We’re used to seeing him parading around New York City in three-piece Italian suits, but yesterday Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was out in Los Angeles keeping it casual.
The hip hop mogul donned a baggy white t-shirt, black gym shorts, black socks, and black sandals along with an arm sling to help his presumably injured left arm.
When we woke up this morning, we thought it had been a mere dream. It wasn't...it wasn't. Sean Combs' latest spread in L'Uomo Vogue with his daughters D'Lila Star Combs and Jessie James Combs was a reality. But after thinking this photo through, we've come to an unexpected conclusion. It's all part of Diddy's master plan.
I admit I carry a soft spot for the one born Sean John Combs. With Diddy the good always seemed to outweigh the bad. Despite the amount of acrimony he's absorbed in his short time on this planet, Sean Combs will be one of those figures we look back on fondly. Even if you're just pretending to have a social conscience, hell, even if you're just pretending that you have lots of friends at your big party, it's tough to feel anything but a little bit sad for all the guy has gone through.
In the L'Uomo Vogue photo spread Diddy transcends mere fashion photography, offering a topless photo of his young daughters that echoes Alice in Wonderland author Lewis Carroll's considerable body of work in child photography (left). Of course, that was a time in which folks would put nude pictures of their children on Christmas cards, but Diddy's probably brilliant echoing of the Victorian era should not be lost on those who slam him for being a megalomaniac.
Like Carroll, the first wave of Diddy interpreters will judge wrongly, seeing a flawed artist who always wanted to be hard like his friends and spent the rest of his life compensating. But in the end Combs made some decent choices, amassing considerable millions and getting laid by a lot of different women. Diddy: Lewis Carroll would be proud. [The Superficial]
After seeing that performance Diddy has as much as a chance of winning the Oscar as Vanessa Minnillo. Can we say overacting?
Diddy’s a dumbass
Diddy stepped in a steaming pile of dog shit yesterday in New York. Awesome. Normally I’m against people not cleaning up after their pets, but in this case, I’d like to award that irresponsible dog owner a shiny medal.
How cute is Diddy with her twin girls D’Lila Star and Jessie James? It is nice to see a different side of him, but I am sure the Diddy we all know will be back before you are done reading this.

Diddy went on a much-publicized YouTube rant last week about the cost of gas. He claimed prices were so high, he quit using his private jet and started flying commercial. Except he doesn’t actually own a private jet. Details, details. The Palm Beach Post says:
A thorough review of federal records shows that no plane in this country is registered to a Sean Combs or any of the trend-setter’s numerous companies, including clothier Sean John and his music company, Bad Boy Entertainment.
One private aviation source scoffed: “It’s my jet this, my jet that, he’s just pretending. I have list of every plane with the name of the owner, and he’s not on it.”
Combs’ publicist says he owns a fraction of a jet. NetJets spokeswoman Maryann Aarseth confirmed that Combs is a fractional owner but did not provide the amount of his share or the tail number of the plane. Fractional owners pay for a limited number of flight hours on any company jet, according to NetJets.com.(Source)
I’ve got $6.27 still left in an old mutual fund I used to contribute to at my last job’s 401K plan. And since a mutual fund invests in hundreds of different companies’ stock, does that mean I own “fractional” amounts of McDonald’s, Microsoft, and Disney? If so, I’m going to take after Diddy and start telling that to chicks. Hopefully it’ll work better than my most recent pickup line: “Does this rag smell like chloroform to you?”
Last week we reported that Diddy had recorded a vlog on YouTube in which he said he had to stop using his personal jet because the price of gas was too high and he couldn’t afford it. He made several references to the fact that he owned a jet and left no doubt that he was claiming he did, saying:
“As you know, I do own my own jet and I have been having flying back and forth to LA pursuing my acting career.
“Now, if I’m flying back and forth, like, twice in a month that’s like $200,000 or $250,000 round trip. **** that. I’m back on American Airlines right now, OK.”
Diddy implored his “Saudi Arabian brothers and sisters” to “please send me some oil for my jet I would truly appreciate it.” [Emphasis added]
The thing is, Diddy doesn’t own that jet. He just owns a percentage of it, like a time share. And he overestimated the cost of flying by like 100% considering that it costs about $100,000 to fly coast to coast two times, not $200k or more.

The hip-hopper’s publicist in New York said Combs, 38, swears Combs is the fractional owner of a NetJets plane.
That company sells flight hours on private jets and calls it “fractional ownership.”

Boo hoo Diddy, you can’t afford your timeshare jet anymore! Time to go fly first class where your ass is catered to and you get more leg room than an entire five person family in coach! Asshole. Most people would be super grateful to even fly business class and you’re bitching about first class. What a shame. Meanwhile my family is rich - they get a whole week beachside in Miami every year. They may as well own the entire resort according to Diddy’s logic. Next they’ll be complaining that they can’t afford to pay the gas for that cruise ship they own - or did a five day jaunt on to the Caribbean - what’s the difference?

I guess I'd go with Diddy, since it's the simplest. But why can't he just be happy with Sean?
Diddy is a man with a big ego, believing that if sex was an Olympic event, he’d win gold. I actually believe this, since the prize usually goes to who comes first.
So I imagine it would be ego damaging for Diddy to have to fly commercial with the rest of us chumps who can’t afford the $200,000 it apparently costs him to fly cross country. He let loose his disappointment on a You Tube video. (Which is currently set to private.)

“But right now, can you believe it, I am actually flying commercial. That’s how high gas prices are ok, so I feel you. Look, I’m at the gate right now.
“This is proof that gas prices are too high, we need to do something about it, so tell whoever the next president is that we need to bring gas back down.”
As he boards his flight Combs tells the people around him that he is trying to prove he has been forced to “fly commercial”, stating what an unbelievable situation it was before holding up his plane ticket for the camera.
I love that Diddy is lamenting his need to fly commercial, and appealing to his oil rich ‘brothers and sisters’ to bail him out. Diddy, try and relax, and remember what good you’re doing for the environment by flying commercial. Try the strategy for people trying to quit smoking and imagine how you might spend the money that you save. If this fails, try joining the mile high club with a hot stewardess to remind yourself just how special you are.
The Telegraph points out that Diddy is said to be worth around $346million, so I’m pretty sure that even the commercial flying Diddy is flying first class. I don’t have a lot of sympathy for him. Maybe when he’s queuing for one of those internet deals where you don’t get seat allocation, with his kids in tow all screaming with boredom while the couple sitting nearby complain about them, I’ll have a smidgen of sympathy. Unless he’s sitting near me.

One of P. Diddy’s homeboys nearly got them in some major trouble with the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department over the weekend. TMZ reports that Sean “Puffy” Combs was driving down Sunset with his usual entourage early Sunday morning. One of the cars in his crew didn’t have proper tags and was pulled over by the coppers.
We’re told the other three cars in the entourage stopped as well. It’s Sheriff Dept. policy to call for backup when other cars linger at a traffic stop. Backup arrived and the driver of the second car became “extremely uncooperative,” to the point he had to be detained. At that point, Diddy and the remaining five or six members of the entourage got out of their cars and began walking toward the detained member of their posse.
That’s when one deputy drew his weapon, not knowing what the dudes were up to. We’re told at the time the weapon was drawn, deputies did not know Diddy was part of the group.
All turned out well, because the guy in the car with the improper plates was in a rental. It was much ado about nothing, until somebody made it something. Who was the a-hole here? Diddy’s man or the cop?
Despite reports that Sean "Diddy" Combs was set to marry singer Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura, the 21-year-old has just posted the following on her MySpace celeb blog:

Drunk driver hits Diddy’s Maybach
A drunk driver smashed into Diddy’s Maybach on Friday night outside Manhattan’s 1Oak nightclub. A new Maybach runs $426,000 — a bit more if you go for the nuclear engine instead of the V-12 — so, ya’ know, I hope the dude has insurance. According to TMZ, the guy that hit Diddy’s ride, Charles Lorenzo, was so drunk that he passed out face down on the street. I did the same thing at lunch last weekend after seeing the Sex and the City movie. I know you guys think I’m this tough dude and all because I’ve undefeated in cage matches, but I just can’t handle cosmos.

P. Diddy is dead - long live Puff Daddy!
Sean "Several Nicknames" Combs has officially changed his stage name back to "Puff Daddy", intoning "They call me Puff Daddy... he's back," at the beginning of his verse on the remix of O'Neal McKnight's "Check Your Coat". "Yeah you heard me right – I said Puff Daddy," Combs continues. "I'm about to back on that Puff Daddy sh*t."
The hip-hop mogul later confirmed the news via his MySpace blog, telling his fans that "your boy Puff Daddy" was back and reaffirming his claim on being "the King of the Remix".
What could have put Combs in such a paternal state of mind? All the time he's been spending with his darling daughters, perhaps?
Let's hope this is Puffy's last name-change for a while!
At this point, we may need a flow chart to keep track of the numerous moniker changes made by hip-hop producer/mogul Sean Combs. First, he was “Puffy.” Then, he was “Puff Daddy.” Then, post J.Lo era, he became “P.Diddy,” which was later shortened to “Diddy.” However, for his fashion label, he goes by “Sean John.” And when he’s doing film or TV roles, he uses his actual name, “Sean Combs.”
This is what we in the marketing world would call “brand confusion.” A classic example would be back in the 80s when Coca-Cola came out with two versions of Coke- New Coke and Coke classic. People got so confused over which one was the original Coke, sales of both beverages plummeted. (See, I DID pay attention in marketing class!) It looks like Combs may have finally realized that, and has decided to take back his original stage name.
So long P. Diddy, Diddy, Sean John, and Puffy.

Tracey Edmonds sure gets around. She was married to singer/producer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds for years, and used his fame to climb up the Hollywood ladder. Tracey hasn’t done a thing herself, she’s just famous for who she dates.
After she and Babyface divorced, Tracey began dating Eddie Murphy – right after he dumped Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown, who was pregnant with his baby. Murphy and Edmonds then kinda sorta married in a on a private island off Bora Bora. It wasn’t official – they would have to do that back in the States. But there was a big hullabaloo, and they released a statement saying they weren’t going to legally marry, and then broke up.
If you were hoping the doe-eyed social climber was off the radar after the Murphy embarrassment… unfortunately that doesn’t appear to be the case. Edmonds claims she’s dating P. Diddy, and that he’s twice the man Murphy was. I bet Scary Spice would agree.
P Diddy’s latest girlfriend really knows how to hit a guy where it hurts. Tracey Edmonds has only been out with the Didster a few times but already rates him more highly than ex-husband Eddie Murphy.
Tracey, 40, who split from Murphy in January after only two weeks of marriage, claims Diddy is wittier than the comedian. That’s gotta hurt.
At party near Cannes she said: “Diddy is the funniest man I’ve ever met. I’m so lucky to find someone so soon after Eddie.
“It’s early days - we’ve only been on three or four dates - but he’s whisked me off my feet. I don’t know about wedding bells but he’s definitely the man for me.”

The phrasing sure sound pretty contrived. But I love the idea that Diddy would ever bother to marry any woman. The man cheats on the women he’s cheating with. And then cheats on those women. I would bet that at any given moment, P Diddy is sleeping with seven different ladies, minimum. I have no idea what it would take for a woman to be the one he’d settle down with – but I’m absolutely positive that Tracey Edmonds doesn’t have it.
The pair have yet to be photographed together, even though they’re both in Cannes right now. Splash reports that they were seen shopping together at Gucci, but they don’t have any photos. I’m guessing that Diddy pulled Tracey into a coat closet a few times, and now she thinks they’re probably getting married. I bet she’s planning their faux island ceremony as we speak.

The Ciroc vodka suits are supposedly up in arms because they gave Diddy a $100 million deal to develop their brand, and yet the mogul is allegedly only drinking Tequila 1800 when he's out and about.
We wonder…why shouldn't Diddy freely enjoy his tequila?
Diddy lists Tequila 1800 as his favorite drink on his IMDB page and we even found a People story from back in 2004 that mentions the tequila is his bevvie of choice.
It's not like he's been caught drinking some other vodka brand!
C'mon…it's like expecting Tiger Woods to only drive Buicks when he's cruising out on the town.

Making his mark in Tinseltown, Sean “Diddy” Combs unveiled his Hollywood Walk of Fame star right in front of Los Angeles landmark Mann’s Chinese Theatre on Friday (May 2).
Accompanied by ex Kim Porter and his children, D’Lila Star, Jesse James and Christian, the hip-hop mogul was in high spirits as he reveled in his own success.
Diddy is getting a star today (Friday) on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Congrats!
Diddy does everything in over-the-top, high style and according to reports, he's making sure a big whoop-di-doo will be made out of this honor.
The man formerly know as Puffy says, "It's also like my coming-out party here in Hollywood. I don't have nothing to hide about that. If I'm going to come someplace, I'm going to make some noise, and you're going to know I'm here."
The streets of Hollywood will be teeming with Diddy superfans as he put a video online asking fans to show up for the star-unveiling, set to the tune of Lupe Fiasco's hit Superstar.
Also, family and friends from the block he grew up on in New York's Harlem neighborhood are set to join him at the ceremony.
Diddy is topping off this special day with an "intimate 250-person party" with "just very very close friends and family and people that I know throughout the industry" at Ron Burkle's mansion.
Where was our invite????
When asked about the fiesta's rumored $4 million cost, Diddy responds, "It's up there, but I can't confirm it's $4 million. It's priceless."
Ironically, when asked if he 'rewarded' himself with something for the star, Diddy answered, "We going through a recession right now, so I'm cutting back. Whatever I don't need, I'm just not buying it."

Diddy is so excited about getting star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, that he posted this video on YouTube and is inviting everyone to see him get it today at 11a by Mann’s Chinese theater! I think it is so adorable that he is so excited that he is getting his star today. For so long celebrities have been treating this as a PR commitment, that is so nice to see someone who is genuinely so excited to get it! I am not a big Diddy fan, but after this I have a whole new respect for him because of this.
So what name will be on the star? Sean Combs? Sean Puffy Combs? Puff Daddy? P Diddy? Diddy? or Sean John? (Did I get them all) Well he told Jimmy Kimmel last night on the show that he wanted to go with P Diddy, but his mom said no. So they compromised and he is going with Sean Diddy Combs. Hopefully we won’t have another name to call him, I was just getting used to Diddy!
So if you are in Hollywood today at 11a, go see him get his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!!!
Diddy partnered with MTV in a special to find a new intern for his Sean John clothing label. Sean John: Internship by Design will air April 12. It features four NYC design students participating in four challenges to design specific outfits to show Diddy. Are they all track suits? The occasional suit jacket?
Models will walk the catwalk in the students' creations to a live performance by Flo Rida. Judges for the competition include designer Zac Posen and Diddy himself.
Why do people always try and find their employees on TV? I know it brings them more bank, but it can't always work out. These people don't want to work for you, they want to be on TV! I'd be interested to see how many of these "winners" actually stick with the job and don't bang in sick the 2nd week and then quit to go do a Playboy "Women of Reality TV" pictorial.

I know you were all concerned. Diddy's representation is denying reports that he wants to now be known as "Sean John" which is the name of his clothing and fragrance line. Diddy has had an identity crisis since the 90's, and has been known as Puff Daddy, Puff, Puffy and P. Diddy, before shortening it to Diddy in 2005. I vote for "Capt. Self Important". His rep says that he will not be taking on the moniker of "Sean John" but he IS in the "Sean John" mode as he will be debuting the spring/summer line on February 8 in NYC. This guy is lapping Britney with the multiple personalities. Which one his personalities selected that jacket? The blind one? Damn. Did Janice Combs knit that for him for Christmas and he felt bad for not wearing it yet?

So Diddy is being sued for assault due to an altercation outside of an post-Oscar party last February. Several eyewitnesses backed up plaintiff Gerard Rechnitzer's claims of getting his ass beat in court papers filed on Wednesday. Diddy reportedly roughed up Rechnitzer outside Teddy's at the Roosevelt Hotel on Feb. 25. Witness Marianna Ruiz, who was with Rechnitzer's group, claimed "I just kind of remember seeing him go flying, not flying as in like feet off the ground, but he went back significantly,I was just in shock that somebody would ... just kind of strike somebody out of nowhere." Another witness testified that Diddy tried to spit on Rechnitzer. That's so foul. I'm all for the hitting and throwing people into taxis. But the only reason to spit on someone is if they hit your Mom or something. Or won't return your Buffy Season 3 DVD. Um, it's the season with Faith? Thank you.

This soiree is so big it’s being dubbed “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy.” A press release has been sent out hyping the event and celebs are expected.
The party is this Saturday in Atlanta, and Quincy has recorded a special song just for the event. Sounds like Diddy’s son to us!

While he’s been one of the most successful hip-hop artists/producers/franchisers in the history of the genre, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has also had his fair share of downfalls.
Most recently, the Sean John proprietor had a bit of a scuffle at a New York City nightclub. But he’s telling it like it is, rather than allowing the media to have their way with it.
Sean “Puffy” Combs got into a “physical altercation” (that’s PR fancy speak for a fight) with an old friend on October 13. Though it was widely reported at the time that the fight was over a girl (who wasn’t present) Puffy is now denying that claim. He’s saying it was just a fight – and he’s human, so he’s bound to get into them, and can he really help it? No. Apparently normal people get into fights all the time. According to Puffy. To be fair, we probably do, we just don’t punch people out in fancy NYC nightclubs. Or maybe that’s me.

I am going to get into an argument,” Combs told Access Hollywood. “I am making no denial about that, but I did not punch anybody.”
Earlier this month, a source told PEOPLE that Combs and Acevedo have known each other for more than 10 years, and said reports that the disagreement was over a woman were not true. “I’m staying focused on being a role model and you know, being somebody that all my grandmas and aunties out there can be proud of and tell their kids to look up to you, know what I’m saying,” he added. “I mean it is a part of celebrity … but it just wasn’t true.”

So his argument is that it’s not a big deal because he doesn’t get into fights over girls? I mean that’s a good thing and all, but to me the issue is that you knocked out another guy. Who you’d known for 10 years. That doesn’t exactly reek of classiness my friend.
Puff Doodle was on “The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch” last night, and came off as remarkably humble. I’m pretty sure it’s because he’s a good businessman and in show business, so he knows how to act. He’s never struck me that way before. He seemed relatively mild and soft-spoken. I was almost suckered in… and then he actually reached through the television and sucker punched me in the face. That’s when I remembered the golden rule: never trust Puffy not to punch you.

According to sources, Sean “Diddy” Combs was spotted Monday night having dinner at Butter in the Village with Steven Acevedo, the guy he punched twice Saturday night.

Earlier this week some hostess at GoldBar in New York had the nerve to ask rap mogul Sean Combs (aka Diddy aka the guy that claims to have had sex for 30 straight hours) how many people were in his party. I know, I know, the nerve of that bitch. Don’t worry, ho got what was coming to her. From the New York Post:
A witness outside downtown hot spot GoldBar the other night said, “He walked right up to the door girl with four other people in his crew. When she asked him how many people he was with, Diddy just called her a ‘Fucking bitch’ and opened the velvet rope and let himself through.” Reps for GoldBar and Combs declined to comment. (Source)
I’m actually glad this happened. For the past decade I haven’t known what to call this guy. Puff Daddy? P Diddy? Diddy? I’ve pretty much stopped talking about him altogether because I don’t want to seem too white and call him the wrong name. But now I can just call him Asshole. Or is it A Hole? Or maybe just Hole. Dammit! First math and now this, why does life have to be so damn tough!

Here's Diddy's ad for his new smell "Unforgiveable". I'm guessing it smells like new car smell, some sort of vaginal discharge and Beyonce's wig. The ad features Diddy turning model Jessica Gomez into a Muppet (do the math), and then having another woman rip off her underwear. So his fragrance smells like fisting and warring lesbians. He's putting it online since it got complained about when it was shown on MTV.
Despite bosses demanding that the commercial be heavily edited before it can be aired following outrage after it was debuted on MTV, Combs has instead released it on his MySpace page for people to view.In a statement about the Unforgiveable Woman perfume ad, he said: "I feel strongly that this movie needs to be viewed and judged by the public rather than by executives.
"Some people may be uncomfortable with the sensuality and sexual content, but it is important for them to make that decision personally."
