It wouldn’t be a party without Hugh Hefner and his Girls Next Door. The foursome arrived at the Mann Village Theater in Westwood last night (August 20) for the big LA premiere of “The House Bunny.”
And given that the storyline revolves around a former Playboy Playmate who gets ousted from the Playboy Mansion, Hef and the girls had plenty of material to relate to.
I don't know exactly what is going on here (or who half of these people in the photos below are) at Playboy's annual "A Midsummer's Night Dream" bash at the Palms, but I do know that Hef looks a bit overwhelmed!
He denies it, but from the looks of this photo, do you think the original Playboy is finally ready to retire his pajamas?

For a theatrical epic like “Australia,” every last detail must be perfect, hence Nicole Kidman has been busy filming reshoots for the past couple of weeks.
And earlier today the “Moulin Rouge” hottie was spotted on the FOX Studios lot in Sydney, Australia, along with her costar Hugh Jackman, and director Baz Lurhman as they continued work on the movie.
For all those out there who are devastated over the rumors going around that the Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion is closing for business, I’m here to tell you the good news: it ain’t.
“Absolutely false,” Playboy’s PR director tells E! News of the rumor. “We’re having a huge Halloween party, a New Year’s Eve party…it’s full steam ahead.”
So you know what that means. There is more than enough time to whore yourself into the mansion and live out every jealous guy’s fantasy. You are one bad ass wrinkly guy, Hugh Hefner, you definitely are.

It’s one of the most anticipated epic movies since the Lord of the Rings trilogy. And Hugh Jackman was on the set of “Australia” doing some re-shoots earlier today (August 11).
The “Wolverine” stud took turns with his stunt double in front of the camera while Nicole Kidman’s stunt double also worked on a few re-shoots. Nicole was also rumored to be working on one of the inside sets at FOX Studios.
The average guy only needs to worry about paying for one girl’s meal on a date. But Hugh Hefner isn’t the average guy.
The Playboy founder was spotted with his three girlfriends - Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson - as well as other assorted Playmates on their way to dinner at Ketchup in Los Angeles, California.
They’ve been the talk of Ischia all week, and yesterday Claire Danes and her boyfriend Hugh Dancy were once again spotted soaking in the sun.
The “Romeo & Juliet” babe and her “Jane Austen Book Club” beau were seen on the Bay of Naples Italian island in their bathing suits attracting all kinds of paparazzi (and tourist) attention.

With dudes. And his sister-in-law. Author Steven Watts makes the claims — which Henfer calls “essentially true” — in his upcoming book Mr. Playboy: Hugh Hefner and the American Dream. Excerpts courtesy of the New York Post:
Hef went further, trying a foursome out on his own family. “It did happen with his brother, Keith, and his wife, Rae, one evening,” Watts writes. “[But] while [Hefner’s first wife] Millie ultimately backed out of having sex with Keith, Hugh slept with his sister-in-law.”
The book also claims Hef once tried a gay tryst. “Hefner’s thirst for sexual experience became so strong that he even had a one-time homosexual experience,” Watts writes. “One evening in downtown Chicago he was propositioned and, according to Sellers, he ‘thought, what the hell. Found it an interesting experience. As far as I know, the guy just gave him [oral sex].’ ”
Hefner also once shot a porno starring himself called “After the Masquerade.” Watts writes: “It was shot at a friend’s apartment where Hefner and a female acquaintance had sex while wearing masks.”
Hefner told Page Six he cooperated with Watts and gave him access to his personal papers. “This is the most authoritative book ever written about me . . . It’s all essentially true,” he said. (Source)
The wife-swapping I can believe. Same with the homemade porno. But a homosexual encounter with a stranger? That’s too much. Although it would explain why the guy has overcompensated with thousands of floozies over the years. It’s like he has an obsessive-compulsive disorder, except instead of constantly washing his hands to get rid of imaginary dirt, he bangs bimbos to get rid of imaginary fecal matter.
Most guys are lucky to get one beautiful woman on their arm, but Hugh Hefner has three! And at last night’s AFI Life Achievement Award, the Girls Next Door added some sex appeal to the red carpet.
The 36th Annual AFI Life Achievement Award Ceremony, held at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood, California, was a high-profile event, as always. And Bridget Marquardt, Holly Madison, and Kendra Wilkinson had all they could do to keep up with the aging magazine publisher.

“We gave him chocolate body parts,” Wilkinson said. “We molded our body parts and gave it to him, and he ate them all.
“I molded my ass, so I could call it ‘chocolate starfish,’” she went on. “It was white chocolate, and I put a dark chocolate little thing right in the middle. You’ll see it on the show coming up.”
Isn’t that sweet? These girls are complete morons. What the hell do I want a chocolate replica of your asshole for? You think that’s going to make me feel nice? Here’s an idea ladies, why don’t you actually have sex with Hugh instead of pretending. You know these girls aren’t giving it up to him. It’s just one big facade. Poor Hugh.

Meet 22 year-old Canadian modeling agency owner and 2008 playmate of the year Jayde Nichole. The January, 2007 Playmate of the Month was named the choice of the year at a luncheon yesterday at the Playboy mansion. Nichole wore a hideous purple and pink short sleeveless dress adorned with roses and blue rhinestones. Her body is incredible, but she needs to remain naked with a fashion sense like this. I hate to knock a woman’s face, but what’s going on there? It looks like she’s had some work done recently and it hasn’t settled yet.
Maybe Holly and the girls convinced Hef to pick the playmate they considered the least competition.
Nichol took home $100k in prize money and a 2008 Cadillac CTS. She will appear in a 10 page nude pictorial in the June issue of Playboy, which is out tomorrow. Nichol has the word “respect” tattooed right above her pelvic bone. She is a reported 5′9″ tall and 117 pounds.

Looks like Hugh Jackman is enjoying a rare day off from the 'Wolverine' set, and spending a little time with his son Oscar, who is turning 8 on May 15.
Hugh also has a 2-year-old daughter who must be at home with mom Deborra-Lee Furness.
Hugh dropped Oscar off at school before stopping to grab some coffee, and these photos must show Hugh kissing his boy goodbye.
Enjoy it while you can, Hugh. It won't be too long before Oscar is too embarrassed to go through all of that in front of his schoolmates.
Also, I've never noticed that odd tattoo on the outside of Hugh's oh-so-muscular right arm. I wonder if it has any meaning, or if he just desired a random line on his bulging bicep.

I think this photo of Hugh with child is looking to compete with the recently recreated "Man and Baby" poster re-enacted by English rugby player Ben Cohen and his daughter for pure hot dadness. And as each new batch of "shirtless Hugh" photos come in, I remain pretty sure that I won't ever get sick of seeing pictures of Hugh Jackman frolicking on the beach with his family.
I think the reason it still feels like such a treat is that Hugh actually limits his shirtlessness to water activities, whereas Matthew McConaughey did it so much, I stopped being appreciative and started doubting whether or not he even owned any tops.

I find Hugh Laurie’s character on “House” arrogant and annoying, but my husband loves the guy and I don’t think he would be mortified if I told you that Laurie as Dr. House is his man crush. Laurie always comes off as candid and smart in his interviews, and when I heard him give his Golden Globe acceptance speech in that fancy British accent I realized what all the fuss was about.
Laurie, 48, gave a recent interview to the Radio Times in which he says that he thinks that he doesn’t have a lot of opportunities as an actor in his native England now that he’s experienced such success overseas. He also said that he feels self-conscious about his American accent and doesn’t like to watch his scenes. As his pill-popping character, he admits trying Vicodin to see what it was like, but it doesn’t sound like he’s taking it everyday.

“I don’t watch regularly. I avert my eyes when my children have it on. I hate seeing myself, but it’s even worse hearing my American accent … I had no idea I sound so retarded, a dull monotone, full of clunking mistakes.”

“I wouldn’t recommend it — we have to be careful. But then again … if you’re not in pain it gives a floaty, pleasurable feeling.”
Laurie said that his family will move to the US if “House” continues to be a success, but that he never quite gets the feeling that things are settled in his life:
“I have this vague feeling that the moment I’m comfortable with my place in the world there’ll be retribution. That’s one reason I didn’t want my family to live here. The moment we put down roots the whole thing will be called off.” [Quotes from People.com]
He has previously spoken about the difficulty of being away from his wife and three children for extended periods of time, and has talked about experiencing bouts of depression and anxiety. In October of last year he said in an interview that he couldn’t relax because he was working 14 hour days and couldn’t stop thinking about work enough to sleep. He said that he would constantly worry if he did a scene right or would often think about whether his very successful show would be a failure.
Laurie has been married to Jo Green, who works as a theater administrator, since 1989. They have two sons and a daughter, all in their teens, and in 2005 Laurie said his children didn’t want to stay in Los Angeles when they were there for a month.
“They’ve just been out here for a month… My kids were pretty sniffy about Los Angeles. It’s not quite snobby, they just need to be convinced.
“My eldest son continues to be that way. He’s very English… My daughter’s up for it. She’s now decided Los Angeles is a good thing and my middle son, who’s 14, sort of could go either way.”

Laurie’s family has since moved back to England and while the guy is a huge success over here he’s not able to enjoy it and has said he doesn’t like being apart from his loved ones.
In July, 2006 Hugh Laurie got a raise to what was thought to be $300,000 an episode. In the 2006-2007 season there were 24 episodes, and so far 12 episodes have run for the fourth season from 2007-2008. That means the guy has made $10.8 million working on “House” in the last two years. And if it’s a few less million than that, it’s still a lot of money. That sounds like success to me.

Hugh Jackman and Liev Schrieber are looking pretty relaxed on the set of their film, "Wolverine." The two are in costume and I have to say that if I were Liev, I probably would be taking advantage of every spare opportunity to be doing some crunches. I'm not saying that I think he's out of shape, but if I knew I had to be taking off my shirt in or around the vicinity of one Hugh Jackman, I'd make sure that I had done my darndest to try and keep up with that fitness maniac.
Don't get me wrong, he's still way hot in my book.

Hugh Jackman and his adorable son Oscar went out for a day of shopping in Australia, the hunk's homeland. Hugh looks like he is growing out all that face fur, as he is headed to Queenstown , New Zealand at the end of the month to start filming "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."
Thank God. I need a good nerdy movie to get rid of the bad taste the zombies of "I Am Legend" left in my mouth, and I just don't see Edward Norton as The Incredible Hulk doing it for me. Batman? Maybe if I close my eyes during the Heath Ledger parts. Then again, Heath gives me the creeps even when he isn't in costume anymore.
For now, maybe we should just bask in the beauty that is a scruffy Hugh Jackman.

Holy crap, Panama Jack is ripped, y'all. Hugh Jackman is rocking a beachcomber ensemble this holiday season, completing the look with a shirt made for him by his son for Christmas. The shorts and t-shirt show off Hugh's ridiculous physique, and I have to say the fact that he looks like he might be clothed from head to toe in Christmas presents given to him by his children makes me smile. Whereas, Matthew McConaughey consistently appears to have been dressed by blind children, at least Hugh's got a much cuter reason for it.

Today in impossibly ridiculous news that you’re supposed to believe: Tom Cruise is going to play Hugh Hefner in an upcoming biopic. Umm… trying not to make poorly veiled closeted homosexual jokes here… restraint is not my strongest suit…. crap. Okay how about this: many gay actors have shown us that it’s possible to play straight, and vice-versa. See how I didn’t say anything about your client probably being gay there, Tom Cruise’s lawyers? Not that there’s anything wrong with that. I think that even if there had never been a single gay rumor about Tom Cruise, I still couldn’t buy him as Hugh Hefner. They’re just so… opposite. I mean both odd, but in very different ways. And something about Tom makes me think he’d be judgy and preachy about Playboy. If he’d ever opened one to know.
Tom Cruise is set to play Hugh Hefner in a new biopic of the Playboy founder’s life. The 45-year-old actor, who has an 18-month-old daughter Suri with his actress wife Katie Holmes, is hot favorite to portray the 81-year-old lothario in upcoming movie ‘Playboy’ and is reportedly excited about the prospect of bringing Hefner’s “colorful life” to the big screen.
A source close to the actor said: “Tom knows of Hugh’s colorful past and thinks he would be the perfect person to bring it to the big screen. He also thinks the role would be a challenge for him, and would remind people of his versatility as an actor. At the moment people are concentrating on his personal life, and his marriage to Katie - but he wants to remind them that he can act too.”

I think people are well-aware that Tom Cruise can act. He’s been acting like he’s in a marriage for a little over a year now. Kidding, of course. Tom’s an okay actor, and I people remember that about him. It’s just that he shines in a very specific kind of role… and Hugh Hefner just isn’t that type of character. Tom needs to jump on top of moving trains and fall out windows and things like that. Occasionally romance Renee Zellweger in a way the audience only sorta buys. He is not the kind of guy you want to see chasing fake bunny tail. Fake alien tail, fine. But rabbits are out of the question.

Hugh Grant and ex-girlfriend and now married Elizabeth Hurley are going to great lengths not to be seen and photographed together.
The pair were spotted in arrivals at JFK airport in New York - but took great pains to avoid being seen together. Hugh left JFK airport using a different exit then Liz, and arrived at the same hotel in the early evening about 2 minutes apart. An hour later, Hugh emerged from the hotel, having changed into a black suit, and walked a few blocks down the road. Just minutes afterwards a car arrived to pick Liz up and she hopped into the vehicle. In a bizarre scene, the car then drove two blocks, picked up Hugh on the street corner and headed to a dinner party hosted by Valentino. Two blocks from the party, you guessed it, Hugh got out so they wouldn’t be seen arriving together.
The pair had lunch together the next day and used the same tactics to arrive and leave separately. The funny thing is it’s well known the former couple are great friends. In October, Hugh joined Elizabeth, new husband Arun Nayar and five-year-old son Damian on a family holiday in the Maldives. I think they are just trying to avoid stirring things up by being seen together but of course in the process it creates a lot of curiousity.

Yay! Hugh Jackman is the new Matthew McConaughey. In other words, he's our shirtless guy of the moment. I love that he looks like he's doing some beach dancing here, enjoying the sun, sand and his wacky facial hair. I know that in one of these pictures, it's probably just the salt water running into one of his eye, but let's all imagine that he's giving us a special flirty wink, shall we? Sure he has millions of dollars, worldwide fame, multiple homes, a fleet of luxury cars, a warm heart, an engaging personality, a charming accent, and enough strength to overthrow a small country. . . I’m thinking Burundi . . . but has he ever taken down a Gold Half Dragon using an Illusionist with only 100 experience points? Didn’t think so. Loser
At 42 years young, Elizabeth Hurley was spotted showing off her still-fabulous bikini body while vacationing off the coast of East Africa.
The Bedazzled babe sported her skimpy orange swimwear while on a trip to Seychelles island with her 5-year-old son Damian and her new husband, Arun Nayar.
That was fast. Hugh Jackman was executive producing and occasionally acting in a show for CBS called "Viva Laughlin". It took place in a casino and people sang. Not anymore, it's over. I can't imagine why. It starred Melanie Griffith and several other nobodies and how is Melanie going to find money to repair that plastic surgery if she can't find work?
Maybe you never knew what happened to Hugh Jackman's CBS project, "Viva Laughlin," or maybe you never even heard of such a show. Well, if you were one of the few viewers the show had, you may or may not know by now that it was canceled last week after CBS aired only two episodes. Am I surprised? No, because a musical television series set in a casino doesn't have a market in the land of contemporary television, even if Hugh Jackman is a driving foce behind it. Some could see this ship headed for disaster no matter who was at the wheel.Though Jackman had a guest starring role on the show, even if Jackman had appeared naked, it probably wouldn't have saved it. Even in Jackman's homeland down under, the Sydney-Morning Herald reported that the show was dumped after just one episode aired in Australia. This goes to show that it's not just Americans who aren't in the mood for such a different type of show featuring characters breaking into song, but an audience on the other side of the world with different senses of whimsical and unconventional entertainment apply still rejected this "Moulin Rouge" style show set to the kind of backdrop behind NBC's "Las Vegas."

Hugh Hefner’s girlfriend, Holly Madison, just got a promotion at Playboy and is now the magazine’s junior photo editor which is totally not a job Hugh made up to keep her busy. She told the New York Post:
“I think readers are sick of seeing the same cookie-cutter blondes. I’m looking for natural bodies. I pay attention to what readers write in - and they do like to see diversity.” (Source)
