Opting to spend their afternoon soaking up the rays, Kristen Bell and boyfriend Dax Shepard were spotted enjoying a day at the beach in Malibu on Sunday (August 17).
After lotioning up his “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” sweetheart, Dax and Kristen engaged in a little seaside lovin’ - also spending time chatting with pal and fellow beachgoer, Tom Arnold.

Did I miss something? When did Dax Shepard turn into an Abercrombie & Fitch model? I haven’t seen a body transformation like that since last summer when I finally broke through the “eight pack” barrier. Finally I could fulfill my lifetime dream of dancing as a sexy cop at bachelorette parties without embarrassment!

Wow, that homeless guy really likes his self-tanner. Oh wait, that's just Dax Shepard, who I believe is considered to be a "comedian" and has somehow managed to get himself involved in romantic relationships with Kate Hudson and Kristen Bell. Really, ladies? The fact that the guy has no problem dressing like a wacky British crackhead doesn't provide some sort of dating obstacle?
OK, since he is on a movie set, I guess the mesh tank could be for a character. If not, I really like to point out that all the heat he's hoping to save by wearing that dull beanie of his is probably being cancelled out by the energy escaping through the mesh of his top.

Well I guess every dog has his day and Dax Shepard has gone to canine heaven as Kristen Bell’s new boyfriend. I don’t see how this guy lands Kate Hudson and now Kristen Bell. He’s from the tv show Punk’d and I still feel like he’s pulling a fast one here. Kristen and Dax have been hanging out in Miami, where they celebrated New Year’s together at the Raleigh Hotel.

What better place to cuddle up to your sweetie than on the beach on New Year’s Day? Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell enjoyed their Miami beach surroundings with some public displays of affection.
The Punk’d hooligan (32) and his new girlfriend (27) looked happy to be together in 2008, and they didn’t care who saw them.
Kristen Bell is trying to keep her budding romance (first reported here) with funnyman Dax Shepard on the hush. Bell has been trying to hide from photographers while hanging out in LA with Dax, which is not an uncommon practice. But Kristen who is reportedly taking Dax as her New Year’s Eve date to the Raleigh Hotel in Miami is not prepared to let that cat out of the bag. Bell, who recently broke-up with her director fiancé Kevin Mann, is insisting that any promotions for the party don’t list the duo as a couple. Our source said, “She told event people they can put either her or Dax on the party announcements - but not both of them.”
Fueling rumors of a possible romance, Dax Shepard gave Kristen Bell a lift to have her car serviced in Los Angeles yesterday.
The Punk’d prankster was spotted helping the Heroes hottie take her Saturn Vue over to MasterCare Car Service for an undisclosed reason.
Continuing on with their whirlwind romance, Kate Hudson and Dax Shepard were spotted sharing a long embrace while on a trip to the local supermarket.
The You, Me and Dupree actress and the MTV Punk’d comedian have been linked for only a few short works, but they’ve already gotten Kate’s family worried that things are moving too quickly.
While staying in Boston for the filming of one of her many upcoming movies, Kate Hudson has been keeping busy with all three of her men.
And while son Ryder has been a mainstay, ex-husband Chris Robinson and current beau Dax Shepard are splitting time with the You, Me and Dupree actress.
Kate Hudson is enjoying a hot new relationship with fellow actor Dax Shephard, and was recently photographed in a full-on embrace with him while she was wearing a bikini. Of course that means that the tabloids are speculating that she’s neglecting her three year-old son, Ryder.
Supposedly Kate’s ex husband, Chris Robinson, is happy that he can now seen his son whenever he wants. I call bullshit on this article:

Kate’s representative, Brad Cafarelli, has denied the actress is neglecting Ryder because of her new romance, saying: “None of what you’re speculating here is accurate.”

Someone saw that picture of Kate and Dax kissing and/or the paparazzi know that Dax is over Kate’s house all the time. It’s probably not true that she’s ignoring her son as a result, and even if she is giving her ex more time with him, what’s wrong with that?
If she was keeping Ryder around while she was involved in her new relationship, someone would point out that it’s bad to have the kid get to know another boyfriend that might not last, as in her last relationship with Owen Wilson. As Kate’s rep points out, this is all speculation and it’s not known if this is even partially true.
Kate Hudson’s stepdad, Kurt Russell, is said to be the one who set her up with Dax. He met him a few months ago and immediately took a liking to him. Kurt introduced Dax to Kate at a barbecue in June. Dax is also friends with married mom Liv Tyler, with whom he stars in the upcoming film Smother.
