T.I. Back To Jail

Let’s try this again.
Sources have confirmed that T.I. has officially checked back into prison, beginning his 11-month stint in Arkansas this afternoon.
This sentencing comes from T.I. breaking his probation this past September after he was found guilty of drug possession on the Sunset Strip.
Sucks, but actions have consequences. (Well, for most people. Right […]

Lindsay Lohan Ordered Back to Rehab, Avoids Jail Time

Facing the consequences of her actions, Lindsay Lohan was on-hand at the courthouse in Beverly Hills, California on Friday morning (October 22).

Arriving with lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, as well as police escorts, the troubled “Georgia Rule” actress headed inside to face Judge Elden Fox’s decision as to her punishment for failing two drug tests while on probation.

With jail and rehab sitting as the two possible outcomes, Judge Fox ended up ordering LiLo back to the Betty Ford Center – where she’ll stay until January 3, 2011 at the very earliest.

Once released from treatment, Miss Lohan is slated to reappear before the judge on February 25 with drug testing required once she exits rehab.

Clearly elated that she’s avoiding time behind bars, a weeping Lindsay simply said “Thank you” to the judge before being escorted out of the courtroom.

BREAKING NEWS – Lindsay Lohan WILL Be Bailed Out Of Jail

mugshot230.jpg Judge Elden Fox threw Lindsay Lohan in jail earlier today after the actress failed two drug tests and violated her probation, but Judge Patricia Schnegg, Assistant Supervising Judge for the Los Angeles County Criminal Courts, has thrown out his ruling and set Lindsay’s bail at $300,000!

Lindsay is expected to leave the Lynwood Correctional Facility tonight, and she’ll have to have a SCRAM bracelet put on within 24 hours.

The terms of her bail also dictate that she is not allowed to be in establishments where alcohol is the “chief item of sale,” she can’t be around known drug users, and she must submit to search by law enforcement at any time, according to TMZ.

Maybe Lindsay should keep Shawn Chapman Holley on her case! This woman is a miracle worker!

Lindsay Lohan: Keeping Her Mind Off of Legal Matters

Only two days away from her courthouse hearing, Lindsay Lohan was spotted shopping the day away in Los Angeles on Wednesday (September 22).

The “Mean Girls” starlet chatted away on her cell phone as she she visited RVCA vintage clothing store and the local H&M.

Set to appear in front of Judge Elden Fox on Friday (September 24), LiLo wrote after her failed drug tests, “I am so thankful for the support of my fans, loved ones and immediate family, who understand that i am trying hard”

She added, “but also that I am a work in progress, just as anyone else. I am keeping my faith, and I am hopeful….Thank you all!!!”

Lindsay Lohan's Inferno Director: "Why Would Failing A Drug Test Make Her Uncommitted?"

Let’s review the sad facts first. One, Lindsay Lohan is still determined to star in the exploitative Linda Lovelace biopic Inferno for her big comeback. And two, she just failed a drug test, testing positive for cocaine.

Talk about whoops! That being said, LiLo took responsibility for her actions on Twitter and admitted to having “a disease.” But is it too late?

“Let’s see what the judge says,” Inferno director Matthew Wilder wrote to The LA Times. Still, he admitted that “people aren’t… like… overly enthused!”

According to the term’s of Lindsay’s probation, the actress might have to return to jail for 30 days. Inferno is scheduled to start shooting in November in Louisiana and another possibility is that the judge will restrict Lindsay’s travel freedom.

But Wilder and co. remain calm: “Our financier is actually surprisingly sanguine under the circumstances.” And he later added (about LiLo’s commitment to the project), “Why would failing a drug test make her uncommitted?”

Hmm, maybe no one’s worried because Lindsay’s problems keep mimicking the troubled character she’s set to portray. A case of life imitating art?

Paris Hilton: No Felony, No Jail Time

Getting quite the fortunate break, Paris Hilton will bot be heading back to the big house due to her Las Vegas cocaine bust last month.

With her high-powered attorney David Chesnoff working his magic, the former “Simple Life” star will avoid a felony charge in lieu of two misdemeanor counts of drug possession and obstructing an officer.

With prison time no longer an issue, Miss Hilton instead received one year of probation, a $2000 fine, drug education classes and 200 hours of community service.

Warning Paris that any more mess-ups will mean a year behind bars, Clark County District Attorney David Roger told local press, “If she is arrested for anything besides a minor traffic violation she will spend a year in jail. There will be no discussion.”

Telling that his client is fully aware of the situation, Chesnoff said, “Ms. Hilton understands the seriousness of the situation and appreciates the chance she is being given. She has to stay out of trouble.”
