Things are changing at the Playboy Mansion these days. And last night (October 21), we got to see what could appropriately be called the “changing of the guard.”
Without his usual companions, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner was spotted out at a book signing at Book Soup in West Hollywood, California to promote the new book “Mr. Playboy.”
I already can’t stand these two!
But I tell you what, these 19-year-old bimbos are loving the attention right now.
TMZ cameras caught the sisters out and about, in slinky black dresses and their hair curled and sprayed to perfection.
The photogs tried prying some info out of them but they kept quiet, instead posing for cameras with their big ol’ bobbleheads rotating for the cameras.

I knew the qualifications for being Hugh Hefner’s girlfriend were pretty specific. You’ve got to be a certain cup size, a certain band, certain waist size, and your I.Q. can be no higher than 100. While those seem pretty strict, I didn’t realize they are literally the ONLY requirements to be Hef’s girl. Turns out your face can look more like your ass and you can have multiple assault arrests on your record and you’re still a-o.k. So basically there is a beauty from the neck down rule, but no sanity rule. Your head doesn’t count at all.
Lucky for 19-year-old twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon. They’ve given the beat down to others, to each other, and I’m guessing someday to Kendra and whoever else dares to stay in the Playboy mansion. I seriously hope they lock the grotto at night.

Karissa also has a misdemeanor battery charge on her record from 2007. Atta girl!

Karissa also beat the crap out of Kristina two months before the above assault. She kicked Kristina in the face, which really isn’t all that surprising. Though both girls are supreme butterfaces, Karissa looks distinctly uglier than Kristina. I think she was just trying to even stuff out.

We’ve learned Karissa Shannon was arrested just two months before she and sis Kristina were pinched for aggravated battery back in January. In this case, however, she was popped for kicking her own twin sister in the face. Lovely.
Here’s the blow-by-blow, according to the charge report: When cops showed up, Kristina was lying on the ground outside their apartment “wearing only blue jean pants” and “bleeding from her nose,” while Karissa was standing over Kristina asking who had done this, “as if she had no idea what had happened.”
Best part: a neighbor said he witnessed the one twin kicking the other twin in the face, though “he could not identify which sister was which.” Karissa eventually fessed up.

I seriously hope Hef has 24-hour security around him. There is no way I would trust these girls. They’re 19. He’s 83. They’re evil/crazy and will beat down someone they used to share a womb with. What do you think they’d do to get their hands on some of Hef’s cash? Not that Holly Madison was all that classy, but these girls make her look like some kind of saint in comparison.

I’m sure this gives reassurance to all those girls out there that the guy they broke up with last weekend is definately stringing up that noose in their living room like they imagine, right? I’m hearing a little bit of static about Kendra Wilkinson finding her own place and dating other guys too, so i suppose Hef has to definately make sure he gets something more incredibly young and twisted. What the hell is his secret?! I bet that smoker jacket of his is lined with crack cocaine.

Every time they go out, it’s like an instant party. And last night (October 2), Hugh Hefner treated Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson to a night out on the town.
The “Girls Next Door” ladies and their Playboy mogul boyfriend grabbed dinner at STK restaurant before arriving at Foxtail night club in West Hollywood in a chauffeured SUV limousine, looking ready to have a good time.
When the bad economy is affecting the ever-resilient porn industry, you know we’re in deep, deep trouble. In fact I wasn’t as worried as I probably should be – until I read that Playboy seems to be undergoing a financial crisis. If even the gold standard of porn can’t hold it together, what’s left for the rest of us?
Though Hugh Hefner is reported to be “breaking up” with two of his three girlfriends, it appears more that they’re getting laid off. According to the Daily News, the company is having financial problems, and Hef has been told to lay off some of his employees. I’m pretty sure Kendra and Bridget fall under that title. And I’m only sorta joking.
It’s been a bad week for Playboy.
Girlie magazine magnate Hugh Hefner has become the latest victim of the financial crisis. According to published reports, advisers have told the 83-year-old tycoon to lay off some of his staff at his L.A. and New York offices - or face bankruptcy.
Though the news might seem surprising, insiders at the company say the situation has been worsening for “a while,” reports Britain’s Telegraph. “Only the top brass has known for a while how bad things have been for Hef recently,” one insider said.
Meanwhile, spokesperson Elizabeth Austin would neither confirm nor deny the financial problems, saying, “It is our policy not to comment on corporate matters such as employee issues.”

In early August it was reported that Hefner was trying to cut costs; that Playboy was ceasing its legendary parties, and even rumors that Hef was going to sell the mansion. Though he denied it at the time, it seems there’s some truth to it after all. They say some industries are resilient because we always need them. Jobs like doctors, police officers, etc. I just always assumed being a Playboy bunny was one of them. There goes my backup plan.

Taking a break from her luxurious life at the Playboy Mansion, Holly Madison was spotted grabbing lunch with a friend at Le Petit Café in West Hollywood’s Sunset Plaza.
The “Girls Next Door” hottie looked cute and casual in a white screenprinted t-shirt with a black sweatshirt tied around her waist, along with a pair of relaxed fit jeans, black Converse All-Stars, and a Louis Vuitton handbag.

Despite being caught canoodling with Criss Angel on two separate occasions, Hugh Hefner and number one girlfriend Holly Madison are still together, according to Hef!
He tells Us:
"She is still my girlfriend. Now will that last? I don't think anything lasts forever."Hef's aware that sooner or later, he'll have to say goodbye to Holly, as she's made it quite clear she wants marriage and a family, and Hef says "that isn't very much in the cards for me." But for now, they're still together. As for Kendra and Hef? Well, rumors that the sporty bunny is engaged to Philadelphia Eagles' Hank Baskett are untrue, according to her MySpace. Yesterday, she so eloquently wrote:

The godly powers of this man are amazing. For a fact, I don’t think anyone ever wants to leave the mansion. Little kids have wet dreams about being in that house, and if I was one of the girls I would be thinking “Hell, I freaking slept and did unspeakable things to this old geezer. There is no way I’m going to just leave my free meal ticket if I can help it.” Those girls will continue bleaching their gray hairs blonde and eating carrots and spinach like there’s no tommorrow.

Hugh Hefner has decided that the one thing The Girls Next Door really needs is to make the show more complicated. Not that it’s exactly hard to follow now… but should it be? Apparently Hefner thinks so, because he says all three of his current girlfriends will probably be getting spinoff shows that will be somehow connected and interwoven into the main show. Because that’s what The Girls Next Door was really missing. More random confusion.
Rumors have been circulating that The Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson is getting a spinoff here at E! because she’s moving out of the Playboy Mansion, but Hugh Hefner has a surprise for you.
While he won’t confirm anything about [Kendra ] Wilkinson, Hefner says, “I think all three girls are likely to get spinoffs. I think they will be interconnected to the main show, and we will all appear on both.”
…And while we’re on the subject of rumors, Hefner also shoots down the recent one about Madison supposedly leaving him for Mindfreak illusionist Criss Angel. But being the businessman that he is, Hefner really doesn’t mind what seems like around-the-clock gossip. “All the rumors are only going to give us more ratings,” he said.
He does promise that if anything changes between him and any of the girls “all of that will be on the show, because this show, unlike most, really is a reality show. It deals with our lives and wherever that takes us.”

What’s sad is that I actually don’t think Hef’s last line is PR bullshit. It probably is the most accurate reality show out there. Simply because I really do believe the Playboy bunnies’ lifestyles are about as random and empty and yet camera-friendly as they appear on the show. So they probably don’t have to do much to artificially heighten the drama.
And now, thank goodness, we may have three times the empty-headed girls. All interwoven. I’m already confused. But watching, nonetheless.

When you’re Hugh Hefner’s #1 girl, there’s almost an unwritten rule that you have to know how to shop. And Holly Madison definitely fulfills the criteria.
The “Girls Next Door” babe was spotted spending some serious cash out on Robertson Boulevard during her Labor Day holiday. And she looked hot in a black off-the-shoulder shirt, denim skirt, knee-high tubesocks and a pair of Converse All-Stars. Oh, and don’t forget the Louis Vuitton handbag.
It wouldn’t be a party without Hugh Hefner and his Girls Next Door. The foursome arrived at the Mann Village Theater in Westwood last night (August 20) for the big LA premiere of “The House Bunny.”
And given that the storyline revolves around a former Playboy Playmate who gets ousted from the Playboy Mansion, Hef and the girls had plenty of material to relate to.
I don't know exactly what is going on here (or who half of these people in the photos below are) at Playboy's annual "A Midsummer's Night Dream" bash at the Palms, but I do know that Hef looks a bit overwhelmed!
He denies it, but from the looks of this photo, do you think the original Playboy is finally ready to retire his pajamas?

For all those out there who are devastated over the rumors going around that the Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion is closing for business, I’m here to tell you the good news: it ain’t.
“Absolutely false,” Playboy’s PR director tells E! News of the rumor. “We’re having a huge Halloween party, a New Year’s Eve party…it’s full steam ahead.”
So you know what that means. There is more than enough time to whore yourself into the mansion and live out every jealous guy’s fantasy. You are one bad ass wrinkly guy, Hugh Hefner, you definitely are.

Hef went further, trying a foursome out on his own family. “It did happen with his brother, Keith, and his wife, Rae, one evening,” Watts writes. “[But] while [Hefner’s first wife] Millie ultimately backed out of having sex with Keith, Hugh slept with his sister-in-law.”
The book also claims Hef once tried a gay tryst. “Hefner’s thirst for sexual experience became so strong that he even had a one-time homosexual experience,” Watts writes. “One evening in downtown Chicago he was propositioned and, according to Sellers, he ‘thought, what the hell. Found it an interesting experience. As far as I know, the guy just gave him [oral sex].’ ”
Hefner also once shot a porno starring himself called “After the Masquerade.” Watts writes: “It was shot at a friend’s apartment where Hefner and a female acquaintance had sex while wearing masks.”
Hefner told Page Six he cooperated with Watts and gave him access to his personal papers. “This is the most authoritative book ever written about me . . . It’s all essentially true,” he said. (Source)
The wife-swapping I can believe. Same with the homemade porno. But a homosexual encounter with a stranger? That’s too much. Although it would explain why the guy has overcompensated with thousands of floozies over the years. The 36th Annual AFI Life Achievement Award Ceremony, held at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood, California, was a high-profile event, as always. And Bridget Marquardt, Holly Madison, and Kendra Wilkinson had all they could do to keep up with the aging magazine publisher.

Meet 22 year-old Canadian modeling agency owner and 2008 playmate of the year Jayde Nichole. The January, 2007 Playmate of the Month was named the choice of the year at a luncheon yesterday at the Playboy mansion. Nichole wore a hideous purple and pink short sleeveless dress adorned with roses and blue rhinestones. Her body is incredible, but she needs to remain naked with a fashion sense like this. I hate to knock a woman’s face, but what’s going on there? It looks like she’s had some work done recently and it hasn’t settled yet.
Maybe Holly and the girls convinced Hef to pick the playmate they considered the least competition.
