Here’s a spectacularly bad idea. Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are supposedly planning a sensational double wedding. Oh boy! Showbiz Spy reports that the two want to marry their boyfriends, the Madden twins, in a double wedding and make millions from all the publicity. This sounds like the kind of silly fantasizing, little girls do at slumber party, except for the making millions part.Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have a 3-month-old daughter, Harlow, and have been dating since December 2006. Hilton, who has also been walking around town with a ring on her engagement finger, has been dating Benji for about 2 months (so you know it must be serious).
A source said, “Paris is doing it all for attention, as usual. It’s a publicity stunt, just like everything else.”
Somehow I think Nicole would want nothing to do with having a double wedding with Paris, anyway, so I don’t see this idea going anywhere.

Paris Hilton’s brother Barron has heard the consequences of his drunken driving spree. Barron pleaded no contest to DUI. He was arrested in February after cops say he drove drunk (falling down drunk), showed them a fake ID and rammed his car into a Malibu gas station employee. His blood alcohol level was .14 at the time of his arrest, nearly twice the legal limit.A judge has ordered that 18-year-old Barron be placed on three years probation and had his license yanked for a year. He must also attend a three-month alcohol program, visit a Los Angeles County morgue (just like Lindsay Lohan) and attend a lecture given by Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

Paris Hilton felt she had to call into Ryan Seacrest’s show on KIIS, and spent the interview defending that her relationship with Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden was not a hoax. Throughout the interview, Seacrest teased her that their romance was just a spoof for Ashton Kutcher’s new E! prank show, ‘Pop Fiction’, after she staged a scene with a “guru” who was later exposed to be actor Maxie Santillan for the show.“This is not for Pop Fiction,” Hilton insisted. “It’s not a hoax!”
With Maddenby her side during the early morning telephone interview, Paris gushed:
“He’s been my friend for a couple of years now, and we’re really happy,”The hotel heiress said it was his idea to wear the matching ‘ BM’ and ‘PH’ rings. “That was a very special present I got,” Hilton said enthusiastically. “He’s really sweet.”
Paris, also said her parents approve of the relationship. “They’re really happy for me!”

It’s a two for one bargain today , as TMZ reports that both Jason Davis and Barron Hilton have been charged. Jason ‘Gummi Bear’ Davis was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor driving under the influence. He was arrested last Friday after cops found what they thought was cocaine on him. But as it turns out it was more serious then then they thought as the controlled substance in question was actually heroin. Jason Davis, “Gummi Bear” is the brother of the slightly more famous Brandon Davis, sometimes referred to as “Greasy Bear.” The brothers are heirs to a billion dollar inheritance, which explains their tabloid popularity and socialite status. Jason is frequently seen on celebrity news and gossip blogs getting turned away at the front door of exclusive clubs.
Barron (Paris Hilton’s brother for those that have been hibernating for the winter) was officially charged with DUI, unlawful use of a license and unlicensed driving. His court date has been set for April 14th. 18-year-old Barron was arrested last month in Malibu.
The two knuckleheads will both probably have the best lawyers money can buy so don’t expect justice to be served like it would for more normal mortals. Barron Hilton has hired sister Paris’ attorney, Richard Hutton.

Paris Hilton enjoyed a night out in Hollywood on Saturday with a new accessory, a spiritual guru. Was the hotel-heiress’ intention to change her party-girl image, start a new trend or just dangle another fashion accessory?
The party-loving socialite was joined by the guru said to be a Buddhist monk, as she paid a visit to the Bodhi Tree Bookstore, where she bought a number of self-help books including one entitled “The Path of the Painted Shaman.”The oddball pair then headed to a nearby cafe, where they read through the guide before he appeared to bless her. The bearded guru, who was dressed in long red and orange robes, also urged Hilton to cleanse herself by giving away a diamond necklace to a lucky passer-by.

But this “Guru” that has supposedly come to help change Paris’ life is actually a Hollywood actor. His real name is Maxie Santillan, and he’s appeared in tons of films and TV shows including “My Name is Earl” and “Pirates of the Caribbean.” According to IMDB, Maxie’s latest projects are all in “post production” so clearly he has some free time to hang out with Paris. What we don’t know for sure is did Maxie pull the robe over Paris Hilton’s gullible eyes or did the socialite hire the actor as a publicity stunt? One clue might come from Maxie’s MySpace profile quote, which reads, “Burbank can kiss my ass.”

Paris and Benji made their first public appearance during a shopping spree in West Hollywood yesterday, where they made their affection for each other clear by strolling around hand-in-hand. Of course you knew it wouldn’t take long for Paris to be photographed with her new boyfriend. Clearly Paris needs Benji, otherwise who will haul all those shopping bags?
The new romance has been in overdrive since the pair crossed paths at LA’s exclusive Villa nightclub in LA last week. Meanwhile, Paris, who starred in The Simple Life alongside Nicole from 2003 to 2007, is preparing to star in a new reality TV show. Clearly there is no such thing as too much attention for Paris. Now with sometime best friend Nicole somewhat tied up with motherhood (the baby isn’t stopping her from being out most nights) - Paris is on the hunt for a new best friend forever.
A source told Us Weekly: “The show is going to be about her searching for a new best friend.” “Paris is tired of the haters and she’s looking for someone new. She’s looking for someone new and cool who she can trust.”
Added the source: “[The new show is] going to be full of good chick drama and you will see a side of Paris not seen on Simple Life.”
The untitled project is expected to be picked up by either MTV or VH1

In one of her longest recent romances, Paris Hiton and Good Charlotte frontman Benji Madden have been seen together since last Thursday. The new couple hooked up February 21, while partying at Club Villa in L.A. The hotel heiress was with sister Nicky Hilton and a large group of women and are still going strong 4 days later. An eyewitness told Life & Style, “When she saw Benji, she only had eyes for him. She walked over and gave him a huge kiss. It was over the top and lots of tongue was involved!”The magazine reports further that Benji, who’s the twin brother of Nicole Richie’s fiance Joel Madden, “hibernated in a corner booth with Paris and did not leave until 1:15am.
Paris and Benji then travelled to the Missouri town together where Hilton promoted her new perfume. And in true Paris style they headed out for a night at local nightclub Home.
The pair were first spotted together at Los Angeles club Villa last week.
An onlooker said: “When she saw Benji, she only had eyes for him. She walked over and gave him a huge kiss. It was over the top and lots of tongue was involved.
“They hibernated in a corner booth. The entire time, she stroked his arm and rubbed his leg as she whispered in his ear.”
Paris has recently been romantically linked to just about every man she encounters, while Benji officially split from Sophie Monk, his Australian fiancée of 18 months, earlier this month.

This story reminds me of the old adage, that it take makes money to make money. While sometimes Paris’s talents are a mystery to me she makes plenty of money “staring” in a movie every now and then, and being the face of product lines from fragrances to shoes. And of course there is appearance money. Rumor is that Las Vegas club Pure, which is being probed by the IRS, pays Hilton upward of $1.2 million a year to host parties and show up — and that club LAX also gives her a hefty six-figure sum every time she shows up. Both clubs deny paying Hilton. But with an IRS probe going on, if Paris is found to be getting income from these clubs without paying taxes, you know what happens next.

Paris decided to do something new and original, she partied the night away in the Pussycat Doll lounge at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas as part of her week long birthday celebration.
Paris didn’t have to work hard to be the center of attention this time. She was the featured act and performed with the Pussycat Dolls. The Pussycat Dolls, incorporate song, fashion, charm and choreography into their performances. Donning a white corset and stockings Paris looked every bit the Las Vegas stripper.
She later changed into a more daring outfit to perform alone - the black leather outfit consisited of long leather gloves, a Nazi-style leather hat and, of course, a black lace bra and stockings.
While it’s easy to rip on Paris for her self-centered ways, I will say it takes a certain something to put yourself out in front of audiences unbowed the way she does. Paris’ birthday is today, the 17th of February and she is now 27. Happy Birthday!

Paris Hiltons’ little brother, 18-year-old Barron is following in his sister’s foosteps by getting reportedly arrested for DUI in Malibu at 8:30 a.m. this morning!Cops say Barron Hilton was driving a black Mercedes on Pacific Coast Highway with a passenger but not one of his sisters. Barron just moved to Los Angeles for college.
I don’t know which is a bigger indication of a problem, Barron not of legal drinking age yet, or getting busted for drinking at 8:30 in the morning?

Update: Barron Hilton perhaps had more then a DUI. Allegedly he struck a gas station attendant with his car early this morning as he careened into a 76 gas station. The worker, Fernando Tellez, was not hurt when Barron’s black Mercedes bowled into him between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m., but he insisted on calling the cops.
“I was knocked to the ground,” Tellez claimed to PageSix. “The Mercedes lost control as it was turning into the gas station and Barron got out of the car and he was totally drunk and couldn’t walk straight.”
Expect Barron to have the best lawyers money can buy. And he may need them because in addition to the DUI, Barron could face an underage drinking charge, and perhaps reckless driving, operating to endanger, and Vehicular assault.
