Country songstress Rosanne Cash is recovering at home after undergoing brain surgery last week, said to be a “rare but benign condition”.
The Grammy-winning singer/songwriter, is reported to have been diagnosed with Stage 1 Chiari malformation. Rosanne had the operation at the New York Presbyterian Hospital on November 27(07).
A posting on the 52-year-old’s website reads: “Rosanne is back home recovering comfortably from her surgery.
“She extends thanks and appreciation for all the love, good wishes, prayers and kindness.” The critically-acclaimed singer is the daughter of Johnny Cash and his first wife Vivian, and the eldest of the late icon’s five children.
