Kim Cattrall got everyone all excited Tuesday when she announced on British television show that a sequel to blockbuster movie Sex and the City is definite. Kim told Melanie Brown on the The Paul O’Grady Show that she and the girls will be heading back to New York to begin filming next summer.
But today Sara Jessica Parker has warned fans not to get their hopes up just yet - as the production has not yet been given the green light. She says, “I’m thrilled to know Kim is excited but all the deals are not yet done. We wanted to (do it) the first time, and now we’re hopefully doing it again for the second time.“
SJP must be holding out for more money before she committs to the movie. Geez…just do the movie. No one wants to hear about your salary wars again ladies.

What we’ve been waiting on for years is finally going to happen. Big and Carrie will be getting married and it’s going to be a huge Carrie Bradshaw affair. The cast and crew are shooting all day today at St. Patrick’s Cathedral where the movie wedding will take place. Carrie and the girls will be glammed out wearing jewels borrowed from H. Stern.
And the people at Page Six are tickled pink with their major shout out in the script too. “Mazel Tov! I read it in Page Six,” reports a woman who played a well-wisher during filming yesterday. And fashionista’s wait with baited breath to see Carrie’s wedding gown. Some lucky wedding dress designer is about to rich biatch!
