Miley Cyrus Gets a Gay Marriage Tattoo

via HuffPo: On Friday night, the former “Hannah Montana” star tweeted a photo of a new tattoo, a small equal sign on the side of her ring finger. With the photo, Cyrus wrote, “All LOVE is equal.”

In response to a fan’s tweet disagreeing her stance, she wrote, “where does it say in the bible to judge others? Oh right. It doesn’t. GOD is the only judge honey. ‘GOD is love.’”

Cyrus has been outspoken in her support for gay rights; in 2009, after Carrie Prejean told Perez Hilton during the Miss USA contest that she did not believe in gay marriage, Cyrus tweeted, “Jesus loves you and your partner and wants you to know how much he cares! That’s like a daddy not loving his lil boy cuz he’s gay and that is wrong and very sad! Like I said everyone deserves to be happy. I am a Christian and I love you ‘

LeAnn Rimes Responds To Shape Magazine Controversy

leanncovercheat.jpg

LeAnn Rimes is speaking out after Shape editor-in-chief Valerie Latona wrote that “putting her on the cover was not meant to put a husband-stealer on a pedestal, but to show (through her story) how we all are human,” adding that it was “a terrible mistake.” In the accompanying magazine article, LeAnn Rimes talked about cheating on her husband Deane Sheremet with Eddie Cibrian, and it was an honest and candid interview.

Latona then apologized, noting that “a mere 40 readers out of almost six million” wrote in to complain about Rimes. “I stand by the fact that LeAnn’s story is compelling — and her courage and strength in the face of so much adversity is compelling,” Latona said. “I wrote to those women apologizing that our cover choice did not make them happy, as I have done for other cover stars in the past.”

What did the country star have to say about all this? LeAnn tweeted yesterday, “Just so all my fans know, I’m getting to the bottom of this. It’s the first I’ve heard of this. Shape is throwing me a party next week as a thank you and a congrats for being on their cover for the 3rd time. I find this very contradictory. I love you all!!”

Rimes also posted an invitation to RSVP for the Shape cocktail reception, and tweeted back at a handful of fans who showed their support.
Hmm, who wouldn't cheat on their husband with Eddie Cibrian? And look how happy he makes her!

Edward Norton Responds to Hulk Drama

It was recently announced that Edward Norton will not be reprising his role as Bruce Banner aka the Incredible Hulk, and over the weekend Norton weighed in on the situation.

The iconic actor wrote on his Facebook page, “As most of you know, I don’t like to talk much about the business of making movies because it means a lot to me to protect the audience’s fullest enjoyment of the ‘magic’ that films can have. But I am so appreciative of the outpouring of support from fans of the Hulk and the Avengers that I feel it would be rude not to respond.”

Continuing on, he added, “It seems it won’t work out for me to continue playing Bruce Banner for Marvel in ‘The Avengers’. I sincerely hoped it could happen and be great for everyone, but it hasn’t turned out as we all hoped. I know this is disappointing to many people and that makes me sad. But I am very sincerely grateful to Marvel for extending the offer and even more so for giving me the chance to be a part of the Hulk’s long and excellent history.’
