New parents Joel Madden and Nicole Richie are preparing to get married. A source close to the couple has revealed that the two are gonna be walking down the aisle sometime this summer!
The insider also reports that wedding invites are going out next week and that Nicole will have eight bridesmaids. One would guess that Paris Hilton, who’s dating Joel’s bro Benji, will be one of the lucky eight?
As the story goes, what a difference a year makes. Last year Nicole was facing time in jail, and now she’s a new mom preparing to celebrate marriage.
Richie’s rep insists that the report that the pair are planning a summer wedding, which originally came from OK! magazine, are “not true,” adding, “they are not even engaged”.

On a wild night for celebrity baby deliveries in Hollywood, Nicole Richie gave birth to a baby girl today at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. She and husband Joel Madden have named their baby girl Harlow Winter Kate Madden. Harlow weighs in at 6 lbs and 7 oz. Their rep says that baby Harlow is already back Congratulations to the new family!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden threw a big holiday party on Saturday for children and families from L.A. homeless programs.
More than 200 children and their family members were treated to a “winter wonderland” on the Paramount Studios lot featuring teddy bears, cookies, cupcakes, face-painting, clowns, holiday music, Santa Claus and his elves. Children, selected from the L.A. homeless program Beyond Shelter, were able to choose from a teddy bear mountain of 500 “Cuddle Cub” stuffed bears and were also given new pairs of Stride-Rite shoes thanks to the Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation.
“We want to do much more to address the homeless issue, especially where it puts children at risk. But for now, we can at least try to help them have a merry Christmas by giving them teddy bears and getting them fitted for shoes. That’s something we can do right now, today.”
The event was just the latest instance where the expectant couple gave back to the community. Congratulations to them and their efforts!
