It’s always nice to see our favorite celebrities reaching out and using their fame and fortune to benefit others. And yesterday (September 15), Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were spotted hosting an ice cream social to raise money for the Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation.
The “Simple Life” mommy and her rockstar babydaddy took over Beyond Shelter for a delicious and charitable event hosted by Marble Slab Creamery called “Text CHILD to 90999.”
Either Fashion Week is very stressful for its guests or Nicole Richie just had one too many cocktails at an after-party for Charlotte Ronson this weekend. The New York Post reports that Nicole was partying with Charlotte’s sister Samantha Ronson and her “love” Lindsay Lohan threw a fit at the party when someone tried to take her picture.
As she walked out, “a young, Swedish tourist was trying to take her photo,” said one witness. Richie shouted, “I’m not an animal” then “jumped over the velvet rope, ripped the camera out of the girl’s hand, and smashed it to the ground.”

The former Simple Life star attends the regular classes as a result of her past DUI conviction and reportedly has over a year left before completing her court-ordered penalty.
Venturing out in the Los Angeles sunshine, Nicole Richie was spotted out visiting a Los Angeles studio with her daughter Harlow Winter Kate on Tuesday afternoon (July 22).
An hour later, the former Simple Life star’s rocker husband Joel Madden joined his wife and daughter there - pulling up in his black Audi Q7 SUV before hopping out and heading inside to see his two lovely ladies.
Nicole Richie needs to give up trying to be in front of the camera and go behind it after seeing what she did with that video. Seriously didn’t she do a great job with that Good Charlotte tour video. And how cute is Harlow with her daddy Joel Madden!!
Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie were famously thrust into the spotlight with their reality TV show, “The Simple Life”, and it broke up their friendship for awhile. Since they’ve had their ups and downs but it seems now they are on good terms, although haven’t been hanging out as much as they used to several years ago. But at least they’re not publicly trashing each other in interviews.
Paris has also been famously dating Benji Madden, the brother of Joel Madden for months now. We’re not so sure how Nicole feels about that but rumor was she wasn’t thrilled and for the most part still tries to keep Paris at arms length.
However, we might soon see another falling out between the two again. It seems that Paris has moved in next door to Nicole, where she lives with her boyfriend Joel Madden and their baby, Harlow. Next door might be a little too close for comfort.
Nicole’s friends recently told Page Six, “Nicole moved out there to get away from the paparazzi, but when Paris calls them they come to her quiet street and disrupt everything. She’s getting a little fed up.”
It seems that now that things are going so well for Nicole, Paris is copying her life. From dating her boyfriends twin and declaring she wants a baby to moving next door.
Nicole Richie’s debut novel The Truth About Diamonds is headed to the small screen. Since the plot of the book is basically just Nicole’s life up until that point, she says she will for ’sho be working on it.
“I would definitely produce and definitely be in the show. I don’t know if I need to be the star of this show,” she added. “I’ve got a lot going on right now.”
If you haven’t taken the time to read this generations great American novel, let me fill you in. The Truth About Diamonds chronicles the life of twenty-something Chloe Parker, adopted by a famous musician-and her “coming of age amid the troubles of young Hollywood.”
Oh, and for those of you who caught the fact that I describe this book at Nicole’s ‘debut’ novel, that’s because she is currently working on her second. Taking the literary world by storm, she is.
Looks like Nicole Richie may have yet to sew all her oats. Harlow’s mama got tossed out of The Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas Saturday night while partying with Carey Hart and the boys from Good Charlotte. Sources say that Nicole was involved in a fight with another chick while in the valet line around 1:00am. The incident was so out of control that Nicole had to be escorted off property by a security guard. That’s a funny visual.

The paparazzi caught up to the former Simple Life cutie enjoying a day of fun in the sun at a beach party in Malibu, California. She wore a short white cleavage-baring dress overtop a pair of denim shorts with a pair of sunglasses.
Nicole Richie has tongues wagging about possibly being pregnant with baby number two after chosing to wear long, flowy dresses to recent events. She’s also been seen out and about wearing loose fitting, tummy covering tops and sheepskin boots.
A source told America’s Star magazine: “Nicole is dying to have a sibling for Harlow who is close in age. She doesn’t want them to be more than two years apart, so that they can be best friends forever.” An onlooker said: “The top was not something Nicole usually wears. She ordinarily goes for tight T-shirts and vest tops. The other unusual thing was that she was wearing comfy sheepskin boots and not her usual heels - the boots definitely looked like something a pregnant woman would wear.”
This would explain why she wasn’t in attendance at Lindsay Lohan’s 22nd birthday party on Wednesday with her baby daddy, Joel Madden. This would also explain those awful outfit choices lately. Although Nicole’s style does veer toward the boho…lately she’s been going full on 70’s Roda.

These girls and their day-to-day going are like instant sales for magazines because the public is so enthralled with their lifestyles. Nicole Richie chatted it up with the Madden brothers and some of their tough-looking friends after stopping at a Coffee Bean in West Hollywood. We think its pretty funny that Nicole’s look is a comical attempt at a more “street” look . A Chanel bag is not tough, Nicole. Neither is Coffee Bean.
