High School Musical star, Vanessa Hudgens, appears on the cover and was interviewed for the February issue of Seventeen magazine. She commented on her naked photos being leaked online last September and her relationship with Zac Efron. Here are some excerpts:
“It was very traumatic, and I am extremely upset it happened. I hope all my fans can learn from my mistake and make smart decisions.”
Her manager was the person who gave her the news about the leaked nude photos:
“We heard some story was going to break in the tabloids, and I was like, ‘What?!?’ A few days later, the picture came out while I was on vacation in Australia. Thank God, I wasn’t home — it would have sucked. It’s very unfortunate because with the Internet these days, you don’t have a personal life. Nothing is private: Everyone knows everything, and they can find out everything about you… you have to be aware of the people you’re around.”
When she broke the news to her mom, she said:
“I was just open with her, and she was just so cute. She was like, ‘Well, everyone can be naked if they want to.’ [Laughs] My parents are very supportive of me. And they know I’m a teenager, and yes, kids do stupid things sometimes.”
Vanessa feels lucky to have the support from her boyfriend Zac Efron:
“He always makes me happy. He literally knows exactly what to do to make me laugh.”
When asked if they’re ready to walk down the aisle, she said:
“No. It’s fun having a boyfriend. But only time will tell. I’m still young, and I have my girlfriends and I have my family. I think that it’s definitely important to have balance.”

Vanessa Hudgens faces yet another difficulty only this time the drama involves salaries rather than scandalous photos. It was announced Monday that Hudgens is being sued by her former lawyer, Brian L. Schall, over an $150,000 in allegedly unpaid fees. Schall claims the starlet has swiped more than $5 million in songwriting and recording deals that he was instrumental in negotiating. Vanessa wasn’t allowing any lawsuits to take the fun out of her Friday nights.
Despite the reports that they have parted ways, Vanessa and Zac Efron still appear to be making beautiful music together on and off the stage. The two young lovers were spotted getting intimate at their own little booth at Hollywood’s hottest hole-in-the-wall, Lola’s, on Friday night. The Disney darlings were reportedly sipping a selection of signature martinis (What happened to being 21?) in between constant kisses and cuddles. Strangely enough, their intimate little night out was interrupted when pal Luke Perry joined them.
Even though the pair did plenty of kissing under the martinis last week, rumors abound Mr. Efron has a very long line of ladies waiting for him to call.
“Gorgeous girls throw themselves at him all the time, and he has plenty of phone numbers,” inside sources say. “And while things are on between Vanessa and Zac at the moment, he has plenty of back-up when/if things go sour.”
No matter what happens, it looks like Hudgens has her “High School” sisters for support. Hudgens was spotted doing a little last-minute shopping with Ashley Tisdale in Woodland Hills on Christmas Eve.
