ABC execs are reportedly willing to give Nicollette Sheridan what they’re calling a “peace package” to sway her from going forward with her $20 million wrongful termination lawsuit against her Desperate Housewives boss, Marc Cherry!

In a letter sent to dozens of Oscar nominees and others in the film industry set to attend Sunday’s Academy Awards, actor Danny Glover called on his fellow Hollywood elite and asked them not to wear Hugo Boss to the event.

Glover, in collaboration with labor union Workers United, is asking Hollywood to take a stand on behalf of nearly 400 Hugo Boss manufacturing workers in Cleveland, Ohio, who are set to lose their jobs if the company is allowed to close its plant there.

He is also asking attendees to wear a pin they were sent showing solidarity with the workers.

The pin reads: “Keep the Hugo Boss Plant Open.”

Attendees who were sent the letter and pin include George Clooney, Jeff Bridges, Sean Penn, Colin Firth, Morgan Freeman, Jeremy Renner, and Matt Damon.

Writes Glover in the letter:

“Please tell the world you won’t be wearing Hugo Boss on March 7.”

Through ads on celebrity news websites and Google search ads, as well as a campaign via email, Facebook, and Twitter, Workers United is promoting an online petition asking fans to join Danny Glover in calling on Oscar attendees not to wear Hugo Boss. The signatures will be delivered to attendees before Sunday night.

In a letter sent to dozens of Oscar nominees and others in the film industry set to attend Sunday’s Academy Awards,

Eliot Spitzer’s once-trusted confidante Lloyd Constantine wrote a book, out next week, about Spitzer’s downfall—and Spitzer’s none too happy. But it’s practically a hallowed tradition to write a tell-all about your famous boss.

Constantine (left) was Spitzer’s senior adviser; the two had been friends since 1982. Spitzer told the Times that Constantine’s book, Journal of a Plague Year (borrowed from Daniel Defoe’s novel about the Great Plague of London), is “a self-serving and largely inaccurate interpretation of events mixed with unfounded speculation. That such a close adviser and confidant of my family and member of my administration would choose to write such a book is a fundamental breach of trust.”

Andrew Young, pictured here testifying against his former boss, was John Edwards’s longtime adviser and confidante. When Edwards got Rielle Hunter pregnant, it was Young who bizarrely agreed to claim paternity. His book, The Politician, details all the sordid details of Edwards’s life that we really didn’t need to know. Of course, Young himself is incredibly creepy.

The late producer Julia Phillips’ 1991 book You’ll Never Eat Lunch in This Town Again was both the handiwork of a bitter former drug addict and a bombshell for a town used to people kissing its ass. Steven Spielberg was one of the many people Phillips had in her sights (she and her husband had produced Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind).

Although Lauren Weisberger always claimed that Miranda Priestley, the scary boss in The Devil Wears Prada, was a composite, everyone knew that Priestley was based on Anna Wintour, who was Weisberger’s first boss after she graduated from Cornell.

Likewise, author Bridie Clark always denied that Judith Regan was the inspiration for the boss in her roman a clef Because She Can (and indeed, Clark never worked directly for Regan), but there were striking similarities between Regan and “Vivan Grant,” who Clark describes in her book as “the most hot headed, ruthless woman in publishing.”

Then of course there’s John Dean, White House Counsel in Richard Nixon’s administration, who wrote Blind Ambition: The White House Years after the whole Watergate thing went down. Dean had testified against Nixon at the Watergate trial, but had no proof for his allegations against Nixon until the secret Watergate tapes came to light.

After the Super Bowl, CBS is debuting their latest reality show Undercover Boss. The show takes the bosses of large companies and puts them in the smallest jobs at the same company so that the big boss can see how the little man is keeping his company alive. In tonight’s episode the President of Waste Management is sent out to do some of the sh!ttiest jobs as his company like cleaning up porta potties and picking up loose papers. It was amazing to see the president of the company gets his hands dirty, really dirty and realizing how is little man is getting screwed. He actually learned how things needed to be changed and after he was done learning his lesson he actually makes changes. It wasn’t only doing the dirty work that made him change his mind, but his employees’ attitudes. Those relationships that he built on the job are something you have to see. So after the Super Bowl is over make sure to stay on CBS for a touchdown of a show! Plus who doesn’t want to see a boss clean up sh!t?

We can probably correctly assume that Samantha was the boss in her relationship with Lindsay, but last night Ronson bowed down to “The Boss” of rock n roll, showing off her love for Bruce Springsteen on her tee.

The DJ hit up Crown Bar for a gig last night in Los Angeles, where Spock himself, (Zachary Quinto, not Leonard Nimoy) showed up to rock out:
