Jailed Amy Winehouse has new man waiting for her on the outside

As we mentioned earlier today here, Amy Winehouse turned herself in for questioning and now has been arrested and thrown in jail today for allegedly headbutting and smacking some guy. The victim made the mistake of trying to help Wino, when she was blasted out of her mind.Well, Wino has an adoring man waiting for her when she gets out on bail tonight. No, I’m not talking about Blake who is still incarcerated. The UK Sun reports that little Amy has been secretly dating Alex Haynes (pictured on the right) for about a month.
Alex is her manager’s assistant and friends say she’s fallen “head over heels in love.” A friend told the Sun:
“It is a relief that it’s finally out and they have everyone’s 100 per cent backing. Alex is a good boy. He doesn’t smoke or take drugs. He isn’t a big drinker. Amy has really fallen for him.”
Wino has allegedly tried to keep the affair a secret, because she doesn’t want Blake to find out. She’s afraid he will do something to himself in jail. But in fact at his arraignment today in court Blake seems to have a girlfriend of his own.
And that might be because Amy has already broken it off with her husband. She reportedly visited him in prison on Monday to end it for good. She called her financial advisers a couple of weeks ago to talk about how she’s going to protect her $20 million fortune. That was smart of her, if true.
This Alex dude guy looks completely normal, sane and sober. So what the heck is he doing with Wino? Perhaps Alex is star struck. But really what the heck does he do when Amy is on a bender with her junkie friends, like last night for example? I guess he bails her out and takes her home. I just answered my own question. We’ll see which world Wino chooses, drugs, jail and the likes of Blake? Or does she clean-up and keep a guy like Alex? I don’t think she can be in both worlds for too long.

Amy Winehouse could face 6 months in jail for assault incident

Amy Winehouse cried crocodile tears this morning as she left her home for the police station. Wino is expected to be arrested this afternoon in London for allegedly headbutting one man and punching another while she was probably stoned out of her mind the other night.
Her spokeswhore said, : “Amy Winehouse will be voluntarily attending a London police station today by appointment with the police. We understand that she will be questioned in connection with an alleged incident in Camden in the early hours of April 23 2008.”
Wino faces up to six months in jail if convicted of assault. Those that have monetary interest in the soul singer perhaps have now lost their chance to get her back into rehab. Her record company got her into rehab for a brief stint before the Grammy’s but she didn’t stick it out long enough before getting out to perform. It’s a similar situation as with Pete Doherty. If they won’t willingly clean up, they end up in jail or worse OD.
The news came as her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, 25, appeared in Court where he denies charges of GBH and perverting the course of justice.
Blake’s trial begins June 2nd and could last six weeks. He was due to be released in May, but a judge ruled he will have to stay in jail until at least June 9th. In another strange development, Blake was seen smiling and winking at a girl in attendance for his hearing in court.
Blake mouthed, “You all right, babe?” and “I love you”, and later made a beckoning gesture suggesting she visit him in prison. She also gestured and mouthed back, “I love you, I love you”, but was warned to stop by the court clerk.
Outside court the girl said her name was Sophie Schandorff, 21. “I have known Blake a long time and I will be visiting him in prison,” she said.

Amy Winehouse now has reportedly started making plans to end her marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil. A crack addict making plans? The soul singer is supposedly waiting for Blake to be released from jail before she breaks the news to him, according to The UK Sun.
Fielder-Civil is currently awaiting trial at Pentonville Prison on charges of assault and attempting to pervert the course of justice.Winehouse has apparently missed several visits to the North London prison and is behaving like a “single woman” with friends. The troubled singer, 24, did not visit Blake on his 26th birthday in jail on Wednesday or send a card in time.
“Amy does everything she can not to visit,” said a source. “She forgets she is married half the time. There are a few men she is close to and Blake can’t stand it.”
The Back To Black star’s father commented: “It wouldn’t surprise me if Amy and Blake had broken up. Truthfully I don’t think even Amy knows what she wants.

No matter how dark things seem to get for Amy Winehouse, opportunities continue to poor in for the English pop-wreck. Amy is now set to team up with super-producer Mark Ronson to write and record the theme to the new James Bond film. next week.
Ronson is said to have arrived at Wino’s London home on Thursday to take her recording equipment to his country retreat. The duo will try to put together the biggest song of their careers. That’s no easy task because to date, Amy has recorded her most successful material, including Valerie, and Grammy-winning hit Rehab, with Ronson. This new collaboration will be featured in the 22nd Bond movie, Quantum Of Solace, which is out in October.
Ronson as a producer, has also worked with the likes of Lily Allen, Christina Aguilera and Robbie Williams.
When it comes to Ronson and Winehouse working together a source told the UK Sun:

Amy Winehouse photographed with a very swollen cheek was explained away by her rep as an infection caused by impetigo. The UK Sun newspaper has an alternate explanation and a lot more colorful as well. They say Winehouse aka Wino was smoking in a restaurant when a waitress told her three times that smoking wasn’t allowed. After the waitress gave her the third warning, Wino looked her in the eye and stubbed out her Marlboro Light on her cheek.
A witness said, “She hardly flinched because she was so high. The whole place was open-mouthed in horror. The waitress covered her mouth in shock and just walked off to tell the manager. It was a shocking sight.”
Amy then tried to conceal the wound with foundation but it become infected, causing the swelling on her cheek. The story makes sense given Amy’s self-harming tendencies.

Amy Winehouse is quickly returning to her old sad ways since leaving a rehab clinic a few weeks ago. And her friends are so worried about her, they are begging that she go back to rehab.A source said that Winehouse:
“was smoking cannabis and drinking heavily as soon as she left rehab. That has now increased. Everyone who’s seen her in the last week or so has been really disturbed by the state she’s in. She’s getting back to her worst. It was hoped her new album and fashion range would keep her focused but it hasn’t worked.”
Supposedly even her incarcerated husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, has threatened to ban his wife from visiting him in jail because he’s convinced she’s still on crack cocaine.
Adding to the worries, Amy has recently been spotted with scratches on her arms and mysterious marks and spots on her knuckles. Wino has a troubling history of self-harming while being high on drugs.
A friend of Winehouse said: “Amy’s in an awful state again — she’s clearly on drugs. Many of us think full-time residential rehab is the only option but she won’t go back.”
This was bound to happen. It’s just common sense that you can’t treat a crack and/or heroin addiction in two weeks! But I suppose in that time you can get a singer sober long enough to perform at a couple big award shows but then what? It’s going to be more difficult to get Amy back to rehab without a Grammy Awards appearance to dangle as a carrot this time.

According to reports, Amy Winehouse’s husband almost died after a drug overdose in prison. The hopelessly drug addicted Blake Fielder-Civil was taken to his jail’s hospital block after taking what he thought was heroin.Currently locked up in London’s Pentonville prison on assault, attempting to pervert the course of justice and GBH,charges, the 35-year-old Blake was found vomiting and writhing in agony in his cell.
He and six other prisoners took the drug in north London’s Pentonville prison before they all became sick.Just days before the overdose he was hauled in front of prison authorities for failing three random drug tests. He was locked in solitary as a punishment, but was soon back in search of a fix.
The source added: “He’s being very stupid. It’s only because everyone reacted so quickly that this dodgy gear didn’t do long-term harm.”
Blake who is fighting for the love of his famous wife sent Winehouse a romantic Valentine’s display. But now After failing the drug tests, Blake is banned from all contact with the outside world — leaving him fearful over his relationship with his wife.

While I understand where Natalie is coming from, I think it’s a slippery slope that can’t be followed. Is it not the spirit of the awards to merely judge who had the best song, album, etc.? Not who sets the best example or leads the most fit life style? What do you think?

The 50th Grammy Awards could be one of the best. Battered by illegal downloading, and dwindling sales overall, the music industry desperately needs the extra exposure from Sunday’s event. It almost didn’t get the chance, due to the writers’ strike. But there should be some interesting pairings and potentially dramatic live performances that fans will be watching carefully.Amy Winehouse and Kanye West are the most-nominated performers, and could be the top winners, at Sunday’s Grammy Awards, which will be shown live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles starting at 8 on CBS.
West was a late, but high profile, addition to the performance slate. The rapper, who leads the pack with eight nominations including album of the year, is expected to deliver a moving tribute to his mother, Donda West, featuring his hits “Stronger” and “Hey Mama.” Will West deservedly get the Grammy denied him in the last few years based on the sympathy vote because of his mother’s death?
Amy Winehouse a leading nominee (including best new artist and record of the year) is also set to perform after months of highly publicized personal struggles. will Grammy voters feel like enablers should they give out top prizes to Winehouse who has seemingly spent more time impaired than onstage in the last year? After struggles to get a visa on time while in rehab for drug abuse, Winehouse will be performing at the ceremony via satellite. “I’m really sorry I can’t be there but I appreciate that I’m being given a second chance via satellite,” Winehouse said in a statement.
Sunday’s show also promises splashy performances from Beyoncé, Carrie Underwood, Aretha Franklin, Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, Brad Paisley and Best New Artist nominee Feist.
Those who can endure the lengthy 3-1/2-hour event will also see a segment pairing Rihanna with a reunited version of ’80s R&B hitmakers The Time, plus several duets - between Fergie and John Legend, Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban, and a three-way with John Fogerty, Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis.

Troubled soul singer will not be allowed to fly to America
Amy Winehouse will not perform at the Grammy Awards this weekend because the United States has denied her entry into the country.The Outside Organization, which represents the troubled retro-soul sensation, said Winehouse’s request for a visa had been turned down by the U.S. Embassy in London.
“Unfortunately, her application for a visa to enter the United States of America has been rejected at this time by the American Embassy in London,” it said in an e-mail statement.
“Amy has been progressing well since entering a rehabilitation clinic two weeks ago and although disappointed with the decision has accepted the ruling and will be concentrating on her recovery.”
Although Winehouse won’t be at the Grammys in person, she, is up for six awards, for her breakthrough album “Back to Black.” Hopefully this personal setback will not discourage Amy from continuing her rehabilitation from drug abuse.

Amy Winehouse looks like she ready to do some housecleaning in that outfit but actually she’s taking a small break from rehab. She got some fresh air in London yesterday for the first time since going into rehab on January 24th. Earlier in the day she had visits from both her father and manager. Amy’s manager brought a care package of Nando’s take out and diet soda for the troubled singer. This break from rehab is apparently temporary, and it is still doubtful that the British songbird will be able to attend the Grammy’s which is only seven days away. Amy, was said to appear a bit unsteady but does have a better look about her and dressing a bit better too. Perhaps realizing now that clothing should not be optional, Amy’s infamous red bra is only slightly visible through her black t-shirt.

Lucian Grange presented the 24-year-old soul diva with a huge collection of newspaper cuttings from around the world documenting her downfall.A source at Universal Music Group said: ”Lucian got his international marketing manager to find and copy every piece of press from around the world. It took the guy two days.
“Lucian then laid everything out in his huge office and summoned Amy. He told her to have a good look, and tell him she hasn’t got a problem with drugs.
“It did the trick.” the source said.
Winehouse, famous for the lyrics “They tried to make me go to rehab I said no, no, no,” had to say yes, yes, yes, when faced with the stark reality of her situation. She is now under psychiatric surveillance in a central London hospital after checking in to the clinic on Thursday night. Thank you lord!

Amy Winehousehas been cooling her heels at singer Bryan Adams’s house in Mustique in the West Indies. Wino (as I like to call her) has been spending time on the sand and surf with her former beau, music manager George Roberts, during her winter holiday in the sun-drenched paradise. And Wino just got a lucky break! Prosecutors will not charge Amy Winehouse in her husband’s witness tampering case. The Rehab singer was released on bail in December after turning herself in at a London police station for questioning on the suspicion of perverting the course of justice over a suspected plot to bribe barman James King, who was allegedly beaten up by hubby Fielder-Civil in. Cops had searched Wino’s computer in Amy’s flat to see if she was involved in trying to set up a place in Spain for the King to lie low until the case collapsed.
Meanwhile, Fielder-Civil has been placed in solitary confinement after prison guards found him getting drunk behind bars and making calls on a cell phone he had smuggled into the jail, reports British newspaper the News of the World.

Amy Winehouse’s father has responds to his ex-wifes open letter plea. Mitch Winehouse is incredulous that his ex-wife suggested the singer has been abandoned by her family in her time of need - insisting he has been by his daughters side throughout her recent ordeal. Funny I haven’t seen him in the pictures when his daughter is seen walking around stoned in the middle of the night?
When Amy Winehouse was pictured wandering the streets outside her London home in just a bra and jeans it prompted her panicked mother, Janis, to sent an open letter to British rag News of the World pleading with her daughter to “pick up the phone” and “come home”.Among many other things, Amy’s mom had this to say:
“We were terrified after we saw those pictures of you earlier this week, wandering the freezing streets of London at dawn in your underwear. All I wanted to do was rush into those pictures and wrap you up in a big, warm blanket.”
In an impassioned plea Janis tells her headstrong daughter that she knows Amy will never change until she’s ready make the first step. But if and when she does, mom says the family will be there to do anything and everything they can to help.Meanwhile Winehouse’s dad, Mitch who split from Janis when Amy was nine-years-old - claims their daughter has been looking to him for support as she battles a drug addiction, while her husband Blake Fielder-Civil remains imprisoned at a London jail.
Mitch fumes,“It is absolute rubbish to suggest that no one has been in touch with Amy. I’ve seen her five times myself last week. We’re getting sick of the sight of each other, we are seeing each other that much.
“Amy is monitored all the time. She is with trusted people who care for her and look out for her. We are all encouraging and helping Amy at the minute and that is what is most important.”Trusted people who care for her and look out for her? Doesn’t seem so.

Rap star Kanye West received a leading eight Grammy nominations Thursday, and the troubled pop/soul singer Amy Winehouse, whose promising career has been sidelined by drug and alcohol problems, followed with six.Five acts received five nominations each — rock band the Foo Fighters, rapper Jay-Z, hip-hop producer Timbaland, pop singer Justin Timberlake, and R&B singer T-Pain.
West’s categories were mostly in the rap field, including nominations for best rap album (”Graduation”) and two entries for best rap song (”Can’t Tell Me Nothing” and “Good Life”).
Winehouse, 24, was nominated in all four of the top categories: record of the year, album of the year, song of the year (a songwriter’s award), and best new artist.
Other top nominees included the Foo Fighters, Jay-Z, Rihannna, Paul McCartney, T-Pain and Timbaland.Both West and Winehouse were nominated for album of the year for their CDs, “Graduation” and “Back to Black” respectively. Winehouse was also cited for best new artist, plus record and song of the year for her hit defiant hit “Rehab.”
Other record of year candidates included Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable,” the Foo Fighter’s “The Pretender,” Rihanna’s “Umbrella” and “What Goes Around Comes Around” by Justin Timberlake.
The album of the year category also featured the Foo Fighters, for “Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace,” as well as Winehouse’s album. Vince Gill’s four-disc set “These Days” was also cited, along with Herbie Hancock’s tribute to Joni Mitchell, “River: The Joni Letters,” and West’s “Graduation.”
Besides Winehouse’s “Rehab,” other song of the year candidates included Corrine Bailey Rae’s sweet-sounding “Like A Star,” Carrie Underwood’s revenge anthem “Before He Cheats,” The Plain White T’s “Hey There Delilah” and “Umbrella.”
Winehouse was competing against Feist, Paramour, Taylor Swift and Ledesi in the best new artist category.

Amy WinehouseAmy Winehouse was again captured on film at 4 am, as she was running an errand topick up some ice cream. She carried away an entire box filled of the stuff. It was obvious that there was a party going on. The press who stayed up to catch the party guests were not disappointed. Sadie Frost was seen visiting Amy at 6 am. Sadie was accompanied by a male friend. The previous few days had reports of Amy’s strange behaviors in the wee hours of the morning. For Amy Winehouse’s fans were hoping she might be trying to get her act together, the pictures coming out will not provide much reassurance. Barefoot, and clad only in her bra and jeans, the troubled singer emerged from a friend’s house in Bow at 5.45am on Sunday looking distressed and agitated - as her mother-in-law says she taking more drugs than ever. Amy Winehouse, the very troubled singer has caused another stir after she reportedly slipped into a bathroom during a short flight to smoke cigarettes and was caught by the flight attendants. Sources to the Daily Mail claim Amy spent about 30 minutes in the lavatory for the 1 hour flight from London to Glasgow, locking herself in the bathroom on 3 separate occassions for 10 minutes each! Apparently not caring that anyone would notice.The Sun reported that a female flight attendant eventually announced over the speakers:
“Our famous little friend is smoking in the toilet. It’s just that the smoke alarm hasn’t gone off yet.”
Amy’s minders hustled her out of the airport faster than you could say, “I smell smoke”. Anyone else likely would have been arrested as soon as the plane landed. A British Airways spokesman said cabin crew denied they had made the announcement, but there could be an internal investigation.

Police smashed their way into the home of troubled singer, Amy Winehouse today in a dramatic afternoon raid.Armed with a battering ram and crowbars, specially-trained officers forced their way into the singer’s home.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard said: “We can confirm there is police activity as part of an ongoing police operation.”
No information was given explaining the reason for the raid.
