Getting ever-closer to her due date, Jennifer Garner was spotted going into the Shutters Hotel in Santa Monica, California earlier today (November 20).
The “Alias” actress was greeted by a male worker, and looked relaxed as she exited her car sporting a light blue v-neck maternity sweater overtop a black shirt with black trousers.
In Brad Garrett’s defense he said enough, although he was wrong to attack the paparazzi. I don’t know about you but when a 6′7″ man says enough, I think it is wise to listen.
UPDATE: TMZ is saying that law enforcement will open a criminal investigation against Garrett.
Taking advantage of a day away from her busy schedule, Nicole Richie was spotted shopping at the Century City Mall yesterday (October 26).
The “Simple Life” starlet seemed annoyed with the paparazzi to the point that she asked some security guards to remove the shutterbugs from the area. She looked cute and casual in a black top with a white shirt overtop, dark wash jeans, and sandals.
He’s been in Germany filming “Inglorious Bastards” with Quentin Tarantino. But earlier today when a photographer tried to get some pics of Brad Pitt, he was accosted by security guards.
The injured shutterbug, working for a Berlin-based newspaper, told press that he was trying to take some long-range shots of the “Fight Club” stud when five security guards grappled with him, causing bruises to his face and damage to his camera.
Overwhelmed by paparazzi following her every move, Britney Spears was spotted paying a visit to Fragment Jewelry store in Soho on Tuesday (September 30).
After pulling up in her chauffeured SUV, the “Gimme More” singer got flustered wading through the crowd of gathered spectators - deciding to turn around and get back into the car.
Her frequent flyer mileage account must be massive, and yesterday Lindsay Lohan was spotted once again getting ready to fly the friendly skies.
The paparazzi caught up to the “Mean Girls” actress as she was dropped off by her girlfriend Samantha Ronson at LAX International Airport, making her way inside to the security checkpoint.
She’s been enjoying some time off as of late, having finished her “Labor Pains” and “Ugly Betty” gigs. And yesterday Lindsay Lohan decided it was time for some retail therapy.
The “Mean Girls” gal headed out to Beverly Hills for some shopping on Robertson Boulevard, during which she was constantly hounded by the paparazzi.
Seems like yesterday that we did the very first modern paparazzi gallery exhibition at the Seyhoun Gallery on trendy Melrose Ave in Los Angeles. We were the first!! Sure Galella does shows of his vintage sixties and seventies work, but Buzz Foto was the first to do a modern day exhibition with iconic fine art photographs of Lindsay, Britney, Paris & Nicole. Why were we the first? Because we have something that makes us standout. Creativity! Not only that but, we are patrons of the arts supporting local galleries, artists, the Armand Hammer Museum, MOMA and of course LACMA. Good luck ever seeing our competition at a museum opening or a board meeting! Hell would freeze over first.
So now the competition wants to do a fine art parparazzi photo exhibition. What a brilliant concept and how unique. We are flattered and they can always hire us as a consultant!

Britney Spears is at all times, in public at least, surrounded by a gang of ex-con illegal-immigrant paparazzi with no regard for traffic laws, so it's probably no surprise that the Los Angeles district attorney's office now says one of the paps intentionally got himself run over, presumably so he could sue the singer. The unidentified photographer asked county prosecutors to investigate an incident in which, he claims, Spears ran over his foot with her SUV. He wanted her brought up on charges. The DA looked into it — Spears had a parking lot hit-and-run incident once — and found that, actually, if the collision happened at all, it was the photographer's fault:
After reviewing police records and a videotape of the incident last year, Deputy District Attorney Joseph D. Shidler wrote Friday that the "only way the victim's foot could have been where the video indicates it to be was by the victim placing it in that location."
Apparently the video showed enough to place blame on the pap but did not actually show the alleged run-over. It did show a lot of "noise and confusion" surrounding the vehicle, which was going "extremely slow."
Note to paparazzi: If you've been run over by Britney Spears' car, and there's not a single video or photo definitively proving it, it didn't happen, period. No one is going to believe that not a single cameraman in that desperate hive managed to get a shot of your foot being crushed.

Following the death of her former fiancé/babydaddy Heath Ledger, the Dawson’s Creek cutie became rather reclusive. However, she was spotted out and about again yesterday with her daughter Matilda Rose.

Gwyneth Paltrow thinks Britney Spears has been driven insane – and it’s all because of the paparazzi. I think Gwyneth may be the first celebrity to all-out call Britney Spears insane. And considering that Brit seems to have gotten a little better lately, I’m guessing that that might sting a bit. But either way, Gwyneth has accused the paparazzi of making Britney Spears literally go insane.
Gwyneth Paltrow has accused Adnan Ghalib and the paparazzi of pushing Britney Spears over the edge. She said the media frenzy surrounding Spears and her relationship with the Birmingham-born snapper had caused her to go “insane”.
Paltrow, whose own marriage to Chris Martin has been scrutinised in the press, said: “Look at what they’ve done to Britney. The paparazzi and magazines have blood on their hands. They literally made her go insane.
“She’s got classic Stockholm Syndrome - she fell in love with a paparazzo and went insane. The photographers and editors of these magazines have such bad karma. It’s pretty dark.”

Britney seems to have gotten better lately, and has been avoiding the paparazzi. Maybe there’s a connection between the two. Of course having someone else make decisions for her probably helps a lot too. Because Britney’s been reigned to such an extreme degree (which seems to be a good thing) it’s hard to tell if she’s really gotten better or if we just aren’t seeing the crazy out and about and on display.
Gwyneth’s reaction to the paparazzi’s treatment of Britney could explain the lengths she goes to in avoiding them, and keeping her kids sheltered from photographers. Husband Chris Martin has also been known to strike out at paps that get too close to his family. Everything considered, maybe that’s not a bad thing.

I should have stopped when the video was titled Chris Crocker Flashes Paparazzi, but I didn’t. Then I should have stopped when they had a warning at the beginning of the video, but I didn’t. Then I should have stopped when he started talking because he is just so annoying, but I didn’t. I should have stopped when the paprazzi asked him for a crotch shot and he took off his underwear, but I didn’t. And then when opened the car door that should have been enough, but it wasn’t so I replayed it to see his little peepee. Why oh why…
OK now that I have given you all those warnings, how many of you also watched that all the way through?
Though I am now a very happy writer, I have a degree in criminal justice. And though writing and the law don’t exactly go hand in hand, sometimes the two intersect in a blissful moment I like to call “JayBird’s nirvana.” Though I tend to use my real name when talking to myself, because talking to myself under my pseudonym would be absolutely unstable. Today William Bratton, L.A.P.D. Police chief, responded to the propositioned paparazzi law proposed by Councilman Dennis Zine. Zine wants to protect our beloved celebrities from the aggressive paparazzi. And while he has a point, Chief Bratton’s response was absolutely priceless.
What we need is Britney Spears to stay home instead of traipsing all over town. That would solve the problem. We don’t need additional laws…. I’ve got laws coming out my ears to deal with this issue.
What you have is several young women in this town and several young men basically making fools of themselves and tying up not only my resources but the resources of the media that would do better covering legitimate stories instead of a bunch of airheads running around out there….
Quite clearly some of these characters so favored by the paparazzi are clearly in need of services. Not police services, but psychiatric services.

That’s one of the many things I love about those in law enforcement: they have a way of cutting through the bullshit and just saying it. I realize he didn’t technically say Britney Spears needs psychiatric services, as that would be a bit irresponsible. But the implication was pretty clear – and he’s totally right. Britney courts the paparazzi. That in and of itself might be a sign of instability and a sign she needs help. It’s obviously hard to speak for all celebs and what they go through with photographers. But the people that are most hogging police services are the ones who most court the attention. She needs to stay home and stop spending hours and hours each day driving around aimlessly, causing traffic jams and running red lights. And maybe listen to that suggestion about some psychiatric help too.

The LAPD police chief blames the celebrity “victims” for the paparazzi problems in his city. Chief William Bratton said there is no need for a proposed law that would create a zone of personal space around people of interest to the media, and blames the celebrities themselves for courting the attention. He said that if Britney just stayed home instead of “traipsing all over town” she wouldn’t have these problems, and that the celebrities that were most followed were “basically making fools of themselves.” He added that many of “these characters… are clearly in need of [psychiatric services]”Britney went out without underwear twice this week, so the police chief does have a somewhat valid argument. He says that celebrities are “traipsing around” though, when many of them are just trying to do things that we all do like shopping or going out to dinner, but in the Hollywood fishbowl where everything is captured for our greedy consumption. I think the issue is not that the celebrities should be made prisoners in their own homes, something that Britney has complained about after her father took control of her affairs, but that there are so many damn paparazzi where they live who are following them around.
Maybe this guy should just tell the celebrities to move and take their tax money with them. In his mind it’s probably just a handful of people causing all the problems anyway and he could be right. It’s all Britney/Lohan/Paris/Brangelina in the photos and the gossip rags.
A decent solution might be that the paparazzi are just allowed to stay outside certain nightclubs and restaurants, with the permission of the owners and management. They can also come to other locations if a celebrity or their rep calls and invites them. The paparazzi wouldn’t be allowed to follow and stalk celebrities, or to stake out their homes, gyms, or grocery stores. That way, if people want to get their picture taken they can show up at the Ivy for lunch or call the paparazzi and tell them where they are.
You can sort of point fingers at Paris, Britney, and Lohan for the photographers that swarm them, but it’s gotten so out of hand that it sounds too simplistic to say they’re the cause of all the paparazzi problems in that city. You certainly can’t blame them for the media focus on celebrities. Some of them love the attention but it’s not like they have much control over it, unless they take off their panties and flash us like Britney does.

Paying a visit to her favorite libation station Starbucks, Britney Spears was spotted with not one, not two, but three different bodyguards yesterday evening.
And it looks like she was all out of bras (again) as the “Gimme More” singer sported a white v-neck shirt and jeans, along with her usual big black sunglasses.
In recent history paparazzi have become very aggressive, surrounding and stalking celebrities and becoming involved in dangerous high speed car chases. A paparazzi chase is said to have been a factor in the accident that killed Lady Diana and Dodi. Technology allows the images that the paparazzi capture to move much faster than before. Eva Longoria went swimming with a dog biscuit tucked into her suit, got a photo taken of her doing it, and when she went back to her towel, she found a message on her cell asking why she was wearing a dog biscuit. The pictures had moved that fast.
Not to mention the psychological impact of those Britney upskirt pictures – I like my gossip with my morning coffee, and I was truly not prepared for Britney’s crotch, that early in the morning.
So Dennis P. Zine, LA councilor, is going to help.
Last week, spurred by the aggressive paparazzi coverage of Spears, City Councilman Dennis Zine announced that he plans to push for an ordinance that would create a minimum “personal safety zone” around individuals targeted by the media.
Saying he didn’t “want a repeat of what happened to Princess Diana with a celebrity in Los Angeles,” Zine said he plans to introduce a motion that calls for the city attorney and LAPD to draft new restrictions on paparazzi, including an ordinance that would create a zone of clear space in order to protect public safety on streets, sidewalks and at access points to emergency care facilities and private businesses and homes.
Police Chief William J. Bratton, however, said existing laws are sufficient for his officers to deal with the paparazzi
It is of course against the law to break the speed limit, trespass on private property and take pictures up someone’s skirt without their consent. In some countries paps actually need the permission of their subject to release the photos, but this doesn’t matter as they just sell the pictures to overseas agents.
I don’t think new laws need to be created, but maybe better enforcement of the ones already established. I see that this would protect all people in the media, and I hope this includes people who have been the victim of a tragedy. Families of murder victims, for example, are often approached by media to make a statement, sometimes before they have even been informed of the death by police. Hopefully the law will apply to them as they have no representative or security to act as a buffer between them and the media.
Of course, I’m to sure where Britney and her house party invites, gas pump assisting and sexual relationships with paparazzi fit in with all this. Maybe she’ll have to go back to dating pop stars and attending a-list parties. Oh, those were the days!

So it seems Britney Spears was up to her usual crazy-assed self this past weekend.
She flaunted herself all over town purposefully in front of paparazzi and then got angry at them when they flocked to her. She’s a f**king head case. These videos just go to support the very reasons I hate this bitch.
In this first video Britney stops to take a picture of a mural - one she has probably driven by a million times before - but smelled a photo-op and decided to get out of her car and snap a pic. When the paps swarm her and make it difficult for her to take a picture, she calls them “motherf**kers” and says “I’m a person - just like you!” Basically she throws a tantrum and acts like a little diva cunt, hurling the f-bombs and the “y’all’s” as she freaks. She then bolts out of there in her car, only to return moments later after losing her memory card for her camera.
Now in this video, Britney reverts back to her mini-mart bathroom tactic. She walks into a gas station asking, “Do you have a potty?” while covering her mouth. She seems calm until a cameraman asks if she is sick. Then she runs to the commode. While inside the bathroom, the paps foam at the mouth just outside of the door. You hear a woman claim to be pregnant and say she needs the restroom. The paparazzi basically tell her to f**k herself, and she is left fuming. Britney’s assistant, or whoever, is let into the bathroom by Britney and the two probably do fat rails off each other’s twats. At one point you can hear Brit (very loudly) whining in a high pitched voice - screaming about some studio she wants. The conversation sounds like a five-year-old having a fit.
Britney at yet another gas station. Britney sits in her car as her friend “Carla” and a cameraman (who Britney will soon pork) take care of filling her up with gas. She lights up before taking off, surprising not throwing the match out the window on her way out..
Britney and new BFF Carla leave a Greek restaurant and Britney is on the hunt for a specific cameraman. She asks the paps about him and finds someone who says he will call the photographer- even though it’s his day off. Britney and Carla whisper back and forth like a couple of preteen girls.
Now Britney has a British accent and think it would be a good idea to go to a restroom in a Walgreen’s. Chaos ensues with the paps knocking things over and chasing her through the aisles. Carla and Brit head to the bathroom again…blah, blah, blah. As they probably Hoover up the blow the photographer Britney is sweet on gets grilled.
It must be time to head to another gas station - and another bathroom. The camera guy is driving Britney around. Britney still talks with the fake accent, and fails to find a bathroom at the station, so she heads back to the car where her new man is waiting.
In this final video, Britney (wearing her pink wig) and new guy arrive at The Penninsula Hotel, where employees there try and get the paps to leave. They threaten them with trespassing and police, but the little f**kers still persist in taking footage. Britney and dude get a room and the next time you see him is at 4 am, when he comes out for a cigarette. He is pestered by paparazzi who treat him like King Pap and supply him with a fresh pack of smokes. He tells his peers that he and Britney merely ‘had lunch’, which probably means he chowed her rotten box. Eww, I know.
And you thought you had an exciting weekend! Britney is so f**ked up! Sex & drugs, white trash style. I wouldn’t be surprised if the bitch was doing meth. The only reason she snorts blow is because she’s loaded. She can afford to. Otherwise she would be sitting in her moldy trailer with a shitload more kids (because she couldn’t afford the abortions) boinking the neighborhood meth dealer for a baggie.
Britney had an event-filled few days leading up to Christmas in which she gave us a public lesson on typical bipolar and/or drug addict behavior. You’ve probably heard by now that she decided to pick her next lover from among the paparazzi that swarm around her constantly, and settled on a British guy named Adnan. OK! Magazine has the blow-by-blow, so to speak.
The handsome photographer wasn’t around when Britney decided she wanted to shack up with him on Saturday, so she asked his co-worker to summon him for her. Adnan showed up and hung out with her in the car as they drove around aimlessly for an hour. At one point she got out to take a photo of a mural and then freaked out swearing at photographers for taking pictures of her, throwing her camera on the ground. When one of them retrieved the memory card for her she was all sweetness and light, saying “I love you guys… it’s not like me to get mad at you.”
Britney visited several public restrooms that night, which seems to be evidence of some kind of UTI or drug use. My vote is on drug use since she was seen covering her face and nose. She also changed outfits three times.
Adnan and Britney went to her house, but they didn’t stay there because she told him it was too dirty. He then went to the Pennisula hotel with Britney and came out of the room an hour later to buy cigarettes. He told photographers who quizzed him on what was going on that “It’s hard to make babies when you’re just having lunch.” It was night time at that point, so he must not have meant it literally.
After buying some smokes the guy went back up to the hotel with Britney and left Sunday morning at 10:30 am. He then went to her house, and OK! notes that her kids were scheduled for a visit later that day.
So Britney shacked up with a photographer. She doesn’t really have a lot of suitors to chose from at this point. It seems inevitable that she picked one of the guys who is around her constantly, especially since that restaurant manager didn’t work out.
There’s also a story in this week’s National Enquirer that Britney wasn’t just barred from the Four Seasons - she was personally escorted out by security when she didn’t pack up quick enough:
[Britney] raised so much hell at swanky Four Seasons hotel in BevHills she was summarily ejected from her Presidential Suite and escorted off the posh premises by security guards! Sources say Britney, who’d practically taken up residency at the legendary inn, had been warned repeatedly by management that a Hollywood bigshot in the suite directly below hers - a longtime resident who pays a million bucks-plus per year - was complaining about nighttime parties, loud music and drunken hoochie-momma’s screaming from Brit’s balcony to people below! After visits by security failed to silence Swamp Thang and her brain-fried menagerie, Mr. Angry VIP phoned the hotel manager and threatened to move out. Fed up, the manager phoned Britney and ordered her to vacate the premises immediately. Incredibly, the furious brat refused at first. Snapped the manager: “I’m sending security up NOW! Pack your bags and leave, please.” Finally bowing to the inevitable, Britney packed up and was escorted down the street and out the exit by security.

It seems as if Britney tried to return on another night, because outlets were reporting that she was turned away from the Four Seasons and barred from future visits.
And there’s a story that experts feel Britney is at risk for suicide. They probably got the idea from Perez Hilton, who said on The View when asked if he felt guilty for reporting so negatively about celebrities that “If Britney committed suicide tomorrow and died, she would be the only one to blame I think.”
Page Six quoted an “addiction expert” as saying that “[Britney’s] going to eventually lose it altogether if she doesn’t get the help she needs.” The expert also says that Britney is seeking attention after her sister got pregnant, taking the focus away from her erratic behavior and calling for even more drastic measures.
Hang in there Britney, all you need to do is start hanging out with your sister again once she starts showing and you’ll get plenty of publicity.
Britney could also take the Paris Hilton route to mass media exposure - she could go to jail. OK! Magazine reports that if Britney misses another deposition in her custody case with K-Fed she could be sent to jail for contempt of court.

Julia Roberts is getting some pretty bad press for chewing out one of the paparazzi who had followed her to her kids’ school. Apparently she was so pissed that she got in her car and was following the guy and blaring on her horn. The paparazzi caught the whole thing on tape, and of course sold it as soon as he got home. It seems like a lot of people are criticizing Julia, but she makes some really good points. There is a line between following celebrities – who have chosen to be famous – and following their little kids, who deserve a reasonable amount of privacy, and didn’t choose fame.
Julia Roberts, a mother of three, has made it clear – in her actions and now in words – that she doesn’t like paparazzi staking out schools in order to get photos. Roberts, 40, recently chased down a photographer in her SUV near a school and gave him an earful, in an incident that was caught on video and shown on TMZ. Asked by Access Hollywood for Friday’s show what she said to the man, Roberts replied, “I just told him a school is not a place for a grown man to be crawling around trying to take pictures.”
She added: “If you want to take a picture of a person, then go to an adult place. Go to the coffee shop, go to the grocery store, go to the restaurant. Don’t stake out someone’s children’s church, school or playground environment.”
In the recent incident, Roberts, who did not have her kids with her, pursued a car of photographers and got them to pull over. Telling one man to shut off his camera, she said, “I want to talk to you about the fact that you’re at a school where children go. Turn it off!”

Frankly I think Roberts was perfectly right to get mad. Even if her kids weren’t with her, she was at their school, so it had to do with them. There are worse things than overprotective parents. I think it’s totally normal that her natural inclination is to get mad and go after people that she feels are invading her kids’ space. She might have been a bit irrational, but I’m sure it’s not the first time paparazzi have shown up around her kids. It was probably just the straw that broke the camel’s proverbial back. In an article in this month’s Vanity Fair, Julia mentioned that she thinks it’s wrong for the paparazzi to take pictures of kids and/or publish their faces. She’s standing by what she believes, and every parents has the right and duty to look out for their kids’ well-being. Though the paps did catch her parking in a handicap spot last week, so maybe she’s riled up for another reason.

Being a celeb offers many perks of the famous, like skipping the line at a nightclub, or being let off a speeding ticket. Unfortunately, it’s not enough to get you out of going to court, even if you are Australia’s most famous actress.
Nicole Kidman has been called to give evidence in a defamation suit that paparazzo Jamie Fawcett is filing against Fairfax newspapers after they declared him to be “Sydney’s “most disliked freelance photographer” and “a cowboy type” who had “scared her (Kidman) on the road” and was determined to “wreak havoc” on her private life”. Nicole is a witness to these alleged tactics, after she applied for an apprehended violence order, and had him banned from coming within 500 metres of her home. Her driver gave evidence today of Fawcett’s tactics and said Nicole “feared for her life.”
However, she’s currently working at a Sydney studio on the film Australia with Hugh Jackman, and can’t leave the set without disrupting 335 people’s work schedule.
Sydney’s Supreme Court has rejected an affidavit from Kidman solicitor Stuart Gibson that Kidman is too busy to testify in person during court hours.
“It would not be possible or practical to suspend filming for a couple of hours in those time periods because Ms Kidman is in virtually every scene being shot during this time frame and is required to deliver her lines even when she is off camera,” the affidavit reads.
So, Nicole’s lawyers suggested a video link up, normally only allowed for children in abuse cases to give evidence so they don’t have to be in the same room as their abuser, or she could appear on the weekend. Courts in Australia aren’t open on weekends.
Today it has been suggested she may be able to appear this coming Monday for a few hours. Often the courts in Australia call you to give evidence and you spend days waiting to actually be called to the stand, so I can see what Nic’s problem is here. Hopefully she’s less of a diva in the courthouse than on the movie set.

British film star Jude Law was arrested following an altercation after he returned home to London from spending time at the Venice Film Festival. The paparazzi victim claims to have suffered minor injuries when Jude tried to grab the camera he was using to take photos right outside the star’s home.
“A 34-year-old man from Maida Vale was arrested yesterday on suspicion of actual bodily harm after voluntarily attending a London police station,” a police spokesman said. “The arrest followed an allegation of assault yesterday at a residential address in Maida Vale. The 34-year-old man was released on bail to a date in October pending further inquiries.”
