X17 spotted the motherchucker himself, Ed Westwick, after a photo shoot in NYC the yesterday. He's the new face of K-Swiss and we're told the ad will show the GG actor posing with tennis balls, rackets, and guitars and will hit mags in February. How very Chuck, minus the guitars ...
So on the the GG plot ... we have to admit, we're a little disappointed at how the Blair/Chuck storyline resolved itself. Kinda anti-climactic, no?
Literally!
And if any guy can pull it off, it's Chuck Bass Ed Westwick!
The Gossip Girl star was spotted on set in Brooklyn yesterday, arriving in a casual blue sweater before getting into costume... which, yes, was another sweater. Only this one looks a little preppy! Especially with that tie. Loves the colors!
And what's a GG post without the other hot guy on the show, Penn Badgley. Sorry Chace, but we like Penn better!
And I'm pretty sure Blake Lively does, too!

More bad news for financially strapped Ed McMahon: he’s being sued for non-payment of a debt by the company of his late friend, Merv Griffin. McMahon took out a $100k loan from Merv back in 2005, but so far he has never made a payment on it. Now that Griffin has passed away, it’s up to his company to collect the cash from McMahon- who is about to lose his home and is already being sued for $180,000 in credit card debt.
Court documents show a company founded by Merv Griffin is suing Ed McMahon for a $100,000 loan it claims has gone unpaid.
The Griffin Group Inc. claims it loaned the money to McMahon, Johnny Carson’s sidekick on the “Tonight” show, in 2005. The company filed the suit on Thursday and states that none of the loan has been repaid.
McMahon’s publicist didn’t directly address the lawsuit, instead asking, “Anybody wanna buy a nice house in The Summit?”
The quote is an allusion to McMahon’s hilltop home, which is facing foreclosure. The former pitchman also faces numerous other lawsuits filed on behalf of creditors.
Griffin, the longtime talk-show host who created “Jeopardy” and “Wheel of Fortune,” died in 2007.
This is evidence that Ed and his wife have been having financial problems for quite a while. But I think that if Merv Griffin were still alive, he wouldn’t be suing Ed McMahon over a hundred grand. Back in 1986, he sold his production company to Coca Cola for a cool $250 million, and while he never revealed what he was worth, it was estimated at the time of Merv’s death that he was a billionaire. So this lawsuit against a guy who is about to be put out of his house seems a little extreme. Way to kick a guy when he’s already down! What would Merv think?

At a time in his life when he should be playing golf and looking forward to visits with his grandkids, veteran Hollywood actor/side kick, Ed McMahon has been reduced to public embarrassment just to make ends meet. Ed has been hired to film a viral video for FreeCreditReport.com in which he raps, wears some ridiculous street clothes and trots around with some ho-licious girls.
I’m just going to assume you all know the story of how Ed so broke that he would take this shameful gig…if not Google it. It involves his wife and a serious shopping addiction.
ET will have some early clips of Ed and his honies and the sure to be stuck in your head jingle on Friday’s show. On a postive note, Ed and the catch tune that is sure to come along with this commercial will no doubt be etched in our minds forever more. A’la the “Where’s the Beef?” lady

Elderly and indebted Ed MacMahon was once Hollywood royalty. He was Johnny Carson’s sidekick for 30 years and was the producer of such hit shows as Star Search and TV Bloopers & Practical Jokes. Today, Ed is a high-end victim of the real estate crunch, and owes $644,000 in back payments on his home while being sued for racking up more than $180,000 in credit card debt. Since his days of announcing or handing out giant checks for Publisher’s Clearing House are long gone, McMahon has resorted to rapping in a new series of viral videos for the company FreeCreditReport.com. Oh, the humanity.
Ed McMahon has an unexpected new job title: rapper.
The 85-year-old former “Tonight Show” sidekick will star in two viral rap videos for FreeCreditReport.com, a financial Web site owned by credit bureau Experian. The videos feature McMahon wearing a tracksuit, being chauffeured around Los Angeles in a Cadillac Escalade golf cart and waxing lyrical about his very public financial troubles.
“I knew I could sing the blues, but I didn’t know I could rap,” McMahon said Wednesday.
The videos will appear online in October.
Charles Harris, FreeCreditReport.com’s vice president of strategic marketing, said the company sought out McMahon to star in the humorous spots after seeing him openly discuss his finances on “Larry King Live.” Harris said McMahon represents “a man who is taking charge.”
In the first video, McMahon _ who once pitched the American Family Publishing sweepstakes _ and a bodyguard are cruising through a neighborhood looking for sweepstakes winners to ask for some money back, but McMahon doesn’t actually go through with it. In the second spot, McMahon dons a new suit after undergoing a financial and emotional makeover.
“When I retired, I was famous,” McMahon raps in the video. “I had money and glory/I bought a house for 6 mill/I thought nothing could touch me/Until my credit went south, and debt started to crunch me/Next thing I know, instead of playing gin rummy, I was scrambling just to make ends meet/It wasn’t funny.”
After being joined by two scantily clad women, McMahon continues: “Got a bump from the media chumps, but that was temporary/Wife with bad credit was scary, so I got wise/I may have fallen, but I got back up/Now I’m back on the attack, like a ninja swinging nunchucks/I told the haters, ‘Go on, take a hike’/It’s my show now, and I can do what I like.”
McMahon said he spent one day in the studio recording the rap. He said he hopes his participation will inspire viewers to learn from his mistakes and become more aware about their finances.
When asked if he would consider releasing a full-length rap album, McMahon said: “Not immediately.”
Well, I’ll say this for the guy: at least he can keep his sense of humor. Looks like he is cashing in on what’s left of his fame to keep himself afloat financially. I do have to wonder about the line in his “rap” referring to his “wife with bad credit.” Speculation has been swirling for some time that his much younger wife, Pam, is at the root of much of McMahon’s financial woes. Apparently, Pam takes the term “retail therapy” to a whole new level.

It seems that concertgoers got a little more show than they bargained for at the Kings Of Leon concert Tuesday night. According to an eyewitness, Drew Barrymore and Ed Westwick were “all over each other.”
Still healing from her broken relationship with Justin Long, the “Charlie’s Angels” babe seems to have found a welcome distraction in the “Gossip Girl” stud.

This is not a joke.

They’re the male eye candy of the hit teen drama Gossip Girl, and yesterday Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, and Penn Badgley were hard at work in New York City.
The three studs were spotted filming scenes for the upcoming season of GG on the campus of Columbia University, all sporting uber-trendy outfits and having a great time.
Following a night out at the clubs last evening, soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo headed out bright and early for a shopping spree at Ed Hardy in West Hollywood on Tuesday (July 22).
Looking as if he laid out in the sun a bit too long, the Manchester United hunk browsed through the shop’s selection before settling on a few items and heading off to his next stop.
Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick, who celebrated his 21st(!) birthday in Las Vegas at Tao last weekend...
...or Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, celebrating her 30th b-day at LAX in LV the same weekend?
Mmm, that's a tough one - neither of 'em are super-sexy!
Don't forget to add Khloe Kardashian and Juliette Lewis to the mix - everyone was in Vegas celebrating their birthdays this weekend!
He’s considered one of the hottest guys on television. And last night, Ed Westwick had a celebrity-sized celebration for his 21st birthday at TAO Night Club inside the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
The “Gossip Girl” stud was all decked out for the evening, looking festive in a black suit with a white button-up shirt and black tie as he posed for the paparazzi outside the shindig.
The new season of Gossip Girl is sure to be a winner, building on the greatness of this past season. And though their characters broke up during the season finale, it looks like Blake Lively and Penn Badgley will be reunited onscreen.
The real-life lovers were spotted filming some scenes for the new season of Gossip Girl, looking mighty cozy as they made out on the beach.
Paris Hilton’s “dog friendly” reputation has gone down the shitter with numerous rumors of her neglecting pets, and apparently the employees at The Puppy Store on Melrose Avenue were aware of this. Last weekend Paris was headed to a photo shoot and decided, out of the blue, that she wanted a puppy because she thought the pictures would be “cuter”. The dumbass went into the pet store, probably strutted around the room a couple of times and quickly decided she wanted a Yorkshire Terrier. The store’s employee, not wanting to see an animal go to someone who would make such a decision on impulse, refused to sell the dog to her. Paris blew a gasket, screaming, “I love my puppies! I want my baby!” and left without a dog.
Rumor has it Ed McMahon’s wife of 16 years, Pamela McMahon, is spending her husband’s money hand over fist. She loves to shop and apparently acts completely unaware of their financial problems. Just on one AmEx card alone they owe $750K. Although many of Ed’s friends and colleagues would like to help him out financially, they worry that it will only encourage Pamela to keep spending freely. Sadly, Donald Trump is using Ed’s money problems to gain publicity for himself, announcing loudly to the public that he wants to help the 85-year-old. However, he has only said this to the cameras . . not Ed. A source close to Ed hinted, “people who are talking publicly aren’t necessarily the ones who are helping.”
Queen Latifah, 38, who has been a Jenny Craig spokesperson since January, is inspiring plus sized women to lead healthy lifestyles. She says she initially signed up, not to get skinny, but instead to get healthy. “My intention was to lose five to 10 percent of my body weight because it makes a difference with health related issues, and I achieved that goal in a couple of months. I’m excited about this weight loss.” Latifah is also going to the gym five to seven days a week, switching between the treadmill or elliptical machine. “My jeans are looser, I feel more energetic. People dig it. They come up to me and say ‘I’m glad you’re talking about the health side of it.’ People get that message, which is important too. They see that I’m doing this for the health reasons but also say, ‘She’s still representing for the big girls. She hasn’t abandoned us!’ This is me doing something for me, but if I am going to be a role model I hope people can catch on.”
Gavin Rossdale recently said that his pregnant wife Gwen Steffani is under tremendous pressure by the media to lose the baby weight once she gives birth. Gwen is due with the couple’s second child this summer. Gavin says he feels terrible that his wife has to worry about it. “Yeah, she does (feel under pressure). I mean, she’s just so dedicated and she’s just amazing with that stuff (weight loss). It’s very hard because everyone’s so judged the whole time.”
Back in Los Angeles following a promotional trip to New York City, Heidi Montag and boyfriend Spencer Pratt looked the picture perfect couple as they toured the Ed Hardy Factory in Culver City with designer Christian Audigier and his son.
According to paparazzi on the scene, the Hills co-star lovers enjoyed a meal, looked over new designs, and were treated to a live performance by up and coming singer/dancer “Dejuan" and his brother “Prince Sync”, who are making moves in the music industry and are backed by Heidi and Spencer.

It doesn't look like there were all that many stars out for the premiere of The Incredible Hulk starring Ed Norton. Aside from him and his co-star Liv Tyler, it looks like there was a pretty paltry assortment of faces on the red carpet.
And what is up with the one-shoulder dresses with giant bows? Sorry, but I'm not a fan. As much as I love Alison Sweeney, I'm going to have to pass on that dress of hers. It looks like the Hulk started sewing it, lost his temper partway through and ripped off the bottom half.
Norton, who had been warring with studio executives over the creative vision for the film (which he wrote) said of the final cut, "I haven't actually got to see the finished, finished product." He was probably so over it by then. Meanwhile, my love for Lou Ferrigno has never died.
9 more photos from the Incredible Hulk premiere (Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Jon Favreau, Tim Roth, Lou Ferrigno, Kevin Sorbo, Rachel Fox, Stan Lee, Aimee Garcia) after the jump.
Restaurants and bars in Liberty City are like other landmarks based on places in New York, the real-world city on which the universe of the latest Grand Theft Auto game is based. The names, locations and designs are all slightly off, like a riddle made for trivia-night nerds. Ed Levine has risen to the challenge. Liberty City's rowdy Steinway (here's the video) is pretty clearly based on Astoria's Bohemian Beer Garden. But Levine, a food blogger, has identified possible models for half a dozen virtual eateries and drinking holes—even this bland and Starbucks-like coffee shop which he places in a gamer's version of Midtown's Rockefeller Center. British singer Lily Allen, 22, who had a miscarriage on New Years, has been dumped by her boyfriend, Chemical Brother’s member Ed Simons, 37. The pair’s relationship grew strained after the miscarriage, and though they made some attempts to save it, eventually it was a lost cause. Lily became pregnant after they’d only been dating a month.
The Smile singer, 22 - who suffered a New Year miscarriage - was last night said to be heartbroken. The couple’s five-month relationship hit the rocks as they battled their grief by taking a £3,000-a-night holiday in the Maldives.
They tried to patch things up on their return to the UK - but following a series of bitter rows millionaire Ed, 37, told her: “It’s over.” A pal of Lily’s confirmed last night: “They tried to make things work but couldn’t. The miscarriage was a horrible experience for both of them - and in recent weeks the mood between them had been really strained.”
The friend went on: “Lily is really upset things haven’t worked out for her and Ed. She had talked about settling down for good and having a family.
[From the Sun]
Lily obviously has a lot to deal with right now. Having a miscarriage must be awful, and breaking up with someone you care about is just salt in the wound. They do have a 15 year age difference, which can be a lot, especially at their respective points in life. Handling something as complicated as a pregnancy - and a miscarriage - is challenging in any relationship, but must have been extra hard in one so new.

22 year-old British songstress Lily Allen is pregnant with her first child, at least according to questionable source The Sun. They say that Allen and her boyfriend of three months, Ed Simons from the group Chemical Brothers, 37, are expecting a baby and that they’re both looking forward to it. The happy couple supposedly told their friends and family.
POP star LILY ALLEN is all smiles after discovering she is pregnant with her first child, The Sun can reveal.
The 22-year-old singer found she was expecting last month, but has only revealed the news to close family.
She and CHEMICAL BROTHER boyfriend ED SIMONS, 37, are delighted.
A source close to the singer said: “Lily is thrilled to be pregnant and can’t wait to become a mum. She’s a real family person.
“Ed’s very happy. He is really looking after her.”
The Smile singer has been dating Ed - who is 15 years her senior - since September.
[From The Sun]
22 is pretty young to get pregnant, but Allen seems like she has a good head on her shoulders and she strikes me as the type that will make a great mom.
Allen has had some minor mishaps - she’s been photographed out drunk with her friends and once kicked a photographer, but she seems like a realistic person who is grateful for her success. On her blog on myspace she talks about how lucky and amazed she is at the good fortune she is having in life. It’s really refreshing to see that she doesn’t have a sense of entitlement or feel that success and luxury are somehow owed to her.
She’s only been with her boyfriend for a few short months, but I can see her making it all work. She recently said that she’s only going to do one more album and that after that she might want to retire to raise “chickens and pigs.” Maybe she’ll be raising children instead.
There was a big debate on the Jessica Alba post whether unmarried pregnant celebrities set a bad example for teen girls by having children too young and out of wedlock. You can certainly point a finger at Jamie Lynn Spears, the star of a show aimed at tweens, for getting pregnant at the tender age of 16, but five years makes a big difference, and I wouldn’t judge Allen for it if this news is true.
Lily Allen is shown outside the Chanel show in London on 12/6/07. Ed Simon is shown in a promo shot for the Chemical Brothers below.
Update: Allen has confirmed her pregnancy through her rep. She was photographed out smoking on 12/4/07, but her spokesperson says she wasn’t aware she was pregnant at that time.

Ed Harris is back in the news and I say it’s about damn time! The actor made a complete ass of himself at Heathrow Airport earlier this week after security officers discovered him trying to bring a knife through a checkpoint. A source told the Mirror UK:
“Every passenger is subject to monitoring and revealing what is in their pockets. Harris lobbed his keys on to a table in front of security staff and the coins in his pocket went everywhere. He actually threw his wallet on the floor. His crass, childish behaviour only ensured that they gave him their full attention.
“When a lock-knife was found on Harris, they immediately called the police to take care of him. He was taken away and only then did he realise the full seriousness of what was going on. Harris was left to calm down and then questioned for hours. He missed his flight and realised what he’d done was stupid. I don’t think he will be quite so arrogant or stupid when flying in future.” (Source)
I can empathize with Ed–I carry a lethal weapon, too, though I keep it in my pants instead of a bag. And it more “makes” people than kills them. Speaking of which, why the hell IS child support so damn expensive? A potato sack can be just as fashionable as a new pair of jeans. And don’t even get me started on its versatility.
