This new development is troubling, if only for the people who, um, make their living poking fun at Jacobs' love life. We were hoping for a bridge dweller or Chris Crocker or something! This is just shameful. Shamefully tasteful.
Yeah, he's out of control. According to a friend, Marc has been going out every night in Paris and partying a little too hard.
The designer has been in and out of rehab the past couple years -- and things were most noticeably a little out of hand when Marc went to the Costume Institute Gala two hours late with an unknown man.
His friend says, "There's always a different boy and everyone is worried he's going to pull a Halston," comparing Marc to the famous designer who ruined his career with drugs and drinking. Halston died of AIDS in 1990.
Since his publicized breakup with ex-boyfriend Jason Preston, Marc has been linked to porn star Erik Rhodes and playboy Austin A.
Hopefully Marc's friends can tell him personally about their concerns before it's too late -- and before next year's Costume Institute Gala, where he is rumored to receive honors thanks to good pal Anna Wintour.

Taking a night away from parenting their newborn twins (Max and Emme), Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony showed up at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City for the Costume Institute Gala last night.
Commenting on their absence from their babies, Anthony told press, “They’re missing us!” with Lopez adding that the new additions to their family are doing “fantastic!”

In any case Jenny from the block has totally gone diva. And babies Max and Emme won’t want for a thing, with a color therapist, a masseuse and their own wing of Jennifer and Marc Anthony’s home. The rooms are filled with luxury baby belongings, such as 600-thread-count Egyptian cotton crib linens and diamond-encrusted rattles. And though they can’t use them yet, each tiny tot has a Shetland pony at the ready outside.

A week after Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s newborn twins were born we now have their names. Meaning JLo and Marc have officially struck a deal rumored to be around $6 million dollars with People Magazine for the baby pictures etc. The names are Max and Emme, which are really nice and very down to earth by celebrity couple standards.
Like the announcement of the pregnancy and that JLo was having twins this is kind of old news. We had strong rumors of the babies names on Jan. 29th (almost a month before they were born) here.
The new parents welcomed their son and daughter on Feb. 22. Emme was born at 12:12 a.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz., and Max followed at 12:23 a.m., weighing 6 lbs.
The twins are the first children for Lopez, 38, and the fourth and fifth for Anthony, 39. Congratulations to JLo and Marc.
Emme and Max are going to be well protected. JLo is said to be so worried that her baby twins might be kidnapped that she is shelling out a whopping $600,000 hiring a team of bodyguards to watch over them 24/7. Supposedly Marc and JLo have beefed up their home security by hiring six bodyguards at an annual cost of $600k, two for each eight-hour shift around the clock. Th couple have also reportedly installed closed-circuit cameras in every room in hers and Anthony’s various homes.

Everybody is talking about the amazing birth of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s twins. Even the celebrity world is abuzz with congratulations. And Salma Hayek is beaming for the new parents.
A new mommy herself, Hayek publicly sent her best wishes to the new parents, telling press, “I wish them the best. They will do great.”
The day has finally come, as Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony are the proud new parents of twins, a boy and a girl, Lopez’s manager told People magazine.
According to hospital reports, “The babies were born early Friday in Long Island, N.Y. The girl was born at 12:12 a.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz., and the boy followed at 12:23 a.m., weighing 6 lbs.”
Jennifer Lopez had twins early this morning, with her rep releasing the details to the public. She had a girl weighing in at 5 lbs. 7 oz. at 12:12 am, and a boy at 12:23 am who weighed 6 lbs.
There is no word yet on what their names are of if they’ve already been named.
The newborns are the first for Lopez, 38, and the fourth and fifth for Anthony, 39, who has three children from his first marriage.
The news came out on Wednesday that Lopez had checked into her suite at Northshore Hospital in Long Island. It sounds like she was in labor and had the twins naturally considering that they were born ten minutes apart very late at night. I thought that a lot of OB/GYNs recommended c-sections for twins.
6 and over 5 pounds is a very healthy weight for twins! No wonder she was so big. My son was nearly 9 pounds and I was huge at the end too.

Uh oh! Fashion designer and threesome enthusiast Marc Jacobs is being accused of plagiarism. It seems that a little man in a teeny tiny adorable Swedish village is claiming that he owns the rights to a scarf design that Jacbos recently passed off as his own. The speculation is that some American tourist brought the scarf, which was originally designed in the 1950's, back to the States and somehow it made its way to Jacobs' design studio, where it eventually became part of Marc's collections. That's no better than just outright copying, is it? It seems like that's the same thing (sort of) as saying you invented the automobile because you just got hit by one. Screw you, Marc Jacobs! Well, the stinky rat polo does but I don't want to explain to people that I'm wearing a stinky rat polo. It just sounds gross. About skin cancer awareness, Posh says "since we moved to California I have realised how important it is to practise safe sun for myself and to keep my three boys' skin well protected as well." By the way, she released this statement from under a UV lamp, slathered in olive oil and crisco.
You might think I jest, but you can see for yourself that the fashion designer put on a full-body camel-toe costume for his annual holiday party, this year, entitled, "Arabian Nights." And everyone loves a good excuse to bust out the see-through vest and pants. Amanda Lepore didn't disappoint, showing off the fruits of her many cosmetic surgeries in an outfit that appears to have been constructed solely from gold sequins and yellow string. I love that her little escort is covered from head to toe, allowed only to expose a bit of finger and part of his hand in those gloves of his, I'm guessing, to keep from distracting any attention from her. Good call, Amanda. I especially love the guy with the painted-on abs who knows we know, but doesn't care one bit. Ha!

Last week, Jennifer pulled out of the Movies Rock lineup, reportedly mindful of not over-exerting herself in her pregnant state. But that didn’t stop her from showing up looking fabulous.
Jennifer Lopez is having a baby, as far as we know only one, and we aren’t aware of the gender. However, if you’re feeling lucky you can gamble on the baby’s name, gender and birth date.
When it comes to the sex of the baby, Bodog suggests it’s slightly more likely to be a girl than a boy for J.Lo and Marc. Meanwhile, according to the odds posted on their site, the baby is most likely to be born in April (2:1 odds), with May (2.5:1) a close second.
A baby born before March or after July would provide the biggest payday to the respective gambler, offering 5:1 odds for either pick.
When it comes to naming the little tyke, Bodog offers odds on a slew of names. However, they have dubbed Marco (4:1 odds) and Maria (5:1 odds) as the favorites.
Also on the list of possible wagers are Antonio (5.5:1), Rosario (7:1), Felipe (8:1), Selena (9:1) and Enrique (10:1).
Or perhaps, they’ll keep it in the family naming the child after J.Lo’s mom Guadalupe (9:1) or Marc’s mom, Guillermina (10:1).

J.Lo is also rumored to have gone to hospital after exerting herself too much on her tour, fearing a miscarriage after seeing blood in her urine.
A source close to the star says: “She’s petrified that something could go wrong (with her pregnancy). (The hospital visit) really shook her up. If she lost the babies, her life would be shattered.”
And the singer’s doctor isn’t the only concerned party - her mother, Guadalupe, has been trying for months to get her daughter to slow down.
The insider adds: “Her mum’s constantly been on the phone, telling her to calm down. Guadalupe’s very no-nonsense and she’s told Jen that she needs to take some time out of the limelight to enjoy her pregnancy and her babies when they arrive.”

I find this story hard to believe – if Jennifer Lopez was rushed to hospital, given how closely she’s been followed by paparazzi on bump watch, I’m pretty sure we’d have hospital pictures too. I hope she is safe and well with her pregnancy, But her mother is right that she should take a break. When the quintuplets - tee hee - are born she’s going to regret not sleeping through her pregnancy.

Last night, J Lo and her husband Marc Anthony were in Miami, Florida for their El Cantante Tour. And she just couldn’t keep it a secret (the worst-kept one in recent memory) any longer.

Just kidding, that's really Marc Jacobs chatting on the red carpet with artist Takashi Murakami who were both posing for pictures at the opening for his art show at MOCA's Geffen Contemporary in Los Angeles. Conceptually, Murakami's work winks at pop culture and its obsession with commercialism. Demonstrating Murakami's marriage between art and commerce, the Louis Vuitton handbags that feature Murakami's art work--his recognizable, brightly-colored "LV"--are also available for purchase at the exhibit at a boutique present in conjunction with the exhibit.
The show sounds likes there would be plenty of art to look at, but if I were there, I think I'd be more preoccupied with checking out the attending celebrities. Perfectly-painted Dita Von Teese was there, as you can see below, along with power lesbian couple, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. Skeletal stylist to the stars (with eating disorders) Rachel Zoe managed to conjure up a spell to get her bones to march on down to the event. Oh yes, and Kanye West was also there with his favorite accessory--his fiancee--on his arm.

Julia Rodriguez, Lopez’s grandmother, died this past Saturday while J Lo was performing a concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. And the 38-year-old singer is taking the news pretty hard.
Last night in Los Angeles, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony rocked the Staples Center. And there was plenty of fodder for the J Lo pregnancy rumor mill.
First of all, Marc Anthony dedicated Journey’s “Faithfully” to his wife, and his introduction was very telltale. “This song has a whole new significance,” he told the crowd. When he sang the line “They say that the road ain’t no place to start a family,” the audience went wild.
For Marc Anthony’s ex-wife, Dayanara Torres, it’s time to do some serious backpedaling. Reportedly she may have put her foot in her mouth recently when she confirmed rumors that Jennifer Lopez is expecting.
It all happened on El Escandalo TV, when Torres was doing an interview. The reporter asked how her kids (fathered by Marc Anthony) reacted to the news of a new sibling on the way. She replied, “They don’t know yet because I found out a day ago. But I imagine they will be happy, because when my sister had her kids they were.”
