Why are all these kids smiling? They probably just took a look at their bank accounts.
High School has definitely paid off big time for the stars of Disney's High School Musical franchise. How much you ask? Let's just say none of them will be hittin' up the local fast food outlet for a part-time job anytime soon.

Zac, Vanessa, Ashley and the rest of the gang from HSM3 were in New York City Tuesday, where they were making the rounds on the morning talk shows. We don't know about you, but after watching these kids travel the globe going to premiere after premiere, we're more than ready for this movie to hit theaters!
We're sure the cast is ready to have a little time off as well!
It’s a full-on media blitz this week, as the cast of “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” are gearing up for the big theatrical release this Friday, October 24th.
And this morning Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, and Monique Coleman all stopped by the NBC Studios at Rockefeller Center in New York City for an appearance on the “Today” show.
Out supporting her fellow Disney stars, Selena Gomez made a grand arrival for the premiere of the “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” at the Galen Center in Los Angeles on Thursday evening (October 16).
Wearing a white halter-style dress, the “Wizards of Waverly Place” starlet smilingly posed for photographers before moving along to mingle with fellow event attendees.
Sporting a brand new dark hairdo, former blonde Ashley Tisdale was spotted out for her “High School Musical 3” premiere on Thursday (October 16).
Leaving her home hand-in-hand with boyfriend Jared Murillo, Tizzie looked radiant in a flowing white gown as she headed to her chauffeured ride.
They’ve been working so hard during their UK promotional tour, and last night the High School Musical gang finally got a night to just sit back and relax.
The English paparazzi caught up to Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Jemma McKenzie-Brown, and Corbin Bleu all out to eat at the Floridita restaurant in London’s Soho district.
Though the big UK premiere of “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” is already over and done with, the cast still has plenty of promotional duties to tend to across the pond.
And earlier today (October 8), Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Corbin Bleu, Ashley Tisdale, and Jemma McKenzie-Brown attended a press junket in the city of London.
They enjoyed a delicious dinner out in Madrid, Spain last night, and earlier today the stars of “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” were looking fine at the Madrid photocall.
Corbin Bleu, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, and Zac Efron were all spotted hamming it up at the ME Hotel, ahead of the Spanish premiere.

I guess Zac is practical joker on the High School Musical set and those he has been pranking have chosen to get back at him for all he has done. And boy did they get him, I feel bad how bad he was soaked until he took his shirt and then I was grateful they did it!
BTW how annoying was Ashley Tisdale in that video?
It’s already beginning… the countdown to the release of “High School Musical 3: Senior Year.” And Disney is whetting our appetites with the first official trailer.
True-to-form, the new trailer seems to inject a newfound ache for HSM fans everywhere, with a teaser that alludes to Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens’ characters (Troy and Gabriella) possibly breaking up!
Finished up with the filming of “High School Musical 3” in Salt Lake City, Ashley Tisdale, along with her mom, Lisa Tisdale, were spotted arriving at LAX Airport on Saturday (June 28).
The Disney starlet looked her usual cute self in a pretty white dress as she toted her pup Maui, decked out with a little pink bow, through the terminal and to an awaiting car.
Taking a break from filming to do a little promotional work, the cast of “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” took part in a start-of-production press conference at East High School in Salt Lake City on Friday (May 2).
Among those in attendance were the film’s stars, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman, along with director Kenny Ortega.
Are you ready for High School Musical 3: Senior Year on October 24th? By the looks of that poster the movie is going to be just as much fun as the first two, so I can't wait!!!

That's Vanessa Hudgens, star of Disney's High School Musical, explaining to GQ how the entertainment industry works. Another truth: 19-year-old starlets sell copies of magazines for middle-aged men, particularly when packaged with these photographs and the headline High School Lolita. Incidentally, these photos will spread to fan sites frequented by Hudgens' main fan base, pre-pubescent girls, so passing on this wisdom to a new generation. And, before taking Hudgens' quote as the shallow babbling of a fame-drunk teenager, stop to think: it's also entirely true.
Zac Efron broke some sad news on MySpace that Vanessa Hudgens and him will not be doing High School Musical 4. So I guess High School Musical the College Years, the Marriage years, the Nursing Home Years will not be a go either.
But for you Zanessa fans there is some good news from him about their relationship.

I can't wait to see what moves are hurting Zac Efron's feet in High School Musical 3 because if they are anything like that last 2 HSMs you know they are going to be amazing! addthis_url = 'http%3A%2F%2Fseriouslyomg.com%2F%3Fp%3D7923'; addthis_title = 'Zac+Efron+blogs+about+High+School+Musical+3'; addthis_pub = '';
God, we get it. You're bathing in money. Here's Ashley Tisdale showing off her Louis Vuitton bag and her nose job at the airport. She's with her High School Musical 3: Senior Year co-stars, Vanessa Hudgens and Olesya Rulin. We'd like to thank Vanessa for keeping her bushfire under wraps.
High School Musical 3 is the end of the epic High School Musical trilogy. It's like Lord of the Rings but the feet on the Hobbits aren't as hairy and it's not on cable as much.
But it looks like they might be laying the groundwork for a new one. They're introducing three new sophomore characters in the flick, to be played by Matt Prokop, Justin Martin and Jemma McKenzie-Brown.
High School Musical Director and producer Kenny Ortega auditioned over a thousand teen actors in the U.S., Canada and the UK. And he's sure that he found his sophomore "Wildcats". "We think these talented performers will bring lots of humor, new twists, and musical fun to the film," he says.
Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron better up their game. It sounds like they might have some competition. Vanessa better get back to her cell phone picture nudity tricks and Zac Efron should get even more girly. The tweens love androgyny.

Vanessa Hudgens looks really comfortable with the alligator don't you think, or maybe she is thinking he would make a great pair of shoes and purse! Zac better watch out because that cockatoo looks to be getting really close to her!

Bravo! Bravo!
That is scary how well it works when you do some editing to the video of Zac Efron doing Bet On It and add the audio from The Hills are Alive with the Sound Music to it! You would never know that was not that original purpose of that scene!!!
BTW here is the original version of Zac Efron doing Bet On It from High School Musical 2:

Vanessa Hudgens, has revealed to People magazine that she will be joining the cast of "High School Musical 3," participating in the third installment of the movie series that helped us to know who the heck she was when naked pictures of her showed up on the Internet. According to Hudgens, negotiations for the entire cast had yet to be signed, but that her co-stars were all near finalizing their deals with the film, set to be the first in the franchise to hit the big screen. Here's what Hudgens told People:
"I am so very excited. To do a third one for the big screen, I can't begin to think how much fun we'll have."Additionally, the young starlet will again be reunited with her supposed boyfriend, Zac Efron, who is looking so intently into the camera, as if to dare us to question his sexuality. Also, you can see Ashley Tisdale who looks super-cute, but as she's holding up her dog to her hair, I'm realizing that it looks like they both have the same highlights and low-lights. Is that what the kids are doing these days? Sigh. I'm old.

Vanessa Hudgens was leaving a gym with her dad and when he saw that the paparazzi was taking pictures of them he decided to blow off some steam at them according to Us Weekly. Well maybe not steam, but water from his water bottle. Problem was it backfired on him because instead of the water splashing on them it splashed on him instead. Vanessa of course begged him to stop, but it was too late because a camera is quicker that water. BTW I can understand why her dad would be upset about her picture being taken, after all she became infamous because of a few pictures…
This past September, after her nude photo debacle, OK magazine had reported that Vanessa Hudgens would be replaced in High School Musical 3 by a member of the Cheetah Girls. But those claims look to be untrue.
In news that’s sure to bring a smile to the faces of Disney fans around the globe, breaking reports tell that Vanessa will be appearing in the hit franchise after all.

Want to see if he is still cute today then
If you haven’t caught a performance of High School Musical on ice yet, what are you waiting for? Last night, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Kaycee Stroh, Chris Warren Jr. and Lucas Gabreel were all at the Staples Center in Los Angeles to check out the show.
According to the producers of the iced version of the movie, you will be getting more bang for your buck. The first act of the show contains the plotline from HSM 1, and after the intermission, you’ll get HSM 2 on the rink.
"Following the appearance on the Web of a nude photo of Vanessa Hudgens, a source close to the situation tells PEOPLE that the 'High School Musical' actress once sent risqué photos of herself to Nickelodeon star Drake Bell. Hudgens had emailed photos to the 'Drake and Josh' actor a couple of years ago, before she was famous, the source says." [People]
Dang! That is a crazy! It is nice to see that High School Musical is just as popular overseas as it here. And I love how Monique Coleman is the only one who can't be bothered by all the cheering.
BTW here is a little bonus picture of the extremely hot Zac Efron!!!
Seriously, when are they gonna get back in their pods and fly back to the mothership? These kids aren't real! They're carved out of radioactive cream cheese! They're going to replace you! You'll have better skin and a hot haircut, but you won't be able to swear or be open about your sexuality! Though I like how one of those chicks is named after a dog. That's a hot move. Anyway, the stars of "High School Musical" and "High School Musical 2" and the umpteen sequels they're gonna birth until the kids tire and no-names take their place and you can only get "High School Music 7: Going For Our MBA!" in the bargain basement bin at a Blockbuster...jesus that was a run-on. And I know run-ons. Anyway, they got a raise.
Life & Style reports that leading the charge is Zac, 19, the series' breakout star, who's gone on record saying he hopes not to do many more sequels. He's just been offered $2.75 million, says an insider close to him, and other leads have been offered $1 million. But no one has signed on the dotted line."Zac's telling the other actors to make sure they get what they deserve," says the Zac insider. "He's telling them their worth and showing them what else is out there."Zac was paid one million for "2". So he got himself some scratch. Every parent I know is suffering through the "High School Musical" nightmare. Kids watch that mess over and over and over again. You know there's some sort of signal in there that's going to take these kids over. I'm going to wake up and all the kids in the neighborhood are going to be hovering outside my window, and wearing Hollister and have tans and trying to hypnotize me into joining their wholesome teen master race.

The stars of "High School Musical" and "High School Musical 2: Electric Boogaloo" want to make bank if this shit goes to the silver screen. People I know are torn over that Efron kid's "Rolling Stone" cover. Some find it hot. Others find it a weird pose, and think he might have gotten a face lift. The jury's still out on that kid. He needs to stop wearing so much foundation, though. Less is more, trannie teen.
Disney honchos still plan to turn their made-for-TV hit "High School Musical" into a real movie, but they may have to do it without the TV version's major stars, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. A tipster says Disney is "only offering them $1 million each. Zac and Vanessa aren't going to do it." A studio spokesperson told us, "We are still in negotiations with the entire cast, but we don't comment on the specifics of negotiations."Apparently this mess Disney a ton o' scratch, so they need to pay up. Isn't one of the girls named after a dog in "High School Musical"? I think I need to watch this. I'd probably fall in love.
More Venessa After the Jump
If you were anywhere near Downtown Disney yesterday, you may have had a bit of trouble getting around. Apparently the crowds were huge for High School Musical 2’s premiere.
There were thousands of people cramming in to see the stars of the Disney phenomenon as the film made its highly anticipated debut, and the soundtrack was released.
