Susan Sarandon and Kevin Costner really heated up the screen as a veteran minor leaguer and his oversexed lover in the 1988 baseball classic Bull Durham. Tim Robbins also starred as a doofball pitcher that was sleeping with Sarandon and getting unwanted coaching from Costner’s character. Bull Durham went on to become a box office hit and a classic. Sports Illustrated even ranked it the number one Greatest Sports Movie of all time. The NY Post reports that there may be a sequel in the works twenty years later and that Kevin Costner had a meeting with the director to talk about it. Real-life couple Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon, who met on the set of the film and have two sons together, are also said to be interested:

A spy tells us Kevin Costner recently met with director Ron Shelton at Trader Vic’s in LA to discuss reprising the role of carousing catcher Crash Davis from the 1988 baseball flick. Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon are also expected to return as pitcher Nuke LaLoosh and baseball groupie Annie Savoy, who are now married and owners of a Major League team that Costner manages. Kristen Kerr, recently seen on “Dexter,” is being eyed as one of Crash’s love interests, our insider said.

I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand a sequel with the original characters could be funny and well-made, but there’s also the potential to ruin an amazing film with a crappy follow-up. There’s money to be made with it, though, and a new Bull Durham is likely to attract the older people who saw it in the first place along with baseball lovers from the younger generation. You can see how they would be interested in making a sequel, but in these uncertain financial times there’s a lot less investment capital in Hollywood and we’ll have to wait and see if this ever gets to first base.

Can you believe Kyra Sedgewick and Kevin Bacon just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary?
Kyra may have lost out on the Best Actress Emmy, but with hubby Kevin Bacon by her side all these years, she's certainly a winner in other ways!
But what about her dress, with beading that looks like two hands cupping her boobs? Is that a winner or a loser?
She's beautiful, but I think she coulda done better with the dress.

K-Fed at the grand opening of Lavo nightclub in Las Vegas (9/13)
Don’t let that “Father of the Year” award he received back in June fool you. Kevin Federline couldn’t care less about his kids, the short one and the dark haired one (his description, not mine). Federline missed his sons’ birthday party over the weekend in L.A. because he was too busy partying in Las Vegas. A source told MSNBC:
“On Friday night he went to the Lavo [nightclub] preview party, even danced to Britney’s ‘Gimme More’ and had so much fun that night he decided to stay for Saturday’s grand opening. Saturday he spent the day by the pool, then had dinner at TAO and hit the Lavo grand opening, red carpet and all, where he partied ’til 4am.”
Another source added:
“He’s apt to kind of just do what he wants. He loves the boys (Preston, 3 and Jayden, 2) but if he’s having fun someplace else, he’ll stick with that.” (Source)
Aren’t K-Fed’s kids better off when he ISN’T around? If those two are lucky, K-Fed will spend the next twenty years partying at clubs, and they’ll be able to grow up in a semi-normal household raised by nannies, housekeepers, and balloon clowns. For his children’s sake, if K-Fed really wants to ensure that they have a bright future, he’ll be what they need him most to be: an absentee father.

After several attempts to get a poster approved by the MPAA for Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Kevin Smith finally got the above one approved. I think in ways it was good for him to have so much trouble with the posters because it got him a lot of free publicity for a movie that looks freaking hysterical.
Here is the poster that was approved in Canada, but not here in The States. I don’t get what the MPAA was so uptight about with this poster?

It takes a brave man to admit to watching tons of porn these days. Wait, no. It takes an average, normal man to admit to watching tons of porn these days. And that’s pretty much the reputation upon which Seth Rogen has built his career: the average guy who’s funnier than most. Rogen is starring in Kevin Smith’s upcoming film “Zack and Miri Make a Porno.” It’s about two best friends who decide to make a porn film in order to pay down their debts. Rogen says he was into the film from the moment he got an email from Kevin Smith; not just because of the chance to work with his icon, but because… what guy doesn’t love a film about porn?
Smith wrote the script with Rogen in mind, having seen the actor in the acclaimed short-lived TV series “Freaks and Geeks” and later in “The 40-Year-Old Virgin.” By the time Smith finished the script in spring 2007, Rogen was the cusp of leading-man stardom with “Knocked Up.”
“I started seeing billboards going up with his face on them and I was like, we lost this guy,” Smith said. “This dude was like a supporting actor in `40-Year-Old Virgin’ and he’s just waiting for somebody to give him his own movie.” But Smith said that when he sent an e-mail to Rogen asking if he would read the screenplay, the actor shot back an answer within 2 minutes. Rogen read “Zack and Miri” on the beach in Australia while doing press for “Knocked Up” and was eager to sign on from the start.
The comedic sex depicted in “Zack and Miri” is tame by hardcore pornography standards, and the subject matter never gave Rogen a moment’s pause. “I love porn. I watch tons of porn. The Internet speeds have evolved directly with my sexual drive,” Rogen said. “I almost did it purely based on the title.”

Something tells me that if Rogen is anything like most guys his age, he’s been researching this movie role religiously for at least the last ten years. Kevin Smith does movies that you either love or hate; there doesn’t really seem to be much middle ground. But this film seems like it could cross over into a larger audience, if for no other reason than the title alone. I’m pretty sure 99% of the guys that go to see it are going to end up pretty disappointed by the relatively tame sex scenes. Well, tame compared to all the aforementioned porn.

Kevin Smith’s latest movie Zach and Miri Make a Porno is barely making it to the screen with an R rating because of the MPAA, and the poster above is definitely not making it because the MPAA didn’t approve. Here’s my theory on that, if the MPAA were getting what Seth Rogen was getting maybe they wouldn’t have a problem with the poster!!!
On another note, how funny does that movie look? Maybe I am biased, but I love Kevin Smith’s humor and they way he uses it in his movies!

Michael Lohan to box Kevin Federline?
Lindsay Lohan’s dad Michael has challenged Kevin Federline to a charity boxing match . . . WINNER TAKE ALL not much! Michael told OK! magazine:
“Everyone wants me to fight K-fed because he’s a notorious celebrity dad and so am I. It’s for charity. It’s serious
boxing. You have to go get a trainer. I have to register with the Mature Boxing Association.”
It should be noted that K-Fed wasn’t Michael’s first choice for a sparring partner: “I called Richard Johnson [editor of the NY Post’s Page 6 gossip column] and challenged him, but he didn’t accept. I don’t care who it is; it’s for charity. I’ve been beaten up by the press, so I don’t care if I get a few shots by a kid half my age.” (Source)
If I really wanted see some wannabe white rapper take on an over-the-hill nobody, I’d go to an Eminem concert and watch him bitch about his mother. The best way to make sure blows are landed in this fight: dress K-Fed up as Dina, and dress Michael Lohan up as Britney’s stomach.

Hollywood stars always know how to throw an amazing party - and Shar Jackson is no exception. Jackson had an extensive guest list for her 32nd birthday party held at Blush Nightclub, in Las Vegas over the weekend.
Among those in attendance, Jackson’s ex Kevin Federline was there to help her celebrate her special day, with K-Fed even taking the time to publicly wish Jackson a happy birthday as he took over the mic.

Then again, we're not complaining too much - anything that gets Britney more

The third and final Jonas brother to make an appearance on-set, Kevin Jonas teamed up with Taylor Swift as they filmed segments for the new Jonas Brothers video to accompany their album A Little Bit Longer’s second single.
Situated in Columbus Circle, the teen hunk and country sweetheart ran through scenes - with Kevin serving up hot dogs from a stand to Miss Swift.

He’s not the typical guy you’d expect to encounter while playing a round of golf, but Kevin Federline looked natural enough at Ryan Sheckler’s X Games Celebrity Skins Classic held yesterday (July 29).
Maxin’ and relaxin’ at the Trump National golf course just outside of Los Angeles, California, K-Fed looked cool and casual in a baggy blue t-shirt with a pair of oversized khaki shorts and sneakers.

It’s official! Britney Spears and Kevin Federline’s custody settlement was reportedly signed on Friday by the judge on the case, which brings an end to what’s been a nearly two-year custody battle.
As previously reported by Gossip Girls, K-Fed kept sole custody of their two sons in the deal - agreeing to allow Britney two visits and one overnight per week with the chance of an additional overnight as long as there aren’t any setbacks before year’s end.

In a somewhat surprising turn of events, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have finally come to a settlement in their long-running custody battle.
According to K-Fed’s lawman Mark Vincent Kaplan, the current arrangement will involve K-Fed taking over the parenting reins, with the “Gimme More” singer having visitation rights.

It’s been a runaway hit since the first episode of the first season, and the guys from Entourage were spotted hard at work on some Season 5 action yesterday.
Adrian Grenier , Kevin Dillon, Kevin Connolly, and Jerry Ferrara looked intense as they made their way around the show’s Santa Monica, California set wearing flowery leis… perhaps they’re heading off to Hawaii!

Kevin Federline had a fun-filled weekend in Miami. The rapper hosted a party at Mansion until 4 a.m. on Saturday morning — but he wasn’t partying, no no no, he was being a good parent. A source told People:
“Kevin was in a great mood and even talked about a new song he is working on, called ‘Daddy’s Home.’ He has put a lot of time and effort into writing and rehearsing it, but says it is not quite ready yet.”
At Mansion, Federline, dressed in an over-sized, blue, long-sleeved, oxford shirt and jeans, spent much of the night chatting with the club’s host Lyndon Smith, another single dad. “We talked about our kids and parenting and what that’s all about,” Smith says. (Source)
Right. I’m sure K-Fed and the club’s host sat around for hours and discussed “kids and parenting” the entire night. Why not make something up that’s actually believable? Like he could have said the two of them talked about string theory, the current economic instability in the U.S housing market, or exit strategies for the War in Iraq. Of course a more likely scenario is that K-Fed snorted coke off of strippers’ tits, threw hundreds around like toilet paper, signed his bar tab “Britney Spears,” and then took two curious 18-year-olds back to his hotel room to play naked Twister. So a lot like my last Tuesday.

The founder of Digg.com talks about sitting down with the heads of News Corp. and IAC in an interview on Big Think. "When I sat down with [Murdoch] it was a hand-holding process," says Kevin Rose, whose site is reportedly now being courted by Google. "When I sat down with Barry Diller, he was telling me about my business...it blew my mind." Rose is also amazed by Al Gore.
While several companies have made offers for Digg, Rose has refused to sell the site, which has already profited from an ad deal with Microsoft. Since Rose is practically the mascot of his own site, he'll want an owner who knows what they're buying, which probably rules out Old Man Murdoch for good. But he'll also want the site to grow, which IAC can't promise. So what will Rose think after meeting with Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page?

A few BuzzFoto readers complained yesterday that our Entourage fotos were slanted a bit too much in the direction of Piven. Sorry about that, we just love the jackass. We should never be surprised at the love that Kevin Connolly inspires in his fans, but sometimes we need to be reminded a bit. So, here’s our sorry. Last night Kevin had dinner with Emmanuelle Chriqui at Madeos restaurant in West Hollywood, California. He carried some cigarettes in his hand, and looked to be in quite a hurry. We’d hurry too in Emmanuelle was waiting for us. Hopefully he brushed before any goodnight kisses - no one likes smoker’s mouth!

Kevin Federline has been announced as the “Father of the Year” thanks to a Las Vegas Club.
Federline nabbed a Father of the Year Award at club Prive, while Spears chilled with her dad Jamie and an assistant at the Cinevegas party at Palms Place.
“I’m surprised,” Federline said when asked how it felt to win the title.
Federline, 30, hit up the club with a group of male pals — including divorce attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan — just before 1 a.m. Saturday morning.
Prive presented Federline his Father of the Year trophy “someplace quiet” at the dad-of-four’s request, so clubgoers didn’t see the ceremony, according to a source.
How is a Father of the Year award given to you from a club worth anything? Clubs are where faters go to get away and stare at young hot women. I’m pretty sure the old creepy guy at the club is a father. In fact, maybe that’s how Kevin Federline won. He was consistently the creepy old guy at the club. If that’s the case then he deserves it. t’s tough to be THAT much of a scumbag week after week.

We thought we’d heard everything when Dina Lohan received her Top Mom award last month. But we were wrong, as now Kevin Federline is the Father of the Year!
That’s right, K-Fed’s paternal duties in light of his ex-wife Britney Spears’ personal turmoil has earned him the right to be called the Father of the Year.

Actor Kevin Spacey was named Professor of Contemporary Theater at Oxford’s St. Catherine’s College. Two-time Oscar winner has been named Cameron Mackintosh Visiting Professor of Contemporary Theater at Oxford’s St. Catherine’s College, officials there announced Friday.
Spacey will succeed Shakespearean actor and “Star Trek: The Next Generation” star Patrick Stewart when the new academic year starts in October. Previous holders of the post, include composer Stephen Sondheim, playwright Alan Ayckbourn and actress Diana Rigg.

Just a few hours ago, our photographers caught Kevin Federline arriving at the airport in Miami to host a party at Mansion (tonight) and a dinner at Hotel Gansevoort (tomorrow). Looks like K-Fed packed light - he only brought his headphones, his iPod, and his suit. Hopefully he remembered to pack his luck, too - on top of all his other obligations, he's got a big celebrity golf tourney tomorrow!
