just as intense as last season if not more.
Similar to the first cycle, the second season of “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew” will follow the real-life experiences of celebrity patients undergoing detoxification and treatment at a center in the Los Angeles area. The show will follow Jeff Conaway as he checks back into rehab after a series of back surgeries, setbacks and subsequent reliance on pain medications. Joining him in rehab are Sean Stewart (Sons of Hollywood), Amber Smith (model/actress), Rodney King, Nikki McKibbon (American Idol), Steven Adler (Guns n Roses) and Tawny Kitaen (Actress). Gary Busey, who is 13 years sober from his cocaine addiction, will also be joining the cast to take the journey with the others and to share his experiences on the recovery process.
I think this show is a must watch because it shows what rehab is like and it is not a place you want to go to. It shows what drugs and alcohol can do to you and why they should be avoided.

The Starter Wife is back tonight on USA at 9p with a two hour premiere. There are a lot of changes to the show from last season and I love them all. Molly Kagan is man-free, but looks like there is a new one coming her way. She has a new friend, who will quickly not be her friend because Molly’s journal is stolen at a party and someone is leaking what she wrote to a blog and that friend is getting the brunt of the gossip. Joan is out of rehab, well sort because now she is working for them three days a week. We need more Joan even though we are getting plenty of her, you just can’t get enough. Rodney is designing a male action superstar’s house but he has designs for more than just the house but will this hunky superstar want more too?
There is so much fun in the fast paced two hour premiere I can’t wait for more next week. So tune into The Starter Wife tonight and every Friday at 9p for an enjoyable show to end your week!!!
Watch with Kristin got the first look of Katie Holmes in her episode of Eli Stone airing October 21st. All I can say is a good she is not doing a Musical on Broadway because she can neither sing nor lip sync.
BTW Eli Stone is a great show and you should check it out when it premieres on ABC this Tuesday at 10p.
The Most Haunted team go live from Gettysburg tonight for 7 hours on the Travel Channel starting at 8p. Gettysburg is one the most haunted areas in the country so the team will have a lot to investigate, and I can’t wait to watch them do it. Their live shows are always interesting plus we all get to take part in it. We can text, E-Mail and fax them if we see something they miss or send them your psychic art if it comes to you.
ABC is reinventing the huge mini-series V according to Variety. Scott Peters who worked on The 4400 will write the modern day version of the show and I think he will be a good fit!
“Whenever I mention ‘V’ to anybody, they still have a lot of good memories about the original movie and series,” Peters said. “Everybody has that imagery of their uniforms, or the visitor eating a hamster. It’s a science fiction icon and too good to pass up.”
The original “V” served as an allegory for the Holocaust and Nazi Germany. Peters said he won’t duplicate that concept, except that the new “V” will still focus on what happens when the masses have blind faith in their leaders.
In this case, the new “V” will center on Erica Evans, a Homeland Security agent with an aimless son who’s got problems. When the aliens arrive, her son gloms on to them — causing tension within the family. As in the original “V,” several storylines will unfold simultaneously.
But even without the same storyline, the original “V’s” bones will remain: As in the ’80s version, the show will open with an enormous army of spaceships hovering over the world’s major cities. The visitors say they’ve come to help Earth, but their motives are nefarious (in the original, they wanted to steal the world’s water supply).
Hopefully ABC and Peters will do a good job with the new V and they will bring back Robert Englund. BTW if you have never seen V, go out and rent it now!

A few months ago Pamela Anderson sang Happy Birthday to Hugh Hefner in her birthday suit and his ex-girlfriends documented it for their show The Girls Next Door on E!. Thankfully the show airs on a broadcast channel and they blurred out what needed to be blurred. Becauses I would not want to see the unblurred version.
