Glitzing up the red carpet, Pink was spotted in attendance at the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards held in Liverpool, England on Thursday (November 6).
And the trip overseas has already paid off for the 29-year-old singer, as she picked up the first award of the night - “Most Addictive Track” for her hit song “So What”.
The stars were out in full force on Sunday evening for the 2008 MTV Movie Awards at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.
And the red carpet was full of top notch fashion, with celebs like Lindsay Lohan, Sarah Jessic Parker and the stars of The Hills all strutting their stuff for photogs lining the gold carpet.
Another MTV Movie Award show has come and gone, but this year without very much fanfare at all. In fact we didn’t even know it had been on until it was over. Maybe that’s because you aren’t really allowed to watch MTV if you are over 13 these days. Anywho…here are a few pics from the water-downed award show and a partial list of award winners. They’re known for their jet-setting ways, and Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe are enjoying all there is to offer in Australia.
The Reality TV vixens are in the land down under for the 2008 MTV Australia Awards before hitting up a fashion show by Perth designer Ruth Tarvydas. They arrived a day early to try and combat the massive jet lag, and it looks like they got plenty of beauty rest.
Mark Burnett Productions, the company responsible for the highly successful reality franchises, Survivor, The Apprentice and Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, just to name a few, is holding a contest for the 2008 MTV Movie Awards. Those of you aspiring filmmakers out there might want to pay close attention.
The 2008 MTV Movie Spoof Contest is offering regular schmoes the opportunity to submit a 3-minute spoof of a nominated movie for the chance to be flown out to LA to attend the 2008 MTV Movie Awards, hosted by Mike Meyers, at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA on June 1st. Also, if selected, your spoof would be up for competition for a chance to win a golden popcorn. (Cue the shaft of sunlight to shine mystically on you as you're reading this.)
