Amy Winehouse's parents finally get the daughter they can be proud of, one that is drug and alcohol free. Granted since she is made of wax there isn't a whole lot more she can do, but her parents can dream of what it would be like to have a daughter they can stand next to and smile about again and not worry if she will live to see the next day.
It is good to see Amy Winehouse immortalized before she is no longer mortal.

Perhaps she spoke too soon during her concerts in Scotland and Ireland last weekend when she said her husband would be free “in 9 days,” as it seems Blake Fielder-Civil will be behind bars for awhile.
Earlier today (July 21), a judge sentenced Amy Winehouse’s incarcerated hubby to 27 months in jail stemming from charges of assault as well as obstructing justice.

Beating up a bar owner and then attempting to cover up the crime with a bribe. Yeah, don’t do that. Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil was sentenced to 27 months in jail today for his part in an attack last year that left London bar owner James King with metal plates in his face. Since he’s already been in jail since November 2007, Fielder-Civil could be released in little as five months. MTV UK says:
Judge David Radford said that Fielder-Civil admitted to being high on cocaine and alcohol when he and his friend Michael Brown attacked pub manager James King outside the Macbeth pub in a barroom fight in June 2007. They then offered King $400,000 to keep quiet about it.
During sentencing at Snaresbrook Crown Court, Judge Radford admonished Fielder-Civil, saying, “In joining in that attack by kicking out at Mr. King after he had already been both punched and kicked by Mr. Brown, you behaved in a gratuitous, cowardly and disgraceful way,” according to an AFP report on the sentencing. “It will be of little comfort to Mr. King that you did so because of your inebriation.” (Source)

Doesn’t it seem like Blake Incarcerated has been in the clink forever? This trial for perverting the course of justice- a fancy Brit phrase for witness tampering- has been dragged out for ages. Blake Incarcerated, the no-good husband of everyone’s favorite celebrity crackhead, Amy Winehouse, pled guilty to the charges months ago, but could not be sentenced until the other defendants in the case were tried as well. Earlier today, Blake was finally sentenced to 27 months in prison–and his devoted wife was nowhere to be found during the court proceedings.
Amy Winehouse’s husband was sentenced to 27 months in prison today for grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice.
Fielder-Civil had admitted beating up pub manager James King in a barroom fight in 2006 and then offering him £200,000 to keep quiet about it.
Judge David Radford told Fielder-Civil he had behaved in a ‘gratuitous, cowardly and disgraceful’ way.
Fielder-Civil has already served around nine months on remand and he could be free in four-and-a-half months if he behaves himself in prison.
Miss Winehouse was not in court today to support her husband.
Earlier, Fielder-Civil appealed to a judge to let him walk free so he could become a role model for the troubled singer.
Through his barrister, Fielder-Civil told of his love for his wife and determination that both will devote themselves to becoming clean.
Jeremy Dein QC, told Snaresbrook crown court: ‘They are very much committed to each other and their ambition is to divorce themselves from hard drugs and not separate themselves from each other.
‘Knowing the nation’s glare is upon him, Mr Fielder-Civil has every possible motive to rehabilitate himself in the way he has already shown he is fully committed to doing. He knows if he fails, an appointment with calamity awaits, not just for himself but for his wife.
‘He can now see that hard drugs are to be regarded as nothing other than a smiling assassin. He wishes now to become a role model for Miss Winehouse but he knows it would be impossible for her to alienate herself from drugs if he continues to befriend them.’
Mr Dein urged the judge to either impose a community order, a suspended sentence or a prison term of no more than 18 months, the equivalent time Fielder-Civil has served awaiting his sentence.
The court heard Fielder-Civil kicked James King on the ground as the victim was being beaten up by Michael Brown in a row over a girlfriend in June 2006.

Blake Incarcerated may be able to fool his mother into believing he is no longer using drugs, but I don’t think the judge was buying it. In fact, I like to think that when he launched into that bullshit about being a role model for Amy, the entire court burst out laughing, and maybe pelted him with some rotten eggs. That’s what I would have done.
I really hope Blake Incarcerated has to serve the full 27 months and doesn’t get credit for time served -especially since there is video of him doing drugs while in the pokey. Clearly, a little thing like prison bars hasn’t stopped him from getting access to drugs- which he purchased by selling autographed photos of his wife. And it would be even better if Winehouse continued to be a no show and decided to dump his ass to go get herself clean. But honestly, I don’t have a lot of hope on that one. Call it wishful thinking.

Amy Winehouse’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil was sentenced to more than two years in prison after beating up a bar manager then trying to pay him off so he wouldn’t say anything.
His wife did not attend his hearing.
Fielder-Civil has been in prison for nine months already, and if he behaves, he could be out in just over four months.
He tried to convince the judge to let him out so that he could go care for Amy. He claims to want to help the both of them get and stay clean.
Attorney Jeremy Dien told the courtroom,
“Knowing the nation’s glare is upon him, Mr Fielder-Civil has every possible motive to rehabilitate himself in the way he has already shown he is fully committed to doing. He knows if he fails, an appointment with calamity awaits, not just for himself but for his wife.”

The 24-year-old singer and Fielder-Civil, 26, married in Miami in May 2007. He was arrested in November and has been in jail ever since. Is Blakes’ further incarceration the best thing that could happen to Amy (whether she knows it or not) or will it lead to a complete meltdown?

She’s probably smoking hamsters or some shit. That girl always finds a way to eff up her life. We can only pray that Blake will do something stupid in jail and be sentenced for more months.

Despite numerous warnings from doctors and family members, Amy Winehouse keeps continuing along with her late night partying ways - most recently staying out until dawn on Saturday in Camden.
Wearing a blouse with Amy Civil embroidered on it, the troubled singer was spotted closing down The Monarch pub bar with a group of friends, including her ex-boyfriend Alex Jones-Donnelly.

Gone are the days of showing up hours late to gigs and stumbling through set lists incoherently! Amy Winehouse spent the weekend redeeming herself as one of the UK’s top female performers.
The “Rehab” singer delighted fans at Ireland’s Oxygen festival by showing up just a few minutes past her scheduled stage time before nailing her entire performance. She even dedicated “Wake Up Alone” to her incarcerated hubby Blake Fielder-Civil.

It not only seems Mitch Winehouse is wasting his breath but it seems to be making him ill as well. His (in)famous daughter Amy Winehouse ignored his desperate father’s please by smoking and drinking on stage just hours after he begged her to quit. The Rehab singer sang to the 80,000 strong crowd at Scotland’s T in the Park festival on Sunday while swigging alcohol and smoking.
It came just hours after her dad Mitch made an emotional plea on British TV, urging those close to his daughter to stop providing her with drugs and cigarettes. went on to ask the singer to quit tobacco because of “a small amount of emphysema in her lungs”. He also warned her death would not come from drugs, but from smoking, and told her it would be “a long, slow, painful death” in a bid to shock her into quitting all her addictions. He says, “I want people to understand - even if they give her one cigarette they’re causing her harm. “She has a small amount of emphysema in the top of her lungs. It’s negligible, but it could lead to something a lot more serious.”
Mitch, has reportedly fallen ill himself trying to cope with his wayward daughter’s problems. The stress of his daughter’s wayward lifestyle has caused him to suffer panic attacks, leading him to collapse at his London home last week.

That video was filmed the same night that some white stuff was seen in Amy Winehouse’s nose. Now it looks like we know what that white stuff was. Looks like she didn’t take the advice of her doctors to quit drugs or she will die. So sad.

Oh Amy. You just keep falling faster and faster. Amy Winehouse recently started getting physical with several men – and not in the good way. There was the fan she attacked at the Glastonbury music festival. Then a few days ago she attacked another fan on the street. Now she’s attacked her own bodyguard, punching him right in the face.
Stand back everybody - here comes Amy! Cementing her reputation as a star not to be messed with, the 24-year-old got into her third brawl in two weeks - with her own minder. Returning home from the Good Mixer, one of her regular Camden haunts, Amy hit her waiting bodyguard directly in the face last night.
And by the looks of things he felt the full force of her hand, grimacing in pain as she went in for another blow. Wearing red shorts and a 1950’s style black shirt, Amy looked glamorous but dishevelled as she entered her North London abode leaving the unlucky minder behind her.
But he can take solace in the knowledge he’s not the only one to have been on the receiving end of Amy’s temper. She was seen striking a fan outside her Camden flat, claiming he had pinched her bottom. Prior to this, the singer hit out at another fan after he touched her beehive at Glastonbury. Now, judging by the pictures last night, she is taking on her own security staff.

I’m really starting to wonder if Amy is having mental problems from all the drugs. I mean obviously a person can act that way when they’re ON drugs – but let’s say she was just drunk when this happened, but otherwise clean at the moment. Could Amy have some damage resulting from her excessive drug use? We’ve seen her drunk a million times before, but that has only led to physical altercations on very rare occasions. Then in the span of two weeks she attacks men – unprovoked – three times. Even for her, this is some pretty bizarre behavior. Two of the men were her fans. Which makes her striking them especially out of character – Amy has been pretty friendly with her admirers in the past.
About six months ago Amy’s father was talking about wanting to get her sectioned – which is similar to getting someone committed in the U.S. As hard as it is to do that here, it takes even more work to do it in the U.K. But it’s starting to seem like Amy’s doing the work for her family. I can’t imagine she can get away with much more of this before she’ll end up locked away, either in jail or an institution.

When you think of a multi-platinum recording artist you think of wealth, charm, and charisma. But Amy Winehouse is completely rewiring that stereotype.
Last night, the “Rehab” singer was spotted leaving the Good Mixer pub in London, England, the latest stop on her evening’s pub crawl. And the uber-successful singer, whose hand was all bloodied up, couldn’t seem to find the money to buy cigarettes, therefore she begged the paparazzi for a smoke.

She’s never been a big fan of rehab, but it seems that Amy Winehouse may be abandoning her preferences for the sake of finally getting healthy.
The Back to Black songstress was spotted arriving at the Stapleford Centre in South West London earlier today with a vacant expression on her face. Without delay, she proceeded to the Drugs and Alcohol specialist clinic.

What the hell is wrong with the British jail system? Do they not have security guards for this kind of shit? Oh wait- maybe all the blokes there get free drugs when on best behavior. There are some pictures released of Blake smoking heroin from his cell. What the eff?!! A prison source has stated:
“Blake takes heroin whenever he can get hold of it. His claims to be clean are a fallacy and it is obvious he remains dependent. There is nothing to suggest he won’t carry on when he’s outside and back with Amy. If she takes him back into her life when she is trying to get clean it will be a recipe for disaster.”
Well I doubt we’ll have to worry about him getting out of jail since he’ll probably have to spend more time due to this fiasco. It’s only a matter of time until Amy is in jail…shooting up on heroin with him.

With her wedding ring nowhere to be seen, Amy Winehouse had yet another eventful weekend that ended with a cab ride home with a new mystery man.
The long day out all started with the trouble Grammy-winning singer leaving her house with a minder and heading to the Jewish shopping area of London, Golders Green.

Amy Winehouse escaped her home to perform at the Rock in Rio music festival yesterday. Amy’s record label was more then happy to let her out of her “virtual prison” to perform her third concert in a week. By most accounts Amy reportedly sang well – but she openly drank red wine throughout her performance and appeared unsteady on her feet (which is not unusual for Amy). Once finished at Rock in Rio, she did not stay for an encore and was whisked away from the outdoor concert venue by helicopter, hopefully to be locked away for her own good. I say this because it’s pretty apparent that Winehouse is ‘not so slowly’ killing herself. It’s gotten so bad that there’s a new website on the web that has been set up to allow people to guess when Amy will die (I am purposely not including a link). The winner gets an iPod or something. I don’t know if it’s meant to be funny, but it I think it reflects how bad things have gotten!

Losing the struggle to keep Amy Winhouse clean, her family has turned to her record label’s people to get the beehived one to change her ways!
Winehouse’s label bosses have reportedly put their prized star on round-the-clock watch at her home in a last-ditch attempt to get her to clean up her act. The Rehab hitmaker was discharged from a London clinic on Monday this week after collapsing at her home earlier last month. She was subsequently diagnosed with traces of potentially deadly lung disease emphysema. nd, in a desperate attempt to keep her clean of drugs, executives at her music label Island Records have allegedly put her under the watchful eye of a full-time security guard.
An insider says, “There is also a security guard stationed outside her house around the clock to vet any undesirables. From now on there’ll be no more waifs and strays - or fans - coming into her place, wreaking havoc. Crucially, they don’t want known drug dealers coming anywhere near her. Amy has to give them names of people expected. Anyone who turns up uninvited will be sent packing. It’s for her own good.”
We have serious doubts, but we hope this works! The troubled singer was spotted enjoying a night out in London just hours after she was discharged from the hospital Tuesday night. Despite receiving continued treatment as an outpatient, Amy was seen hitting her regular drinking haunts in Camden, London - heading to a local bar until the early hours of Tuesday morning. Nobody can help our protect Amy if she isn’t willing to help herself!

Now Magazine is reporting that Amy’s record label has put her on house-arrest! Wtf, is that even possible? In addition, the label hired security to make sure that junkies won’t try to sell her shit. It does seem like a good plan because this will keep Amy in line. But on the other hand she could go nuts and break the deal with her record label meaning she would never sing again, causing massive sadness in my heart. The source for the magazine stated:

No matter how many times she ends up at rock bottom, Amy Winehouse always seems to get back up and continue her wacky ways. And last night was just another example of her penchant for madness.
The “Rehab” singer received a visit from some friends at her Camden London home early in the evening as she was meeting and greeting some of her fans outside.

Kanye West never fails to surprise.
Women’s Wear Daily was able to catch the scoop on Kanye West teaming up with Louis Vuitton to design a line of men’s and women’s shoes. How cool is that? I want to snatch a pair of those shoes!!! I’m pretty sure that his line will be Grade A because he’s teamed up with the most amazing artist in the world: Takashi Murakami!!! Takashi probably gave Kanye a few tips when working with LV since Takashi has already worked with them. Kanye also has a jewelry line and is designing his own clothing line (coming out this November).
I wonder if Kanye will send Amy Winehouse some samples of his clothing line!!!

After her interesting performance at Glastonbury where she smacked a fan while singing Rehab, Amy Winehouse checked back into the clinic where she had been receiving treatment the past two weeks.
Then last night she checked back out.
To celebrate, she hit the streets of London for a night of partying and (most likely) getting geeked out of her head. The junkie soul singer was out until 4:30am.
A source told The Sun, “We feared a taste of the outside would remind her what she’s missing and it would be hard to get her back into life at the clinic. That’s exactly what’s happened. Sunday was like she was on a terrible comedown from the whole thing.”
Amy’s spokesperson said that Amy is currently receiving outpatient care.

It was a familiar scene last night outside of Amy Winehouse’s Camden London home. The troubled singer was spotted by the paparazzi randomly going for a walk.

Amy Winehouse checked herself back in to hospital after her Glastonbury appearance, but barely 24 hours later she wanted out again according to The Sun.
The pal said: “Sunday was like she was on a terrible comedown from the whole thing. She kicked off and threw all her toys out the pram.
“She told Mitch, ‘I’m climbing the walls in here. I need to get out’. She said if he didn’t help her get out she’d walk out.
“He realised he had to let her leave, otherwise he’d have no control over where she goes and what she gets up to.”
The pal added: “He’s with her and keeping and eye on her, but he’s beside himself.
“Everyone is gutted as she’d been doing so well and hasn’t touched any drugs for two weeks. But now she’s out we fear it will all go downhill.”
How many more nights like this can she take? Sadly I don't think that many more.
BTW I could not understand why her management and her family let her out the first time to perform, but also according to the paper.
The pal added: “Doctors said we should let her do the shows because performing is what she lives for. We can’t take that away.
WTF? Have her perform to sick children in the hospital, don't let her out to a festival full of drugs. Her dad needs to get her to The Betty Ford Clinic where they won't take her crap and get her the help she so desperately needs.

Troubled soul singer Amy Winehouse has been released from the hospital in London after doctors let her go home. Unfortunately her stay was not long enough to get her off her crack addiction! It’s not really clear but speculation is Amy demanded her release after performing concerts this weekend and doctors had no choice but to release her.
Winehouse was admitted to a London clinic after collapsing at her home June 16th. She was subsequently diagnosed with the first stages of the deadly lung disease emphysema.
Amy left the clinic this weekend to perform at a London tribute cencert to Nelson Mandela on Friday and at U.K. music festival Glastonbury on Saturday night, returning to the hospital on Sunday.
But the troubled star was subsequently released on Monday but supposedly will continue treatment at the clinic as an outpatient.
Winehouse plans on keeping her forthcoming performing commitments, with the next date for her is the Oxegen festival, July 12th; and other dates including Bestival in September. The idea according to her rep is to book lots of one-off dates that she can enjoy doing this summer. “She loves performing.”
Meanwhile Amy’s jailed husband BLAAAKE has been accused of writing a series of explicit letters to another (female) inmate.
Blake Fielder-Civil is on remand awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice in relation to an attack on a pub landlord last year.
The British tabloid newspaper the UK Sun has printed extracts from letters, reportedly written by the 25-year-old Blake Fielder-Civil to another prisoner, known only as Melissa.
The published letters, detail explicit sexual fantasies, his life in prison and even mention Fielder-Civil’s famous wife.
One extract reads, “I’ve told Amy about you and read a bit of one of your letters. I don’t want her to know about all the personal things I’ve written to you. Only a few weeks left, baby, we’ll have a night on our own in a hotel somewhere, blazing and drinking and some twisted, hot, sexy things.”
