Stepping out for the day, Kate Winslet was spotted hailing a cab in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan on Monday (November 3).
The award winning actress is currently enjoying a little downtime before she gears up to promote “Revolutionary Road” alongside co-star Leonardo DiCaprio in a few short months.
See that guy stuffing his face like he hasn’t eaten in weeks, even though it looks like he just downed a small village? Well, he’s an idiot. He’s also a rapper named Fat Joe and he is awfully proud that he beat someone up.
RAPPER Fat Joe likes to run his fat mouth. The Grammy winner gives a blow-by-blow account of a fistfight he had in a North Carolina hotel room with Brooklyn rapper Papoose in the new Hip Hop Weekly, on stands today. “We pounded him out, we pounded his DJ out. His DJ went to the hospital,” Joe says. “His right-hand man’s lip looked like a 18-wheeler’s tire. He’s [Papoose] balled up in the corner. I’m thinkin’ he learned his lesson, but I’m noticing now you gotta really comatose these dudes for them to really learn.”
Papoose? Seriously, is that his name? I think the most idiotic thing here is that Fat Joe is almost 40 and this Papoon dude is almost 30 and they are still acting like 14 year olds. It’s also sad that this whale is bragging because you know the reality is that his security team did all the fighting while he was putting more mustard on his foot long.

Paul Thomas Anderson, the auteur behind There Will Be Blood, recently had some angry words for Carpetbagger and delightful character David Carr. Anderson, who "can be a real arrogant brat", evidently flipped out on Carr when he overheard Carr saying that Blood wasn't his absolute, super-ist favorite movie of the year. "You know you don't know a fucking thing about movies!" he shrieked at "the Bagger", and added, cryptically, "[Blood is] the best movie of the year. Except for maybe Juno. And Clayton. And Atonement. Other than that, it was the best movie of the year." Well, I guess that's rather diplomatic of him. Though he's still an asshole: "You really think No Country for Old Men...that movie was better than ours? C'mon, do you really believe that?" Yup. A glorious, gifted asshole. Maybe he could take some lessons from Carr, who used to be quite the hard partier, on calming down and being cool. We think Carr's pretty good at it.
