When it comes to British awards shows, the BAFTAs are where it’s at. And Kelly Brook looked amazing as she brought a touch of class to the night’s festivities.
As she arrived at the London Palladium, it was clear that all eyes were on Brook. Much like the Oscars, Golden Globes, and Grammys here in the States, last night was just as much about the red carpet as it was about the award winners.
While the US was enthralled with the Grammy Awards last eve, across the pond, there was another celebration going on - the BAFTA Awards.
And like any good celebrity-laden event, there was an afterparty. Stars like Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller (with her sweetie Rhys Ifans) showed up to hob nob with fellow winners and nominees.
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards (BAFTA) for 2008 are being held in a ceremony at the Royal Opera House in London tonight (February 10).
And the stars have already made it to the red carpet for the Johnathan Ross hosted event - which just so happens to be the overseas equivalent to the American Academy Awards.
While the States are gearing up for the Grammy Awards tonight, London has a few things going on, as well. Along with kicking off London fashion week, the BAFTA Awards get underway on Sunday (February 10).
Last night, stars like Jessica Biel and Keira Knightley attended Finch and Partners’ pre-BAFTA party at Mark’s Club in central London - both looking ready to have a good time.
When she was snubbed in the Oscar nominations for her role in “Atonement,” some of Keira Knightly’s former school teachers decided to take action.
Reportedly a few of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actress’ high school teachers came together to wish her well at the upcoming BAFTAs with a good luck card.
