Adnan Ghalib denies existence of Britney Spears sex tapeBritney Spears’ ex Adnan Ghalib is denying reports that he’s trying to sell a sex tape featuring Britney and him. Yesterday it was rumored Britney would try to purchase the sex tape to keep it off the market. Adnan told Star magazine:
“There is no sex tape and I’ve never claimed there is one. I don’t know where these quotes I’m supposed to have said have come from. What I do know is they certainly didn’t come from me and they are completely false. I’m extremely upset and distressed and I’m taking legal action . . . This story has caused a lot of hurt to my family and people close to me. There is no sex tape. That is the end of the matter.” (Source)
This is the best news I’ve heard all day. Britney and Adnan fumbling around naked is really no different than one of those graphic PETA videos showing a cow being slaughtered. And trust me, you can’t masturbate to that. God knows I’ve tried.

Britney Spears wants to purchase the sex tape she made with ex-lover Adnan Ghalib so she can destroy it for good, according to a pal. The singer was battling drugs, depression and other demons when the couple are alleged to have filmed a two-hour romp in Mexico. It is thought a pornography website is prepared to offer the photographer up to £5million for the footage.
But now she’s staged a remarkable comeback, Britney is willing to part with as much of her own money as it takes to keep the tape off the market and the focus on her upcoming world tour.
A pal told a newspaper: “Her lawyers have been working overtime. They’ve been told to do whatever it takes to stop the video making it onto the Internet.” An official spokesperson for the singer’s record label would not comment on the report. (Source)

Source from Britney’s camp denies that there’s an Adnan sex tape

Credit: Michael Wright / WENNYesterday the news came out that Britney’s ex boyfriend, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib, told UK’s Heat Magazine that he has a sex tape with Britney and that he wasn’t releasing it until he had a serious - and probably high - offer. He said “There is such a tape, but I won’t discuss prices for hypothetical enquiries. Unless there is a locked-in deal, I will go no further.” I’ve read Heat and it’s probably a legitimate quote as they do have regular interviews. It’s not a super reputable source, but I would doubt they made it up.
There were all sorts of stories earlier in the year that Adnan was shopping a sex tape, but we didn’t hear it directly from Adnan until now.
A source close to Britney has denied that there’s any such tape, while Adnan’s former photo agency - which used to post regular updates from him on their blog - says he never even worked for them. Maybe they mean that he was an independent contractor because they surely made it clear that they had ties to him when he was trolling around with Britney.
British-based Heat magazine reported earlier Monday that photographer/Spears-ex Adnan Ghalib confirmed to them he has a sex tape of himself with the pop star.
However, a source close to Britney Spears is throwing cold water on the Heat story.
“The story is completely false,” the source tells E! News.
Spears’ rep at Jive Records has not responded to calls seeking comment.
Ghalib is also playing hard to get. His cell phone number is disconnected. His former photo agency, JFX, tells E! News that Ghalib “never worked for us” and has not been able to provide any contact information for him.

JayBird mentioned in her coverage of this story yesterday that is sounds like Adnan is just trying to drag Britney down now that she’s sober and regaining some semblance of her former success. I would bet that he’s motivated more by greed, but there could be some of that.
This guy stalks celebrities for a living and I don’t doubt that he was underhanded enough to record a sex tape either with or without Britney’s consent. She was arguably out of her mind when she dated him, and even went directly back to him after her flip out in January and before her father was able to take control. That was when Sam Lutfi was drugging her food and disabling her cars and phones, essentially leading her to drive around aimlessly for hours and stay in hotels in an attempt to gain back some kind of control over her life.
If this ever does come out, I hope Britney’s people sue Adnan for his ill-gotten gains plus damages. As it is, someone should be sending him a strongly worded legal letter advising him never to sell the tape or talk about it again unless he wants to face a lawsuit.

There have been rumors floating around for a long time that Britney Spears made a sex tape with paparazzo ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib. Now Adnan’s confirmed to Heat magazine that the former couple did indeed make a tape, and he’s still got it in his possession. Oh, and he’s willing to sell it, but won’t talk about the price until he’s got a deal firmed up. Classy guy.
Talk about ex-ploitation. Britney Spears’ paparazzo ex-boyfriend has revealed he owns a sex tape starring himself and the former Mouseketeer – and he will sell it, if the price is right.
Adnan Ghalib, the shutterbug and former flame who infamously dated Brit during her breakdown, told Heat magazine, “There is such a tape, but I won’t discuss prices for hypothetical enquiries. Unless there is a locked-in deal, I will go no further.”
The alleged adult footage, which was filmed in Mexico, runs about two hours and features the singer wearing nothing but a pink wig, an unconfirmed source tells Britain’s The Sun newspaper.
“I am not interested in selling out any other details about Britney,” Adnan adds.
We’re sure she’s relieved.

Ick. Not that it’s any sort of surprise, but Adnan Ghalib is pure scum. Even if he could somehow make the argument that he didn’t realize how messed up and crazy Britney was at the time, it’s obvious to even the most self-centered paparazzo in hindsight. He’s clearly not just trying to make some cash; he’s trying to bring Britney down now that she’s doing better and getting her act together. Adnan could have tried to sell the tape at any point during the last six months, but instead he pops up just when she’s pulling everything together. It’s really hard not to wish terrible, terrible things on a guy like this.

On Sunday, rather than staying by her private pool, Spears made her way to Bare Pool where she sipped Fiji bottled water and sunned in the VIP area.
“Her body looked great,” an onlooker said. “It looks like she’s getting her body back, back to the old Britney.”

Why is it when Adnan is seen “within a few yards” of his ex-girlfriend it’s called “meandering” around, and when I do it the Judge calls it “stalking”? The man made famous for worming his way into the inner circle of Britney Spears has reportedly sought medical attention for stab wounds, according to JFX online. The paparazzo was allegedly wounded with lacerations to his arm and face and was sporting a black eye when he visited a hospital for medical attention.
Ha! You know it was Kathy. She lured Adnan into a false sense of security during their recent publicity stunt and then and knifed the fool as soon as she had a moment alone with him. Adnan’s “other woman” has an interview with In Touch this week and says that the handsome British paparazzo betrayed her, just as he betrayed Britney. Adnan told his now-estranged wife that he was helping Britney and that there was no hanky-panky going on, and he fed the same line to 21 year-old model Amanda Pagel. Pagel was cheating on her then-boyfriend, Perry, who was away filming the Bravo reality show “Make Me a Supermodel.” She called him in a segment that aired on the show to say that he shouldn’t believe the media reports without elaborating what it was about, but those of you who watched it told me she had a flat affect and seemed like a real bitch. It looks like Amanda got hers too, because she whined to In Touch about the way that sexy Adnan seduced and tricked her.Amanda claims she was split up with her boyfriend at the time, but that doesn’t seem to be true considering that she had to call him and explain. She also feigns like she didn’t know what was going on between Adnan and Britney.
How did you meet Adnan?
A friend introduced us at an event in January. I didn’t want a relationship - I’d just split up with my boyfriend - but I was lonely and wanted to make new friends. A few days later I texted him to say how nice it was to meet him. He responded immediately, asking if he could come to my house and see me. We saw each other pretty much every day.
What’s Adnan like?
He’s really gentle and sweet with a great sense of humor. We’d sit and talk until 4 a.m. about family, friends, life - everything. I felt like I’d known him all my life. He’s a fantastic kisser, too. He used to compliment me and tell me how sexy I was. I fell for him because I was feeling vulnerable after my breakup, like Britney, and he made me feel amazing about myself. He used to call me “Bebe” but I found out recently that’s his pet name for Britney, too, which hurts.
Did you ever ask him if he was dating Britney?
The first time he came over to my house, I asked about Britney. He swore they were just good friends. He promised they weren’t having sex and he kept reminding me what a hard time Britney had been through. “We’re close and I’m supporting her through difficult times,” he told me. We never went out in public - I thought he was protecting Britney’s feelings. He kept saying, “As soon as she’s back on her own feet, we can go out in public. ” I suspected he might be lying, but I wanted to believe him.
What else did he tell you about Britney?
He told me he felt really sorry for her. He used to say he was the only one she trusted. That’s why he spent time with her. But he also said he was sick of being Mr. Spears. He said the stress was taking its toll. He told me, “Let’s leave Hollywood and live in Italy and start a family.” Britney used to call all the time when he was over. He’d answer it immediately and walk into another room to speak - he always whispered into his cell phone and shut the door. She sends him hundreds of texts a day, some just seconds apart.
When did you realize that he was lying?
When I woke up to find a story about Britney having a huge fight with Adnan after finding texts on his phone. I felt sick. I knew the texts were ones we’d sent to each other. He promised the story was untrue, but a few days later another story broke claiming Britney was pregnant with Adnan’s child.[From In Touch, print edition, March 31, 2008]
Amanda says Adnan told her “If Britney was pregnant, I wouldn’t be with you right now,” and that “it’s just timeshare.” She doesn’t make it clear whether she broke up with him or if they just fell apart once she finally woke up from her sex stupor and realized he was a user. She says he’s still texting her and recently told her “I miss your heart.”
As for Britney, Amanda is speaking out in the pages of In Touch to “tell her we’ve both suffered.” She swears that if “he’d been honest, I’d never have gone near him. I’m not the sort of girl who dates other girl’s boyfriends.” Mmmhmm. Get your 5 minutes of associated fame while you can Amanda.

Britney’s paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib worked as a doorman and lap dance supervisor at a strip club in San Francisco in 2000, and one of the strippers who used to work with him told the National Enquirer that he was pocketing cash behind his employer’s backs and would sleep with anything that moved. Adnan would watch the girls give lap dances and worked out a deal with them so that they didn’t report their earnings to the club in return for giving him cash. What’s more is that he would sneak quickies with the strippers and supposedly slept with more than 10 women in a week. He was also supposedly addicted to crystal meth:Ghalib worked as both a doorman and a “lap dance counter” at the Roaring 20’s club around the year 2000.
“Adnan was a shifty character. You needed to watch him 24/7, because he’d cheat you blind,” an ex-stripper at the club, who went by the stage name Trinity, told The Enquirer in an exclusive interview.
Ghalib, now 35, started out earning $9 an hour as the club doorman, but quickly worked his way up to “lap dance counter,” keeping track of strippers’ private lap dances for the club, according to Trinity.
Adnan found a way to make the job more lucrative for himself, said Trinity.
“Typically, the stripper and the club split the lap dance fee, which is usually $40. The more lap dances a stripper can do privately, the more money she and the club earn.
“And when Adnan saw how much money was changing hands, he wanted a piece of the action. He pressured girls into giving him cash kickbacks in return for not reporting some of their private dances.”
At other times, Ghalib demanded sexual favors instead of cash, according to Trinity and another source…
“His favorite place to have sex with the girls was the general manager’s office.
“The manager made a nightly money drop at the local bank - and Adnan knew the trip took about 15 minutes. Hed’ pull a girl in to the manager’s office and be out before the guy got back.
“As far as I know, Adnan still holds the club record for sleeping with 10 different strippers in a single week.”

In an inset story underneath this article they state that Adnan quit his job in February, 2001, after he pistol-whipped a patron who was arguing with him. Adnan beat the shit out of the guy, and when he looked like he was reaching for something Adnan pulled out the gun and started smashing him in the face with it. It accidentally fired, and although no one was hurt or charged with anything, Adnan was questioned by police and that was enough to scare him into quitting the job.
It sounds like Britney found a real winner, although somehow Adnan is less creepy than that Sam Lutfi character who bragged about drugging her food. If Adnan is the type of person to work in a strip club, steal from his employers and demand sexual favors you know he’s plotting ways to get a hold of some of Britney’s fortune. He was even married when he hooked up with her.
Britney supposedly broke up with Adnan after discovering sexy text messages sent by another woman. She is said to have thrown his iPhone into the pool after demanding to know who sent the messages. Since this story originated in the British tabloid press, chances are high that it’s completely made up, but hopefully it’s true. Britney is also rumored to be pregnant with Adnan’s baby, but that seems like little more than speculation based on her recent weight gain.

British tabloid the Mirror is running a picture from MrPaparazzi.com showing Britney Spears looking pregnant, or maybe just fat, or maybe her shirt just poofed out. Or maybe this is why she went shopping for a pregnancy test with photographer/beau Adnan Ghalib and maybe secretly married the crafty former paparazzo. This could also be why Spears' father has been granted such sweeping conservatorship powers over the crazy singer. Still, would anyone be letting her smoke if she truly was pregnant? And why is the American news media afraid to ask the hard questions about this photo?? Probably because they'd rather mint money with shameless coverage of the glitzy Democratic primary, that's why. Adnan getting comped by Ed Hardy to wear his clothes everywhere

On January 28, Britney was photographed in her boyfriend, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib’s car, with an Ed Hardy designed air freshener and an Ed Hardy energy drink sitting in the cup holder. Adnan is usually seen out in Hardy’s distinctively designed clothing, featuring big old skulls and roses in swirly patterns reminisicent of tattoos. I’m not a fan of Hardy’s clothing, partially because I find it garish, but also since he seems to stick his name all over everything in big scrawling letters as if his style isn’t recognizable enough on it’s own. Hardy is also a large contributor to the Kabbalah cult, which many people say could explain why Madonna was often seen wearing his scary-looking creations.In Touch suggests in this week’s magazine that Adnan is getting free swag from the Ed Hardy company, and offer a photo of his phone showing a text message from an employee at the company. They quote a supposed insider who says “Adnan is a total freeloader. He doesn’t pay for most of the clothes he wears. They’re given to him on the provision that he wears them when he’s with her [Britney].”
It sounds like a cheap price to pay for free advertising. Lohan was also said to have struck a deal with the Arriva tabacco cessation company to carry their product around and get photographed with it, although she hasn’t been seen out with it lately that I can tell. You wonder what other kind of backroom deals celebrities and their hangers-on are making for product placement in paparazzi photos. It seems like Adnan must be getting some kind of cash for wearing those clothes, but maybe I’m too influenced by the fact that I wouldn’t be caught out in it unless someone paid me. I’d rather wear a $15 plain t-shirt from Target.

Is Britney Spears Secretly Married? [Executive Summary]

Star magazine is positing that crazy, bewigged former (let's be honest) singer Britney Spears secretly married paparazzo main squeeze Adnan Ghalib when the two darted off to Mexico last month. But, Adnan is still technically married to his first wife, AzLynn Berry, so any marriage with Spears would be null and void. (But symbolically totally romantic). To that end, it's been rumored that Spears gave Ghalib $250,000 to give to Berry so she would hurry up already with the divorce proceedings. Gossip maven Ben Widdicombe calls this "the only logical reason" for Britney's sudden trip south of the border, which is sort of funny because at this point she could ride down the street on a flaming bicycle, followed by a small parade of koala bears and it wouldn't seem out of the ordinary. Did Britney & Adnan get married in Mexico?

Star magazine is reporting that Britney Spears secretly wed paparazzi boyfriend Adnan Ghalib last month during their brief trip to Mexico. Star claims the couple had the ceremony at Rosarito Beach, and have a source who has seen the wedding documents. While it sounds impossibly crazy, that doesn’t mean jack in the world of Britney Spears. In fact, the more impossibly crazy/totally ridiculous something sounds, the higher the likelihood that Britney Spears actually did it. Walked around a clothing store naked? Sounded crazy, turned out to be true. Held her own kid hostage? Sounded crazy, turned out to be true. Killed a turtle so she could wear its shell as a hat? Sounds crazy, but I bet we find out she’s done that too. So while it sounds totally and completely crazy to run off to Mexico and secretly get married, you never know.
Really, the only logical explanation for Britney Spears’ wild jaunt to Mexico last month was that she was going to get married, but it took Star magazine to connect the dots.
The glossy says she “secretly wed” lens-lizard Adnan Ghalib during the visit - which is legally meaningless, as he has not yet divorced his previous wife, AzLynn Berry.
Star ed Candace Trunzo tells me: “Our source on this was not in Rosarito Beach at the ceremony, but is very familiar with the fact that [wedding] documents exist.”
More interestingly, the mag says Spears gave Ghalib $250,000 to grease AzLynn’s exit. She allegedly told her lawyers, who had imposed a grand-a-day spending limit, that she needed the cash for a new Mercedes.

Britney does have a bit of a history of getting married impulsively. There was the 55 hour marriage to childhood friend Jason Alexander. Oh, and the wedding to K-Fed, when all the guests thought they were coming over for an engagement party. So running off to Mexico in a not-quite-entirely-thought-though plan to get married doesn’t seem beyond the realm of possibility for Britney Spears. AzLynn Ghalib finally filed for divorce from Adnan on January 18th, so there might be some truth to this story. Since the marriage isn’t legally binding, it wouldn’t matter a whole heck of a lot either way. But Britney Spears being in a marrying state of mind is never a good thing. Run, men, run and lock your doors!

Britney got out, got chased, went to a hotel, was visited by Adnan and dad

Late yesterday afternoon Britney was released from the UCLA hospital psychiatric ward after a hospital hearing which determined that the stay was not justified. Both her parents and a psychiatrist at the hospital were advocating that she stay for the remainder of her 14 day hold, but they were overruled by a court representative, who interviewed everyone and recommended that she be released. People reports that this is standard procedure in this type of case.So Britney got out, the paparazzi were thick on her tail and she was driving very erratically, changing lanes dangerously while the paparazzi followed her. (There was a video of the ensuing car chase on TMZ, but it is no longer available.) She did was she’s accustomed to doing, she went to a hotel. She arrived at the Beverly Hills Hotel around 3:30 in the afternoon. TMZ reports that the cops were there shortly afterward to try and disperse the hoard of paparazzi, and according to other accounts they remained at the hotel. Adnan arrived at about 4:40, according to OK! Magazine.
Then Adnan snuck Britney out of the hotel and they arrived at the office of Britney’s new lawyer, Adam Streisand around 5:20. At 7:00, Britney was somehow secreted out of the building under a blanket by one of Adnan’s paparazzo friends and she returned to the Beverly Hills Hotel. The police were still at the hotel at that time.
Britney’s father showed up at around 9:00 and he was seen talking to the hotel staff. About 20 minutes later, according to OK!’s timeline, more police came while Adnan and Britney remained up in her room.
At 9:30, Britney’s father entered her room with paperwork in his hand and the police still standing around. There were guards standing around her car, and that’s where OK!’s story ends. It’s a cliffhanger.
TMZ maybe provides some closure for Britney’s eventful day by saying that Britney’s father, Jamie, who is currently the conservator of her estate, will likely be in court today to make specific requests about his daughter. Since he has legal control over her estate, finances and all contracts she signs, he can say that she’s not authorized to stay in a hotel and has the authority to restrict her visitors.Britney’s parents have released a statement conveying their disappointment in this whole situation, saying that she was released against their wishes and the wishes of the attending physician in the hospital:
“As parents of an adult child in the throws of a mental health crisis, we were extremely disappointed this morning to learn that over the recommendation of her treating psychiatrist, our daughter Britney was released from the hospital that could best care for her and keep her safe. We are deeply concerned about our daughter’s safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk. There are conservatorship orders in place created to protect our daughter that are being blatantly disregarded. We ask only that the court’s orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted.”

What’s the future for Britney now? It seems that if she’s not hospitalized she’s just going to keep driving around, shopping, and staying at hotels with swarms of paparazzi making the situation incredibly dangerous for her and innocent bystanders. If nothing changes, it seems like it’s just a matter of time before there’s a car accident or someone gets hurt. Maybe this will bring awareness to the need for some legal restrictions on the paparazzi. There are plans for a new ordinance in LA that would create a “personal safety zone” around celebrities and others who are in the media. Is it too little too late?

Update: Britney was said to be back at her home that evening at around 11:00 pm PST after having dinner out with Adnan. When she returned her mother and father were waiting for her. At first Brit was said to have been nervous and wanted to leave, but she eventually went in with Adnan. It is thought that her parents are staging an intervention and trying to convince her to go back into treatment.

Late last month Adnan Ghalib, accompanied his girlfriend Britney Spears, when she was transported by ambulance to the UCLA Medical Center Psych Ward, but today he has no standing with the Spears family. The Spears chasing photographer turned boyfriend attempted to visit Britney Spears yesterday, but was reportedly turned away by her mother Lynne. He waited for half an hour inside the hospital but ultimately was not allowed to see the committed pop star, perhaps déjà vu for a man that spent so much time chasing after Britney. A source at the scene said that Adnan, “seemed upset” and left with gifts and flowers he brought for Brit, but was never able to give her.

Everything stays the same for Britney

So Britney somehow hired a new lawyer to represent her in court to challenge the ruling that her father be made conservator of her estate. The judge ruled against Britney’s side, saying that her father, Jamie, can remain in control of her finances and all medical decisions regarding his daughter until February 14th.Britney’s lawyer, Adam Streisand, who is said to be Barbara Streisand’s second cousin, requested that Northern Trust bank and Howard Grossman, who is Britney’s business manager, be appointed instead as Britney’s conservators. He argued that having her father run her estate is unnecessarily frustrating for Britney. His request was denied and the judge said that Britney wasn’t even mentally competent enough to have hired Streisand to represent her. She will presumably be represented by a lawyer appointed by the court. That court-appointed lawyer visited her in the hospital on Sunday and told the judge that she’s not capable enough to understand the legal case or to have hired her own lawyer. A physician will examine Britney to determine her level of competence and report to the court on February 13.
The lawyers for Britney’s father, Jamie, wanted to have Britney’s legal team of Trope and Trope, who are said to be aligned with Sam Lutfi, fired. That request was not granted and Britney can retain their services. It’s not clear why they did not represent her in this specific case and how she obtained a different lawyer.
The judge addressed the restraining order against Lutfi, saying that the order is that Britney have absolutely no contact with him, including phone calls or e-mail. She is rumored to have been talking to him on the phone. When the conservators of Britney’s estate tried to serve the restraining order personally to Lutfi yesterday, he refused to open the door.
There was also yet another custody hearing for Britney and K-Fed on Monday. It was said to have been scheduled before she was hospitalized for this second time. The verdict is that there will be no changes for now and that she cannot see either of her boys. Britney’s legal reps in the custody battle wanted to request that they be taken off the case, but have withdrawn that request given their clients extreme recent problems.
Meanwhile Britney’s paparazzi boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, attempted to visit her in the hospital bearing roses. He was seen looking upset while leaving about 20 minutes later, and OK! Magazine reports that it is unknown if he was actually able to see her.
