Mary J. Blige took steroids?

An investigation undertaken by Albany, New York law enforcement officials has uncovered a number of high profile celebrities linked to steroid trafficking. 50 Cent, Timbaland, Wyclef Jean, and Mary J. Blige have all been linked to an Albany doctor recently sentenced to prison for “rubber stamping” hundreds of drug prescriptions for patients she never met. Between August 2005 and January 2007 Blige allegedly received multiple shipments of Jentropin (a human growth hormone [HGH]) and Oxandrolone (an anabolic steroid). The singer’s spokesman said today:

“Mary J. Blige has never taken any performance enhancing illegal steroids.” (Source)

I knew it. You don’t win eight Billboard Music Awards in one year (2006) without a little “help” if you catch my drift. I better unload all my Blige rookie cards while they’re still worth something. Mint condition!

Hip Hop Diva, Mary J. Blige, is looking all retro-glam for her performance at the General Motors Style event in Detroit. I'm especially enjoying what looks like some high-waisted, iridescent jeans cinched with a thick, brown belt that almost looks as thick as a wrestling championship belt. It might be no coincidence then to find out that Mary has been named in a shocking report about illegal steroid use among celebrities.

Her rep told the New York Daily News, "Mary J. Blige has never taken any performance-enhancing illegal steroids." The list of celebrities in the report include producer Timbaland, 50 Cent, Tyler Perry and Wyclef Jean, all of whom have allegedly received prescriptions for the drugs using fake names. This is so weird. I'd expect this from Chyna Doll, but Mary...?

Good! Someone had to! That big sissy has been murdering my senses for far too long now! The boyfriend thinks he's hot shit and all angelic-voiced but I think I'd rather listen to Paris Hilton without studio effects than that caterwauling and vocal gymnastic show-off bullshit. Ms. J. Bligh (looking tremendous here) has kicked Groban's lanky ass off the top of the Billboard pop charts. Her new album, "Growing Pains", has taken the #1 spot over. Groban was on there for five torturous weeks. This is Mary's fourth time topping the charts. She's "the queen of hip-hop soul" for a reason! Doesn't she seem like someone who takes no bullshit and would give you good advice on how to deal with life? I bet she has something to say on men, money, and family. And it would all come from the heart. "No More Drama" indeed, she's lived through it! We love you, Mary! And don't even get me started about when she's throwing shrimp in that "Family Affair" video. Glamour!

I feel like this photo narrowly avoided being a "Caption It." These two look like they might burst out into a rendition of "Ebony and Ivory" at any given point in time. Either that or "Push It". What's the occasion for busting out the floor-length fur, you might be asking? Well, Ms. Patti LaBelle turned up for Mary J. Blige's CD release party for her 8th album, "Growing Pains," at the Soho Grand in New York. I wonder if the ladies actually sat down and coordinated this look, if not, then thats some serious synergy. I'm guessing that they had to check those things before they could really enjoy themselves at the danceree, which was sure to ensue later in the evening. Nobody likes to be sweating whilst percolatin'.

Mary J. Blige Has Been Experiencing "Growing Pains"

Mary J. Blige recently hit up BET's 106 and Park for a performance of music from her new album, "Growing Pains." And interestingly enough, with an album title that reminds me of one of my favorite 80s sitcoms, it looks like Mary's sporting some retro-looking Mom jeans here. While the jeans are a bit high for my taste, I've learned that it's best not to question Mary and to simply trust her instincts. And the bob she's rocking seems to be catching on at the moment, with Katie Holmes busting it out recently as well. On the album, it's clear that even though Mary resolved almost seven years ago to leave the drama behind, it's managed to catch up with her. The result is a mix of hip-hop and R&B that cautions the listener about the pitfalls of love. Make sure to to check out these pictures of Mary rocking out on stage because her facial expressions are awesome.
