I know, I know-some of you will say HOW CAN YOU COMPARE EDWARD TO HARRY.

I just did. Harry Potter didn’t make me giggle like a school-girl. Edward Cullen did. Harry Potter rushed to marry Ginny and didn’t leave us any intimate details….but Bella and Edward left us many a detail! Sure the Twilight books are no Zane books, but they do evoke curiosity!

Don’t get me wrong, Harry Potter books are fantastic and brilliant! But the Twilight books are more realistic…yes vampires, werewolves and all! I’d rather live in a world with them than living in a world with trolls, dragons and Luna Lovegood…

I’m being too dramatic BUT OMFG MIDNIGHT SHOW OF TWILIGHT!!!!!!!! Aren’t you all excited to finally see what everyone has been TALKING about! The hot Robert Pattinson and the absolutely gorgeous Kristin Stewart will be gracing their way onto our nearest cinemas! This is extremely exciting and if any of you dare to say “Oh it is toooo expensive”. You suck. Because this movie is worth every penny, every dollar, every hour which you had to beg for money or whore yourself out on the pole.

However, be warned that if any of you start squealing during the movie, you will be hit in the face by popcorn. Oh but people also be warned that Disney will probably make a spin off of Twilight…remember Wizards of Waverly Place is such a spin off from Harry Potter. Unoriginal bitches.

First full U.S. trailer for “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” released

The first full U.S. trailer (below) for “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” is now out, ironically a week before the movie was originally set to hit theaters. The trailer contains some of the same scenes of the previous teaser clips, but it’s the first to provide a sense of the film’s balance between light and dark moments, including a choice one featuring a love-struck Ron Weasley.

Plot Synopsis: Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.

Where the first teaser trailer from “Half-Blood Prince” focused on a young Tom Riddle, the boy who was to become Voldemort, and the international trailer on climatic battles between good and evil forces, this one provides a tad more exposition about Harry’s quest-to-come: finding Voldemort’s Horcruxes, the artifacts in which he’s hidden pieces of his soul.

Daniel Craig: Prince Harry would be “perfect” replacement as Bond

Daniel Craig has made a few comments about who should be the next Bond after he’s finished his stint. It’s almost like he can’t wait to get out from under the career defining role and pass the burden on to someone else. Craig has said that the next Bond should be black, or even American. But after a recent red carpet meeting, he’s decided he knows the “perfect” next James Bond. Daniel and Prince Harry were introduced at the Royal premiere of the latest Bond flick and Craig seems to think there’s no better Bond replacement.

Daniel Craig has named the ‘perfect’ man to replace him as James Bond – Prince Harry.

The actor, who met the young Royal at the premiere of Quantum Of Solace, said: ‘I think Prince Harry would make a fantastic James Bond. He’s suave, and just a little bit dangerous.

‘Like Bond, he is unpredictable and would be a perfect Bond. He’s got everything it takes.’

For some reason, I can see this. Harry has developed the dashing Bond persona, the rebellious, but still posh and elite thing that made early Bond, but he also has that craving for danger that characterizes Craig’s Bond. If the increasingly more attractive of the two princes ever decided to go into showbiz, Bond would certainly be the way to go.

Alas, I have doubts the Queen would approve, so Prince Harry is just going to have to be a real life Bond-esque character. Maybe Craig can get a private audience with Liz and Chuck and convince them that Harry becoming Bond would be the best PR the Royal Family could hope for.

Roger Moore is sad that James Bond has become so violent

Roger Moore is seldom chosen in any poll as the most cherished James Bond. While he certainly made a mark as the British agent, more people prefer Connery, Bronson, or the current Daniel Craig. But Moore doesn’t regret trading in his TV career to become Bond. Roger Moore has written his memoirs about his experiences, the book is called “My Word is My Bond.”

Asked about his own legacy as an actor known mostly for playing Bond and in TV series such as “The Saint,” and “The Persuaders,” with Tony Curtis, Moore said: “I would love to be remembered as one of the greatest Lears or Hamlets. But as that’s not going to happen I’m quite happy I did Bond.”

His memoir is full of anecdotes about Hollywood and the stars he worked with such as Vivien Leigh, Mae West and Lana Turner. He also tells of his bust-up with Grace Jones during the filming of “A View to a Kill,” when he forcibly pulled the plug on her stereo and flung a chair against the wall because she was playing loud rock music.

Roger, who played the Bond character in a more fanciful, amusing way than the franchise has turned lately, laments the violent turn the character has taken. When he was playing the character, he was asked to be more sinister than he was comfortable with a few times, and while he tried to keep the character more charm than force, he was unsuccessful.

“I am happy to have done it, but I’m sad that it has turned so violent,” Moore said before “Quantum of Solace,” starring Daniel Craig as a darker Agent 007, opens in North America on Friday.

Moore, 81, recalled being appalled at the violence in “A View to a Kill,” the 1985 movie which was the last of the seven in which he played Bond. “That wasn’t Bond,” he said.

While making “The Man With the Golden Gun,” director Guy Hamilton wanted Bond to be tougher and had him threaten to break Maud Adams’ character’s arm to get information, he writes. “That sort of characterization didn’t sit well with me, but Guy was keen to make my Bond a little more ruthless.

“I suggested my Bond would have charmed the information out of her by bedding her first. My Bond was a lover and a giggler, but I went along with Guy,” the British actor wrote.

But Moore knows that the direction the character has taken is what the public wants these days. The new Daniel Craig Bond was more embraced as the character after one movie than Moore’s was after seven.

Moore said, “Daniel has done one Bond and he was in ‘Munich’ and … he’s done a lot of stuff, but his face, after one Bond film, that’s all he needs. He is Bond.”

And for now, I think most would agree, he is.

Emma Watson doesn’t get a lot of privacy when it comes to her dating life. The 18-year-old actress is said to be dating Australian drama student Angus Willoughby, 19. The pair meet while studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, and
are said to be planning a trip to Willoughby’s home town of Perth, Australia, according to British newspaper the Daily Telegraph. Watson was previously linked to another drama student - Italian Roberto Agnillera, after they were spotted enjoying a string of dates in August.

In other Harry Potter cast related news Daniel Radcliffe was excited to experience a presidential election first hand (even if he can’t vote) so he tagged along with an “Equus” co-star who voted near NYU yesterday. The 19-year-old Brit told The NY Post’s Barbara Hoffman: “Barack Obama’s treated like the Messiah in England,” “We don’t have particularly inspirational politicians, certainly no one who can draw crowds in the thousands.” Speaking of crowds, Daniel can walk the streets of NY undetected without any invisible cloaks needed. “The other day, I walked through Battery Park City up around Wall Street for about two hours, and I wasn’t stopped once,” Radcliffe says. “I’m so short, (5-foot-5) no one notices me!”

Hello! Magazine has a new interview with hot Bond powerhouse Daniel Craig. The smoldering blond Bond comes across as both grateful for his fame and willing to work hard to ensure that he stays on the top of his game. Craig says he’s touched by the adoration he receives from fans, but that it’s not that relevant to him because he’s in a long term relationship. He’s humble and low-key when it comes to the praise that’s been heaped on him for his performance in the action role. As for the future of the series, he says he’s up to playing Bond for as long as he’s wanted.

On his fans and hot body

Q: These days, women are falling over themselves to meet Daniel Craig. How do you find the attention?
“I’m very touched by it. I have to have a sense of humour about it, because on the one hand it’s very nice and on the other hand it doesn’t have much relevance to my life, because I live with somebody.”
Q: You’ve pumped up your physique for the Bond role. Do you enjoy showing off?
“I don’t feel particularly comfortable with it. Obviously, it’s nice to get fit and be in good shape, but it’s a by-product.
Q: It must make you very proud to have so many people say you’re the best Bond since Sean Connery…
“Obviously, I am very proud of that and it is very nice of them to say that. But not everybody thinks that. Believe me, I know that.
Q: What has been your most memorable encounter with fans since you became Bond?
“Getting out of the car at the premiere of Casino Royale in London is something I’m never going to forget - I’m not sure how many thousands of fans were standing there in Leicester Square.”

On his character traits as Bond: He drinks on screen but doesn’t smoke
Craig talks about how he’s reinterpreted Ian Fleming’s Bond. He is asked what character traits from the books he’s used or avoided, and he says that Bond’s chain smoking was cut because “I can’t do that [smoke 60 cigarettes a day] and run two-and-a-half miles down the road, it just doesn’t tie in.” He adds that “the drinking’s there, the Dutch courage.” He says he orders his martinis as Vespers like in the last film and that “it’s a big fat, heavy drink of alcohol, but it’s actually quite a good drink.” (Here are some recipes for that drink if you’re interested, Craig describes it as “two parts vodka, two parts gin, then a measure of Kina Lillet.”) The cast did drink the actual martinis on set, and he said “The trouble is, with three it’s ok, but four, you’re ‘Well, this evening could be over soon!’”

Quantum of Solace is a very different film from Casino Royale, according to Craig. He says that it won’t be his last if things go right.

On continuing to play Bond for as long as we’ll have him

Q: Do you see Bond as a long term job?
“It’s becoming that way. We’ll see how this one turns out. If everything goes well, if people still want to see these movies, I’ll keep doing them for as long as it takes - or until my knees go, whichever happens quicker.”

Ok, we doubt this is true, but it'd be WAY hot if it were!

Reports are that Disney hottie Zac Efron has been approached to take over Daniel Radcliffe's role in the controversial Broadway play Equus.

Somehow, we don't think Zefron has what it takes to play the part.

Or does he?

Apparently, though, he's been offered the role. Whether he takes it is a different story!

During the premiere of High School Musical 3 in London, Zacquisha said, "You know that Daniel Radcliffe role on Broadway, well it's been mentioned.”

That, or he just mentioned it himself to get the role.

Maybe Zac is just trying to shed his wholesome, Disney image?

He just finished filming the period drama Me and Orson Welles along with hasbeen Claire Danes.

But, it looks like Efron has hopes for bigger things. He truly wants to be a super star.

Says Zacquisha, "I would love to just sit down and talk with Leonardo DeCaprio and Johnny Depp and pick their brains about their early careers. They do it because they love it, not because they enjoy being famous. You have to have good foresight and be really careful. If you don't adapt and learn at a very young age, you can really mess up."

An entire host of Bond stars turned out to an event on Sunday to pay tribute to Bond author Fleming, including former 007 star Roger Moore and the current Bond, Daniel Craig. A bevy of former Bond Girls also made an appearance, including Caroline Munro and Madeline Smith. Gemma Arterton was also on hand for the London party to mark the end of author Ian Fleming’s centenary year. The 22-year-old showed off her curvaceous figure in a stunning gold dress.

Arterton beat out competition from 1,500 other hopefuls to get the role as the latest Bond Girl in Quantum of Solace - the 22nd film, which will be released on November 14. Beauty comes in many forms and Gemma started out life with a few unique features. She tells Esquire magazine at the party: ‘I was born with lots of deformities.’ She revealed she was born with six fingers on each hand. The extra fingers were ‘tied’, which causes them to fall off naturally. ‘It’s my little oddity that I’m really proud of. It makes me different.’ Earlier this year, she revealed she was also born with a crumpled ear, which was corrected through surgery.
Gema also revealed she moved her new Spanish boyfriend Eduardo Munoz into her two-bedroom flat in Crouch End, north London this month. The actress met the 19-year-old 6ft 2in action man on the Moroccan set of the $100 million blockbuster Prince Of Persia in August, where he was employed to teach her how to ride horses. They hit it off immediately, despite the language barrier. But she has now had to hire a translator to help them understand each other better.

He’s an old pro when it comes to stage acting, with rave reviews for his UK performances. But Daniel Radcliffe was still plenty nervous when “Equus” opened on Broadway last night (September 25).

Our German Friends over at PromiPranger got some amazing shots of The New Kids on the Block as they arrived at the Intercontinental Hotel in Cologne. They are set to perform on “The Guiness World Record Show” that is broadcast in Berlin. The group seemed a bit tired, most likely because they had to arise so early. These fotos were taken at the Sat 1 Breakfast TV. Also in the set is Joey shopping in Cologne and sneaking into his shuttle. Swarms of people were watching and waiting and he was trying to go unnoticed, but he had trouble getting into the van and had to wait until the driver got back. Daniel Radcliffe gives ‘Details’ in revealing interview

In an interview and photo shoot with style magazine Details, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe seems determined to ditch his boy wizard image. The 19-year-old actor gives a rather revealing interview in which he seems happy to open up about his life. Radcliffe, who has spent eight years playing Harry Potter, is soon to start a run of Equus on Broadway, New York.

He will be on stage eight times a week, with full frontal nudity, just as he did in the hit London production. And although he will soon be playing psychiatric patient Alan Strang eight times a week, he said he had never spent any time on the couch himself.

‘I’ve been pretty happy. I’ve got a great family,’ he said.

‘We’re a very tight-knit group. We work very well as a team and as a tribe. I owe it to that.’

Radcliffe added that he was currently single, and does not have room for a girlfriend in his life.

‘Most of my friends have been girls and I see how they are with their boyfriends and I think ‘I couldn’t do that,’ he said. I just don’t have the time.

Radcliffe did admit he celebrated reaching the age of 16, by losing his virginity to a much older girlfriend.

But although he insisted the age difference ‘wasn’t ridiculous’, he did say it ‘would freak some people out’. The young lady rumored to have taken young Daniel’s innocence is Amy Byrne. Amy was 23 at the time and worked as an assistant hairdresser on one of the Harry Potter movies.

The actor , who is known for living a quiet life and not succumbing to the wild party scene said vodka and Diet Coke was his beverage of choice, because he was a ‘pansy-ass civilian’. He does have a wild streak though.

The 19-year-old actor confessed he would love to play a cross-dresser just so he could wear lots of slap and eye make up.

‘I think part of me would love to play a drag queen,’ he says in the September issue of Details magazine.

Radcliffe also told Details that the Harry Potter phenomenon had not left him with child star angst - but confessed he suffered from the normal teen problems.

‘For the most part I’ve been happy every single day,’ he said.

‘And all the times I’ve been unhappy, it’s never been anything to do with Potter.

‘It’s just been the normal, boring teenage crap. Insecurities, acne - all the normal stuff.’

Daniel Radcliffe is smart. He knows that his sweet gig as Harry Potter isn’t going to last forever. So the young actor is making sure people know that he can do a lot more than wave a wand and mutter a few magic words. Fresh from rehearsals for his leading role in the stage drama Equus, which he began in London and is now reprising on Broadway, Radcliffe’s latest interview with Details magazine reveals a business-savvy, determined young actor who is ready to take on more adult roles once the Harry Potter film series ends.

There’s only one thing the boy wizard wants now that he’s all grown up—to play a drag queen.

“I think part of me would love to play a drag queen. Just because it would be an excuse to wear loads of eye make-up.”

Ah, yes, this would be the virile Dan Radcliffe, he of the bare-torso cover shots and professions of girl-craziness, the young man who appeared at last night’s Tony Awards still trailing tabloid buzz over his harrowing, occasionally naked performance in Equus, which was originally staged in London. Radcliffe plays Alan Strang, a self-flagellating, stable-boy mental case, a role that fans of him as a certain bespectacled boy wizard—whose presence looms over us even now in a sunny New York City park—might find unsettling.

Like any maturing child star, Daniel Radcliffe is carefully plotting his career after he leaves the role that made his name. Two things make his case unusual: (1) He may be the most eerily adult such actor since a post-“Taxi Driver Jodie Foster, and (2) that character happens to be the most popular literary hero since the invention of the printing press.

The seven Harry Potter books have sold more than 400 million copies. They have been translated into 67 languages. They’ve made their author, J.K. Rowling, the highest-earning novelist in history. And they’ve spawned the top-grossing film series of all time, which has earned Harry Potter’s cinematic representative a fortune the London Times this year estimated to be $39.7 million. Having just signed a contract for $50 million to see Harry Potter through to graduation, Radcliffe is tied with the ubiquitous Miley Cyrus on Forbes’ “Hollywood’s Top-Paid Tweens” list. Today he occupies a sphere of fame, wealth, and public imagining that approaches the supernatural. Escaping Harry Potter may be his biggest magic trick of all.

We first meet in the hotel lounge, a book-lined nook with Edwardian aspirations: Beaux Arts shelves, a carved-wood fireplace, tables for chess and backgammon. The vibe is somewhere between Kipling-era smoking room and Oxford-don study—an effect that’s amplified when Hogwarts’ own bursts in and takes a seat at the cribbage table. When Radcliffe marvels at the surfeit of ice in his glass, I counsel him to order booze neat—when he’s old enough.

“Well, I am old enough to drink,” he says with mock indignation. “But not in this country, apparently.” Ever since Equus added a kinky twist to the end of one of the most well-attended puberties of the decade, Radcliffe’s passage into adulthood has been the stuff of feverish speculation. For the record, Master Radcliffe does drink—in moderation and in private. Vodka and Diet Coke is his cocktail of choice, he says, “’cause I’m a pansy-ass civilian.” Also for the record, he celebrated reaching Britain’s age of consent, 16, almost three years ago, in the customary manner, with an older girlfriend. Maybe because he’s surrounded by people at least twice his age, Radcliffe tends to date older women. He’s currently single, although he explains that this is primarily due to time constraints. “Most of my friends have been girls, and I see how they are with their boyfriends and I think, I couldn’t do that,” he says. “I just don’t have the time.”

It sounds like Daniel is a lot more prepared to make the leap from child star to adult actor than many other kid celebs. He was smart and well-adjusted enough to realize that appearing nude in a respected stage play will help his career a lot more than leaking racy candid photos on the Internet, like some other certain teen stars we could name. The question remains, though: will he be able to appear in a film without people in the audience thinking, “hey, that’s Harry Potter!” It’s going to take some real talent to pull that off.

Someone might want to explain to Daniel Radcliffe that theater is by no means his upstairs attic where he gets to dig through his mum’s old chest of clothing and touch other little boys when no one is looking.

“I think part of me would love to play a drag queen,” Radcliffe says in the new issue of Details magazine, “just because it would be an excuse to wear loads of eye makeup.”

That’s not the only thing Mr. Radcliffe reveals…

He tells writer Chris Norris that he celebrated turning 16 (Britain’s age of consent) with an older girlfriend.

This kid is doing everything to make sure we know he’s not just “the dude that played Harry Potter.” Further down the road, when things get really serious and virtually no one remembers his real name, he’s going to be dangling naked off the Eiffel tower, tripping on acid, and peeing on the pedestrians down below. You don’t believe me now, but we’ll see.

He’s come a long way from his boyish title character in the Harry Potter film series. And Daniel Radcliffe is all geared up to bring his stage skills (including nudity) to the Broadway stage when “Equus” opens for preview shows September 5th.

And of course, everyone is wondering what’s up with Radcliffe’s birthday suit action, since only English audiences have seen him in the play so far. He nonchalantly asserts, “It’s only seven minutes at the end of the play.”

Was Harry Potter delayed due to Daniel Radcliffe’s public nudity?

Fox News is reporting that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is being delayed due to Daniel Radcliffe waving his magic wand around on Broadway. Warner Bros. has delayed the film’s release until June 2009 as Daniel Radcliffe will be appearing nude on stage in Equus in November, close to the original release date.

Warner Bros. has announced moving its sixth Potter film, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” from Nov. 21, 2008, to July 17, 2009. The reason? Officially, there is no reason, except that “a spot opened on the summer schedule.”

That’s not much of a reason. The real story? Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe will be right in the middle of his sensational, highly publicized run on Broadway in the play, “Equus.” Radcliffe appears naked in the play, on stage, and has sex in it as well. That’s not the image Warner Bros. wants associated with bespectacled Harry, who remains chaste and virginal.

Indeed, posters for Equus are up all over New York, of Radcliffe’s naked torso superimposed on a horse’s head. This is not the sort of thing that’s taught at Hogwarts. For the movie to open on Nov. 21, Radcliffe would have to do publicity entailing answering questions about blinding horses and having sex with them vs. flying around and making potions.

However, it seems to be that the makers of the new film might be trying to trade on the nude aspect of Daniel’s career, as he’ll be appearing without pants in the new film. This won’t be full-frontal, it’s a kids’ film.

The actor - who has starred as the teen wizard in five movies in the franchise based on the books by JK Rowling - admits he was unsure when he was told he would be appearing without trousers in a scene in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

He said: “At first I thought I had pants on. Apparently not!”

However, Daniel - who has stripped off in the stage production of Equus - insists he isn’t worried about his fans seeing him nude on screen, adding: “It’s all old hat now, really!”

Daniel Radcliffe is currently nude on the back of a horse in Vogue, and all over billboards, so it is possible that Daniel won’t be typecast as a wizard much longer, but rather as a horse mutilating psychopath. There’s probably an Oscar in that for him, but not as many merchandising opportunities.

Defamer suggests that the film has been delayed to try and emulate this summer’s success with The Dark Knight, but regardless of when it is released I’m sure it’s going to make money. The site also points out that Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix came out of the heels of his underage London run of Equus.

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has revealed he suffers from dyspraxia. Dyspraxia affects motor skill development and can impair all areas of development and learning, including intellectual, physical and language. People with dyspraxia have difficulty planning and completing intended fine motor tasks. It is estimated that as many as 6% of all children show some signs of dyspraxia, and in the general population, about 70% of those affected by dyspraxia are male.

Daniel’s dyspraxia is comparatively on the mild end of the spectrum. Daniel admits he ‘was rubbish at everything at school’ and finds tying his shoe laces a bit of a challenge. In an interview to mark his Broadway debut in the play Equus, Daniel talked about the condition and in reference to the shoe tying, jokingly added: ‘I sometimes think, “Why, oh why, has Velcro not taken off?’’’

Daniel revealed in the interview that he wanted to be an actor from the age of five. But he said his mother was against it. When she finally allowed him to audition to play David Copperfield, in a BBC version of the Dickens classic when he was nine, he says it was because she could see he needed a confidence boost. And the rest is history. Daniel got the part and was a hit, which helped him onto Harry Potter and amassing a personal fortune estimated at $34 million.

Bad news for the millions of Harry Potter fans around the world who have already been waiting more than a year to watch the next movie in the series. The release date for the sixth Harry Potter movie, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” has reportedly just been pushed back on Thursday from its original slot in November 2008, to July 2009. Trailers for “Half-Blood Prince” began running last week in advance of the expected November movie release worldwide. So what happened? It seems to be greed, quite frankly. Warner Bros., decided to make the change to the release schedule for the lucrative summer moviegoing season that can account for as much as 40 percent of Hollywood’s annual box office receipts. The studio said the change of date would not alter production plans for the final, two-part Potter movie adventure, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” the seventh and last story from British author J.K. Rowling The release date for part one is tentatively set for November 2010.

Scandalous book reveals many Hollywood secrets?

Rush & Molly reports that a new book called “Hollywood Babylon: It’s Back” coming out June 1st, promises to have some pretty scandalous material. The book title is borrowed from filmmaker Kenneth Anger’s classic scandal bible, and is authored by Danforth Prince and Darwin Porter.

One part of the book is dedicated to full-frontal nude shots of celebrities such as Daniel Radcliffe, Ewan McGregor, Richard Gere, John Malcovich, Mick Jagger, James Woods, Richard Gere and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger among others. The authors also write about the reputed size of many other stars in the book, including supposedly well-endowed Johnny Depp and Sean Connery.

Another part of the book covers scandalous claims about some past Hollywood stars:
- Marilyn Monroe had an affair with Ronald Reagan.
- Marilyn had a fling with Joan Crawford, but ended it. Marilyn told her roommate at the time Shelley Winters, “She had bad breath. Besides, “she wanted to do things to me that no woman should do to another woman.”
- Elvis Presley got it on with Nick Adam
- James Dean showed a disconcerting interest in a 12-year-old boy. Elia Kazan believing the story said, “I’ve known many actors who have been twisted up in their sex lives, but never anybody as sick and unhealthy as Dean was.”
- Lucille Ball was a hooker before she was famous. Desi Arnaz had a fling with Cesar Romero.
- Cary Grant had an incestuous relationship with his stepson.
- Police believed Bette Davis killed her second husband, Arthur Farnsworth.
- Sir Winston Churchill played conductor with actor and songwriter Ivor Novello.
- Strange things happened to Judy Garland’s dead body (this in the chapter on “Fan Worship and Necrophilia”).
Wow this book is going to produce a lot of lawsuits. I’m doubting some of these stories are true (though one or two stories ring a bell), but I am ready if somebody asks me to write a book report. Maybe some of you have heard some of these stories/myths before and would care to comment?

Daniel Radcliffe was supposedly looking for a hot Aussie girl, one in particular that he met at the Australian Film Industry awards. Two girls have come forward, claiming they met the boy wizard/millionaire, and producing photographs to prove it.

To be fair, I’d have to admit that both girls meet Daniel’s description of them as being ‘stunning’ in appearance.

The first girl is Cassi McKay, she’s a 20-year-old insurance worker and is heading to London. Not to meet Daniel, that’s just a coincidence. She’s been in a committed relationship for over two years.

“We said hello and had a quick chat and for the rest of the night, just because I was fascinated, we were sort of smiling and making eye contact,” she said.

“I couldn’t believe when he said he was looking for the girl.”

Although she is committed to her current relationship, Ms McKay said she would be keen to organise a second audience with Radcliffe while she was in the UK.

“I’ve told my boyfriend about him and I’d be keen to meet up,” she said.

Cassi, who approached the newspaper herself and posed for photographs, says she hopes “people don’t think I want my 15 minutes of fame or anything”. Well, what are you looking for then, if you aren’t pursuing the boy wizard, or looking for some notoriety? Why come forward at all?

The second girl, who was actually photographed with Daniel and Cassi, is Savannah Blount, a 23-year-old sax player at the event.

Blount said she was charmed by the teen wizard and was happy to go on a date with him if the chance arose during one of her regular UK tours.

“He was quite lovely. He was very charming, very polite,” she told the Melbourne edition of MX. “Maybe if I was working over there or touring, you never know.”

Though not a Harry Potter fan, Blount is attracted to the $50 million dollar man.

“Handsome? Yes, yes - and very short. I’m more for the taller type of guy.

“I’ve got a lovely boyfriend who is quite concerned - no, he thinks it’s funny.”

But what does Daniel’s publicist have to say about all this?

“(Radcliffe’s comments) were meant in jest, but sadly been blown out of all proportion,” Radcliffe’s London-based representative, Vanessa Davies, told New York’s Daily News newspaper.

I love it when I’m right, and it doesn’t happen very often. It seems that I was correct about Daniel Radcliffe’s mystery Australian girl – he was having on the reporters at the Daily Telegraph.

At any rate, you can vote on which girl Daniel should choose, as if it’s all a matter of an online poll. The current lady in the lead for Harry Potter is Cassi with 38% of the vote. Personally I, along with 26% of voters, think that he should give both crazies a miss.
