Russell was looking well when we saw him a few nights ago, leaving Britney Spear’s Birthday Party at Tenjune in New York City, New York. Russell was escorted by three police offers who took him to his car parked a block away from the party.
The BBC News is reporting that Mickey Rourke’s comeback performance in the film The Wrestler has earned him the spot in a short list of names for Best Actor at Hollywood’s leading awards for independent film. The sports drama, which won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival, is also up for best feature at the Spirit Awards, to be held on 21 February. We caught up with Mickey as he left the 18th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York City. We wish you luck Mickey!
So she may not have won, but Kim Kardashian wasn’t letting that get in the way of a good party. Kim was looking lovely with her new set of bangs and all in black when she partied in celebration for the season’s end of Dancing with the Stars yesterday in New York City, New York. Kim also wore a gorgeous pair of Louboutins - very pretty. We love you, Kim, even if you didn’t win the whole show.
Natalie Portman was all business when she attended the after party for the Cinema Society’s screening of Milk in New York City, New York this week. She kept her head down as she exited the venue. The very politically-conscious actress probably enjoyed the film, which was about California’s first openly-gay politician.
Everyone is saying that Mickey Rourke is finally making a comeback, though we’re not so sure. We’ll reserve judgment until we see The Wrestler, Mickey’s latest film that has been earning him some Oscar buzz around town. Of course, Mickey committed a bit of a gaffe earlier this month by allegedly using an anti-gay slur toward a reporter. He apologized though, and certainly seemed to harbor no ill will when he attended the after party for the Cinema Society’s screening of Milk in New York City last week.
The lovely Leighton Meester manages to make the most austere outfits look fresh and youthful, doesn’t she? Leighton rocked this wool suit when she filmed scenes for Gossip Girl at the Palace Hotel yesterday in New York City, New York. We especially love that Dior purse that she is carrying.
Wild Child Taylor Momsen attended the after party for the Cinema Society’s screening of Milk a few days ago in New York City, New York. The 15 year old Gossip Girl actress, joined cast mate Chase Crawford inside the party. Although she is underage the actress was granted access to the party which was held in a bar/club serving liquor. Taylor was one of the last to leave the party around 2:30 in the morning. While we applaud Taylor’s choice in film, we’re not sure that she should be out partying in bars that late.
Our favorite Hills Hottie Stephanie Pratt attended the USA Swimming Foundation Golden Goggle Awards in New York City, New York last night. The event was a fantastic success and we’re proud to be part of it! Jen and Lisa who did the PR for the event have quite a talent as every Celeb there seemed to be having the time of their life! Take the lovely Stephanie Pratt! She left the gifting suite with loads of fantastic swag and a huge smile! Rarely do events run as smooth as this and it’s no wonder the stars enjoyed themselves; we did too!
Swimming star and generally regarded hottie Michael Phelps kept his shirt on last night so as not to drive the ladies in attendance wild when he attended the USA Swimming Foundation Golden Goggle Awards yesterday in New York City, New York. The Event was fabulous! Everyone wanted a piece of Michael at the event, but he managed to take it all in stride and look happy while doing so.
Justin Timberlake made time in his busy schedule last night to attend the Saturday Night Live after party at Dos Caminos in New York City. Justin had a walk on during the show, which was hosted by yummy comedian Paul Rudd. An insider reported that the singer was acting like a jerk by refusing to acknowledge anyone but Paul. Apparently Justin even ignored Jennifer Aniston, who sat next to him and repeatedly tried to start conversation.
Super perky hostess Kelly Ripa was looking very chic in the NYC uniform of black with white highlights last night when we saw her. She left arm in arm with a friend in the rain, sans her hubby! The two enjoyed a meal at the popular club and restaurant La Esquina with a group of friends. Next time, remember an umbrella or at least a coat, Kelly. We can’t have you feeling anything less than peppy on your show!

Mary was having dinner at the Waverly Inn and looking utterly lovely in a pair of snakeskin boots and a demure color palette that really flattered her.

The happy couple left the kid at home before heading to Broadway, where the couple hosted an event in New York City, New York. We thinkt hat SJP is looking rather stunning, but then again she always does. We do love that Matthew is always rockin’ the perfectly fit suits, and this blue/black combo is a tiny bit daring, executed with perfection.

Mark Wahlberg was all business when we caught up with him leaving his hotel to go out to dinner last night in New York City, New York. When asked by a fan about the Saturday Night Live spoof of him he refused to comment. We don’t blame him. Some quotes of his regarding the skit were recently taken out of context, to make it sound like he was mad about the sketch…he wasn’t, ya’ll. We read the interview and don’t worry, Mark still has a sense of humor.
Rachel Roy was looking lovely as usual when she attends a screening of Madonna’s documentary Filth and Wisdom last night in New York City, New York. Rachel is a fashion designer who met her husband, Damon Dash, while interning at Rocawear. Well, that’s quite the Cinderella story, isn’t it? Rachel and Damon have been having financial troubles as of late, with several of their homes under foreclosure. But judging from that smile on Rachel’s face, it looks all worked out to us.
Legendary Southern Chef Paula Deen was looking radiant last night when we saw her departing her hotel to eat dinner at Wolfgang Puck’s eatery in New York City, New York. The star was warned by a fan not to take stock advice from Martha Stewart, especially in these trying times. Paula responded with a laugh and assured everyone that she would never take stock advice from Martha. Good girl, Paula. She was joined by her husband Michael, and we were very happy to see one of our favorite Food Network chefs out on the town. Paula was also excellent in her first acting job in Cameron Crowe’s Elizabethtown.
Lindsay Lohan and her GF Samantha Ronson were in high spirits yesterday when they attended Madonna’s concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. The two girls were smiling as they departed the arena, walking by one another but not totally together. We love that Lilo’s hair is a bit messy here - no one should look perfectly coiffed after a Madonna concert! That means that Lilo was probably getting her moves on. Good on ya, girl!

This is a stunning picture, and we are so happy that Lindsay has continued her journey back to good health and happiness. Lilo made a surprise appearance at the Diesel XXX party held in Brooklyn last night in New York City, New York. Missing was Lilo’s lady Sam, but perhaps she had to work. She gets props for picking a rather youthful piece of couture, but we do worry that Taylor has taken a lesson from Christina Aguilera when it coems to make up application. Now here’s a somewhat rare appearance! Lauren Conrad left her native SoCal to make a visit to the East Coast! Lauren was downright giggly when we spied her leaving a Mexican restaurant in Soho after enjoying a nice meal a few days ago in New York City, New York. As she was leaving a paparazzo gave her flowers with a message that read “We love you Lauren, screw Heidi, come to New York more often.”

Michelle and her boyfriend held hands and smiled at each other as they walked to their car. Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe has a new show on Bravo called The Rachel Zoe Project. We wonder what it’s going to be about? How to style six pieces of lettuce for your daily caloric intake? Honestly, we’re wondering if Rachel is even styling anyone these days. As far as we knew, she was practically blacklisted in H-town for her crimes against fashion. You can’t be a celebrity stylist if no celebrities are hiring you. Maybe thats why Rachel was hanging out at the Waverly Inn last night with her hubby, Roger Berman. It’s best to just take it easy, we think. Take note, ladies, that that dress would look terrible on anyone who wasn’t a size zero. And we’ve also got to say - Zoe looks like she’s her husband’s mother and not his wife. A little bit of fat fills in the wrinkles, and Zoe’s looking like the little raisin face that everyone always calls her.
How often is it when you can get a private sitting with the queen diva herself, Mariah Carey in the greatest city in the world? Actually, it was not a private sitting, we are embellishing a bit there, but the photos are still sensational.
It was actually a paparazzi session that our young paparazzo, Justin Campbell, did yesterday over at TRL Studios in Times Square. So how did Justin pull this one off? Easy.. charm and talent. At the end of the day that Parsons student always ends up with an iconic photo. We are waiting for that call from MOMA!

We’re very pleased this morning to feature a new set from our photographer Justin Campbell! We’ve missed his fotos, and we’re glad he’s back. Justin caught up with Lindsay Lohan on the set of Ugly Betty. The show was filming in Queens at a fictional restaurant called ‘Flushing Burgers’, and Lindsay was wearing the uniform! Looks like Lilo’s character on UB might not have gone so far in life. After a hard day of filming, Lindsay dined at the Waverly Inn and was wearing a printed Christian Dior t-shirt.

We know that you have missed the fotos and escapades of our talented New York paparazzo Justin Campbell. He has been off painting at his summer villa. He was in the city today to search for apartments for his return this fall at Parsons.
Justin will be back the the West Village and covering all of the hot spots for Buzz Foto. We are so proud of Justin and his brilliant work. If only Andy ( Warhol ) was still around. He would have gifted Justin a gold key to The Factory!
