Back in 2006, Brett Ratner released the third X-Men movie, which he titled X-Men: The Last Stand.

Then, back in April, we first heard that Arnold Schwarzenegger had a new project on the horizon, which is titled Last Stand.

NOW, we’re hearing that progress is once again being made on Sylvester Stallone’s new Rambo flick, which is being titled….wait for it….drum roll…..Rambo: Last Stand!

Here’s what screenwriter Sean Hood had to say about the new Rambo movie:

“I recently finished a first draft of Rambo: Last Stand (Rambo 5) for Millennium films, based on a story idea by Sylvester Stallone. Hopefully, Mr. Stallone will eventually have the time and the inclination to do another Rambo.”

More from Sean Hood about the less-than-creatively titled Rambo sequel:

“I met with Mr Stallone twice last year…He gave me a book, an older screenplay, and about twenty pages he’d written himself to use as inspiration for the last chapter of the Rambo saga…It’s more in line with the small-town thriller of First Blood.”

Sorry Stallone, but we can’t say we’re TOO excited for this one.

We ARE excited, though, for Die Hard: The Last Stand, 007: The Last Stand, and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol: The Last Stand! Ha!

Quite the busy lady these days – as she also has a new TV show debuting this fall – Rachel Bilson was spotted for the first time getting to work on her brand new movie titled “The To Do List”.

With filming getting underway in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday (July 10), the former “OC” star offered up a variety of different looks as she spent some time in her trailer getting her hair done and going over her script before slipping into a funky two piece dress for an outdoor pool scene at the Woodland Hills Recreational Center.

As for the film’s plotline, “The To Do List” tells the story of “a recent high-school grad who feels pressured to become more sexually experienced before she goes to college.”

Written and being directed by Maggie Carey, the movie also stars Alia Shawkat, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Bill Hader and Andy Samberg while scheduled for a 2013 theatrical release date.

Making a late night return to the States following a long international flight, Vanessa Hudgens touched down at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Tuesday (April 5).

Joined by her mother Gina, the “Beastly” babe looked cute in her brimmed hat and shades as she trekked through the terminal after jetting home from Paris, France.

Having been busy promoting her new movie “Sucker Punch” in Europe as of late, Hudgens recently told press that she hopes ex-beau Zac Efron gets the chance to see her latest work.

She told, “I know all his friends are going to want to see the movie so hopefully he’ll get to see it with them. It’s a movie that appeals to a wide audience because if you’re a guy, there are some awesome action sequences. If you’re a woman, it’s empowering and if you’re older, it’s a fantasy. It has something for everyone.”

Call it character fatigue, call it a lesson learned, but it seems that Carrie Bradshaw won’t be slipping on her Manolos anytime in the near future.

At least if you believe Sarah Jessica Parker who, according to the Washington Post, is said to be pro-threequel, anti-prequel when it comes to the franchise that made Carrie, Miranda, Samantha, and Charlotte such iconic characters. Parker said that “there’s one more story to tell” when it comes to the foursome, but her “Wha-a-a-at?!” reaction to the prospect of a prequel (rumored to be starring Blake Lively) makes it clear that the supposed adaptation of “Summer in the City” would not be supported by the show’s heroine.

Sex had a very limp sequel in 2010, a sequel that critics ravaged and consumers just shrugged at. I must admit, I’ve seen the series as a whole probably 3-4 times and I still haven’t seen the second movie, only because the first ended things well enough to where the second just felt superfluous (and I’m still very apathetic about the first movie). If they feel the need to make a third movie, I only hope the story is strong enough and that they’ve learned things from the first two films in order to provide a proper swan song for our four favorite Manhattan gals. To keep rehashing the show strictly for monetary purposes (even though the sequel did a fraction of the predecessor’s business, it still made a pretty penny) is frustrating as a fan. If you don’t have the story, let the franchise die. Please.

Would you watch a third Sex and the City movie? Why or why not? If there is a third movie that’s not a prequel, what would you want to see happen? (My suggestion? Adapt the hilarious Saturday Night Live sketch from 2004 into a feature film or break Carrie/Big up and focus on divorce.) Are there any other HBO shows that should get a movie?
