According to The Sun, "High School Musical" hottie Zac Efron might be taking the reins from Daniel Radcliffe and starring in the controversial Broadway play Equus! The actor has reportedly been approached to take on the role, and at the London premiere of "High School Musical 3," Zac said, "You know that Daniel Radcliffe role on Broadway? Well it's been mentioned.” The play focuses on a troubled teen named Alan (played by Radcliffe) who has a bizarre, um, fascination with horses. As you may recall, we see much more of Radcliffe than just his naked raw acting abilities! We get to see the full monty!

The High School Musical star has admitted that she's not attracted to hottie Zac Efron.

Is she blind? Or does she know something we don't know???? Wink wink.

Tisdale reveals in next month's Seventeen mag that, "I've never been attracted to Zac, and he's never been attracted to me - which is even more amazing! Ha!"

Well, we believe her about him now being attracted to her!

She adds, "He always says I look hot, and I'm like, 'Aw, thanks Zac.' But really, it's more like siblings than a flirty relationship - he's seriously like my brother."

Wonder if that girl he's always with, Vanessa Hudgens, gets jealous much?

But Tisdale tries to play it off like she and Zefron are best buds.

She adds, "It's cool to have someone who's completely honest with you, who can give you a guy's opinion. And if I have a problem, I know I can call him whenever."

Zac Attacked!

There were some scary moments for Zac Efron when a man described as a "deranged fan" attacked the HSM3 star last night in London, according to the UK's Daily Mail. The paper reports that as Zac was leaving a theater, the man began shouting at Zac and then lunged forward and tried to grab Zac's hair. Security quickly removed Zac and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens from the area. Zac was a little shaken but wasn't injured in the attack. It's not clear at this point what sparked the attack.

Teen heart-throb and High School Musical star Zac Efron is hoping to be the new star of hit West End show Joseph.

According to reports for Zac, this would be his dream job, so he got in touch with Andrew Lloyd Webber about the role after hearing the current Joseph, Lee Mead, is due to leave soon. Lee, 27, who won the BBC’s Any Dream Will Do competition last year, will play Joseph at the Adelphi Theatre until mid-January.

Zac meet up with Andrew last month to work out a deal. A source close to Lloyd Webber said: “It is a marriage made in musical heaven. Zac loves the role and is keen to clock up some stage time in London.

“For Hollywood actors a spell in the West End offers credibility and can be extremely lucrative.”

Zac Efron is just obsessed with his hair.

At Ashley Tisdale's party, he reportedly spent a good amount of time inside the house flat ironing his locks.

Now, we find out that during the Teen Choice Awards, Zefron kept complaining about the humidity ruining his hair.

SO, what's a girl to do???

Well, he went backstage to ask around for a curling iron.

A source tells Star magazine, "One of the awards staff asked Zac who it [the flat iron[ was for, and he said Vanessa Hudgens, but it was really for him!"

And just moments after, Zefron was caught styling his hair.

The source adds, "He said the humidity was killing his hair and that it was flat."

At least he cares about his appearance. Maybe a bit too much!

Recently returned back home following a short trip to New York City, Zac Efron was spotted out and about in Los Angeles, California on Monday (July 21).

The High School Musical hunk sported a blue and grey baseball style shirt with jeans, sneakers and aviator glasses as he scurried past snapping photographers on the scene.

After finishing up with the filming of “High School Musical 3: Senior Year”, Disney couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were able to jet off for a short vacation in the Turks & Caicos. But since returning home, the two have been all business.

Earlier today (July 17), Vanessa was spotted being whisked away in a limo - soon finding herself hard at work shooting the Intelligentsia Coffee brand’s new ad campaign at Smashbox Studios.

The 19-year-old Disney starlet was spotted leaving Lavender Natural Beauty salon wearing a cute blue dress and a big smile on her face, staying for about ten minutes browsing various beauty products before making a purchase and driving back home.

"Aren't I cute?" Zac Efron's impish little grin seems to be asking us in these pictures of him on the set of his movie, Seventeen Again. And dammit, he totally is. I know the movie's sort of like a different version of Big, where a guy wakes up and is seventeen years old and faced with a second chance to do high school up right this time, but that's about all I know.

And shit, if I had been as cute as Zac at his age, I'd certainly enjoy taking that journey back in time. But let's be realistic here, the last thing I need is to wake up looking like my 17-year-old self and the be forced to convince my mother AGAIN that just because I happen to dress like and have the same haircut as Ellen DeGeneres does not mean I'm a lesbian.

Zac Efron finds airports to be as arduous as the rest of us. Here he is at JFK in NYC, before he boards a plane to Salt Lake City, Utah to begin filming High School Musical 3: Beaten Into The Ground.

Zac will reprise his role as the jazz hands-wielding hunk Troy Bolton (gay porn star name) as he tries to face the fact that he's going to be separated from bushfire-wielding Vanessa Hudgens when they go off to college.

Efron totally reminds me of late 70s-era Kristy McNichol. He seriously has that whole lesbian tomboy thing down. Floppy, unkempt hair. Straight leg jeans. Chucks. Western shirt. I can totally picture him making a bet at summer camp with another girl over who's going to lose their virginity first in 1978. Except he wants the other girl. Keep in mind that in this scenario, he's an androgynous lesbian teen. Summer camp makes you gay.
