It seemed little Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern/Birkhead had just been born when her mother, Anna Nicole Smith, died in her hotel room in Florida under bizarre circumstances. The drama that ensued was every gossip monger’s dream: questionable post mortem photos, certifiable mother, disputed paternity, crazy fake-prince public statements. You couldn’t have made that $%*@ up!But looking at the face gracing the cover of this week’s Us Weekly, it all seems like a really bad, really old TV movie. Dannielynn, who recently had surgery to correct strabismus (a condition where one eye tends to move inward), turned 2 years old on September 7 and is just as much a cover girl as her mother was! While it’s obvious who her father is, there is just no disputing Dannielynn is her mama’s mini-me.
“On Dannielynn’s second birthday, Larry Birkhead opens up in the latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now, about raising Anna Nicole Smith’s little girl and shares with Us his own family album of their time together.
“When I take pictures of her she likes looking at them just like her mom did,” Birkhead tells Us.
“Some days I think she looks just like her,” he says of the tot, who who turned 2 on Sept. 7.”

Dannielynn is gorgeous and if these pictures are any indication, she could easily follow in her mother’s modeling footsteps. We just all have to send up a prayer that that’s as far down that path as she’ll go.
Like him or not Larry Birkhead seems to be doing a pretty damn good job of raising Dannielynn. She’s always smiling and looks like she loves being with her dad. You also have to give credit where credit is due to Birkhead. While he’s received some money in exchange for doing press with Dannielynn, he’s also moved back to Kentucky to be near his family and ensure that his daughter has a normal life. I would say the last person in this world who actually loved Vicki Lynn Hogan for Vicki Lynn Hogan is making sure her daughter knows it, too.

Larry Birkhead Buys Dannielynn her mothers’ lingerie

For his own strange reason Larry Birkhead decided to buy his daughter Dannielynn Hope, lingerie that belonged to her dead mother. Larry spent $3,000 of Danni’s money on lingerie worn by Anna Nicole Smith during a Playboy shoot.
Birkhead told AP that he bought the lingerie for his 1-year-old daughter to remember her mother by, “I have a lot of history I have to put together that she doesn’t really know about. Playboy was such a big part of Anna’s career.”
“You know, it’s not something I can show today, but something down the road. It’s not going to be in any bedtime stories anytime soon.”
Birkhead bought a pink bustier for $1,800 and a white negligee for $1,000 at the auction, run by Julien’s Auctions and held at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. And perhaps until Dannielynn is old enough, Larry can play a little dress up on the side.

This photograph was taken around 1994 in the parking lot of the old Barfly on Sunset Blvd. Pictured with Anna is one half of Buzz Foto! Well, we were kind of talked into posting this picture, but it is all great fun. We actually had not seen it in years and just received it from our pal paparazzo, Dave Keeler.
Back then, we had another photo agency at the time, Online USA which we eventually sold to Getty Images. Anna was a friend of ours and we met her via our pal Christian Audigier. This was years before Ed Hardy or Von Dutch.
Anna was incredibly warm and kind and had a wonderful quality about her where she could really make you welcome to hang with her. She did not care where you came from or what you had in your pocket.
Look at the size of our cell phone back then! Thank you Dave! You are the best!

She's suing mad!
Anna Nicole Smith's momma, Virgie Arthur, is out to get some Texan bloggers and TMZ for spreadin' falsehoods ’bout her on the internet which, she claims, dirtied up her reputation and lost her the rights to be the legal caretaker of granddaughter heiress, Dannielynn.
Virgie filed a complaint against said parties in a Texas state court on Monday.
Arthur's complaint stems from a story titled Virgie Has Son with Her Stepbrother posted last April on TMZ. The story implies that the couple were stepsiblings prior to their relationship, said Arthur's lawyer.
TMZ and their lawyers did not comment on the suit.
Lyndal Harrington, one of the Texan bloggers targeted by Virgie says she was shocked to hear about the lawsuit and that it's been "hard to find an attorney to stand up for (her) First Amendment rights."
Aren't there public defenders in Texas who can help the bloggers out?!! Hmm. On second thought, maybe you only get a public defender if you do something crazy like armed robbery.

Baby Dannielynn has been named the sole heir to the late Anna Nicole Smith’s estate, a Los Angeles judge ruled in court proceedings held earlier today (March 4).
According to press reports, “In court papers filed in Superior Court Oct. 18, 2007, Howard K. Stern, the executor of Smith’s estate, sought to clarify Smith’s intentions in her July 2001 will, drafted five years before Dannielynn Hope’s September 2006 birth.”

Anna Nicole’s former bodyguard, Big Moe, recently sat down with Access Hollywood and had some interesting things to say about Larry Birkhead.
Big Moe claims that Anna Nicole viewed Birkhead as an ideal sperm donor because of his looks:
“Because of how Larry looked, she figured, oh my child would look great,” Big Moe told Access Hollywood’s Tony Potts. “Blonde hair, blue eyes, you know, ‘Go great with me and my baby will come out beautiful.’”
“So basically, from what she told you and what you’re telling me is that Anna looked at Larry as a sperm donor to get a really beautiful child?” Tony asked.
“That’s it,” Big Moe said.
Big Moe also added fuel to the gay rumors surrounding Birkhead, which he has vehemently denied. According to Big Moe, Anna told him that due to Birkhead’s “lifestyle” there would be no strings attached:
“What’s his lifestyle?” Tony asked.
“Well, she told me that, you know, he was a homosexual,” Big Moe said. “She knew deep down that he didn’t want to be with her.”
Is Birkhead hiding something? Stories do keep coming up doubting his sexual orientation. Rita Cosby claimed in her Anna Nicole Smith book that Howard K. Stern and Birkhead were gay lovers. The National Enquirer claimed Kerrick Ross — a handsome male model carried on a torrid two-month sexual affair with Birkhead.

Whether you loved her or you hated her, one thing is for certain. You will never forget Anna Nicole Smith.
It was one year ago today that Anna Nicole died.
The obnoxious, chemically and surgically enhanced blonde bimbo had finally made her comeback. She was thin again, which led to more work, endorsements and appearances.
Then she had a baby girl and was set to wed Howard K. Stern. Although the situation was weird, it was better than her exposing her breasts or being carried offstage during an awards show. .
Shortly after, her son Daniel died. And the rest is history.
Tragic? Yes. Shocking? Not really. But we miss Anna. She was colorful and loud. She was like a train wreck that you just couldn’t help gawking at. You were always guaranteed a show..

Today is the first anniversary of the passing of larger-than-life personality, Anna Nicole Smith. Unsurprisingly, Larry Birkhead is taking this opportunity to do some interviews and chatted with People magazine about how he hopes to keep Anna's spirit alive for little Dannielynn. Birkhead revealed, "We have a granite piece of tile with Anna's picture on it, and she crawls to it and she kisses it and says, 'Momma!' and she points to her momma."

Howard Stern Took Pictures Of Daniel Smith After He Died

Did you know the inquest into the death of Anna Nicole Smith’s son is still going on? We didn’t either, but Wednesday we got a new shocking accusation from the South Carolina developer G. Ben Thompson that Anna was involved with. He claims that Howard K. Stern tok photos of Daniel Smith after he died saying they pictures “might be worth some money one day.”
“I was totally shocked he was taking pictures of a dead child laying in that bed,” Thompson, who briefly dated Anna Nicole, told lawyers for Daniel’s grandmother, Virgie Arthur. Thompson’s son also testified today, alleging that Howard got rid of two white pills found in Daniel’s clothes after his collapse. Autopsy reports state that the 20-year-old died of an overdose.

California authorities searched six locations, including pharmacies and the homes and offices of two doctors, on Friday in connection with the sudden death of Anna Nicole Smith last February in a Florida hotel room.The searches, in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, are related to drugs prescribed for or medical care provided to Ms. Smith, a former Playboy model, or those close to her before she died on Feb. 8 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Fla.
At a news conference in Los Angeles on Friday, California’s attorney general, Jerry Brown, said no arrests had been made. The searches, Mr. Brown said, grew out of an investigation into Ms. Smith’s death that was begun on March 30 by the Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement in the California Department of Justice. The inquiry, he said, included “the prescribing and dispensing practices of several California-licensed doctors and pharmacies.” He would not identify them.
The Associated Press reported that Ellyn Garafalo, a lawyer for Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, who had prescribed methadone to Ms. Smith shortly before she died, confirmed that the doctor’s home and offices were among those raided. Ms. Garafalo would not comment further.
Agents from the California Department of Justice answered the door at the office of a psychiatrist who treated Ms. Smith, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, but would not say why they were there. A spokesman for the department had no comment.
An autopsy performed in Florida found that Ms. Smith, 39, died of an accidental overdose of methadone, antibiotics, anti-anxiety medication and other drugs, all of which had been prescribed.
At the time of her death, Ms. Smith was still mourning her son, Daniel, 20, who died from a drug overdose last September, days after his mother gave birth to a daughter, Dannielynn.

Dr. Khristine Eroshevich is the psychiatrist who was treating Anna Nicole Smith before her untimely death early this year and has been under investigation as a result of Smith's passing, which was caused by a drug overdose. And today, California Dept. of Justice agents escalated their investigation by raiding Eroshevich's home in Studio City, CA. "There were about six cars and some men walking around with ... guns," a neighbor who lives on the street tells PEOPLE.
Eleven medical prescriptions were found in Anna's hotel room in Florida on the day of her death and it was Eroshevich who had given authorization for each. According to CNN, Howard K. Stern, Smith's lawyer/companion was at the home at the time of the raid, and the excuse that he gave was that he was picking up his dogs that had been staying at the house. Does this doctor also run a kennel? This is so random. No arrests have been made at this time, but I think the next step is for someone to give those poor dogs some drug tests.

The California attorney general requested several search warrants on Friday in relation to the death of Anna Nicole Smith.
Among the 8 search warrants, authorities searched the home of Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, Smith’s psychiatrist, who is widely rumored to have over-prescribed lots of meds to the buxom blonde.
Attorney General Jerry Brown says they requested the search warrants because he believes “a serious crime has been committed.”
He told reporters that “playing with dangerous drugs” can result in death and “prescribing drugs illegally is a crime,” and he suggested people should “put it together.”
At the time of her death, there were ELEVEN prescription drugs found in Anna Nicole Smith’s hotel room.
She was a traveling pharmacy!

First off, we’re publishing these photos with extreme trepidation. Hence the whole warning in the title. It’s pretty hard to keep photos of dead celebrities private for long anymore. Most of them eventually get leaked through the internet. Possible morgue shots of Anna Nicole Smith were leaked in March, but it seems that we might have a photo of Anna either right before or right after she died in her hotel room. It’s hard to know who would take a photo like this – could this be from someone in Anna’s inner circle, an EMS person, or cops? There was so much going on at the time, and it’s impossible to know.
I will note that I’ve seen a lot of dead bodies before (no I’m not gross, I have a criminology degree so it happens) and if this is real, it’s one of the cleanest shots I’ve ever seen. To me it’s really hard to tell if Anna Nicole has just died or is just about to die – or if this was possibly taken hours or even days before her death, as it was well-documented that Anna had been sick for several days. Considering the lack of support behind her head, I would expect that if she were actually dead, her neck would be leaning backwards, forwards, or flopped to the side - not held up like it is. Rigor mortis wouldn’t have time to set in the (reportedly) brief time Anna was alone before the paramedics were called. Even if it had, her neck muscles would have first relaxed from that position, resulting in her head leaning in some direction.

So today, nearly all of the celeb mags are breathlessly reporting the nastiest coupling we've come across: Anna Nicole Smith's baby-daddy Larry Birkhead and her attorney and semi-husband Howard K. Stern were, according to that strumpet Rita Cosby's new book, totally doing it! And struck a backroom deal, and there's a sex tape, and oh my God, gross. Now, a lot of people are understandably skeptical about this; for one thing, if there really was a sex tape, don't you think it would have come out by now? (Also: Gah!) We're going to come down on the side of there not only definitely being a deal between Larry and Howard—and also the side of Larry being much more of a slime than his carefully edited image would have us believe—but also the side of Howard and Larry totally doing it. Hear us out.
For one thing, there's the simple fact of, which other women have you ever seen either of them with? Also, Anna Nicole was notoriously distrustful of men, and in the last few years had surrounded herself solely with gays. OK! alleges that she chose Larry to be the father of her daughter because he was blond and blue-eyed (like her!)—and gay. Remember all that stuff in her diaries about hating sex? Mmmhmm. It's all coming together now, isn't it? (There was also her totally dykey assistant. Remember her?)
Then there's also the fact that neither Howard nor Larry has actually come out and denied being gay. There's been a lot of mumbling about "these allegations" being unfounded and so on, but if they don't like dudes, it seems a little odd that they've never been just like, "What? No."

The Anna Nicole Tape Howard K. Stern Doesn’t Want You To See!

Howard K. Stern has won a legal battle against a plastic surgeon that is attempting to sell video of the late Anna Nicole Smith getting her boobs done!
On Friday, Stern was granted a restraining order against Dr. Gerald Wayne Johnson, the Texas doctor that performed the breast augmentation surgery on Smith in 1994.
Stern alleges that the now-retired plastic surgery videotaped Smith’s boob job without her consent, violating several state and federal laws.
The injunction last Friday, signed by Judge Mitchell L. Beckloff in L.A. County Superior Court, prevents the defendants from “selling, distributing or otherwise disseminating, in any matter of media whatsoever, the Videotape(s) at issue” and orders the original VHS tape and all copies to be returned to Stern.
Hey, speaking of Anna, isn’t it time for Larry Birkhead to sell some new pics or videotape of Dannilynne????
