Treating his wife to a post-birthday afternoon, Pete Wentz escorted Ashlee Simpson to the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Saturday afternoon (October 4).
Showing off her ready-to-pop baby bump, Ashlee, who turned 24-years-old of Friday, and Pete were reportedly there to go to see the musical production “Wicked”.
With only a month to go until their baby is born (the expected due date is sometime in November), Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are enjoying their last days before parenthood.
And last night, they were spotted enjoying the festivities at Gen Art’s 6th Annual Fresh Faces in Fashion at Chase Promenade in Chicago, where the “Fall Out Boy” stud played host.
Ashlee Simpson is really embracing her role as a hot rocker mom! The singer stepped out in an all black outfit yesterday, complete with a suede Stuart Weitzman fringe hobo bag. The younger Simpson sister was spotted out and about after swinging by the CBS lot in Hollywood to watch her sister Jessica perform on Dancing With The Stars.

The “Little Miss Obsessive” songstress was spotted out and about in Century City, California paying a visit to her doctor at the Century City Medical Plaza.
While hubby Pete was busy running around Los Angeles in her clothes yesterday, Ashlee went to the hospital, presumably for a checkup. We hope everything is ok with the soon-to-be rocker mom!

She's getting so big!
With his Mac Book in hand, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz was spotted out in Los Angeles as he made his way to the studio earlier today (September 9).
And it seems as if life couldn’t be better for Wentz and his “Outta My Head” singing wife, Ashlee Simpson - with the two taking a break from preparing for parenthood to make an appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night.
Pete Wentz quashed rumors that he and wife Ashlee Simpson are expecting twins at yesterday’s MTV VMAs.
At the awards show he told Us magazine,
“It’s going to be a big disappointment when it’s only one!”
Wentz mistakenly referred the unborn child as “them” during a radio interview a few months back. He later stated that he had fudged up the facts.
“[I was] waaaaay wrong. I totally misspoke ’cause we dunno if it’s a boy or girl. I try to speak vaguely, and I totally blew it on this one.”
Ashlee is due at the end of October.

Jessica and Ashlee Simpson met up at Beso last night for a little sisterly supper (with their buddy Ken Paves tagging along for fun). Sadly, Ashlee wasn't feeling too friendly, sneaking back to her car after dinner without so much as a smile or a word for the paps. Fortunately, Jessica was more than willing to play herself up for the cameras - in fact, when we asked about her QB beau moving into a house down in Texas without her, she slyly shot back "Who says I don't live in Texas?"
Of course, Jessica had plenty to smile about last night - after all, she's got a new album coming out in less than a week! Jess was even sweet enough to blast a track from her new record while waiting to pull out of the parking lot - sounds like a winner to us!

Ashlee Simpson wants us all to know she’s happy being pregnant, and isn’t worried about her weight. Which means she’s either very lucky, or is fibbing. She addressed rumors of excessive pregnancy weight gain on her official myspace blog, titled ‘My size 0 jeans…by Ashlee SImpson-Wentz’.
Today I read on a blog that I went to the doctor and he said I was overweight and I cried and went to Planet Blue (because I was blue) and bought 6 pair of size 0 jeans. Now it is ridiculous to read such nonsense about oneself so I thought I would address this one…
1. My doctor says I am right on target with my weight gain
2. Have not been to Planet Blue in at least two years
3. Love my maternity jeans ..they have stretchy tops it is awesome!
4. My closet full of size 0’s are being worn by Pete right now and he looks hot in them
So now that I have cleared that up let me tell you…carrying a child is the most inspiring, emotional, amazing experience of my life. My weight and my pant size are the absolute last thing I am concerned about. I am only concerned with having a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. People who talk and judge pregnant women’s weight need to get a life!!!

Ashlee must still be in the phase of pregnancy where you’re looking comfortably rounded, and everyone smiles at your belly, and the baby is just starting to kick and move and it’s absolutely magical.
For most of us, this is rapidly followed by the final stage of pregnancy weight gain, where you are so large you can only assume you still have feet, and you believe you’ll never be human sized again, let alone thin. You rail against the state of reproduction that forces you to carry your gestating offspring for 40 weeks, and want to pummel anyone who makes the inevitable comment about how elephants gestate for 22months.
Or maybe that was just me?
Ashlee told ET last week that she is busily preparing for motherhood, getting together a nursery and picking names. Pete says that he and Ashlee have not asked the sex of the baby, so they’ve probably got a size 000 collection of black hoodies and skinny leg jeans ready for him/her.

Ashlee Simpson gained too much weight
Ashlee Simpson was left devastated after a recent doctor’s appointment when she was told she’s gained too much weight during her pregnancy. The singer’s been stocking up on size zero jeans to help motivate her to lose the baby weight after she gives birth. A source told Star:
“Ashlee broke down in tears at a doctor’s appointment in early August when she found out she’s gained more weight than is considered in the healthy range . . . She can’t wear [the jeans] now, but she hopes it will give her the incentive to watch what she eats.” (Source)
There’s only one diet secret guaranteed to help Ashlee immediately lose her unwanted pounds. It’s as effective as it is painful. Of course I’m talking about an “accidental” fall down the stairs. Recommended by 9 out of 10 dentists!
After confirming her pregnancy back in May, mommy-to-be Ashlee Simpson’s baby belly is continuing to grow as she and her rocker hubby Pete Wentz have been busy preparing their home for their new addition.
During a recent interview while promoting Request clothing line in Canada, Simpson told press: “We’re getting the nursery ready, I can’t wait to be a mom and he can’t wait to be a dad, so it’s fun. I have the greatest husband.”
Acting as spokeswoman for the relaunched Request clothing line, Ashlee Simpson made an in-store appearance on Saturday at a Zellers location in Mississuaga.

According to Star magazine, Audrina Patridge got with Ryan Cabrera - while he was still seeing Ashlee Simpson!
The mag reports that Ryan reunited with Ashlee after a brief split in late 2005, but around the same time, Ryan and Audrina met...and ended up being way more than just friends!
A source for the mag reveals that Ryan threw a bash at his house one night, and Audrina showed up and never left. The next morning, one of his guests opened Ryan's bedroom door and "found him and Audrina dead asleep, lying next to each other in bed, with the covers barely covering their naked bodies!" Scandalous!!!

The new mommy and the mother-to-be were spotted enjoying an afternoon of shoe shopping at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills before heading out into the residential areas to do a little house hunting.

After indulging a Chinese food craving earlier in the week, mom-to-be Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz reportedly head to a doctor’s appointment in Beverly Hills Thursday.
Ashlee Simpson is gaining all her weight in her waist and tits. If only every woman were this lucky.
Pete Wentz is going to be one hell of a frightening father. I mean he’s going to rival early Britney Spears in terms of parenting. And the kid’s got Ashlee Simpson for a mother. Pete thinks it would be totally awesome and a heck of a lot of fun to bring his baby on tour with his band Fall Out Boy. Because what’s better for a little, impressionable kid who can easily pick up both germs and bad language than spending its formative years touring with a quasi-rock band?
Their baby isn’t due for several months, but Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz are already planning to bring the little one on tour. “I think it would be a really awesome environment for kids,” Pete, 29, tells In Touch. “Bringing a kid along would be cool.”
And he probably won’t get an argument from his wife — Ashlee, 23, was singing along backstage when Fall Out Boy performed at Victoria’s Secret Pinkapalooza in LA on July 17. “Pete came over and sang to her belly after their set,” an onlooker says. “They were so cute.” Lead singer Patrick Stump gives his approval, too! “He’ll be a fun dad,” Patrick says. “I’m most excited about meeting the baby,” Pete tells In Touch.

Wow, that really would be an awesome environment for kids. You know what else would be a great environment in which to raise kids? The circus. Running and jumping through those circles of fire? That’s the best. Maybe Pete can convince Fall Out Boy to do a circus-based tour, and combine those two really awesome environments for kids. I hear the zoo is also a really great place to raise kids. Particularly the tiger cage.
What do you think the odds are that Pete and Ashlee’s kid will end up without some significant loud (bad) music related hearing loss by the age of one? Frankly that’s probably the best case scenario. My mind boggles at the shear amount of obstacles this child will have to overcome in order to survive to the age of seven.

Ashlee Simpson was looking summery and cool when we saw her out yesterday, sporting a pretty white dress and a comfy pair of sandals. The mommy-to-be had lunch with friends at Chin Chen Restaurant in Studio City, California, sans her hubby Pete. Ashlee held tightly to a friend’s hand as she was escorted out of the building. No sign of Ashlee’s baby bump, but the dress was a billowy one.
