Matthew McConaughey has modeled for Stetson, he's a spokesperson for the National Cattleman's Beef Association, and oh yeah, he's acted in dozens of films, and now, the hunky DILF is adding another gig to his resume: record exec!
Matty wants to start a record label, and according to a source for the New York Post, "He's looking for a distribution deal with all the major labels for his own label. His first artist is a reggae guy called Mishka. The album will be called Above the Bones and the first single is Here Comes Da Train. He's also doing the soundtrack for Surfer Dude." In addition to doing the soundtrack for Surfer Dude, McConaughey stars in the film and is also listed as a producer.
A representative for McConaughey's confirmed the story but added, "There is no single yet."
What's next, a Matthew McConaughey clothing line? His lady Camila Alves already has her own purse line!

Matthew McConaughey has revealed to OK! Magazine the name of his newborn son as, Levi Alves McConaughey.
Matt explains’s the name’s significance, saying: “Levi was another name for the apostle Matthew in The Bible. They were, in fact, two names for the same person. Our son was born at 6:22 pm, and this particular time represents my favorite verse in the book of Matthew in The Bible: ‘If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light.’”
Baby Levi’s middle name is taken directly from his mother Camila’s last name. “We wanted to incorporate her family name,” explains the proud new father.
To all the well-wishers and fans, Matthew and Camila have also released the following statement:
“We welcome Levi Alves McConaughey into this wonderful life and look forward to living in it with him. In the mean time and all times, just keep livin’.”

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves had a baby boy yesterday.
"A healthy baby boy was born," Matthew tells OK! in an exclusive statement. "Camila and I were side by side the entire time. We are both tired and elated, and are so happy to have created the greatest miracle in the world — Having a child and making a family. Now comes the greatest adventure — raising one, together."
No name was released for the future drum playing surfer, but he came into the world weighing 7 lbs, 4 oz. And since OK! got the exclusive from him, you know they are going to have the first pictures of him.
BTW wouldn't it be cute if some day he started dating Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, since they were born on the same day.

While the world awaits for the arrival of Brangelina's twins in France, back here in LA, another celebrity couple is getting ready to welcome their own bundle of joy!
Due sometime this month (although from the size of her belly, we'd have to hope it's within the next week or so), Matt and Camila stepped out yesterday for a doctor's appointment.
Hopefully all is looking good and they can expect their little one (said to be a boy) to arrive soon!

Despite the fact that some locals showed up with flowers for the photogs in an effort to promote peace between the two groups, the Malibu Sheriff's department still felt the need to restrict the paps' access to the beach, saying their presence was a "public safety concern." We find it interesting that they refused to allow hard- working folks (who pay taxes) onto a public beach, yet made no attempts to confront the locals drinking alcohol on said beach (a Malibu no-no). Does that seem fair? It seemed all good in the hood, so why the restriction?

He was so wasted that he was reportedly hitting on females all around. Does his pregnant girlfriend know????
The actor was even found later on looking through a sewage ditch saying he lost his flip-flop sandals.
A source says, "Matt was so out of it when they reached the resort that the two guys had to carry him to his villa. They used his key, took him inside and put him to bed, then left — but they left the door unlocked."
Later that night, someone entered his villa while he was passed out and stole $2,000 and his blackberry phone.
The source adds, "Matt didn't report it to the local authorities. I guess he just considered it a lesson learned."
Yeah, a lesson he should have learned a long time ago!
Next time you drink too much, make sure you're with some trustworthy friends.

Surfers Attack Paparazzi Oogling at Matthew McConaughey

A group of surfers weren’t too happy when paparazzi came onto the beach in Malibu in hopes of catching a shot of Matthew McConaughey.
As the paparazzi filmed McConaughey surfing and waited for him to return to the beach, a group of pissed off, drunk young men approached them.
The young men get all worked up and do that testosterone thing that young punkasses do after a few free-flowing half racks of Pabst. Like a pack of dogs they approached the paps.
“We’ll draw a line in the beach, and we’ll fight for the beach. If you guys win, you can have the beach,” said one of the guys. The insults flew back and forth between the two groups of men and before you know it things got out of hand. Women on the beach are freaking out and one photographer who tried to stand his ground was soon on the receiving end of some pop shots - his camera eventually being thrown into the water.

Matthew McConaughey in Nicaragua (6/6)With his pregnant fiancée Camila Alves sitting at home, Matthew McConaughey got blitzed on a surfing vacation earlier this month in Nicaragua. An eyewitness at a bar the actor happened by told Star magazine:
“He was acting like an out-of-control 18-year-old. He already seemed to be drunk when he arrived alone, and he only got worse from there on. He was putting the make on every woman in his path, throwing his arms around them and trying to kiss them, and trying to dirty-dance with a few out on the floor. But he was a mess, slurring his words and stumbling around. A few minutes after he finally left the bar, someone found him searching through a sewage ditch outside. When they asked him what he was doing, he mumbled, ‘I’ve lost my flip-flops!’” (Source)
After recent flops like Fool’s Gold and Sahara, if Matthew was digging around in the sewage ditch for anything, it was his career. That aside, can you blame the guy for wanting fresh poon? We've spent the last few months publicly wondering when Matthew McConaughey's main squeeze Camilla Alves would be giving birth - so imagine our surprise when we caught the couple heading into a hospital earlier today!
We caught up with Matty and Cammy outside of St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica a few hours ago. It turned out that Camilla's still got a few weeks of pregnancy left, and that the couple had only come out for a check-up. At least the couple seemed upbeat - although, with the end of Camilla's pregnancy in sight, we certainly understand why!

Expecting their first baby at what looks like any moment now, Matthew McConaughey and girlfriend Camila Alves were spotted by some eagle-eyed readers the other day enjoying a lovely meal at Coogies in Malibu over the weekend. According to our spy, "When we walked in, he was talking to some people sitting at the restaurant. He was really nice and made a point to thank the staff on his way out."
As for pregnant Camila, "She looked really pregnant ... and pretty." In our humble reader's opinion, Matthew does not disappoint in person either9, describing the Fool's Gold appearance as "amazing." When they couple left "the whole restaurant stared." As for these pictures, sadly, they're not from that particular encounter, but check out Camila's baby. Girlfriend is ready to pop.

Matthew McConaughey's latest relationship seems to be weathering the test of time. I am, of course, speaking of his recent romance with shirts. If you'll notice, Matthew's been concealing his chest a lot more lately, even while on the beach. Granted, he's not above covering it in spandex, to remind us of the contours that lie beneath the thin layer of wetsuit, but he has been dressing decidedly more modestly as of late. And we salute you, Matthew. Shirtlessness can be a gift from God, but it's not a good idea to abuse it.

Here's stoner god Matthew McConaughey on the set of the endless romantic comedy he's making, Fool's How To Lose Ghosts of Girlfriends Ready To Launch. Seriously, it's all the same film right? And he was so rad in A Time To Kill. Ok, he was so doable in A Time To Kill. Be real, J.
Matthew's filming in J. Harvey's city of Boston and he's acting in some sort of flashback scene. I'm in Mensa and I can tell by the hair changes and the chick in the outfit that Small Wonder's neighbor Harriet used to wear. Is he wearing ear muffs? What a wussybag! It's been like fifty here! Sorry you can't surf but nut up! I thought you were one step away from being raised by wolves! Or manatees.

Back in February, “Fool’s Gold” posted some pretty fabulous ticket sales here in the US. And Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey are hoping for similar results in the UK.
The “How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days” co-stars were out and about in London this evening for the British premiere of their new film. And as usual, their chemistry was as apparent in person as it is onscreen.

Matthew McConaughey Haunted By Ex-Girlfriends

As much as I like to make fun of his shirtless antics, there is a special place in my heart for goofy ol' Matthew McConaughey. Here he is, bringing his mom, Kay, and his pregnant model girlfriend, Camila Alves, to the red carpet for a premiere and he looks happy as a clam.
The man is quite busy, what with his clothing line and romantic comedies coming out of his ears. At the moment, he's been using his MySpace Celebrity blog to chat about his new film role in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. Billed as a comedy, rather than a horror flick, McConaughey said of his role, "My character...is cynical about the promises of [marriage] ... Until all those damn ghosts of my girlfriends come visit me and scare the you know what outta me."
Sounds like he'll once again be flexing his acting muscles , which pale in comparison to these.

Beer Me!

Will the hottest man alive name his son after a cold one?
The Star sure seems to think so - they're reporting that the star's been saying he's planning to name his kid after a beer for months!
Apparently, the Star claims, the seed was planted in Matthew's mind back in 2006, when his older brother Michael (or "Rooster", as he's more commonly known) named his second son "Miller Lyte". Matthew supposedly loves his nephew's name so much that he's been going around saying he wants to follow suit!
Camilla, however, is adamantly opposed to the naming scheme. "She's pretty old-fashioned," an insider told the mag. "She won't let Matthew push her into this."
Probably a good idea - after all, if that poor kid were to ever get a DUI, he'd never hear the end of it!
We gotta say, though - Anchor Steam McConaughey sounds pretty good to us!

Matthew McConaughey has decided to turn his love of the beach into some cold hard cash. Impending fatherhood is turning the fun-loving, bare-chested, hippie beach bum into quite the provider.
Matt’s new line of hipster flip flops, swim trunks and all things boho beach cool is sure to be a success. We can’t imagine that there is anyone more qualified to design beachwear than the sun-lovin’ Matt. This groovy new beachwear will be added to Matt’s current t-shirt line j.k.living (just keep living). You won’t be able to check out dude’s design skillz on his website matthewmcconaughey.com until this summer ….but you can check out Matt’s beautiful abs right here right now!

Mateo Has A Clever Idea

Now he has a real reason to be shirtless all the time and doing push-ups on the beach!
Matthew McConaughey is using his expertise as a professional beach bum as a way to make some $$$$$$.
The actor (and dad to be) is coming out with his own beachware line. Cuz…
Why not????
McConaughey will be developing his own line of swim wear and beach apparel. His beach items will be named j.k. livin, which stands for "just keep livin".
j.k. livin is also the name of his production company and his personal motto which comes from his favorite line in Dazed and Confused, "You just gotta keep livin', man, L-I-V-I-N."
How deep!
The beachy line will include swimsuits, t-shirts, frisbees, and other beach related items and will be available for purchase this summer on McConaughey's website.
And, not to be outdone, Mateo's girlfriend, Camila, is coming out with her own handbag line.
These two have a lot going on!

Matthew McConaughey Bears the Hottest of Hollywood Chests

Matthew McConaughey's shirtless antics have not been for naught. The well-toned actor has received some esteemed recognition from a journalistic entity for his efforts. Matthew was named by In Touch Weekly as their number one pick for their list of "Hollywood's Hottest Chests." He was followed by David Beckham, Hugh Jackman, Jesse Metcalfe and Andy Baldwin. And I don't really pay too much attention to those last two, but I have to heartily agree with the addition of Hugh and David to that list.
As for Matthew, the 38-year-old sports enthusiast says that he doesn't necessarily go out of his way to around photographic attention when he's walking around...doing his thing, but he's also not going to make a big deal to try and cover up. "My motto is, 'If they catch it, they catch it.'"
Funny, that's my policy on STDs.
