While it may be hard to imagine the guy who plays Borat creating such a cute little baby, his daughter Olive is living proof.
And babymamma Isla Fisher was spotted out for a stroll with her 10-month-old cutie, enjoying the beautiful weather in Westwood, California.
“Borat” star Sacha Baron Cohen is finding himself in the unpleasant position of being caught between his traditional Jewish parents and his modern working mom fiancee, actress Isla Fisher. The pair have been engaged for quite some time and now have a daughter, Olive. However, Cohen’s parents- particularly his mother- have insisted that the couple cannot wed until Isla has converted to Judaism. But Isla has been focused on her baby and burgeoning film career, putting her Jewish studies on the back burner- which means the wedding, originally scheduled for late summer, is now postponed indefinitely.
A source said: ‘Isla was supposed to spend her time after giving birth hard at work on her Torah studies, and that’s gone far slower than expected.
‘It’s very much frustrated her future in-laws, especially Sacha’s mother, who were really hoping for a wedding this summer.’
The source added: ‘Right now there’s no wedding date set because Isla hasn’t fully converted yet, and even though she’s working at it part-time, she’s far from being close to completing her studies.’
Isla, who has spent most of this summer filming her upcoming project Confessions Of A Shopaholic, is said to have a tense relationship with Sacha’s mother, Daniella.
The source said: ‘What made relations difficult between Isla and Sacha’s mother is that she really wanted Isla to spend more time with the baby and their family in England instead of being hasty and returning to work so quickly.
‘Now that Isla’s done shooting, she’s in the awkward position of making up for lost time.’
To this end, the Australian-born actress, who found fame in Home And Away in the Nineties, is spending increasing amounts of time with her in-laws in Britain, in an apparent effort to endear herself to them.
Meanwhile the notoriously reclusive Baron Cohen, 36, is patiently playing peacemaker between his wife and mother.
Instead of wedding preparations, he has channelled his energies into work, chalking up long hours on his new reality-based film Bruno, which has nearly completed filming and will be released worldwide next summer.
The source said: ‘Sacha is not as worried about the relationship between his parents and Isla as everyone else is because he’s extremely devoted to her and their child.
‘He also believes that putting too much pressure on Isla is only going to make the wedding happen later rather than sooner.
‘He is happy taking his time to get married the same way he was happy having a long engagement.
‘But in the meantime Isla’s had to endure a lot of awkward moments with Sacha’s mother, who just doesn’t seem to understand her future daughter-in-law’s drive to become a big star.’
For Isla’s part, the actress is said to be looking forward to becoming a Cohen.
The source said: ‘No matter what Sacha’s mother throws at her, Isla isn’t going to be scared away from the relationship or the family.
‘You really get the sense that her devotion to Sacha is total, even if she’s stalled a little bit on her Jewish studies. She loves sharing her life with this guy.’
That mother sounds like a nightmare. And if Sacha were smart he’d put her in her place and make it clear that HE’S the one getting married to Isla, not the rest of the family. It’s setting a dangerous precedent to let the parents dictate the terms of the marriage, because then it never stops. Best of luck to Isla, and I hope the couple can work this out.

I love this! Isla Fisher--seen here on the set of Confessions of a Shopaholicis dressed in an ensemble that is so purposely wacky that I'm completely and utterly smitten with it. She looks like a real-life Barbie doll I used to have because of her red hair, namely one hot-ass named Diva from Barbie and the Rockers.
Plus, Isla's so playful in this outfit, you can totally tell she's just having fun and isn't trying to front like it's anything less than silly. Unlike this one, whom I love, but seriously needs to stop acting like these clothes are for real.

Perky actress Isla Fisher braved the harsh winter weather in New York City with a beaming smile on her face. Borat's babymamma is in town shooting Confessions of a Shopaholic with baby Olive by her side.

The Daily Mail did a nice story and interview on actress Isla Fisher who is promoting her latest romantic comedy, Definitely, Maybe. The 32-year-old Fisher is an interesting and funny interview and has a very interesting life. She has been a working actress since age 16, has some nice film credits and just in case things slow down she has sold two comedy scripts to major Hollywood studios, has voiced one of the characters for the forthcoming Dr Seuss movie, Horton Hears A Who!, and is due to start filming Confessions Of A Shopaholic (based on Sophie Kinsella’s bestseller), as the lead character, Rebecca Bloomwood. Her private life is busy as well. She has been engaged to Sacha Baron Cohen, better-known-as Borat, since 2004. The couple, have a three-month-old daughter Olive. Here are some quotes from the interview:
On breaking in to Hollywood: “When I did my first audition for the movie Scooby Doo, they flew me to America first class,” she remembers.
“At the time, I didn’t have any money and then I was flown to LA and put up at the Mondrian Hotel. It was like landing on Mars!”
On converted to Judaism in keeping with Baron Cohen, a devout member of the Jewish faith: ”I love religions and find them fascinating and I find Judaism very beautiful,” she says. “It’s enriched my life enormously.”
On making wedding plans (engaged since 2004): “I’m thinking of not inviting Owen and Vince so I can see whether they can crash our wedding,” she co-starred with them in the 2005 blockbuster hit Wedding Crashers.
On why people take her picture: “We’re starting to have our pictures taken a little more often now, probably because Sacha’s so tall (6ft 3in) while I’m so small (5ft 2in), I’m like a circus freak!”
On living in Hollywood: “Oh, I always thought I’d be living in Hollywood, in a seven-bedroom house with a massive swimming pool. It’s just that when I imagined it, I always thought I’d be the maid.”
On why she won’t talk about daughter Olive: “You know, motherhood is my favourite topic in my personal life and I won’t shut up about it, but it’s not something I want to discuss publicly just because of the amount of attention it draws to a small person who didn’t choose to be exposed.”
On her new romantic comedy Definitely, Maybe: “I think some of the slick, Hollywood romantic comedies where you know in the first act who’s going to end up with who aren’t realistic, but this is definitely a realistic story where all the women are just normal people who are flawed.
“Would my past relationships have made brilliant romantic comedies?” She laughs.
“Comedies, maybe.”

She’s certainly not the first woman to have a video of her sexual activities leak out to the public, but Amy Fisher says she isn’t trying to make any money off of the mishap.
Embroiled in controversy from a young age (in her teenage years she was jailed for shooting Joey Buttafuoco’s wife in the head) Fisher had since been released from jail and married 57-year-old Lou Bellera.
Today seems to really have just two themes, in terms of celebrity gossip. Crazy people and sex tapes. Though to be fair, that tends to be how most days are in the celebrity world, it’s just normally not so obvious. In slightly more random “celebrities,” remember Amy Fisher, the Long Island Lolita? Well she’s got her own sex tape. It turns out she recently reconnected with all-around catch Joey Buttafuoco. He’s the mechanic who she dated as a sixteen-year-old in the early nineties, and then shot his wife Mary Jo in the face.
Fisher’s husband filed for divorce and released their sex tape in retaliation. The pair have reconciled, and instead of going through the hassle of getting the tape removed from circulation, Fisher chose to just take some cash and roll with it.
When Amy Fisher publicly rekindled her romance with Joey Buttafuoco, her then-estranged husband, Lou Bellara, released a sex tape of himself and Fisher in retaliation. The sex tape video has already been leaked all over the net and is number one in porn tape downloads, so Amy Fisher has decided that instead of fighting a losing battle, she is going to make the best of the situation and endorse the sex tape so she can make some money.
“My husband, you know, released this. And you know what? It’s out there. I have two choices. I can sit there and say, it doesn’t exist, which it does exist, you know. Or I can do the intelligent thing.” Which for Fisher means making the best of the situation and making money.

Well, I guess there’s something to be said for just going with the flow. I had no idea that Amy had hooked up with Buttafuoco again. Two years ago Entertainment Tonight or the Insider (they all blend together anymore) did some really annoying series of interviews where they brought Fisher and Buttafuoco together for the first time and taped their ranting confrontations. They managed to stretch it out into segments over two weeks or something. Apparently hiding under all that anger was a lot of love… or a lot of psychosis. I can’t really blame Fisher’s husband for being pissed. It really is making the best of the situation: now they have her bail money for the next person she shoots in the face.

When you think of “Borat” actor Sacha Baron Cohen, you don’t initially think “doting father.” However, the British comedian and his fiancé Isla Fisher looked elated as they showed off their daughter Olive yesterday.
The Ali G actor and the Wedding Crashers babe were leaving the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills when the waiting paparazzi snagged some adorable shots.
The details were initially hazy about the birth of Sacha Baron Cohen and his fiance Isla Fisher’s first baby last month. Reports in Fisher’s native Australia declared correctly that the pair had a girl, but the exact date and place of the birth was unknown. Later rumors had their baby a boy, with the name incorrectly given as “Sandler James.”
It turns out that the Borat comedian and his fiance did have a girl last month, and that her name is Olive. Instead of opting for a high-paid magazine reveal, the hilarious impersonator and his lovely girlfriend decided to let the paparazzi take pictures yesterday as they stood outside a hotel. They looked happy and relaxed, smiling and showing the baby. Their good friends Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber also decided to debut their newborn by letting photographers have unpaid access to pictures. Naomi showed off little Alexander Pete Schreiber to paparazzi when he was two weeks old.
Isla looks incredible, and their baby is so cute! Babies are so adorable at that age. I remember an elderly woman coming up to my husband and me when our son was a month old and telling us how fast it all went. Now that he’s three I realize how right she was.
Baron Cohen will next appear in the film Bruno, in which he dupes people with his alter ego, a flaming Austrian talk show host. Fisher says she intends to be a stay-at-home mom.

Amy Fisher—sassy lacy lover, snooty wife-shooter and would-be porn film star—had just told Page Six that she was ready to forgive her once-estranged and now-embraced husband Lou Bellera's filming and distribution of their sexual exploits. But according to TMZ, that's not so. Now the Long Island Lolita has filed suit in a misguided attempt to maintain her honor and block the release of the video.
In the lawsuit, Fisher maintains that she "co-produced and co-directed the "Subject Works." and even "arranged for Bellera to hold the video recorder to record private sexual activities at Plaintiffs direction."
Who knew Fisher was such a hands-on purist, so devoted to her craft that she can't stand to see it debased so? It reminds me of the time Ingmar Bergman protested against the post-production editing of Fanny and Alexander, claiming it ruined his masterpiece!
But despite Fisher's modesty, she's also pretty business savvy. Later in the suit, she demands not only damages but any profits from the sale of the DVD. Looks like Fisher wants to get it from both sides!
Amy Fisher is a 34-year-old ex-con with a bad tattoo around her navel and a world-wary (yes! Like a little goat!) face. But to some, she will always be Lolita. (At least in Suffolk County.) You might not have seen so much of Ms. Fisher since she was fired from her job in 2005 as a columnist for the Long Island Press. But you're possibly about to see all of her!
It seems her her weirdly Buttafuoacian, gray-haired, burly husband, a "videographer" (though IMDB has never heard of him), by the name of Lou Bellera sold a video of the two lovemaking to Red Light District Video.
The video is inventively titled "Amy Fisher Caught on Tape." (Google shows no record of it, and it's not up on that porn site. Yet.) Supposedly Bellera did it behind her back while she was dating Joey Buttafuoco again as a "a vehicle to strike back at her." But guess what? She'll forgive him! How sweet it is when self-promotion and true love converge.
