Hola amigos!!!
We've been having the bestest time in Mexico City with our family and some friends!
On Friday, we took a road trip to Teotihuacan, which was awe-inspiring. We are just so amazed at everything that these ancient civilizations were able to accomplish - thousands of years ago.
We love the Mexican people, culture and history, and we're thrilled to be able to get to spend some time here.
And we're actually enjoying it!
Unlike some of our other recent trips, we've been actually able to - and made the decision - to go out and explore, not just work and enjoy it.
We climbed all the way to the top of the Pyramid of the Sun - and we weren't even too winded! Ha
After exploring the many ancient ruins at Teotihuacan, we made a pilgrimage to La Basilica de Guadalupe, where hundreds of years ago the Virgin Mary appeared to Juan Diego.
Pretty powerful stuff! This former Jesuit-schooled boy loved it.
We've also been sampling a lot of the local cuisine, which we're gonna pay for next week in the gym. But, fuck it, we work way way way hard. Life should be lived and enjoyed.

Courtney Love responded to our post about her Jackrabbit 60 posts blog-a-thon. At least that's what we can deduce, given the title is "oh perez!"
The rest, however, is not so easy to decipher. In fact, it is almost totally incoherent, and we can't help but imagine Courtney Love confronting her computer much like the chimps confront the monolith in 2001: A Space Odyssey.
We ran it through a translator that interprets "Celeb MySpace Blog" into English, and extracted a few choice bits:
- C Love wants closed circuit TV set up in every room of her house (Paranoid much?)
- Francis Bean almost starred in Twilight, but a movie about "teen vampires" is just "asking for trouble"
- If little Bean does decide to be an actress, she has the auspices of "Scarjo, Gwyneth, Drew, and me who made every mistake possible and thus know what NOT to do better than anyone"
- Also, she has a cold (And we quote: "ahccough ahchoo!")
Oh, that explains the crazy posts!

Our weekend in New York was fun, ferocious and fabulous!!!!!
Everything went soooo well on Friday night for our highly anticipated One Night in New York City event. And there's a few people we need to thank for helping make it all possible.
First and foremost, we'd like to thank our friends at BMF Media - Brian, Bruce, an all - for helping us put together another amazing evening.
And, of course, thank you to all the talented people that performed and their management, labels and everyone who helped make it possible.
Lady Gaga is already a huge star and she definitely proved that on Friday. The entire world will catch up soon enough!
Her multimedia performance was so ballsy and of the caliber of a Christina, which makes it even that more impressive that Gaga is doing it now, in support of her debut album.
Semi Precious Weapons delivered on their promise to bring the rock 'n' roll - in a glamorous way - and they delivered and delivered. They were sooooo fun. Music should be fun! And fabulous!
Yo Majesty got the crowd worked up and Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings really set the tone for a fabulous evening.
Four diverse acts. One fabulous evening!
Thanks, again, to everyone at The Highline Ballroom for all their help.

Today couldn't get here soon enough!
We are a mere hours away from "One Night in New York City," the hottest party at all of the CMJ Music Festival.
We'll be emailing the folks who won free tickets later today, with all the info they need as well as their confirmation.
And if you are lucky enough to get one of these highly coveted tix, you won't wanna miss it tonight!
In addition to some amazing performances, we are going to have two great DJs spinning for you before, during and after!
Doug Grayson will be spinning the tunes for us during the beginning of the evening and in between the acts. We love this DJ so much, we flew him out to Los Angeles to spin at Perez's 29th birthday party in 2007!
And, this is going to be a real treat, after the final performance onstage tonight, we're turning our party into a Madonnathon!
That's right, for the last two or so hours of the party, from 2:00-4:00 A.M., the great DJ Chip Duckett will be playing Madonna songs and only Madonna songs.
Back to back to back Madonna, non-stop!
It's going to be….priceless.

"One Night in New York City" is being held at the great Highline Ballroom, which is big, so a lot of our Perezcious readers will be able to attend.

Out of all the people in the world, who would possibly want to uppercut this loud mouth bastard? Well apparently the celebrity boxer Perez Hilton does.
“Out of all the people on this planet, if there is one person I would really love to get in the ring with me,” he says, “it would be Perez Hilton.”
And the gossip blogger isn’t backing down. “The only thing [Lohan]’s good at is throwing jabs in the media toward Dina Lohan and Samantha Ronson,” Hilton tells E! News.
While both of them look like little more than talkers, I’m always up for celebrities, or in this case the waste they leave behind, getting a good beating. If Perez wins, I’m hoping for an amazing snapshot of the swollen and bleeding losers’ face posted all over the internet for the world to enjoy.

An Epic Evening

We decided to throw an impromptu house party on Saturday night - thanks Eric! - for no special occasion.
It wasn't anyone's birthday. We were just in town, we knew that a bunch of our friends were in town and since it's rare for so many of us to all be here at the same time, we thought it was the perfect opportunity for a party.
No expectations. No RSVPS.
And we honestly had the best time ever!
Some of our favoritest people in the world showed up, some you don't know and some you might - like Katy Perry, Mika, Josh Groban, Lady Gaga, Amanda Bynes, Emmy Rossum, Michelle Trachtenberg and Diane Warren.
We'd like to apologize to everyone for their hangover, but it sure was worth it!

This is soooo exciting for us to finally be able to share with the world!
The Queen of All Media is living up to his self-appointed title by releasing our first-ever single, The Clap.
It's a silly song about silly boys - and it's super fun! Chessy. Campy. Fun! Fun! Fun!
We wrote the song for the soundtrack to Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild, which Perezzers appears in, and it plays over the film's closing credits.
Our good friend Lucian Piane composed the song and produced it and Perez wrote all the lyrics!
We have never written a song before and words can't describe how invigorating it was to create something from scratch that people seem to enjoy and we're very proud of. The Internets is very now, very ephemeral. But music is forever!
Thankfully, P-Nasty doesn't take himself too seriously. We're just having fun. And this song was so much fun!
He can make music, because he can!
And this isn't the end of Master P's foray into the musical world. Perezzz has been collaborating with some really cool peeps, so expect some other releases from the Queen of All Media very soon.

Everything's Coming Up Roses

We had such a fantabulous weekend in New York City! It was filled with lots of shows and lots of friends.
Saturday morning, we got in on the red eye from L.A. There was no time for napping as we met up with Larry and for some brunch - frozen yogurt! - and our first of four shows.
Spring Awakening wasn't exactly our cup of tea, but Weeds hottie Hunter Parrish was great in it and he sure is purdy to look at!
The show felt like an off-Broadway production that had somehow managed to sneak onto Broadway.
We appreciate that it was trying to be different, but the music of Duncan Sheik doesn't translate very well to Broadway.
After Spring Awakening, we met up with Delta and had an early dinner at our favoritest restaurant in Manhattan, which we want to keep our little secret.
After din din, we took Miz Goodrem to see the one and only Patti LuPone in Gypsy.
Wow! Wow! Wow!
We were blown away!!!
Both Delta and Perezzers loved loved LOVED the production!
We had never seen Gypsy before, and we loved it. And we had never had the pleasure to see Patti LuPone in a musical before - though we did catch her in a Mamet play in the late '90s during our NYU days.
Watching Patti play Rose is something special. She won the Tony for her portrayal and deservedly so. She owns that stage!
Everyone was great in it, and we really want to see the show again soon.
La LuPone was so kind and gracious when we met her after the curtain call. She even had us sign her guest book!
After Gypsy, we met up with Furey and were very very lucky enough to catch the final performance of the extended run of Perez Hilton Saves The Universe.
We hadn't told them we were coming. We wanted to surprise the cast and crew.
Surprise!
It was such a surreal experience watching the show, which….didn't suck. It didn't suck at all. It actually was super fucking awesome!
We were so impressed with the production and the performers.
The show was very well written, had great music, clever lyrics, awesome costumes, choreography, and everything. It was big, fun and we're thrilled we were able to watch it!
After the show, we went out for drinks withe the cast and creators and had a very very late night. A great night.
Sunday saw no rest for us either, as we went to see Mary Poppins - cute but no Lion King - and then met up for dinner with Drew, Aimee and Mackie.
That was followed by some drinkies at their weekly soiree at the Hiro Ballroom. And then early Monday morning we were back to work, appearing on the CW11.
What a great weekend. And what a great week we have ahead of us.
We LOVE New York!

This woman is a legend!!!!!
She's in her 60s and she's still singing and dancing. She's been doing this for 44 years now!
And, the new show at the Colosseum brilliantly encapsulates that storied career - taking you on a journey through her decades of hits and memorable moments along the way.
The show is everything you would want from a Cher concert - big production, stunning Bob Mackie outfits, dancers, aerialists, video montages and more.
The only, small, critique we have is that she does spend a lot of time offstage changing clothes. She has a new costume for practically every song!
But, it's a Cher show and you want those outfits. So it is what it is.
Above everything else, though, it's all about the music. And Cher has soooo many hits.
We saw the Bette Midler show at the Colosseum and we didn't enjoy her as much as Cher because Bette just doesn't have that many hits. It's all about the show.
However, the show is that much more special when everybody knows all the songs and they're singing along!
Cher's got the hits, the show, the comedy. Everything.
And she was sooooo nice when we met her. And spunky!
If you come to Vegas, you MUST check her out.
We believe!!!!

We continue to be stunned and impressed by Perez’s weight loss, he looks simply fab if you ask us! Perez was rocking a fairly toned-down look for The Fluorescent One. Must have been a fancy affair in there.

We Found Him!

Who is that skinny rocker dude kissing Perez????
It's Azaria, the lead singer of Australian band The Follow.
He's the dude that went "missing" last week, which we wrote about.
Well, we found him - in Vegas!
Azaria came to the Labor Day party we hosted at Tao.
And….
He came with Jess from The Veronicas, whom we met during our ill-fated trip to Australia in 2007 (when Perez had pneumonia).
Well, here's some shocking news: these two are back together!
That's right, Jess and Azaria are dating again, and we wouldn't be surprised if there was a quickie Vegas wedding this weekend!!!
They told us they wouldn't get married unless Perez was the flower boy.
Done and done!
We'll happily be maid of honor too.
So, OF COURSE we had to ask Az why he went missing. He told us that he just needed some "alone time" and drove to New York City by himself - without his cell phone - to visit Jess.
The twosome came to Vegas for a bit to get away.
And, since we had Jess at our fingertips we had to ask her about her rumored Australian girlfriend, Ruby Rose, the MTV VJ.
She denied any romantic relationship.
She was lying! Ha
And, we also had to ask her about those "nudie" pics that hit the interweb, allegedly of her.
She had no comment.
We also talked about The Veronicas going on tour with the Jonas Brothers. Jess said they are lovely boys and are having a great time with them on the road.
And, after they're done with the Jonai, The Veronicas are going on tour with Hanson.
From one musically talented trio of siblings to another!
After we had "work" out of the way, we had the bestest time ever with Jess, Az, and our friends and family at Tao.
We're in Vegas for a few more days and soooo excited. It's gonna be super fun!
Saturday night we have a date with Cher and Katy Perry.
We love it here!!!!!

Perez Hilton Saves the Universe (or at least the greater Los Angeles area): The Musical" is running August 8th through August 24th at the New York International Fringe Festival (a production of The Present Company).
"Perez Hilton…The Musical" explores a normal day in the life of celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton. Well, were it not for the plans of evil Islamic terrorists. And Kathy Griffin. Throughout the course of the day, Perez must wrestle with the demons of love, ego and celebrity, all whilst saving Los Angeles from an imminent nuclear disaster. With a pop infused score and dozens of celebrity impersonations, "Perez Hilton…The Musical" reveals the inner workings of a society obsessed with itself. Oh, and it's kinda funny.
The cast features authors Randy Blair ("The Adding Machine") and Timothy Michael Drucker ("The Other Baldwins"), as well as Lindsay Nicole Chambers ("Legally Blonde"), Sevan Greene ("Betrayed"), Laura Jordan ("Cry-Baby"), Andrew Keenan-Bolger ("Spelling Bee", "Seussical"), Ana Nogiuera (NYMF's "The Boy in the Bathroom"), Dana Steingold ("Spelling Bee", upcoming "Godspell") and Jason Veasy.
The creative team includes Michael Cassara (casting director), David Withrow (costumes), Matt Steinbrenner (set and projection design), Brian Tovar (lighting design), Adam Wachter (musical direction), Will Van Dyke (Arrangements), Brian Lowdermilk (Additonal Arrangements), Nate Festinger (Orchestrations), Enrique Brown (assistant director/choreographer), Jenny Kanelos (company manager) and Jamie Rog (stage manager).
