All of you Brad Pitt fans should be sure to tune into the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” for an interview with the “Fight Club” stud via satellite from the Lower Ninth Ward in New Orleans.
During the course of the conversation, Ellen reportedly laments that she hasn’t been able to catch George Clooney, telling Brad, “We need George Clooney.”
Sarah Larson was given a huge promotion from cocktail waitress and sometimes stripper to girlfriend to the most eligible bachelor in the world for nearly a year. One would think that she was on easy street that whole 12 months, and one would be right, unless one were Sarah Larson herself. According to Larson, being George Clooney’s girlfriend is “stressful.”
Sarah Larson split from the ‘Burn After Reading’ star earlier this year after an almost 12-month relationship, but has admitted she felt extremely self-conscious whenever they went out in public together.
Asked how it felt to have dated the “sexiest man alive”, Sarah said: “No pressure. It was a little nerve-wracking because you know, everybody loves George, and so, to be in the public eye like that, it was a little bit stressful.
“It’s a lot to take in. I think I just went like a deer in the headlights. At times, I didn’t know what to do.”

When you’re way out of your league, and you know it, it’s always stressful. Even if you’re good at covering it up, when you go from serving watered down drinks to slot players in a casino to accompanying one of the most famous and adored actors in the world to the Oscars, you’re going to feel how much you don’t belong there.
Sarah still won’t say who broke up with whom, which means he broke up with her, and she won’t say why, which could mean any number of embarrassing things for her but doesn’t necessarily mean it was her fault. But she does say it happened quickly and that she and Clooney no longer speak to each other.
In some wise words some others could probably take to practice, Sarah said, “It was quick. You know, break-ups are difficult, but people, you know, we move on, go onto other things. I haven’t spoken with him in a very long time. Not necessarily that there’s hard feelings but we just haven’t. When you break-up, it’s difficult but you move on.”
I’m sure Sarah was really hoping to parlay her busted relationship into more celebrity opportunities, and it hasn’t panned out for her. It’s nice to hear, though, that she’s not hanging on to something long dead and gone and isn’t desperately clinging to any vestige of communication with George. Sounds like the best possible course of action for her.

A very hairy George Clooney was spotted displaying his athletic prowess during a game of basketball on the set of the new movie “Men Who Stare at Goats” in New Mexico on Wednesday (November 19).
Showing off his skills, the former “ER” hunk played some pick-up ball with the crew during a break from filming, which is taking place at the New Mexico Military institute in Roswell.
Salma Hayek settles into recurring TV Role
Salma Hayek has landed a juicy role on another Thursday-night series. Hayek has been confirmed for a recurring role on NBC’s Emmy-winning 30 Rock, (on set above with baby Valentina and Alec Baldwin) playing no less than former GE exec Jack Donaghy’s new love interest. Hayek says in a statement:
“I have been a fan of [30 Rock exec producer] Tina [Fey]’s talent, both as an actress and a writer, since working with her years ago on SNL.” ” I am so excited to be part of such an intelligent, funny show, as well as working with the brilliant Alec Baldwin and the rest of the cast of 30 Rock.”
Hayek produces and once guest-starred on ABC’s Ugly Betty.

Men Who Stare at Goats
The cast coming together for “Men Who Stare at Goats,” based on the book by Jon Ronson. The Iraq-set movie centers on a desperate reporter (McGregor) who stumbles upon the story of a lifetime when he meets a man (George Clooney) who claims to be a former secret U.S. military psychic soldier. Rebecca Mader, best known for playing scheming redhead Charlotte on ABC’s “Lost,” is in final negotiations to play Ewan McGregor’s wife. Clooney’s business partner Grant Heslov will direct, and will produce with the actor.
This was bound to happen. As we recently mentioned, Johnny Depp landed the ’sidekick’ role of Tonto in a new Jerry Bruckheimer remake of ‘the Lone Ranger.’ The fictional cowboy was invented for radio in the 1930s but is best known from the long-running 1950s TV serial, when he was played by Clayton Moore. The British tabloid The UK Sun claims that non other then George Clooney will play the Lone Ranger. Although the tabloid sounds pretty sure of this casting scoop, it’s also the typical ploy to speculate on high profile roles before they have been announced. Plus Clooney seems to cringe when anyone brings up his turn as Batman, so one wonders if he would play a masked super hero again. But an insider tells the tabloid: “George is very keen — he’s been trying to do a movie with Johnny for a long time.”
So there's been a lot written about George Clooney and "will he" or "won't he" (OK, most of the stuff has said he won't) return for an episode in the final season of "ER."
But lo and behold... it seems no one has even asked George if he wants to be on the show. Clooney tells Entertainment Tonight, "I've never been asked or approached by anyone from the show about doing an episode of ER."

Star Magazine must be making deals with a lot of celebrity publicists because they’ve sure been scoring the A-list interviews lately. A few weeks ago they seemed to have one of the first interviews with Jennifer Aniston in years. Their most recent issue features an original interview with George Clooney. Interviews with Clooney are a dime a dozen but still remain fun as anything to read. The 47 year-old star is promoting his new Coen brothers film, Burn After Reading, which also stars Brad Pitt, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, and Tilda Swinton.It’s out in the US on September 12.
Clooney told Star pretty much what he always says to the same old questions people have been asking him for years about his personal life and lack of desire to have a family. He also made some funny quips about his co-star Brad Pitt and the fact that his Lake Como villa has become a tourist attraction. As for getting older, Clooney said he loves his wrinkles and gray hair because it gives him character and that he’s not about to get Botox. He doesn’t struggle with his fame, but admitted it kind of bothers him that people have preconceived notions about him:

Sometimes. My villa is now a national tourist site - I’m probably going to open my own amusement park and sell Clooney dolls and memorabilia to take away some strain from the area. But I just appreciate the way Italians enjoy life. We should all learn the beauty of the four-hour meal.Other than having your vacation home mobbed, how does your fame affect you?
I’m a pretty open guy, and I like meeting people. But it disturbs me a bit that there’s this whole image that people have of me in their heads that it takes a while to break down. And you usually don’t get that time unless you’re working with them.You’re 47 now. Does getting older bother you.
I don’t mind it a bit. I love my gray hair; I love the fact that my face has more of an edge and more character than it did when I was in my 20s and 30s. No Botox for me!

I get the impression that with Clooney what you see is what you get. With every interview I read, he gives consistent and low-key responses. He’s suave, funny, and in command, but he’s not misrepresenting himself or putting on airs. He knows his worth, yet he’s still willing to work for his hard-earned success. This is the guy who did over two hours worth of interviews on the red carpet at the Oscars this year. I saw him talking to a German interviewer who was asking very in-depth questions and he was both patient and thoughtful in his responses. He’s a bit of a cad, but he’s a loveable one and he’ll have fans for years to come.

The NY Post’s Page Six, a reliable source for gossip tidbits, had some not so nice things to say about George Clooney’s ex girlfriend Sarah Larson. The newspaper pointed out that Clooney had tried to help jump start Larsen’s modeling career before dumping her. On the other side, Page Six claims Larson was not faithful to Clooney. A source said that while she was with Clooney, she “came to Vegas for a weekend and cheated on him with a media mogul.
Source or not, that’s pretty hard to believe!
And now With Clooney out of the picture, Sarah has allegedly moved on to dating some small-time Las Vegas promoter who goes by the name of Joey Vanas. The paper describes this turn in Larson’s dating life as going from a “hero to a zero.” Pretty cruel commentary but going from George Clooney to just about anyone else is sort of a step down though, in most peoples eyes.

After a rousing arrival via luxury boat earlier today for their photo call, Brad Pitt and George Clooney traded in their suits for tuxedos on their way to the 2008 Venice Film Festival premiere of “Burn After Reading.”
The “Oceans Eleven” co-stars were accompanied by directors Ethan and Joel Coen, as well as co-stars Frances McDormand and Tilda Swinton to the Sala Grande.

Clooney, 47, was accosted by the enthusiastic fan in Portofino, Italy on Saturday. He was out riding with his friend, Manuele Malenotti, who is the creative director of Belstaff, an Italian clothing company.
The two rode their motorcycles along the coast together on Saturday. They were seen relaxing on a boat off the Elba Isle in Tuscany on Sunday. Clooney lounged around, read the paper and enjoyed some wine. Looks like a nice life except for the stalking photographers.

Still looking fabulous in a swimsuit at the age of 42, Cindy Crawford was all about showing off her bikini bod on George Clooney’s yacht in Sardinia, Italy on Tuesday.
The supermodel and her husband Rande Garber have been the guests of their “Ocean’s Thirteen” stud host all week, as they’ve tooled around the Mediterranean Sea in his luxury yacht.
George Clooney’s ex, Sarah Larson, is making the PR rounds to let everyone know just how awesome she is, just how great her life is going, and how she’s still good friends with George. Not to sound too cynical, but I don’t believe a word of it. It’s definitely more dignified to go this route than trying to drag the person through the mud, so I give her points for trying. I just don’t think it’s true.
Actor George Clooney certainly knows how to stay on good terms with his exes, if a new interview with Sarah Larson is anything to go by. Clooney split with the former cocktail waitress in May after a year together. But if anyone expected her to be bitter about losing her grip on Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor, think again.
“George is a great guy, a wonderful person. I don’t regret spending time with him and he’s a great person to get to know. We still remain friends and have kept in touch. In fact, we spoke over the phone a couple of days ago. He’s fun to be around, down to earth, laid back, funny and smart,” she gushed to Hello! magazine. And the Ocean’s Eleven star is apparently a man of hidden talents. “Most people know George has a great sense of humour and is an adept storyteller, but I will always miss his extraordinary dance moves,” Larson said.
Thanks to their relationship, however, she is now moving on to bigger and better things. “I have a lot of great opportunities, doors that have opened, and I have no complaints. I make good money. I have a house. I have all the things I’ve always wanted. I’m in a good place,” she said.
I’ve had some amazing offers come in, including one modelling campaign that may bring me to England soon. I can’t talk about it yet because it’s not a done deal. I hope it happens because I’ve never been to England and I’d love to spend some time there. If I do end up there I could find a nice British boy. I’d be open to the idea. I hear they have a good sense of humour.”

It sounds like Sarah is appreciative of the good things her relationship with George brought her, but I can’t imagine her possibly being so cool with him. But if she really is, then good for her. She is strikingly beautiful; hopefully she’ll be able to parlay her exposure into some kind of career. Not that eating bugs on Fear Factor wasn’t a good gig. It just wasn’t long-term.

George Clooney just gave a pretty funny interview to In Touch magazine, in which he talked about the pressures of being as high profile – and damn sexy – as he is. And he admitted that looking like George Clooney takes a lot of work – but he’s happy to do it.
Do they [George’s friends] ask you for advice?
Mostly the usual stuff. What does it take to appeal to women?What’s your reply?
I can only talk about my own experiences. With me, it’s the hair. If you have beautiful and strong hair, then you’re successful with women.So you wouldn’t be sexy bald?
In the case of hair loss, it’s all over.How long does it take you to get dressed?
I spend at least three or four hours a day in the bathroom. Being sexy day and night is a big responsibility. And I like taking it!

George also pulls a John Mayer and says that his player reputation is undeserved. And he notes that while he was quick to always profess his hatred of marriage after his divorce, it never even occurred to him that he might have a problem with commitment. Clooney also says that he hasn’t dated nearly as many women as he’s been linked to by the press.
Still, he insists he’s capable of settling down. “For a long time I took every chance to say that I was not going to marry again,” says George, who divorced actress Talia Balsam in 1993. “So I became very careful after a failed marriage. But am I afraid of committing? It’s never occurred to me.”

I don’t know if I quite buy all of that, but I don’t think George discards women nearly as quickly – or as easily – as a lot of men in Hollywood. I’m sure there’s plenty out there that go through women much faster than they can possibly be linked to, even by the aggressive press. Ever since he broke up with Sarah Larson, George has had to defend his lifestyle and relationship choices quite a bit in the media. I’d say “poor guy” or something like that – but clearly he’s still doing fine. And just working on maintaining his sexiness.

As Microsoft founder Bill Gates gets ready to bid farewell to his company today Friday (27Jun08), he does so in his own style - through a spoof video starring the likes of Bono, Matthew McConaughey, George Clooney and Jay-Z. Gates decided to have the last laugh on his colleagues with a spoof video of his last day on the job.
The video called Bill’s Last Day shows how the 53-year-old corporate might spend his last full day at Microsoft and how he tries hard for a new “day job.” The six-minute video shows Gates work out in the gym with his trainer played by Matthew McConaughey. The Microsoft boss is then seen rapping in the sound studio to Jay-Z. Bill also interrupts Bono”s U2 concert hoping to get a place in the band and pleads Steven Spielberg for a role in his movie. George Clooney is also seen passing on the opportunity to play the Microsoft moghul in a film. Bill also calls Barack Obama about a possible Vice President role.
This star-studded video was showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show 2008 during his 11th and last keynote speech. It records over 300,000 hits on the video website You Tube. Gates explained that it will be the first time since he was 17 years old he wouldn”t be working full-time at the company he created.
George Clooney's Smoke House production company is set to develop a half-hour dark comedy at Showtime titled The Fall of Bob. The show will be written by Danny Zuker and focuses on a man whose life flashes before his eyes as he jumps off a building, according to Variety.
Dark comedy? Showtime? Clooney? We can't wait!

Meanwhile Clooney’s movie career continues to roll along. Clooney will next be seen in the Joel and Ethan Coen-directed Burn After Reading. And he just signed on to star in a spy thriller titled “The Tourist” for Warner Bros. The film is an adaptation of an Olen Steinhauer novel. According to Variety, Clooney will also be producing the movie.
The film is a contemporary international thriller about a spy who risks everything to reveal a conspiracy after he’s accused of a murder he didn’t commit. Anthony Peckham has penned the script.

Early reports were saying that George Clooney left Sarah Larson because of her blabbermouth, but now reports are saying it was for a different cause altogether.
In Touch Weekly is reporting that George didn't really want Sarah to get a boob job, but the aspiring model did in May in what some have deemed a desperate attempt to keep George around. They say that George had already made up his mind about dumping her before the surgery, and even before their appearance at the Metropolitan Museum of Art gala in early May.
"He wanted to break up with her but ... He didn't want to be a jerk, so he took her to be nice," the source said.
But the breakup itself? Another source says "They had a huge fight and he left the house. Sarah read in the media that they'd broken up and freaked out because George hadn't told her anything. He had to explain himself because she'd found out with the rest of the world."
I feel sorry for Sarah, but at least she's getting a Playboy photo shoot out of the deal. At least one good thing came from that boob job.

A source said, “George really didn’t want her to get the boob job. She asked George if she could do her recovery at his house and he agreed.”
I am sure the break-up was due to a combination of things but I think the ‘kiss of death’ was when Sarah suddenly started doing magazine interviews this spring, where she revealed intimate details of her relationship with the very private George Clooney.
Anyway the same source also said Sarah didn’t find out about the break-up until she read it in the media.
Sarah supposedly isn’t letting a little break-up get her down. She’s trying to move on to bigger and better things (sort of), “She likes her new body so much that she would consider posing for Playboy. Now that she’s famous, she’d never go back to cocktailing.”
I have speculated previously that I feared that’s the direction Sarah would go once she lost her meal ticket. It’s hard to give those 15 minutes of fame and go back to being a cocktail waitress.
Now that Sarah Larson has been dumped by George Clooney, she has returned to Las Vegas. A friend says Sarah never saw it coming.
“She thought they were getting married. Instead, she got dumped. She’s really upset. Devastated. She’s totally heartbroken and doesn’t deserve this. It came out of nowhere. They had made all these plans.”
She didn’t see it coming? Really? She was dating George Clooney for crying out loud. He’s not exactly known for his long-term commitments.
The people at WENN put together a before and after comparison of Clooney’s teeth, and it looks like he got a full set of veneers. They’re kind of fake-looking to me, but it’s a bit better than his look before. I wonder if his now ex girlfriend, Sarah Larson, convinced him to get dental work. She seems like the type who would think big fake teeth are attractive.

I looked through a lot of red carpet photos and he seems to have been self conscious of his teeth because he usually poses with his mouth closed. The actor’s rep, Stan Rosenfield, would only say: “We do not comment on George’s personal life.”
The pair initially met in Las Vegas nearly four years ago, when Larson, a onetime Fear Factor winner, was a cocktail server at The Whiskey Bar. But it wasn’t until the pair met for the second time in June 2007 in Las Vegas that sparks flew.
I know he’s George Clooney and everything but the dude is almost 50 and he landed a super hot 29 year old who is obviously a sex kitten. Is he thinking he can get a hotter chick? I don’t understand. I would think he would cling to this chick like a fat kid clings to a hamburger. I mean seriously, do you think a 50 year old man can find another ass that looks like this?
