So MSNBC going back to more "traditional" election coverage? Looks like that David Gregory ascendancy everyone predicted back before the Rachel Maddow ascendancy is finally happening! All because Tom Brokaw and Brian Williams are embarrassed by those loud shouty people and Jeff Zucker's in serious trouble with the rest of the Illuminati. Well it's a stupid, stupid idea, for many reasons. Reasons which we'll explain below.
So, MSNBC President Phil Griffin, be a fucking man for once and hold your ground against Zucker and NBC News President Steve Capus and even Original Blowhard Tom Brokaw (seriously, why did the act of "retiring" bestow respectability upon that hack?). If people wanted Brian Williams and David Gregory to cover everything quietly and politely they'd actually watch your evening news. Scarborough, Olbermann, Matthews, and Maddow are the best of cable this year, because of their unique ability to annoy the shit out of each other and also to generally know what the fuck they're talking about, which is basically unheard of on television, let alone cable news.
I had been reading how weird this interview with Eva Longoria was on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno where Russell Brand was also on the couch with her, and after seeing it it didn’t disappoint. About mid-way through the interview loses it when Russell Brand misheard what she said when she said PETA and thought she said pea on her. But the weirdest part comes at 7:00 in when Eva Longoria gives the men some M&Ms from her secret hiding place.
And I knew Eva Longoria was tiny, but didn’t realize how tiny she was compared to Russell’s hair.
That is a not a good pair jeans for Eva Longoria especially from that angle. The zipper and the camel toe show that those jeans are too tight for her new fuller figure and that shirt is not helping the pregnancy rumors.

On her first job, at Wendy's: I worked there for six years! It was my high school job. I loved it. And I still love them. They are an amazing organization. I still keep in touch with my manager from when I was 14. They are just great to me. I wanted to have a quinceanara, so I went to Wendy's to work to pay for my own quinceanara. I stayed. I paid for my cheerleading and everything through that. It was like whatever you want to do outside of school, you have to pay for it. I never had a car because I was always trying to save.
It is so easy to hate Eva Longoria, but then she says something like that and it makes it hard not to like her.

The “Over Her Dead Body” babe looked cute in her Gabrielle Solis getup, sporting a summery magenta dress along with a pair of matching flip flops.
Eva Longoria was filming scenes on Desperate Housewives with what looked like her normal hair length and then when she left with Tony Parker she debuted her new short do. I think the new cut is cute, but I wonder when she had time to do it because we just saw on vacation with longer locks.

We were left to wonder if our favorite lady on Wisteria Lane would be back in the future and the answer yes she will be! Last night the two-hour finale for Desperate Housewives gave us a peek into the future of Wisteria Lane, leaving us with a few surprises.
Gaby looks like crap, understandably because she has two daughters and as far as we can see no father around. Bree has some sort of cookbook out and is back together with husband Orson. Lynette's twin sons both have records for stealing cars, and at least one has made a stay in juvenal. Katherine's daughter Dylan got engaged in Paris.
But the big shocker of the futuristic montage?
Susan isn't married to Mike any longer, but she does have a new good looking man in her life.
Oh and by the way, where is Edie? The floozy probably ran off with Mike. How predictable!

Teri Hatcher has a new project in the works – but does it spell the end of Desperate Housewives? The Lifetime network is looking for new shows, although this one sounds a little bit like Gilmore Girls to me.
Looking for a beachhead in original comedy, the network has three shows in the pipeline, including “Burnt Toast,” which is adapted from “Desperate Housewives” star Teri Hatcher’s eponymous book about a forty-something mom and her daughter.
I haven’t read Teri’s book, but it’s an autobiography, and the show will probably be a broad take on it.
Whether or not a new series, featuring Teri in production or star duties, would spell the end of her featuring on Desperate Housewives is up to question. I wouldn’t be sorry to see the end of it.
Besides, I think the show is nearing its natural conclusion. So far the characters have murdered several people, had babies and cancer and affairs, survived a tornado, faked their own deaths, come out as homosexual… I think the turning point for my interest in the show was when Bree hid her daughter away in a nunnery so she could escape the embarrassment of a teen pregnancy, and Bree would raise the child. What is this - Desperate Housewives 1956? So many grandparents raise their grandchildren now that it would have been a modern and challenging storyline.
Note by Celebitchy: The ratings for the first episode of Desperate Housewives in three months after it returned on Sunday following the writer’s strike were at a record low. It received 16 million viewers as compared to an 18.9 million average last season, but was still the most viewed show in its time slot. It doesn’t look like DH is going away anytime soon.
Eva Longoria is one of those women who looks way better with makeup, so hopefully from now on that is the only way she should be seen…with makeup.

Although ABC and Mark Cherry wanted to hold the Desperate Housewives conclusion of the tornado episode until after the WGA strike was over, they have decided to air it on January 6th. I think they are doing to promote one of there new shows that will fill time for the time being.
Anyways who cares why, I am glad that they are airing it because I have to admit I was really p!ssed that they were holding it. I think in ways they held it too long because part one is such a powerful episode. But what do we know we are the schmucks who sat through 2 and a half bad seasons to get one good episode. Hopefully we will get a second on the 6th.

ABC and Marc Cherry promised that Sunday's episode was the best episode of the season and they delivered! The last ten minutes of the episode were the best of the last three seasons. So why do I hate Marc Cherry? Well as you can see from that clip Sunday's Desperate Housewives ended in an amazing cliffhanger that makes you wonder who survived that tornado, but according to Watch with Kristin we will not find out who did until after the WGA strike ends.
Sources tell Krisitn Marc Cherry & Co. have already shot the next episode, but they are holding it until after the strike ends to keep fans guessing and make sure they return to the show when it’s back on the airwaves.
Marc I know you sat at the negotiating table before the strike, but if you take to long to air the episode I might not return. If I thought that Sunday’s episode was the last one written and shot before the strike, I wouldn’t be so hateful. But the fact that he is holding it really pissed me off. I say to ABC and Marc Cherry air that episode if you have it, think of the fans you want to keep and not lose.
BTW I never thought I would say I hate Marc Cherry because I love anyone who worked on Golden Girls! But holding back an episode to us loyal fans who watched three years of crap leading up to Sunday’s episode is just wrong.
OK I feel better now that I vented, here is a great death from the episode…one of the three deaths that is rumored to have occurred during the show.

Marc Cherry admits he and his writing team have honored their fellow Writers Guild of America members and come out on strike--and that could mean a very early end to the current season of the show.He says, "We've shut down and that's it--until it's all over."
Cherry admits the writing team has only completed work on nine episodes, and they'll run out in the next month.

OMG! When she took off her wig in front of the bitchy mom and the other housewives saw, I started cry. How amazing was Felicity Huffman's acting last night on Desperate Housewife! I can't wait to see how they play out her storyline…because the other ones were boring me. Seriously how lame was the way they resolved the Edie situation? And isn't the Dylan thing almost the same as the Mary Alice mystery child storyline? It is too soon in the show's life to repeat storylines.
