Gotta love Cloris Leachman she is 82 years young and she is still getting picked up by younger men! I want to be like her when I am her age, heck I want to be like her when I am half her age!!!
The true winner of Dancing with the Stars 7 looks she had a great time at the DWTS after-party and she deserved it!!!

There were rumors that Warren Sapp and Derek Hough went at it during a rehearsal and they said that Warren got physical with Derek who didn't stand down. I thought hey it was rumor, so didn't post it until OK! Magazine got to the truth of it and it was the truth sort of.
While Warren wouldn’t address the alleged fight, tersely telling reporters after the finale to “ask Derek” about it, Derek did say, “This has been blown way out of proportion. Warren and I exchanged a few words at rehearsal that lasted seconds. The idea that Warren would do physical harm to me or anyone is outrageous. We’re all become good friends during the season.”
But pro Corky Ballas, who was teamed up with Cloris Leachman this season and has been close to Derek for years as his dance teacher and friend, told OK!, “I think that Warren thinks this is a football field. I mean this in a good way. All his life, they get mad at themselves and angry so they can get out there and play well so he’s only doing what his instincts are, under pressure with adrenalin.”
Added Corky, “I told Derek, ‘let it go right off your [back].’ It’s part of psyching people out. Some psych-out tactics work. It doesn’t work on Derek.”
Comedian Jeffrey Ross, who was the first contestant eliminated this season, but who came back to perform on the show again this week, told OK!, “I happened to be at that rehearsal and they got into a little thing, but I think it has more to do with the intensity of the moment; guys having to coordinate their moods and their travel schedules and their work schedules, and things bubble up and honestly, they’re all teammates at this point. There’s no losers here.”
Derek’s close friend and fellow DWTS dancer Mark Ballas also said the incident was blown out of proportion, but admitted to OK! that the hit ABC show can be a pressure cooker!
“There are stressful times and when you’re working together, sometimes people get heated at each other,” Mark explained. “When you’re together 24 hours a day and you’re working, sometimes you just talk to each other out of frustration. Things like that happen. But both of them are cool.”
I say let us a viewers, who did not have a choice in the winner let Warren and Derek have a televised smackdown and let the winner be the one who rightfully brings home the mirror ball trophy. I would put my money on Warren!!!

All you many ‘Dancing with the Stars’ fans know that Brooke Burke waltzed away with the mirror ball trophy on the “Dancing with the Stars” finale last night.
Warren Sapp who came in second place and former ‘NSync member Lance Bass were also in the Tuesday night finale, but the 37-year-old TV personality and mother of four dominated the seventh season of the popular ABC dancing competition. Her reprised Viennese waltz routine earned her a perfect score from the show’s panel of judges.
“I actually can’t believe it,” said Derek Hough, Burke’s professional partner, who’s never won the competition. “I really can’t. I honestly can’t. The journey’s been so long. It’s been tough. It’s been wonderful. It’s been everything I could ever hope for. Wow. I can’t believe we actually did it, girl.”
Burke maintained an eight point lead over Sapp, the charismatic ex football player and fan favorite whose technique was consistently criticized by the judges. Sapp still managed to hustle his way into second place with professional partner Kym Johnson, despite receiving one point less from the judges than the third place finisher, 29-year-old singer Bass.
Bass and his professional partner, Lacey Schwimmer, were upbeat about their loss. The former boybander will join professional dancers and other former contestants for the 38-city “Dancing with the Stars” tour, which is set to kick off Dec. 17 in San Diego.
Previously dismissed celebrities — actor Cody Linley; sprinter Maurice Greene; actresses Susan Lucci and Cloris Leachman; chef Rocco DiSpirito; reality TV star Kim Kardashian; actor Ted McGinley; and comedian Jeffrey Ross — also returned for a last dance. Injured volleyball player Misty May-Treanor and singer Toni Braxton remained off their feet.
All in all it was a good season, but it was a shame Misty May-Treanor had to leave the show because of a serious injury and singer Toni Braxton got voted off seemingly while there were weaker dancers still on the show. But that’s the way it goes on this show and ultimately I think Brooke Burke is an excellent champion. What do you think of this years cast and do you think the right celebrity was crowned champion?

Once again the Judges got their way and the person they wanted to win won and the viewers had no choice but to accept it. Brooke Burke went home with the mirror ball trophy that the Judges handed her, but the viewers did not.
Here is ABC’s explaination of the voting system…
THE PROCEDURE FOR ELIMINATING COUPLES:
Each week every couple receives points from the judges and votes from the public. For every couple we work out the share they got of the points given by the judges on the night, and the share they got of the public’s votes on the night and we add these two shares together. The couple with the lowest combined total is eliminated from the show.
For example if couple A, B and C receive 38, 26 and 14 points from the judges, we calculate what share these points represent of the total awarded by the judges on the night. In this case the judges gave 78 points in total, and each couples’ share of 78 points breaks down as follows: 38= 48.72% of 78, 26= 33.33% of 78, 14= 17.95% of 78. Let’s suppose that when the public votes are tallied, each couple has the following shares: A= 20%, B=40%, C=40%. To determine who’s eliminated we combine these two shares for the total:
Couple A: 20+48.72%= 68.72%
Couple B: 40+33.33%= 73.33%
Couple C: 40+17.95%= 57.95%
So considering that Brooke got the most points from the Judges, then Lance Bass and finally Warren Sapp was in last place after the third dance. And since Lance Bass who scored higher than Warren with the Judges went out before him that means he was the one who got the top viewers vote over Miss Boring Burke. Which proves that we the viewer had no choice in who won the show that we keep on the air. Something I am seriously considering giving up after this season because 2 seasons in the row the winner was the Judges call and not the viewers. I might not have liked some of the American Idol winners, but at least we had the choice. It would be nice if instead of ABC and the producers adding dances to change up the show, that they figure a way for the viewers to have more of a say. It will help them in the long run because come Monday we won’t care about Brooke Burke again unless it is their plan to have her replace Samantha Harris??? Not that we would even notice because they look and host the same.
Warren Sapp that mirror ball trophy was yours in our eyes!!!

Joey Fatone's career is going down the toilet literally. Yesterday Joey Fatone opened the Charmin Deluxe Public Restrooms in Times Square.
Maybe I spoke to soon when I said Dancing with the Stars revived his career. In all seriousness I give him kudos for doing because it had to be a lot of fun and a great talking point!!!

For the second season in a row the Judges are getting their technically perfect boring Dancing with the Stars winner. Brooke Burke might have the best lines, but I lose interest watching her because she is so boring. She has no personality whatsoever, that I never understood how she hosted a show because she as exciting as watching paint dry.
But let’s get back to Judges. Back in The UK Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli are taking crap because the most popular contestant on Strictly Come Dancing was forced to quit the show because of the Judges comments against him according to Daily Mail. I think all three Dancing with the Stars Judges are thinking that they are Judging a real ballroom competition, but they are forgetting this is a TV show. These stars are not doing it because they want to dance, they are doing it because they want to revive their careers. And that has worked for several competitors like Joey Fatone, Mario Lopez, Lisa Rinna, Laila Ali, Marie Osmond, Cloris Leachman and so on. But the Judges like their pretty skinny females and they want them to win and you know where their careers are now and how they are not helping the popularity of the show. There was Stacy Keibler and she is where? Then Kristi Yamaguchi and win her did what for the show? By the Judges picking Brooke and only Brooke they are hurting show that is for the fans and not them. I would not miss any of the Judges if ABC decided to replace them….hint hint hint.
Seriously can someone tell me why I am still watching ABC. They cancel the good shows and leave us with shows that decline by the week. I loved Eli Stone, Pushing Daisies and Boston Legal and they are gone. I still watch shows like Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy, Ugly Betty and Private Practice and all of those shows have not been good since their first seasons but for some reason my DVR continues to record these shows. Seriously someone tell me why.
But back to Dancing with the Stars I will feel like it is another wasted season of Dancing with the Stars if Brooke Burke wins over Lance Bass or Warren Sapp because it will be the second season where the Judges got their picks and the viewers who are paying their salaries did not.
I feel better now.

“Dancing with the Stars,” perky young Julianne Hough, js calling it quits and will not return to the show (for now). The professional dancer who was a two-time winner on the show suffered from endometriosis this season, which also required removal of her appendix during this season’s run, told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show Thursday that she needs to focus on her new career.
“I really, really want to focus on the music and, you know, kind of be taken seriously a little bit,” she explained.
Hough, and celebrity partner Cody Linley, were elminated from ABC’s hit dance competition reality show earlier this week. She also performed one of the songs from her holiday album on Tuesday night.
Hough, who has been romantically linked to country singer Chuck Wicks, told Seacrest: “It’s kind of hard to be on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ and do singing,” And “music is where I wanna be.”
Hough, 20, has already released a pair of albums this year, the first was earlier this year, a country music CD titled “That Song in My Head.” The most recent, “Sounds of the Season,” was a holiday album that hit stores in October.

Every morning when he wakes up and stares out of the window of his ritzy New York apartment, Eliot Spitzer sighs and tells himself, not today. The former governor is still atoning for wearing socks during his affair with prostitute Ashley Dupre, but he has so much to say about what's happening in our country right now. Since we broke the news that Dupre's interview with Diane Sawyer would air this Friday, Spitzer evidently decided to poke his head out of his apartment. In his sermon from hell in this morning's Washington Post, he provides a naughty prescription for restoring America:
If he had just waited a year or so, Spitzer could have gotten a lower price on his fun jaunts with paid women. As his one-time paramour Dupre chose ABC for her "consulting" fee and first televised interview since the scandal, Spitzer has followed up a bland interview with Time Out New York with an editorial in today's Post.
In the essay, Spitzer renews his call for a unified regulatory agency instead of an expanding bureaucracy. The piece is mostly an analysis of the ongoing situation in the financial sector, although it does give a shout-out to his former lifestyle:
Although mistakes I made in my private life now prevent me from participating in these issues as I have in the past, I very much hope and expect that President Obama and his new administration will have the strength and wisdom to do again what FDR did.
You just know Spitzer will be back. If it takes forever, he'll wait forever. And as alert reader Chileno notes, between "capital infusions," "explosion of leverage", "ability to probe", "invisible hand" and all that "self-regulation," Spitzer will be plenty busy with his favorite subject when he does.

Can I say how nice it was to see Benji Schwimmer dancing again and with his sister Lacey doing what they do best West Coast Swing…too bad that song was lame. Hopefully Dancing with the Stars will bring him aboard next season! He is an amazing choreographer and great TV! Please DWTS add him!!!
BTW I hate to burst your bubble on something that happened last night on the show. If you listened when they announced that Maurice Green and Cheryl Burke were eliminated you can hear the audience cheer for joy! Sadly it was not because they were as happy as me to see Cheryl go, but because there were a lot teen girls in the audience happy their boy Cody made it through to another week according to Watch With Kristin!

Dancing with the Stars season 7 will go down as the season of injuries. Let's see the day before they announced the stars Kim Kardashain injured her toe, then on opening day Jeffrey Ross' cornea was accidentally scratched by Edyta's nail, and then I forget the order…Misty Mae-Treanor was forced to drop out of the show because of a torn Achilles Tendon, Susan Lucci rolled her ankle and suffered two broken bones in her foot, Lance Bass suffered a broken toe, Brooke Burke hurt her foot, Derek Hough fell and suffered a concussion, his sister Julianne was diagnosed with endometriosis and had her appendix removed as a precaution and today comes word that Kym Johnson hurt her shoulder. She will be on the show tonight, but might require surgery in the future according to TMZ. Saying all of that, only one couple remains unscathed…Cheryl Burke and Maurice Greene. Things that make you go hmmmm….
xoxo Michael!

Susan Lucci is
still dancing her butt off every week on ABC's
Dancing With The Stars, and even though the fancy footwork is taking a toll on her feet, it's definitely not having any affect on her wardrobe! The 61-year-old hottie got dinner at Madeo last night, and
yet again, she sported an ace bandage and some strappy sandals. What a trooper!
Think she can win DWTS?

I am so livid with Dancing with the Stars. I think that the show and the Judges gave an advantage to the groups that they chose for the Team dances by having the ones that they want in the final three against the ones that they want gone. It was not fair to have Warren, Brooke and Maurice in one group against Lance (who the Judges refuse to like), Cody (who was dancing with a new partner) and Susan Lucci (who is the worst hip hopper ever and needs to be put of her misery). Brooke and Warren should have gotten Susan to make the teams the fair. And then to give the easier dance to do unison (according to Len) to who they want in the semi-finals was again not fair. I hate the new things that the show is trying this season like new dances, hip hop and team numbers. I am so getting over this show. DWTS is not So You Think You Can Dance, so stop trying to be. Stay with the format that made the show a success and not try new things. The reason why the ratings and buzz went down was because the stars that were part of last season were a yawn and Kristi Yamaguchi was forgettable. If ABC wants to keep us tuning and the buzz to keep going stop pushing Brooke down our throats. She will be forgotten a week after the show is over. Yes I think Brooke is good dancer, but I get so bored watching her and I hate watching her when she is not dancing. I mean the Judges are so in love with Maurice and Cheryl and they don’t they get we are not. This is a television show, if the Judges (and Carrie Anne needs it the most) want the show to stay on the air start listening to viewers. And Len seriously fiber is your friend, try some now.
OK! I am off to vote for my Dancing choice and in the Presidential election!!!

Brooke Burke, who whined for the last week on Dancing with the Stars how much her foot hurt, hosted the One Vote Count: Pledge to Vote event last night without a wrapped foot and in heels. I wonder if her foot hurts so much, why she isn't in flats with her foot wrapped?

Cloris Leachman was robbed of the Dancing with the Stars mirror ball last night that was so rightfully hers. After she was unjustly eliminated on the show, she went to where all the eliminated DWTS contestants go when they get the boot…Jimmy Kimmel Live! OMG she was even nuttier on his show than she was on Dancing!!! Thank Gawd for that!!! That was one of the funniest interviews I haver seen on his show!!!
Poor Jimmy, but I think he handled it wonderfully! Seriously he should get rid of the couch and interview everyone on the floor!!!
Thanks to Cloris Leachman and Corky Ballas for making this season watchable.
BTW last night on Kimmel there was nother funny bit. They sent Jake Byrd to a Sarah Palin rally. If you don’t know who he is, he Michael Jackson supporting, Paris Hilton loving obsessive fan. And now he is Fallin’ for Palin and the results are well judge for yourself.

I am sick and tired of Brooke Burke whining about her foot. She acts like she is the only one injured. Julianne Hough is dancing with Endometriosis and is going in for surgery today to remove her appendix, did she complain? Susan Lucci is dancing with a bad ankle and broken bones in her feet and is almost twice as old as Brooke, did she complain? Lance Bass is dancing with a broken toe, has he mentioned that on the show? But Brooke Burke can’t stop saying my foot hurts. If it is so bad quit or shut up. We get it you hurt your foot, you ain’t getting my sympathy vote.
Now when it comes to Carrie Ann Inaba she told Cloris Leachman “We lost Toni Braxton for this, and that kind of makes me sad.” That was rude an uncalled for. We lost Toni Braxton because she was stiff on the dance floor and stiff with personality. There was no reason to vote for her. This might be a dancing competition, but it is on TV and we are voting for personality if she doesn’t like that go Judge a ballroom competition. Oh wait, that is not her genre and her expertise.
Now when it comes to Rob Base, he needs to sue ABC for destroying his song like that. I know I am not sure when I will be ever listen to it again.
So tune into Dancing with the Stars tonight at 9p to see who will get the ax.
And to Julianne Hough may your surgery and recovery go smoothly!

Julianne Hough who was hospitalized after last Tuesday’s show for a severe stomach ache is now saying that ache was a little more serious and she will need to have her appendix removed. According to E! online she will have the surgery tomorrow. Hopefully she will not be out of the competition for the season because I really like her.
So tune in to Dancing with the Stars at 8p tonight on ABC to get the update on Julianne Hough and see what crazy, but fun things Cloris does!
UPDATE: Julianne will have surgery tomorrow and Edyta will fill her dancing shoes until she is healthy enough to do so again. Which could be as early as next week.
Here is to praying her surgery goes smoothly tomorrow and a speedy recovery.
xoxo Michael!
UPDATE 2: Julianne blogged that she will be out for at least next week’s show…:(
They’re doing it laparoscopically through my belly button so I won’t have a scar. My mom had it done a few years ago and she doesn’t have a scar. With my mom and my sister having endometriosis, you can see genetics plays a big part. I guess my brother Derek is the only sibling in the family who doesn’t have to worry about having his ovaries checked.
They say its three or four days of recovery. I’m thinking more like a week. Then I’ll be able to work with Cody. But I won’t be dancing for two weeks.

So last week during the Dancing with the Stars results show they had all the celebrities do campaign like ads to get us not to vote for their competitors and it was so funny that I am glad that they were finally posted them so I could share them with all of those of you who missed them.
This is Seriously? OMG! WTF? and I approve this message!

Life & Style Magazine asked Florence Henderson what she thought of Cloris Leachman on Dancing with the Stars and what she said was not nice.
“I hope the audience doesn’t think all older people act like her,” said Florence , 74. “I love Cloris, but sometimes she acts like she’s not all there, or she’s wandering around the ballroom acting silly.” Cloris “is given a lot of leeway because of her age,” Florence tells Life & Style. “But you also have to respect the rules, the show and what it’s about.” Flor and Clor should settle this with a dance-off!
Florence Henderson is just jealous because even though she has been rumored to be one of the possible dancers on Dancing with the Stars it has yet to materialize and with comments like this I would prefer not to see her on the show.
Seriously if it wasn’t for Cloris and her crazy antics, this season of DWTS7 would so boring! Go Clorky!!! Forget Carol Brady…

Season 7 of Dancing with the Stars is all about the injuries. The Stars are spending more time in the hospital than they are in the rehearsal studio. Well maybe not that bad, but pretty darn close.
Brooke Burke aka Big Mouth (pictured above because I am sure most of you don't know who she is) hurt her foot on Sunday and was taken to the hospital for observation on Monday. The doctors said she had a bad bruise. Brooke Burke blogged that her foot her more on Tuesday than Monday, but not bad enough for her to go out after the results show.
After the results show, Julianne made her first trip to the hospital (a place her brother Derek, Brooke's partner, knows all to well) this season for stomach pains according to ETonline. She was experiencing slight stomach pains all day and the doctors felt it was best for her to have them checked out.
Susan Lucci admitted on Monday's show that she broke two bones in her foot, but that is not going to stop her to continue hustling on the show come Monday.
And finally Toni Braxton is suffering from major sore loser disease. According to Watch with Kristin she did not come back to talk to press after the show, the first celeb voted off the show not to do that.
Saying all of that Cloris Leachman, who is 82 is still going strong and has yet to visit the hospital…I think that says it all!!!
UPDATE: Julianne Hough blogged about her hospital visit and says she is doing better.
With stomach problems, you never know what’s going on. It could've been appendicitis. It turned out just to be a bad stomach. As my mom said, better safe than sorry.
But everything’s good, I’m fine. Before I left the hospital, which was pretty late, I asked the doctor if I could have a note to sleep in.
I was supposed to do the group dance rehearsal today, but I’m going to go back to bed and relax and hopefully take it easy today. Tonight, I’m supposed to tape Jimmy Kimmel for a show that will air the night of the CMAs, on the 12th. But I don’t know if I'll make it. I can do that another day. Oh, my performance of "My Hallelujah Song" is supposed to air on DWTS on November 11th. As for next week, Cody and I got the Samba. I’m excited. I think Cody’s up to it.
Next week I'll finish talking about the songs on my album. I keep getting distracted. For right now, though, it's back to bed.
UPDATE 2: Here is Susan Lucci with her ankle/foot wrapped up:

In another example of the fickleness of the voting fans, Toni Braxton was eliminated last night from Dancing With the Stars. Toni seemed to have what it took to be a contender, while Susan Lucci who was in the bottom two and Cloris Leachman who must get votes from thin air or people mistakenly believing their vote gets her eliminated, have no chance of winning.
Apparently Toni didn’t take her dismissal well. She reportedly completely ditched the waiting members of the press after the show.
Maurice Greene was regretting the ’staged’ jabs he and most the celebs made in last night’s show, which he insists and we totally believe were not his own doing but rather prompted by the producers. “Now I’m mad they made me say that stuff, talking about her shaking her booty out the door. I’m sorry!”
By the way Two-time DWTS champ Julianne Hough was taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after Tuesday night’s live results show in which she performed a high-energy dance.
Hough, 20, “was experiencing slight stomach pains all day that increased and the doctors thought it was best to have them checked out.” Contrary to other reports, Hough “didn’t collapse” at the show, according to her rep.

Brooke Burke aka Big Mouth hurt her foot yesterday during rehearsal and was taken to the hospital for observation to have it checked it out. Sadly doctors said it was just a bad bruise and she will continue on according to People Magazine.
“She’s a little sore, but she rehearsed today and she feels ready to dance tonight,” an ABC spokesperson tells PEOPLE.
Brooke might be a “good dancer” but she has no personality. She never says anything that makes me want to vote for her and when she does say anything she bitches out poor Derek (1:00 minute in) or she leaks information like Derek living with Shannon or Misty Mae Treanor out of DWTS before the announcement. If she was really injured and was not able to compete, I wouldn’t miss her…would you? She is probably faking the injury for votes.
Forgetting about her, tune in to Dancing with the Stars tonight at 8p and vote Clorky…Cloris Leachman and Corky Ballas!

What was that hairstyle they gave Cheryl Burke yesterday on Dancing with the Stars? Seriously it look like an abandoned bird's nest and it is obvious why the birds left. If that is her real her, I so would not want to be her when they try to brush it out…pain and ful.
BTW am I the only one that thinks these to are going home tonight on ABC? I think Rocco will get sympathy votes because of last week, Clorky is the only reason to watch and since Cheryl and Maurice came in second with the Judges' scores and went first…in my opinon looks like Cheryl and Maurice will be out like Disco.

No shocker that no one went home on Dancing with the Stars tonight since Misty May-Treanor was forced to leave due to an injury. What was a shocker is that they actually announced who would have been cut had Misty stayed on the show. Personally I thought that was messed up and cruel. At least when Sara Evans dropped out they kept it a secret who would’ve been eliminated and that is what they should have done tonight.
When it comes to Misty May-Treanor her surgery was successful today and she is home resting. Hopefully she will get better soon!
Now here is something I forgot to post a while ago and will get you through those DWTSless days…go to the Ballroom Dance Channel and learn to do the dances that they do on DWTS. This site was created by Dancing with the Stars Tony Dovolani and he shows you some his best dance moves!!! I know I have been a lot of fun doing it!
Final note…Go Clorky!!! Keep voting for Cloris Leachman and Corky Ballas, they are the best thing to happen to DWTS since Jerry Springer!!!

It seems the “Dancing With The Stars” curse is in full swing this year. The last few seasons contestants experienced quite a few calamities on and off the dance floor and this year so far seems to be about injuries.
It started with Jeffrey Ross getting poked in the eye before week 1, and now Just days after an injury bounced Misty May-Treanor out of the competition, dancer Derek Hough blacked out after taking a nasty tumble and hitting his head. A DWTS spokeperson said:
“At Saturday’s rehearsal, Derek was walking backwards and tripped over something on the floor. He was knocked out for a brief moment and was taken to the hospital as a precaution to make sure he was OK,” a rep for the dancer said in a statement released Access. “After test results showed that he was fine, Derek was released and was sent home to rest. He will be ready to go for tonight’s show.”
Derek’s partner Brooke Burke recounted his injury on her blog.
“Saturday, on the CBS stage, we were practicing as usual when Derek accidentally tripped over a box, while walking backwards,” she continued. “As he tried to break his fall, by jumping up, his foot caught a stage light which sent him further into the air. He landed on his back on the wooden dance floor and smashed the back of his head. He was disoriented, blacked out for a few seconds, and was flattened out in pain. He couldn’t move, I sat beside him as he laid there and we waited for help to arrive.”
Brooke said Derek’s injury was quite a fright after last season, when he pulled a muscle in his neck keeping him off the dance floor for a week.
“Our producers called 911 and the paramedics arrived to carefully examine him. He suffered a neck injury last season which had him down for a week, so the reoccurrence was definitely scary. They rushed him off, stretcher and all, in the ambulance for further testing in the ER.”
According to Brooke, Derek received good news at the hospital:
“After a cat scan and many other tests, he received a clean bill of health and we were back at it today as scheduled. With a huge headache, and a little dizziness, the show goes on.”
Burke also confirmed that her current partner Derek Hough and his ex partner Shannon Elizabeth “are still together.
“They’re living together,” Burke said. “She comes to rehearsals and they’re going strong.”
Brooke also talked about Misty May-Treanor saying that the Olympic volleyball star gold medal winner’s future is unknown.
“We’re all pulling for her, we don’t know what’s going to happen yet. I think they’re going to do a package about it on the show. She’s waiting to get some doctor’s results. She may be having surgery this week. It’s sad. It could have happened to any one of us,” Brooke told Billy. “For Misty it’s especially difficult because of her career and it can end just like that on the show. We’re pushing our bodies to the limit. Injuries are bound to happen. And we’re really rooting for her.
Asked if anyone would be eliminated this week in light of May-Treanor’s absence, Burke said, “We don’t know. They still have to have the same amount of shows.
Showing a wicked sense of humor she continued:
“I heard [Edyta Sliwinska] and [Maksim Chmerkovskiy] may dance together since both of their partners are gone, but I don’t know what’s going to happen.”
This seasons show doesn’t seem to be building to a great finish so far. The celebrities as a group are a pretty mediocre group so far dance wise, compared to recent seasons but hopefully Lance, Brooke, Maurice and a few of the others can pick up the pace.

Dancing with the Stars' Brooke Burke was on Valentine in the Morning and she told him that Misty May-Treanor is definitely out of DWTS because of a torn Achilles tendon. ABC and the producers of DWTS released this statement on Saturday:
"Dancing with the Stars" contestant Misty May-Treanor sustained an injury on Friday and received immediate medical attention. Despite previous reports, she did not break her ankle. She is resting comfortably at home. Doctors will reevaluate her condition on Monday and determine the outcome of her participation on the show.
But Brooke contradicted what they said and added that Misty and Maksin Chmerkovskiy are taping a package for show tonight. She added that Edyta and Maksim might do a dance in their place, but nothing is confirmed. While the NY Post is saying that Kim Kardashian will be back to fill the hole left by Misty.
Brooke Burke also let it leak that her Dancing with the Stars partner Derek Hough is living with his cougar Shannon Elizabeth.
