Last month, Anne Hathaway revealed that she was dating a new “sexy” man who really had “it going on,” who was later revealed to be actor Adam Shulman.
With Anne Hathaway’s ex beau, blue-blood wannabe Raffaello Follieri, safely behind bars for four and half years, it seems she had moved on to greener pastors.
Recently the “Devil Wears Prada” actress has been spotted vacationing with actor Adam Shulman in New Orleans.
But insiders tell the New York Post that Shulman is not much of an improvement from Follieri, saying:
“Adam is known as an opportunist. When he was at Brown [University], he went after all the heiresses. It’s like Anne is addicted to losers.”
It is interesting that Anne’s initial reluctance to talk about her budding romance, was said to be partly down to the fact Adam, was already in relationship when they met. Some social climbing? And it was Adam that spilled the beans confirming he was in a relationship with Anne at a screening for her new movie ‘Rachel Getting Married’, saying: “We met through mutual friends. I came to support Anne. We’ve never been to New Orleans before - it’s our first time.”
Anne Hathaway’s former love Raffaello Follieri was sentenced in Manhattan federal court today (Thursday) to 4½ years in prison. Follieri and Hathaway, dated for four years but split in June just before his arrest, which raised a lot of eyebrows.

A further development in the plea bargain arrangement for Raffaello Follieri, who pleaded guilty in to 14 counts of wire fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud, and money laundering in a Manhattan Federal court on Wednesday. The Italian businessman was arrested on 24 June (08) - shortly after his split from Hathaway - and accused of operating a scheme between 2005 and 2007 allowing him to purchase unwanted U.S. properties owned by the Catholic Church.
