Now that he’s adjusted to life after his horrific plane crash earlier this fall, Travis Barker is getting back to his usual social self. And yesterday he was spotted with ex-wife Shanna Moakler at the Miss California pageant in Palm Springs.
The former Blink-182 drummer looked cozy as he schmoozed with his babymama (who happened to be wearing her wedding ring on her left-hand ring finger) and enjoyed the day’s festivities.
Shanna Moakler sure likes to blather on to anyone who’ll listen about her undying love for ex-husband Travis Barker. Too bad nobody wants to hear about it- especially Travis. Since Travis Barker’s plane crash a few months ago, which left him badly burned, Moakler has tried to appear as the devoted, sympathetic wife who is glued to his side - an image she reinforced in a recent interview with Life & Style magazine.
Since the devastating plane crash that nearly killed Travis Barker on Sept. 19, his ex-wife Shanna Moakler has rarely left the rocker’s side. An emotional Shanna sat down for an exclusive interview and photo shoot with Life & Style on Nov. 14, breaking her silence about where the on-again, off-again couple, who divorced earlier this year, stand now.
“I’m helping him as much as I can,” Shanna tells Life & Style. “I’ll do anything he ever needs.” And while this new stage of their relationship is still too delicate to put a label on, Shanna confirms she has no desire to date anyone else right now. “Travis and I go back and forth so much that I don’t have time to meet anybody or do anything,” she says. “We have a profound love, and he’ll always be in my life no matter what.”
When it comes to what the future holds for her and Travis, however, Shanna admits she’s less certain. “We’re so alike — we both have type-A personalities,” she notes. “I almost think it’s like we love each other too much.” Still, she’s not ready to give up just yet, adding, “Who knows what can happen?”
“Breaking her silence?” Are you kidding me? The woman issued a press release the day of the damn plane crash that made it sound like she and Travis were back together, for crying out loud. If I’d been interviewing Shanna, I would have asked her why she felt the need to keep talking about her ex-husband to the media all the time instead of talking about herself or any upcoming career plans or projects in the works. Oh yeah- she doesn’t have any! I’d also ask her why her beloved ex husband whom she’d do anything for is claiming that she stopped visiting him in the hospital after the initial first few days - when the media frenzy died down - and was recently photographed drunkenly flirting with Gerard Butler. And then I’d tell her to STFU and stop riding on the coattails of her ex husband’s tragedy to redeem herself in the media. But then again, maybe that’s why I don’t work for celeb ass-kissing magazines like Life & Style.

The fact that he narrowly survived a plane crash earlier this fall was all the more reason for Travis Barker to celebrate his 33rd birthday on Friday night.
The former Blink-182 drummer was surrounded by family and friends as he gave thanks for another year of life with a celebration dinner at Nobu.

The Playboy babe was spotted kissing Gerard Butler at his new Hollywood restaurant Shin last night (October 13), sending rumor mills spinning overtime!
While the father of her children is laying in the hospital covered in horrible skin burns, Shanna Moakler is out trying desperately to ‘trade-up’ to 300 star Gerard Butler.
Shanna was happy to be all up on Gerard at Shin Monday night, nearly sitting in his lap and kissing on him all night. Gerard, on the other hand, has the look of a horny man questioning his decision to go slumming with a F-list model/actress.

Even though he's still recovering from his own injuries, Travis Barker is doing something to help the families of his assistant and bodyguard who were killed in a tragic plane crash last month. Travis and his TRVSDJAM band mate DJ AM were the only survivors.
Travis is teaming up with "Famous Stars and Straps" clothing line to produce an exclusive T-shirt honoring the memory of his personal assistant Chris Baker and his bodyguard Charles Still, who was known as "Che."
A benefit concert is also planned and will feature a performance by celebrity DJ Mark Ronson, later this month in Hollywood.
You can order the shirt online and all of the money will go to a memorial fund set up for the two men.
Meanwhile, Travis' ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, is thanking everyone for their outpouring of love and support following the crash. On her myspace blog, Shanna writes that she is personally going through all the letters that fans have sent in. And Shanna's also posted a new video from PETA where she's encouraging people to become vegetarians.
Plane crash survivor Travis Barker will be home in LA soon and his ex-wife Shanna Moakler is committed to seeing him through his difficult recovery.
Travis is making the long journey back to Los Angeles from the Georgia burn center via bus.
An insider reveals, "Trust me, [Travis] will never fly again – ever."
You can't blame the poor guy.
A 'friend' close to the couple revealed, "She (Shanna) is so devoted to him [and] he appreciates it so much. She's sticking by him. She is with him. Despite everything that's happened to them, they love each other."
As for Travis' health, he's supposedly "not in good shape" and everything is still very "serious".
He'll continue to receive treatment at an LA center.

As a follow up to the Gossip Girls story on Shanna Moakler’s emotional trip to visit Travis Barker (who suffered massive burns in a plane crash over the weekend), it sounds like she’s in it for the long haul.
A source close to the situation revealed to press that the drummer’s ex-wife is committed to seeing him make it through a full recovery. “She’s been at his bedside ever since she got there. She loves him and she’s not going to leave him.”
It has been an emotional past few days for Shanna Moakler, who was seen crying as she left an Augusta, Georgia hospital after being by Travis Barker’s side.
As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Travis is suffering from critical burns he sustained in a plane crash that ended up claiming four lives.

I’m luvin’ Travis’ facial hair! But, I am biased. I love, love, love facial hair, but only on some guys. It makes some men look so much hawter, while others look fug, or are just too hairy, their hair’s too thick, too unruly, too gross. But I’m feelin’ it on Travis.
On July 30th at the Roxy, DJ-AM performed with Travis Barker on the drums. They did covers of Oasis, Metallica, Nancy Sinatra, and some hip hop stuff with a surprise performance by Warren G who came out with Regulate. Shanna and Travis look like they were having a good time.
With her nanny currently in the spotlight for the allegations she raised against Rob Lowe, Shanna Moakler's had to look after her kids herself lately - heck, the other day she even brought them along for a lunch date with her estranged hubby Travis Barker!
Hopefully the presence of their kids helped keep things calm between Shanna and Travis during the meal - after all, given the currently stormy state of their relationship, these two need all the incentive to be civil to each other that they can get right now!

Reality TV star/Travis Barker's ex-wife is speaking out about the allegations that Laura Boyce has made about Sheryl Lowe. Boyce is the second nanny to speak up with a countersuit against the Lowe family and occasionally babysits for Moakler.
According to Shanna, "I've been friends with Laura for the past ten years - before she was my nanny - and I completely stand by her." Good for Laura. That's almost as meaningful of an endorsement as this one.

You kids are gonna love this one! Who doesn’t like to watch pretty girls backstabbing and catfighting? It’s sort of a cross between the pretty girl drama on America’s Next Top Model and the all out crazy biatches (for lack of a better word) on The Flavor of Love. The CW’s new show “Crowned: The Mother of all Pageants” explores the most volatile relationships known to man as mothers and daughters compete together in a no-holds-barred beauty pageant.
The judges/referee’s for the eight-episdode competition are fabulous too. Carson Kressley from Queer Eye and former Miss U.S.A. Shanna Moakler (a/k/a Mrs. Travis Barker) and Cynthia Garrett try to stay out of the way of these determined mother/daughter teams as they fight it out for tiara’s and $100,000 cash. Crowned airs on the CW Wednesday, December 12 at 9pm.
