Mena Suvari and music producer Simone Sestito are engaged, according to People. Sestito proposed to the American Beauty actress during their recent vacation to Jamaica, and a source close to Suvari told the magazine, "They're taking their time planning the wedding. They are in no rush."
Suvari met Sestito last year at the Toronto International Film Festival when Suvari was there promoting her film Stuck. Suvari was previously married to cinematographer Robert Brinkmann, whom she divorced over three years ago.

Yesterday was a busy one for the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, as the Step Up Women’s Network held their annual Inspiration Awards gala. And stars like Jennifer Love Hewitt (who was actually an honoree at the event), Mena Suvari, and Kelly Preston all stopped by to check it out.
“Ghost Whisperer” star Jennifer Love Hewitt even got her fiancé Ross McCall to accompany her to the shindig. And she looked conservative-yet-sexy in a black button-up jacket with matching skirt and a pair of peep-toe high heels.
I don’t know about you, but getting your ass grabbed by a guy who doesn’t understand how a belt works, in the middle of the day on the beaches of Miami just screams “classy”. That dude looks like he’s just discovered the wonders of a woman’s ass for the first time. I haven’t seen someone that attentive since I gave my 4 year old nephew a bag of playdough.

I’ve never been a big fan of Mena Suvari (@Malibu Beach yesterday). A lot of people call her hot but she’s just so average. Unlike me. Yesterday, before being sent directly to jail, I collected $10 after winning second prize in a beauty contest.
I have to say Mena Suvari rocks the bald look. And for some weird reason, it doesn’t make her huge forehead look bigger, which you would think would be the natural result. The actress shaved her head for her role in “The Garden of Eden,” an upcoming film based on the Ernest Hemmingway book. Some women can really pull off this look – it just depends on individual features and jaw structure, I think. Oh, and a lack of crazy eyes and umbrellas being wielded.

I wonder who Britney Spears thought she was testing when she got all uppity and shaved her hair. I’m pretty sure everyone failed, and stopped loving her, based on the reactions. Correction: they continued not to love her. Few people were big fans at that point anyway. I think Mena looks amazing, and I’m glad she’s not covering up the bald. When you know someone’s done that, all you do is wonder what it really looks like. I really would give my left arm to see Britney without the wigs. I think Mena would look a bit better without the bug glasses, but I’m slow to adapt to fashion trends. She has some awesome curves. Now I can see why Kevin Spacey had that crush on her.
