Britney Spears granted ‘restricted’ visitation rights to see her kids

Lawyers for Kevin Federline and Britney Spears have hammered out a structured visitation arrangement, that will allow the mentally ill mother to visit her children “soon. very soon. Kevin Federline’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan confirmed Friday that he and his partner Jim Simon spent two days working with Spears’s legal team. The specific details of the agreement, were not disclosed, but Jayden, 1, and Preston, 2, will once again enjoy “participation of their mother in their lives.”

“We’re pleased that … the process of reinstating the children’s mother as a participant in their lives can commence,” said Kaplan.

I am just speculating but no doubt though that the visitation is contingent on Britney’s continued psychiatric treatment and a therapeutic setting with her psychiatrist present during the visits. There won’t be any driving around with the kids this time!

Britney has not seen her boys since her Jan. 3 custody stand-off with police, leading to her first forced hospitalization in a psych ward.

Kevin Federline still has hopes that Britney Spears’ can be a mother to their children. Spears completely lost her visitation rights to her two young sons at least until a new hearing in February, after failing to show up at her latest custody hearing.
The singer arrived at Los Angeles Superior Court for a crucial custody hearing four hours late and then reportedly refused to enter the courthouse.
While pop-wreck Brit was not legally obliged to attend the hearing the new ruling means she will not see her kids for a minimum of one month and it gave further evidence to her failing mental status, unable to manage her demons long enough to fight for her children.
And Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan says his client is saddened his boys won’t be able to see their mother and hopes the situation will one day be resolved.

He told celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, “The word victory is not something that Mister Federline nor his counsel would ascribe to the result of the court ruling today.
“There is no joyous feeling in this, this is a grave situation for everyone. At some point, it is Mister Federline’s hope to parent the minor children with participation from the mother.”

I really hope and think those are sincere sentiments. Those boys need their mother when and if Brit is able to get her life back together.

People reports Paris Hilton and Kevin Federline hung out together in Paris’ room after partying at LAX on Saturday. However, they seemed less friendly with each other while partying at Pure on Sunday sharing only a shot of tequila.

Page Six, on the other hand, reports Kevin Federline “dissed” Paris at the New Year’s Eve party at Pure.

“Paris whispered some pretty sweet and enticing words in Kevin’s ear,” a Federline family insider told PageSix.com. “She basically asked him where he was staying and if he wanted to visit her in her own suite.” According to the source, Kevin passed, but he said, “It will not be so easy to deny her next time.”

Kevin’s right. A chance to sleep with Paris Hilton is pretty hard to pass up. Same with self-castration, sticking a baseball bat in your anus, having your balls stomped with cleats and sticking a serrated knife in your ear. I don’t know how he resisted the first time. He must have the willpower of a thousand Buddhist monks.

Britney Spears is still so hung up on her parents that she wouldn’t let her two kids open their Christmas presents and hid them instead. Britney even contemplated sending them back still wrapped. K-Fed, the sensible one, told Britney to stop acting like a spoiled brat.

“He asked her to give them to him and he would let them open them.” Upset with the aspiring rapper-actor, Britney then “bragged a lot about what she bought them just to piss him off, but Kevin expected her to do that,” said the source. Luckily, “Santa” was good to the angelic children with troubled lives. Added the insider, “The kids got lots of toys, including some LeapFrog learning goodies and miniature cars.”

Opening up presents in the Spears household would be quite an experience. Tearing through wrapping paper smeared with peanut butter only to find out mommy wrapped a half-eaten bucket of KFC instead of a Robodog because she was drunk out of her mind sounds pretty fun. For me I mean. For the boys, I expect them to be wide-eyed with anticipation when they see the present, followed by a look of bewilderment when they open it up and finally, a shrug of indifference as if to say, “Meh. We figured as much,” when they discover she mixed cigarette butts in with the chicken bones. Ah, Christmas. It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Again, for me I mean.

Britney Spears (or more likely her advisors) is trying to turn the tables on her custody fight, by hiring a private investigation company to dig up dirt on Kevin Federline. Britney of course has some inside knowledge on K-Fed’s behind the scenes behavior and hopes to prove she’s not the only on who screws up. Is this in anyway going to benefit her children is highly questionable unless of course K-Fed is messing up worse then we know. I really hope Britney and her advisors maintain focus on getting her life back in order. That will be the best thing she can do for her kids!

Shar Jackson, 31, best known professionally for her portrayal of Niecy on the 1996-2001 UPN show Moesha, mother of– Kori, 5, and Kaleb, 3 – with former lover Kevin Federline, 29, and says that she watches Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, who are Federline’s kids with Spears, 25.

While Federline is embroiled in an ongoing custody battle with ex-wife Britney Spears, Shar and Kevin are trying to see that all four of his offspring get along.

“We definitely make sure the kids all bond together,” Jackson told reporters Tuesday night. “I mean, they’re siblings, they need each other.”

Jackson also stresses that she and Federline strive to keep their family closely knit, despite whatever differences she and Kevin might have.

“Honestly,” says Jackson, “we’re like the best of friends. Obviously, the relationship didn’t work out for a reason, and we’re cool with that. But we’re still a part of each other’s lives. And our children get to see two people who aren’t together but still have a great relationship, and I think that’s really important.”

Jackson, who in the past has repeatedly praised Federline’s parenting skills, says she exclusively trusts him with her kids. “I know he’s in a good place,” she says, “the kids are in a good place, and I made sure from day one – I told him, ‘You make sure you have our children.’ ”

Asked how Kevin is holding up in the fight with Britney over their kids? “He’s great,” says Jackson. “We don’t even talk about that stuff, because that would be a non-stop conversation, and we don’t even go there.”
