Jamie Spears 49-year-old brother William Spears has been pontificating to the media again (we assume for money). Wise old Uncle Willy spoke to InTouch magazine this time to discuss his knocked up niece Jamie Lynn Spears. Uncle Willy speaking from his headquarters i.e. his camper van home, said that Jamie Lynn was an accidental pregnancy and that Jamie Spears didn’t want her. What a sweet old uncle he is.
Uncle Willy explained that Jamie had a vasectomy after Britney was born and he was shocked to learn Lynne was pregnant. He said, “Jamie got awfully mad. He said it couldn’t be his.” Jamie also demanded a DNA test which proved Jamie Lynn was his.
Uncle Willy added, “That’s why they named her Jamie Lynn, to kind of make the point that she was from both of them.” He thinks “history is repeating itself,” because Jamie Lynn’s accidental pregnancy. A month or so ago Uncle Willie accounted for Britney’s recent struggles saying that her dad and ‘home life’ doomed her here.

According to the National Enquirer (via MSNBC) Jamie Lynn wants to run away from her mother and move to Los Angeles to live with Daddy. Lynne Spears is supposedly doling out some tough love and not letting poor little Jamie Lynn smoke, drink and party the way she wants to. Jamie Lynn saw Britney do it with no ill effects to her sons and figures her baby will be fine too, according to the source.
“She wants to be settled in before the baby is born in March or early April — and she wants to be closer to film projects she’d like to start after giving birth.”
Jamie Lynn’s big plan is to go to Los Angeles and become a working mom. And how are you going to stop her, after all she’s all grown up at 16? It’s tough to keep these partying Spears’ sisters locked away for very long. Britney herself has probably started digging a tunnel to get out of the psych ward.

I was kind of hoping to give Britney a rest for the day, but couldn’t resist this story. The Los Angeles Police Department were reportedly called to Britney’s house on Friday after her parents discovered several apparently valuable items missing.
After Jamie Spears was granted conservatorship of his daughter at an emergency hearing Friday, he and ex-wife Lynne returned to the house, probably to change the locks on her house, but were “shocked” to find valuable items ”had been stolen.”
They called the cops and filed a report.
Spears’ folks believe that items were taken after their daughter was taken to the UCLA Medical Center early Thursday morning.
Hmm, who do you think would have had access to Brit’s house that might want to remove a few things, while they can???

Well we don’t know the culprit is yet but Los Angeles’ finest are on it.
On other perhaps related news Britneys’ manager Sam (I am) Lutfi, is supposedly vowing to contest the conservatorship and put up a fight in court, on his clients behalf of course. A 21-day civil harassment restraining order was granted against Sam, who has in return been accusing Jamie and Lynne of poor parenting. Restraining order and poor parenting, could they both be right?

The Spears family is now angry with Dr. Phil, as apparently his proir butt kissing has worn off. Though they haven’t said whether they gave Dr. Phil McGraw permission to see their daughter at the hospital or not they are calling the way he handled his contact with Britney a betrayal, inappropriate, and a total breach of their trust.
The Spears family rep Lou Taylor appeared on the “Today” show on their behalf and told Meredith Vieira that:
Dr. Phil actually broached the subject of doing a show about Britney, but that they nixed the idea, only to have Phil try to set up the show anyway. Taylor scorched Phil, saying it was even “inappropriate” for Phil to bring up doing a show, and that the family thought it would be detrimental to Britney.
What’s more, Taylor said that the family felt “betrayed” that Phil would issue any kind of statement after meeting with Brit, and that nobody had given him any authority to say anything, much less bellow on and on like he did.

Meanwhile Britney got slapped with a restraining order by the LAPD, according to People Magazine at the time of her meltdown Thursday and must stay at least 100 feet from Kevin Federline, according to the “emergency protective order,” which was issued to “stabilize the situation.” The order was confirmed by K-Fed’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan, and was enforced for five business days – i.e., ending today. No word on whether it will be extended. On Jan. 4, Spears, 26, was stripped of all visitation rights with sons Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1, pending the ex-couple’s next custody hearing on Jan. 14.

These rumors have been percolating for awhile but now a full story has come out by none other then Star Magazine claiming Casey Aldridge is taking the fall for the Jamie-Lynn Spears pregnancy. The “real” father allegedly is actually a much older exec that Jamie-Lynn has worked with on the TV show “Zoey 101″ for years. The smoking gun theory is, since Casey Aldridge did publicly date Jamie-Lynn, and, being less than two years older than she is, he can’t be held on statutory rape charges. Friends have said that Jamie Lynn was no longer even seeing Casey. In fact, Star claims Casey had a pregnancy scare with a different girl this past spring, and had to confess to Jamie Lynn.
In fact, Star even insists Casey was openly dating yet another girl at the same time as he was supposed to be romancing Spears. “Yes, my sister is dating Casey - they’ve been dating for a while,” said Kevin Seals of his sister Whitney Seals.
A source told Star, “Casey is being paid off to be the family’s fall guy while the real father remains unidentified. The man many suspect is the father, however, would face charges and probably prison time if he were to come forward and admit he had sex with her.”
But in Jamie Lynn’s home state of Louisiana, Casey would escape charges because a 16-year-old can legally have sex with someone less than two years older than her. “Conveniently, Casey falls under the bar by just 26 days.
“The man many suspect is the father, however, would face charges and probably prison time if he were to come forward and admit he had sex with her,” Star magazine states.
The magazine quotes “two separate Spears family insiders” who believe the father is someone who works on Jamie Lynn’s kids’ show. “Jamie Lynn has been working on Zoey since she was 13,” one of the sources said. “In Hollywood, little girls grow up fast, and she is no exception.
“With everything that has gone on in her family, she needed someone to look up to.
“But the man she found seems to have completely taken advantage of her.”
Whether Star Magazine toldly fabricated this story or not these types of things have gone on in Hollywood for years. Only a DNA test would verify this story is true and why would the Spears family do that if they are trying to protect Jamie and this unnamed Hollywood Exec? The question now is do you believe this story? By the way don’t the parents have to press charges for statutory rape to stick?

Jason Alexander (no, not the one from Seinfeld) who was Britney Spears’ husband for 55-hour after their impromptu wedding in 2004, has gotten a few more moments in the spotlight. Jason speaking from his apparently very bitter experience with the Spear’s family thinks Casey Aldridge perhaps did himself a favor by knocking up Jamie Lynn Spears. Casey, who has a job laying pipes (apparently that is something he does well) for a Baton Rouge oil company, has mostly kept out of sight since the prenancy anouncement. Jason seems to strongly identify with Casey’s situation and think’s he had better watch his back.
“First thing I thought when I heard about Jamie Lynn was at least that boy got her pregnant so they couldn’t tell him what to do like they did me,” the Louisiana native said yesterday outside his Kentwood home.
“He’s got a little more leeway — more rope to pull with. All I had was a signed marriage license.”
The 26-year-old Alexander said that the “Spears publicity machine” probably has Casey on lockdown like they did to him after he married Britney in a shotgun Vegas ceremony in 2004.
He wants the 18-year-old college drop-out to realize he doesn’t have to do what they say.
“I don’t think this boy Casey knows what he’s gotten into,” he told Sunday’s New York Post.
“When our publicity hit, I was advised to let them handle everything and it’ll blow over.
“After Brit and I got married, there was never a time when… we had her family and my family in the same room to discuss what was going to happen.
“Looking back, I’d want to say to them, ‘You’re not going to powerhouse me and play chess with my life,’” he said.
“The Spears family is not a bad family,” he added. “They’re just big business and have advisers.”
Alexander said that he was clueless when he signed the annulment after the marriage ended just over two days later. Apparently Alexander now realizes he gave away his bargaining chip to riches and perhaps love to easily and hopes Casey Aldridge doesn’t do the same.

Lynne Spears forthcoming parenting book will still be published, despite the backlash of her teenage daughter Jamie-Lynn’s pregnancy. No surprise really!
Lynne Spears and daughter Jamie-Lynn, 16, confirmed she is 12-weeks pregnant with student Casey Aldridge’s baby in an interview with OK! magazine on Tuesday Dec 19th, 07. Lynne Spears made all the arrangements with OK! magazine beforehand to break the bombshell news demonstrating her ‘management skills’.
The news was first reported to have thrown doubt on whether Lynne’s second book Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame in a Tabloid World, which follows her adventures raising two famous daughters, would ever be released. The spin doctoring began with Lindsey Nobles, a rep for publisher Thomas Nelson saying:
“It is her memoir, not a parenting book,”.
Christian publisher Thomas Nelson has confirmed the book will still come out:
“Lynne’s memoir will provide a window into the real-life world of fame and worldly success, including the toll it extracts from some who aspire to it. “It will provide a much-needed corrective to a world obsessed with the wrong priorities. “We believe in redemption. Therefore, we are standing with Lynne and her family during this difficult time. Though the book has been delayed, we believe God is at work.”
When you think about it with the Spears family not missing a beat to sell the breaking pregnancy story off to OK! magazine, Lynne is certainly not going to waste the opportunity to get her book out there, while the ‘iron is hot’.
Meanwhile as Execs at Nickelodeon are grappling with what to do, teen magazines struggle with how to react to Jamie-Lynn’s pregnancy:
CosmoGIRL! Editor-in-Chief Susan Schulz, told Us weekly magazine: “I was considering her for an upcoming cover, but with this news, I’d have to rethink that.”
Though Schulz praised 16-year-old Spears for “taking responsibility,” Schulz added: “I don’t feel like I can put her on the cover right now because, as you can imagine, girls are disappointed in Jamie Lynn.”
Seventeen magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Ann Shoket, added: “we would certainly consider putting Jamie Lynn on the cover, but only after she overcomes this moment and goes on “to have a career our readers can look up to.”
“Getting pregnant at 16 is not something we’re encouraging,” Shoket says.
Schulz continued that she doesn’t expect teen girls to follow in Britney Spears’ little sister’s footsteps.
“Girls aren’t going to go out and get pregnant because Jamie Lynn did, quite the opposite,” the Shoket says. She said they’re probably thinking, “‘I’m so glad that’s not me.’”

You might be asking how OK! Magazine got the big scoop on the Jamie Lynn Spears pregnancy story. Sources close to Britney’s family have told TMZ:
“it started when Britney melted down on an OK! Magazine photo shoot. Britney’s mom, Lynne, read the article and called OK! personally to thank them “for handling it so well.” She stayed in touch with OK!, and called them this week when she learned that news of Jamie’s pregnancy was about to break. Her only requirement? Keep Britney out of it. This is about Jamie Lynn. “She trusted them to do it in a way that would be sympathetic to her daughter”.
Apparently if you can believe this, Jamie and mom did not want money, but OK! has agreed to pay $1 million to the younger Spears for a photo shoot when the child is born. One of those first born deals but this is no fairy tale. Meanwhie father Jamie is said to be “furious” with Jamie Lynn and his ex-wife Lynne for selling the story of her pregnancy to OK! magazine. Moral of the story: Behind every troubled child there is at least one screwed up parent and often two?
The same source also says Jamie is further along than the 12 weeks that is currently being reported. Expect a spring baby.Also there are some doubts about how serious Jamie Lynne was about her relationship with Casey Aldridge. In an interview with the Associated Press shortly before Thanksgiving, the 16-year-old said she did not have a serious boyfriend.
“I kind of just keep my options open,” she said. “I have a bunch of friends that I always hang out with, a bunch of guy friends.”
Guess those options have been reduced for awhile.
Meanwhile a little more insight into the Spears family dynamic. Kevin Federline was one of the first people to find out about Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy, thanks to his close relationship with his ex-mother-inlaw, Lynne. Lynne told Kevin about it on Monday, because Lynne wanted Kevin to be prepared when Britney found out.” Meanwhile Britney was left to find out on her own. Perhaps another dagger in Brit’s fragile relationship with her mom.
