  UPDATE: Jason Wahler Ordered to Pay Truck Driver

  A civil court jury has found Jason Wahler used excessive force and harmed a tow truck driver in a September 2006 altercation. On Thursday, the court ordered Wahler to pay $5,000 in damages. The victim, Dario Stevenson filed a lawsuit against the reality TV star and his then-girlfriend, model Kristen DeLuca in August of 2007 for compensatory and punitive damages for the verbal and physical abuse he suffered. DeLuca previously settled with Stevenson, agreeing to pay him $3,000 for her role in the altercation. Last week, Judge Elizabeth A. Grimes decided that jurors would be allowed to hear evidence from the arrest, which included details of the racist remarks Wahler allegedly made to Stevenson, as well as details regarding Wahler's behavior when police took him into custody.

  Jason Wahler of "Laguna Beach" infamy is out of the joint and talking about it. He's sidestepping any talk of how he probably had to bite some pillows. I'm sorry, he's much too sorta cutesy to have not been "Oz"'ed. Rape's no joke, but he's annoying and racist and homophobic so I think he deserved to get Tobias Beecher'ed. Sell that ass for some cigarettes and a phone card, cellmates!
  

  
  "Jail was a very humbling experience. It gave me time to reflect and really think about my mistakes," says the reality-TV star, 20, who was released Tuesday after serving 18 days.

  He added, "It made me want to really focus on my career. I spent my time reading and studying the script for my upcoming film "10,000 Doors". I am happy to be home with my family and friends and am thankful to them for getting me through this rough time."

  
  Hopefully one of those doors has a backdraft behind it. Remind me to check out that flick at my local independent cinema. He had earned a 30 day sentence for douchery, I mean assault, and was released early on good behavior. He's currently engaged to college tennis player Katja Decker-Sadowski. Oh girl, you need to make it to Wimbledon and lose the clown if you know what's good for you. Make like Martina!

  Jason Wahler Wishes that Heidi and Spencer Would Like Shut Up and Stuff

  Jason Wahler is speaking out about a rumor started by Aryan nation poster children, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, that he and Lauren Conrad had made a sex tape together. Since Wahler was in rehab at the time word of the tape first started, he wasn't able to publicly denounce the rumors, but now he's got Ryan Seacrest to help him with that. When chatting with the KISS-FM radio show host, Wahler expressed his annoyance with the young couple and has decided to make an appearance on "The Hills" next week, to clear up any confusion.

  "The most frustrating part is that they are such lowlifes that they have to come up with stuff to try and ruin other people," says Wahler. "It's just frustrating."

  I love that Ryan Seacrest is all about being the Barbara Walters for "The Hills" kids. I wonder if it's easy for him to keep a straight face, when they're getting all emotional about whatever "issue" it is they're addressed, whether it's Heidi's boobs or some silly little feud is going on at the moment. Well, I guess Ryan's always pretty good at playing it straight, now that I think about it.
