I mean look: there are now books like Brocabulary: The New Man-i-festo Of Dude Talk and a social networking site called BroBible that allows dudes to "share stories of weekend revelries and exchange tips on romantic endeavors" (so basically, eHighFiving about Jaeger and pussy). There's also The Foggy Monocle—a site we admit to sometimes enjoying, except when there are posts like this. And, as the coup de grâce, there is the Brody Jenner reality program, punnily called Bromance. It's just gone too far!
Beer and farts and pretzels and bikinis and boorishness and messy rooms and unwashed hair and sloppy Band of Brothers-isms and all that is sort of endearing for a bit, but the minute it becomes so hyper-commodified like this, co-opted by big ol' marketing strategies, it, like so many other trends, becomes so epically embarrassing that I can barely bring myself to admit that a book called The Bro Code even exists. But what's the corrective for it?
I mean, is the bro-ness blowback from the cult of Ladybusiness that was heel-clacked and button-snapped into existence by Sex and the City? Will this dudenami eventually ebb back into the sea of the gender war, and we'll have another placid few years of mild Friends-ian sexual dynamics to apathetically contend with? At this point, I sort of hope so. Because if I hear one more thing about guy code (even though it is used in the hilarious It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) or bro-ness, I just might have to get all up in your face with hilariously clueless karate moves or like a little kid with glasses or an Asian chick or something. You know, something that's bro-funny.

Amy recently borrowed nearly $50,000 in Harvey Nichols dresses and returned them splattered in vomit to the dismay of the fashion bosses.
Disgusted, they decided to charge Amy for the gowns which were made of silk and satin.
But not only were the upscale dresses adorned with her puke, by the time she got around to returning them her splatters had grown green fuzzy mold!

George Michael was caught again this weekend with drugs while carousing a public bathroom.
Of course the bathroom was one of those where gay men have random sexual encounters.
A bathroom attendant informed police and when officers arrived they found Michael, 45, with marijuana and crack cocaine on him. He was taken to a police station where he admitted the drugs were his.
Police say that the pop star “showed remorse” so they decided to let it go and not charge him with anything, which seems odd since Michael has been arrested numerous times for the same thing. Makes no sense.
A police spokesperson said, “He was taken to a North London police station where he received a caution for possession of class A and class C drugs. He has been released and there will be no further action.”
Ok, so don’t throw him in jail, but at least make this guy go to rehab. He’s a MESS!

The gist: the biggest of these bundlers net GOP candidates huge donations from weirdos and losers who often have never even voted before. The almost-accusation: the bundlers are funneling their own cash to the candidates via third parties, which is illegal. Clinton donor Norman Hsu got in trouble for this. One small problem—the most unlikely of these donations went to Giuliani and Clinton, not McCain. The Post's lede and photo implicated McCain. Correction time! "Those donors — Rite Aid manager Ibrahim Marabeh, and lounge owners Nadia and Shawn Abdalla — wrote checks to Giuliani and Clinton, not McCain."
