  According to the National Enquirer (via MSNBC) Jamie Lynn wants to run away from her mother and move to Los Angeles to live with Daddy. Lynne Spears is supposedly doling out some tough love and not letting poor little Jamie Lynn smoke, drink and party the way she wants to.  Jamie Lynn saw Britney do it with no ill effects to her sons and figures her baby will be fine too, according to the source.

  “She wants to be settled in before the baby is born in March or early April — and she wants to be closer to film projects she’d like to start after giving birth.”

  Jamie Lynn’s big plan is to go to Los Angeles and become a working mom. And how are you going to stop her, after all she’s all grown up at 16? It’s tough to keep these partying Spears’ sisters locked away for very long.  Britney herself has probably started digging a tunnel to get out of the psych ward.

  I was kind of hoping to give Britney a rest for the day, but couldn’t resist this story. The Los Angeles Police Department were reportedly called to Britney’s house on Friday after her parents discovered several apparently valuable items missing.

  After Jamie Spears was granted conservatorship of his daughter at an emergency hearing Friday, he and ex-wife Lynne returned to the house, probably to change the locks on her house, but were “shocked” to find valuable items ”had been stolen.”

  They called the cops and filed a report.

  Spears’ folks believe that items were taken after their daughter was taken to the UCLA Medical Center early Thursday morning.

  Hmm, who do you think would have had access to Brit’s house that might want to remove a few things, while they can???

  Make me want to sing that old Men at Work song: Who could it  be now????

  Well we don’t know the culprit is yet but Los Angeles’ finest are on it.

  On other perhaps related news Britneys’ manager Sam (I am) Lutfi, is supposedly vowing to contest the conservatorship and put up a fight in court, on his clients behalf of course.  A 21-day civil harassment restraining order was granted against Sam, who has in return been accusing Jamie and Lynne of poor parenting.  Restraining order and poor parenting, could they both be right?

  The power struggle for control of Britney Spears

  Sam Lutfi reportedly called the Sultan of gossip:  Harvey Levin who built TMZ, with Britney by his side,  to complain  about a story they previously posted. The story basically said Lynne and Jamie Spears believe Sam Lutfi is poison.  Lutfi railed to Levin, that there was no intervention last night, but then said Britney’s family “barged in.” TMZ claims an intervention is planned and that Lutfi has been kept in the dark since he is not trusted.

  Lutfi continued on with:

  “They have an agenda. Their agenda is jealously because they don’t fit in. I do. They see her three times a year.” 

  Britney was by the phone during Lutfi’s conversation with Levin. Lutfi claimed he did not force Britney to buy a car, asking Brit, “Did I force you to buy a car.” In a heavy southern accent she responded, “No.” He continued, “Do I ever bug you.” She replied, “We argue.” Lutfi also offered that Britney’s mom is fine with him, it’s her dad who’s a problem.

  TMZ says family sources told them that’s b.s., both Lynne and Jamie “are on the same page,” feeling that Sam is a “megalomaniac” who is motivated by “evil.” 

  This is all about ‘control’.  Britney is totally out of control, running from mommy and daddy and wanting to give control to a strong male figure like Sam or Adnan.  Meanwhile Lufti is desperately trying to push Adnan and the Spears parents away  to keep control.  Whatever you want to say about Lynne and Jamie Spears as parents and believe me I am no fan; but I do believe they mostly have Britney’s best intentions in mind right now.  So I hope they win this power struggle for now.

  An account of the Britney Spears blowout last night

  Britney had another dramatic night.  You may already read a version or two of this, but having read multiple accounts of this, here is what I think did and may have happened.

  Britney and Sam are in a car together arriving at the gate’s of her community and she gets out the car crying early last night.

  Conjecture - Britney was reduced to tears after an argument with Sam. Britney exits Sam’s car, just outside the gates to her Summit Circle home, and sat on the side of the road sobbing in front of hoards of photographers (see photo).

  Sam did  get angry with photographers who were taking pictures and told them to get away.

  Conjecture - the fight was fueled by Sam’s insistence she speak to her mother, Lynne, Sam wanting her to see a psychologist, as well as Sam’s refusal to let Britney see her paparazzi boyfriend, Adnan Ghalid.

  Britney’s paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib got a frantic call from a hysterical Brit at that moment, pleading with him, “Baby, can you come pick me up??”

  Not long after, the pap who partied at Britney’s house a week ago, Filipe, picked up Brit and drove her to her house;

  Adnan arrives, however, is told in no uncertain terms that he was not allowed to enter the gate.

  Conjecture - The guards are under strict orders from Sam Lufti not to let him in. He’s tried calling each of her six cell phones (one for each personality) and the house phone, but she’s not answering because Sam has turned the phones off.

  The LAPD were called to the scene because a person trying to get access to the grounds without permission. Or they were called to contain the paparazzi crush that was trying to shoot the fight, not for one specific person.

  Conjecture - A couple hours later Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, arrived at the Summit home. After sitting outside the gates for a few minutes, he finally went inside. Britney’s mother, Lynne, arrived soon after.

  Conjecture - At around 9.30pm Britney left her home. She was later seen driving around Los Angeles with Adnan by her side. Shortly after 11pm, Britney and Adnan returned to her home.

  It all sounds pretty messed up very much like a too rich child having a tantrum when she can’t get her way.  With the family gathering is an intervention on the horizon?

  For anyone who didn’t already know, Lynne Spears thinks of her two kids as cash cows and uses every opportunity she has to cash in on their fame. Even if it means forcing them into the spotlight and selling their stories to the highest bidder. Us says Lynne Spears made sure to keep Britney out of the loop on the OK! Magazine deal to make sure Britney didn’t screw up Lynne’s payday. Us Weekly talked to some of Jamie’s friends who said she never even wanted to be a celebrity while her co-star on Zoey 101 says,

  “Jamie wanted something different for her life, and her mom put her in situations she didn’t want to be in,”

  What a fantastic mother. The first thing Lynne Spears probably did when Jamie told her she was pregnant was make that slot machine lever pulling motion with her arm and go “Cha-ching!”

  In other news, there’s a rumor that Casey Aldridge is being paid off to pretend he’s the father to cover up for an older executive who works on Zoey 101 so he won’t face statutory rape charges. Wow. Being a Spears must feel like living in a magical fairy tale full of never ending possibilities.

  Lynne Spears’ ‘Parenting Book’ to be released, backlash continues

  Lynne Spears forthcoming parenting book will still be published, despite the backlash of her teenage daughter Jamie-Lynn’s pregnancy. No surprise really!
  Lynne Spears and daughter Jamie-Lynn, 16, confirmed she is 12-weeks pregnant with student Casey Aldridge’s baby in an interview with OK! magazine on Tuesday Dec 19th, 07.  Lynne Spears made all the arrangements with OK! magazine beforehand to break the bombshell news demonstrating her ‘management skills’.
  The news was first reported to have thrown doubt on whether Lynne’s second book Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame in a Tabloid World, which follows her adventures raising two famous daughters, would ever be released.  The spin doctoring began with Lindsey Nobles, a rep for publisher Thomas Nelson saying:

  “It is her memoir, not a parenting book,”.

  Christian publisher Thomas Nelson has confirmed the book will still come out:

  “Lynne’s memoir will provide a window into the real-life world of fame and worldly success, including the toll it extracts from some who aspire to it. “It will provide a much-needed corrective to a world obsessed with the wrong priorities. “We believe in redemption. Therefore, we are standing with Lynne and her family during this difficult time. Though the book has been delayed, we believe God is at work.”

  When you think about it with the Spears family not missing a beat to sell the breaking pregnancy story off to OK! magazine, Lynne is certainly not going to waste the opportunity to get her book out there, while the ‘iron is hot’.

  Meanwhile as Execs at Nickelodeon are grappling with what to do, teen magazines struggle with how to react to Jamie-Lynn’s pregnancy:

  CosmoGIRL! Editor-in-Chief Susan Schulz, told Us weekly magazine: “I was considering her for an upcoming cover, but with this news, I’d have to rethink that.”

  Though Schulz praised 16-year-old Spears for “taking responsibility,” Schulz added: “I don’t feel like I can put her on the cover right now because, as you can imagine, girls are disappointed in Jamie Lynn.”

  Seventeen magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Ann Shoket, added: “we would certainly consider putting Jamie Lynn on the cover, but only after she overcomes this moment and goes on “to have a career our readers can look up to.”

  “Getting pregnant at 16 is not something we’re encouraging,” Shoket says.

  Schulz continued that she doesn’t expect teen girls to follow in Britney Spears’ little sister’s footsteps.

  “Girls aren’t going to go out and get pregnant because Jamie Lynn did, quite the opposite,” the Shoket says. She said they’re probably thinking, “‘I’m so glad that’s not me.’”

  Jamie Lynn ruined everything

  In the least surprising news of the day, Lynne Spears’ parenting book has been “delayed indefinitely“. In essence, it’s pretty much canceled despite the spokeswoman for the publishing company saying otherwise. Huh. That’s quite strange.

  You’ll also be surprised to learn 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears and 19-year-old boyfriend, Casey Aldridge, were in “complete and total shock” over the pregnancy. Who knew that you could get pregnant when the woman was on top or when you douche right away. What is that? A one in a million chance? Crazy.

  What message does she want to send to other teens about premarital sex? “I definitely don’t think it’s something you should do; it’s better to wait,” she told the magazine. “But I can’t be judgmental because it’s a position I put myself in.”

  Jamie is still an idiot. There’s no mention of birth control, condoms or that third option that proved so successful for her older sister; spinning around in a circle after sex. According to Britney, the spinning motion creates a vortex in the vagina which sucks the sperm straight out.

  I also like how her and her mother went straight to the press before even telling Britney. I thought that was a nice touch.
