Former First Lady Nancy Regan Hospitalized After Fall

Nancy Regan, the wife of the late President Ronald Regan, was hospitalized after falling and fracturing her pelvis and lower spine.She reportedly fell after getting out of bed during the night sometime last week and has been in pain ever since. Ironically, she admitted herself into the Ronald Regan UCLA Medical Center shortly after.
No surgery will be required for the 87-year-old, but recovery may take 8 weeks or longer.

Of all the gay icons in the world, Elizabeth Taylor, 76, has to be the Queen.
And in return, she loves her gay fans right back.
Last night Liz showed up at her fave gay club, WeHo’s The Abbey, thrilling patrons by interacting and chatting with them - all the while enjoying a ’sizeable’ martini herself.
This was Liz’s first visit to the club since being hospitalized last month.
Despite rumors about her deteriorating health, Liz was energetic and happy. One club goer said Liz absolutely lit up the room.
“She was lively. She was laughing and she was smiling. Even if she was not as strong as the last time she was here, she was once again the life of her small party.”
As Liz and her small dog Daisy, prepared to leave, Liz’s assistant placed a large pair of rhinestone sunglasses on the icon.
A witness watched Liz leave. He said,
“She needed help getting into the car. As [they] drove away in this gigantic black sedan, all you could see was those sunglasses and a big smile on her face.”
After a giant martini and a little club time, I’m sure Liz needed help getting into the car - and probably into bed! Good for her, still having a good time at 76 years old. Tabloids have been talking about her being deathly ill since she was in her 50s. I doubt the rumors faze her anymore. You go, girl!

Mackenzie Phillips is Still a Junkie

Apparently Mackenzie Phillips‘ (One Day at a Time, American Graffiti) drug days are not a thing of the past.
Around 10:00 am this morning as she was being screened by security, baggies of cocaine and heroin fell to the floor. Officer responded and she was promptly arrested. She is currently in custody.
Mackenzie is the daughter of John Phillips of The Mamas and the Papas, and the stepdaughter of Michelle Phillips, also in the band.
Phillips has a long history with drug abuse and once said she started using marijuana and LSD when she was 12. She claims her father showed her how to shoot up when she was 18. Around that same time Mick Jagger, who was a guest in the Phillip’s home, seduced her saying, “I’ve been waiting to do this since you were ten years old.” Eww!
Poor Mackenzie. Still fighting those demons. And with a screwed up childhood like that, it’s not surprising.

Paul Newman Might Be Close to Dying

Paul Newman, 83, has finished his chemotherapy treatment and has returned home where his loving wife, Joanne Woodward, and daughters will care for him.
Paul is reportedly happy to be out of the hospital and at home, which is where he wants to be when he dies.
A friend of the family says that Paul has been spending time getting things prepared for his passing. Paperwork and legal stuff - but he has also made sure to leave some things to his close friends, and his family is having a hard time with that apparently.
“He gave a prized car – a Ferrari with his racing number 82 on it – to a long-time pal. The sudden move angered his children. It’s especially hard for them to come to grips with what’s going on.”
The source adds that Newman has been told he only has weeks to live. Which might be true, being as he has terminal lung cancer. I’ve lost a family member to terminal cancer and it was not long after treatment that things got ugly. Honestly, I have pretty mixed feeling on chemo/radiation…but we won’t go there..
Newman has also been preparing one of his daughters to take over his salad dressing company.
Newman married his wife 50 years ago in 1958.
He has refused to comment on his condition.

Jerry Lewis Caught With Gun at Airport

Jerry Lewis, 82, was caught with an unloaded gun in his carry-on at a Las Vegas airport.
TMZ reported that Jerry told the police that a family member had used his bag previously, but then Lewis’ manager the gossip site that it was a prop gun.
However, Las Vegas media is reporting it was a 22-caliber Beretta.
The gun was confiscated and Lewis was allowed to take his Northwest Airlines flight to Detroit.

David Lee Roth’s Nuts Almost Did Him In

David Lee Roth, 53, was pulled over for speeding in Oakland, Ontario recently -and lucky for him, it may have saved his life.
When police approached the Van Halen singer’s rental car they realized he was having a major medical problem. Apparently Mr. Roth has an allergy to nuts and was having a severe allergic reaction.
Officers waited with Roth as paramedics arrived then transported him to a nearby hospital.
Constable Chris Thompson was one of the first on the scene. He says he didn’t immediately recognize the rocker but knew he was most certainly not from that part of town.
“At the time, I wasn’t star struck,” Thompson said. “I was just trying to help him. The guy stuck out like a sore thumb. He was wearing a little silk scarf and flashy clothing – it’s not something you see in Oakland too often.”

We always knew Brigitte Nielsen was crazy, but her latest stunt is by far one of her most uncanny!
Brigitte underwent a complete body makeover as two million Germans tuned in on primetime television.Sylvester Stallone’s ex had liposuction performed on her thighs, her eyes were Botoxed and her breasts were toned down to a smaller size.
But that’s not where it ends.
More installments of “From Old to New; Brigitte Nielsen in the Celebrity Clinic” are set to air as she undergoes extensive dental work and other cosmetic enhancements.
Brigitte boasted, “I know I am the first female celebrity in the world who has allowed herself to be filmed like that in an operating [room]. I know I will be breaking a taboo. But I’m sure that it will provoke a new discussion. It’s time things change. I feel 30 and want to look that way again.”
One of Brigitte’s goals is to be Playboy ready when she is completed with her transformation. The actress graced the cover of the men’s mag nearly 20 years ago and she is determined to do it again.She adds that her other intention for doing this is to show that Hollywood celebs don’t look the way they do because of good genes.
“The secrecy in Hollywood is annoying. You can see that the stars do not age naturally. It’s not right that the fans, the normal women, are lied to. I’m getting a complete renewal: facelift, eyelift, fat injections in my face, liposuction, a breast lift and I need new teeth.”brgi

Regardless of her age, Elizabeth Taylor still dazzles people wherever she goes.
Taylor, 76, attended an event celebrating the legalization of gay marriage in California wearing her usual bling and toting around her fluffy white pooch.
Liz knows she’s a gay icon and and in April she attended a function at a gay nightclub in Beverly Hills where she was also dripping with jewels.The classic star suffers from diabetes and congestive heart failure, she has had both hips replaced, survived viral pneumonia and had a benign brain tumor removed eleven years ago. She is also bound to her wheelchair due to osteoporosis. Despite all her health concerns she still manages to get out for her fans, which they seem to appreciate.

Brooke Hogan recently spoke with E! channel’s Michael Yo (off-air) about her mother’s relationship with a boy man who is 29-years younger.
“I’m totally freaked out,” she admitted. “I personally don’t like it at all or condone it, but she’s my mom, so I have to show her support.”The blond youngster whom Linda has sunk her meathooks into is Charley Hill, 19 - a former classmate of Brooke and Nick’s!
“I went to school with him. He was a grade under me. Me and Nick know him well. Me and Nick are two years apart, and he was right between us.”
Brooke also confessed that she is struggling to deal with all the scandal that has been tearing her family apart.
She said, “I am just staying the course and dealing with it and supporting my family. I’m actually on my way to see Nick now. You know, I thought we were one of the normal Hollywood families. It’s crazy watching it all fall apart, but I hope for the best.”
Ok, first off. The age. I’m not usually bothered too much by age differences, but it’s obvious that Linda is trying to jump start her stale sex-life or she is trying to prove something. Most likely both. She wants to prove that she still “has it” and is still a hot commodity. I highly doubt she actually has a connection with a 19-year old. I mean, c’mon, she’s pushing 50. It’s all about the dick, baby.
And doesn’t Gnarly Charley looks like a 19-year-old Hulkster!? Kinda creepy - although not quite as creepy as Hulk dating a chick that looks like his daughter’s twin I suppose!

I sure hope so, because that would make me 21 again!
Seriously, both Madonna, who turns 50 in August, and Sharon Stone, who turned 50 this past March, look incredible for their age.
True, having money for ridiculously expensive anti-aging creams and maybe a little nip & tuck doesn’t hurt, but ultimately I think those who are the most fortunate just have good genes. These women are probably combining all of the above, but they are still great examples that older women can be spicy hot, too!

Steven Tyler Checks Into Rehab

Steven Tyler, 60, has checked into rehab for substance abuse.
He’s staying at the Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena. This is the same rehab clinic that Dr. Drew practices at and where the VH1 reality show Celebrity Rehab was filmed.
Tyler suffers from Hepatitis C and has said in the past that he is a recovering drug addict.

Former supermodel Iman has hit out at Heidi Klum saying that she has far more experience in the fashion industry, therefore she is more qualified to host ‘Project Runway‘.
Iman hosts the Canadian version of the show while Klum runs the American television series. Obviously Iman believes her toes have been stepped on and she feels the need to tell the world how fabulous she once was.
“Definitely Heidi and I come from two different places. I’m not belittling Heidi Klum, but I have been in fashion much more than she has. Not to toot my own horn, but I have been one of the best runway girls. I know clothes, and I know about working hand in hand with designers, I mean, I’ve worked with Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, John Galliano. Yves St Laurent - he created a whole collection for me. I love it. “I’m not belittling her…BUT..” You know as soon as someone says the word ‘but’, it completely negates everything they said prior to that. Iman would have been better off keeping her mouth shut, she came across as being resentful and egotistic.

Elizabeth Hurley, 42, proves she still has what it takes to model bikinis in these smoking hot photos of her modeling her swim wear line designed for Mango.
Although Hurley has sworn off wearing bikinis in the past she admits, “shooting bikinis is now my life”.
“I can’t think of anything worse in the world than another bikini shoot - and I’ve got two next month. It’s unbearable and I bring it all on myself. I’ve got nobody else to blame.”
These days she requests kind photographers and a little airbrushing to help with those problems spots. She says, “I like a certain amount of retouching like anybody.”
Well, you have to hand it to her, airbrushed or not, she’s looking fabulous in this new shoot.

William Shatner Says No To Motorcycle Protective Gear

Even though William Shatner was involved in a motorcycle accident years ago he still refuses to wear protective gear while riding his motorcycle.
“I think leather, and helmets and protective gear is foolish, in the hot California weather. I ride with sandals and shorts and a t-shirt.”
Shatner recalls laying his bike down and narrowly escaping injury.
“One time, I was driving along and the bike slide from under me, and I skidded across the two lane highway. I grabbed the bike hauled it up and got back on. I had to get to Los Angeles. I had a doll to take to my grandchild. I got back on the bike and my clothes are shredded. I realized I’m bleeding.”
He says that as he tried to collect himself people driving by recognized him and some even called out to him through their car windows.
“People are driving up and college kids are yelling at me. Finally they uttered the ultimate insult, ‘Beam me up Scotty,’ so I gave them the finger.”
The Shatner don’t take no shat.

Pamela Anderson Lands E! Reality Show

Now that Pam Anderson is done with her gig in Vegas she’s managed to score her own reality show on E!.
The show is tentatively being titled, Pamela, and it will be all about the life and times of Pammy, 40, from being a single mom to working in Hollywood.
E! executive Vice President Lisa Berger stated, “E!’s cameras capture Pam’s fabulous adventures, emotional journey and all the surprises that come along the way. It’s going to be a wild ride.”
Oh, I’m sure. Another marriage? Another disease? Another pregnancy? Anything is possible with Pam. I’m sure it will omit her staying out until 3am when she has to get her kids to school in the morning..
